Kim Kardashian & North West Show Love To Ice Spice On TikTok: Watch

There are millions of people creating content on TikTok, but no one is doing it quite like Kim Kardashian and her eldest daughter. Despite Kanye West previously protesting North’s use of the social media platform, she and her mom continue to collaborate on fun videos together that keep the internet laughing.

On Sunday (February 19), the 42-year-old posted a 15-second clip to her personal page. Like many other users of the app, Kardashian seems to have PinkPantheress and Ice Spice’s new collaboration stuck in her head. “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” landed on DSPs earlier this month, and has quickly become a TikTok favourite, with various people using the song to soundtrack their posts.

In their video, the SKIMS founder and North take turns singing along to the Bronx baddie’s catchy lyrics. “But I don’t sleep enough without you,” Kim lip-syncs for the camera while laying in bed. “And I can’t eat enough without you / If you don’t speak, does that mean we’re through? / Don’t like sneaky shit that you do,” Spice’s verse concludes.

This isn’t the first time that the oldest Kardashian-West kid has shown love to the “Bikini Bottom” hitmaker. Earlier this month, she revealed that she’s got some serious drawing skills, putting together an impressive portrait of Isis Gaston. Upon seeing the artwork, Spice made sure to return the love to North.

Though 2022 was full of heartache for the mother of four, 2023 seems to be bringing her plenty of fun experiences. She hasn’t been romantically linked to anyone since splitting from Pete Davidson. Rather, Kardashian has been spending plenty of time with her friends and family – and not to mention making money moves.

Earlier this weekend, the socialite revealed a few of her favourite workouts on Instagram, shouting out her personal trainer for motivating her to keep her body right. Speaking of her figure, Kim also modelled various bikinis for her followers in an extraterrestrial ad campaign. All of this came before she flew to Las Vegas to watch Adele perform alongside Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber. Read more about that here, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Meek Mill Returns With “Don’t Follow The Heathens” Freestyle”

Meek Mill isn’t slowing down this year. The Philadelphia rapper blessed fans with a new freestyle on Friday titled, “Don’t Follow The Heathens.” However, he keeps it raw this time around, dishing bars from the floor of the studio instead of the booth.

The airy production includes a soft, pitched-up vocal sample that Meek takes on with ease before leaping into an acapella performance. Throughout the record, he reflects on all that he’s accomplished and his glow up from his days freestyling on corners in Philadelphia. “Sittin’ in the Hills, countin’ up a mill/ Dirty North n***a, now I’m rich like Uncle Phil,” he raps on the new freestyle. “Fresh Prince of Philly in arenas like I’m Gill’.”

His latest freestyle earned significantly more praise than his celebratory bars over 2Pac’s “Hit ‘Em Up” he previewed this week. The rapper took to IG shortly after the Eagles secured their spot in the Super Bowl to diss the 49ers. However, fans didn’t necessarily think Meek’s freestyle was all that. Still, the release of “Don’t Follow The Heathens” freestyle proves that he hasn’t lost it at all.

Meek’s teased new singles and freestyles via Instagram in recent weeks. Since the release of Expensive Pain, the rapper’s been on a mission to establish himself independently. Though it took time, he finally unveiled Flamerz 5 in late November, including freestyles over “Super Gremlin,” “Munch,” and “God Did.”

Prior to the mixtape’s release, he hinted at releasing an influx of music throughout 2023. Though he said he had plans to release 10 mixtapes, he recently revealed that he’s aiming to drop a new mixtape each quarter this year. However, he’s yet to share a release date for his next body of work.

We’ll keep you posted on any more new music from Meek Mill. Check out the “Don’t Follow The Heathens” freestyle below.

Drake Drops New Bars On IG After Urging Spotify To Pay Bonuses To Artists

Drake might have new music coming soon. During his performance at the Apollo Theater, he suggested that a follow-up to Her Loss could arrive this year. However, he provided fans with a glimpse of what he was working on. The rapper took to Instagram where he shared a slew of new photos along with a lengthy caption that previewed unreleased bars.

“Introduced myself to consistency &we fell in love
Ever since then we’ve been stuck &can’t get enough
@ this rate the going rate to see the one they rate isn’t luck
Easy to see your hard work just ain’t hard enough because look @ them &look at us
I’m just an observer who has seen enough
My mouth is becoming like the doors I opened for you I should have kept it shut
Wish I could explain what happens in person to these guys acting tough
Basically I let them keep dreaming and make believing til i decide to wake them up”

Consistency is clearly on Drake’s mind heavily these days. This week, Spotify revealed Drake as the first artist to surpass 75 billion streams on its platform. Though a historical milestone in Drizzy’s career, he doesn’t seem keen on receiving more accolades but instead, a bonus. He shared a statement explaining that platforms like Spotify should reward artists who rake in massive streams with cash incentives for streaming achievements.

“We should get bonuses like athletes to motivate the future artists to be consistent and competitive,” he captioned the post. “So feel free to send me a LeBron-sized [cheque]. I have enough dinner plates @spotify,” he added. The rapper previously shared a video of himself eating pasta out of a Spotify plaque after “In My Feelings” hit 1B streams.

Besides his streaming achievements, Drake will be hitting the road this year alongside 21 Savage. Tour dates leaked online but the two artists have not formally announced the tour. Hopefully, that information comes soon, as well as new music from both artists.

Ice Spice Responds After Chance The Rapper Asks If She Dissed Him On “In Ha Mood”

The reasons to love Ice Spice are endless. From her “Instagram caption raps” to her completely unique sense of style, the 23-year-old’s star continues to markedly rise within the industry. As the masses digest her recently released debut EP, one rapper has some questions, specifically about a potential diss.

On the trending TikTok track, “In Ha Mood,” the redhead raps, “He a rapper, but don’t got a chance / Stuck in my ways so I’m lovin’ my bands.” Earlier this weekend, Chance The Rapper used his Instagram Story to poll followers on whether the lyrics were aimed at him.

“Is this a diss or a shoutout @icespice?” he wrote over a repost of her new music video for the song. As XXL reports, the “Bikini Bottom” hitmaker saw the Chicago native’s post and took a moment to clear the air.

“Never [crying emoji],” she simply wrote, seemingly implying she has no beef with the 29-year-old. In response, Chance continued the thread on his Story, writing, “Just double checking lol.”

Aside from the “Cocoa Butter Kisses” rapper taking the line personally, some internet sleuths have been speculating it could be aimed at Drizzy. Previously, listeners thought the Canadian was throwing shade at Spice with his “She a 10 tryna rap, it’s good on mute” bar from Her Loss’ “BackOutsideBoyz.”

The fashionista recently cleared up those rumours during a chat with Ebro Darden and his co-hosts. “He didn’t [diss me]. We spoke about it. He said that was not about me,” she confirmed.

Elsewhere in the same conversation, Spice revealed that rhyming wasn’t her first passion. Rather, she wanted to pursue a career as an actress. “I didn’t ever really like see myself being a rapper,” she explained on Hot 97.

In prior acting class, she felt shyer than her peers. Now that her confidence has risen, though, she sounds eager to explore that side of herself again.

Ice Spice’s name has been everywhere lately as she promotes her Like..? EP. One of her most recent interviews was with ELLE, during which she spilled about some of her earliest musical inspirations, among other things.

50 Greatest Rappers Of All Time List Shared Via Partnership Between Billboard & Vibe

Creating a list of the 50 greatest rappers of all time is certainly no easy feat. There are so many artists who deserve a mention for their contributions to the genre and the culture. However, with only 50 spots, there will evidently have to be some notable exclusions.

In a new partnership between Billboard and Vibe, the duo of magazines are sharing their collaborative list of the 50 best rappers ever. On Wednesday (January 11), they shared the first 10, #50-41.

The #50 spot goes to Rick Ross, with Rev Run and Melle Mel above him at #49 and #48 respectively. MC Lyte comes in at #47, Jadakiss at #46 and the 45th spot belongs to Ice-T. Queen Latifah, Bun B and Redman follow, as they take the 44th-42nd spots in order. E-40 is the last rapper to make the first instalment of the list, coming in at #41.

Furthermore, the Bay Area legend is one rapper who took to his Twitter account to express his gratitude for his inclusion on the list. “Appreciate the recognition from @billboard & @VibeMagazine for their 50 Greatest Rappers of All-Time list[.] Still feel underrated nationally but nobody can deny my longevity, independent hustle, my unorthodox style and creative slang in this rap game!!” writes the 55-year-old.

However, it’s certainly inspiring some interesting reactions and responses on social media. Specifically, some fans seemingly disagree with Jadakiss being in the bottom 10. “E-40 ranked higher over Jadakiss on this 50 greatest rappers list,” writes one fan on Twitter.

“How you got a top 50 rappers list and Jadakiss is at the bottom of the list?” questions brokencool in his own response.

The list serves as a celebration of hip-hop correspondingly turning 50 years old this year. Each week, they’ll be further announcing the list’s next 10 rappers. The final top 10 will eventually be unveiled during the week of February 6. It will certainly be interesting to see who they rank where.

Ice Spice is undeniably one of the hottest names in the game right now. Ever since the arrival of her viral single, “Munch (Feelin’ U)” last August, she’s demanded everyone’s attention through her catchy songs and charisma.

Unfortunately, she’s no stranger to her music leaking on the internet though.

On Tuesday (January 10), a snippet of one of her unreleased songs began circulating on social media. The track is allegedly a collaboration with fellow Bronx rapper, Lil Tjay.

However, the 23-year-old caught wind of the unauthorized leak. Taking to her own Twitter account, she expresses her feelings about it. “stop leaking my sh*t lmfaooo this a bop tho,” she says in a quote tweet of the since-deleted snippet.

Since the aforementioned “Munch (Feelin’ U),” the Bronx native has dropped two other highly successful singles. The first of which is yet another viral hit in “Bikini Bottom,” arriving in October last year. The SpongeBob-inspired track continues to be popular on TikTok. Her most recent and her first release of 2023, is “In Ha Mood.”

Additionally, she also appears on one of Maryland rapper B-Lovee‘s singles from last year, “One Time.” J.I the Prince of N.Y and Skillibeng feature on the posse cut as well.

Ice Spice has yet to release her debut project. However, it seems as though she’s gearing up to release a six-song EP sometime soon.

“I’m about to put out an EP. It’s about to be, like, six songs. Bikini Bottom’s on there, and then there’s some that people haven’t heard. It’s gonna be a vibe. Visuals coming with it too,” she says while appearing on the Rap Caviar podcast in November.

It will certainly be interesting to hear her first project. Hopefully it arrives in the near future.

Gucci Mane & Kodak Black Tease New Music Together

Gucci Mane and Kodak Black are two artists who never fail to keep their fans fed with new music.

Lately, Gucci has been shifting his focus to promoting the artists signed to his label. Kodak, on the other hand, was busy flooding the streets with plenty of his own solo music last year.

However, it now appears as though the duo is gearing up to drop a brand new track together on Friday (January 10). “Guwop and Zuwop dropping another classic Friday @KodakBlack1k,” writes the 42-year-old in a tweet. The accompanying video shows the “ZEZE” rapper vibing to the song.

The Mr. Davis rapper did drop three albums last year. However, they all serve as compilation tapes with artists on his label, 1017 Records. The most recent of which is December’s monstrous So Icy Boyz: The Finale, which contains four discs and 80 songs featuring the likes of BIG30, Sett, the late Big Scarr and others.

Kodak dropped two full-length releases last year, Back For Everything and Kutthroat Bill: Vol. 1. The former features his most recent hit, “Super Gremlin.” Additionally, the Florida native makes a couple of appearances on Kendrick‘s latest offering, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.

The forthcoming song will serve as the duo’s sixth time officially appearing on the same track together. The first of which is on “Vibin In This Bih,” which is off of Kodak’s 2016 project, Lil Big Pac. They also both make an appearance on a DJ Khaled song from 2017, “Pull a Caper,” alongside Rick Ross. Most famously though, the two collaborated on the Atlanta native’s 2018 smash hit, “Wake Up in the Sky” with Bruno Mars.

Look out for the new track to arrive on streaming services on Friday. Other artists expected to drop this week include BabyTron and 21 Lil Harold.

21 Lil Harold Shines On New Single, “Out Of Time”

21 Lil Harold is preparing to have a busy year in 2023. Coming off a breakthrough year in 2022, the Slaughter Gang rapper is keeping his foot on the gas.

His mixtape, LARRY, arrived in March last year. Dedicating the project to his late friend, the deluxe version came just a month later, featuring “Good Times” with Offset. Along with tracks like “Robbin Season” and “Damn” with G Herbo, the Atlanta native showcases his storytelling abilities and unique delivery. Thanks to his infectious energy and candid reflection, it’s clear why he’s 21 Savage‘s protegé.

On Friday (January 6), 21 Lil Harold dropped off a brand new single, “Out of Time,” along with an accompanying video. The song further cements him as one of the most promising rising stars in the game.

Although the song clocks in at just under two minutes, the “Savage” rapper makes his presence known. A choir sample kicks off the new track before the booming 808s enter and Harold wastes no time in flexing. “500, Richard Millie / I can see me now, I’m turnin’ up my city / I got these young b*tches goin’ crazy, all these freak h*es / I know you gettin’ money back then, but your car repoed,” he raps with ease in the first verse.

His official debut album, After the Curse, is set to release next Friday (January 13). “Out of Time” serves as its third single, along with the aforementioned “Robbin Season” and “Damn.”

EBK Young Joc & Big Sad 1900 Link Up For New Single, “Prada Steppin”

EBK Young Joc is quickly becoming one of the hottest rappers out of California. Hailing from Stockton, he’s undeniably the face of his hometown’s newly-emerging rap scene.

In August 2022, however, one of his closest collaborators, Young Slo-Be was tragically shot and killed at just 29. The pair were actively working together to put Stockton on the map. Slo-Be’s viral single, “I Love You” and the duo’s countless music videos with each other were allowing them to do just that.

Now, Young Joc is proudly carrying the torch. Last year, he dropped several singles, including “Need Love,” as well as his fifth mixtape, City Of God. He’s kicking off 2023 with “Prada Steppin,” a new collaboration with Big Sad 1900.

On the fiery new track, the pair of California natives exchange verses addressing their realities, vices and designer clothes. Young Joc kicks off the track, rapping “You know I’m in my bag, that is not a question / Bro be Louis kickin’, b*tch, I’m Prada steppin’ / Boss spent twenty on that chain, now he ain’t got a necklace.”

Big Sad follows suit accordingly. “Told the b*tch, give me money, I don’t need love / Told my family, y’all can let it be, I’m dyin’ with the thugs / Need to spend more time with my son, I’m out here doin’ drugs,” he spits explicitly.

Stream EBK Young Joc and Big Sad 1900’s “Prada Steppin” on either Spotify or SoundCloud below. Comment your thoughts on the track afterwards. Finally, make sure to stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest releases.
