Cardi B & Offset Fans Try To Guess Their Baby’s Name

In September of this year, Cardi B welcomed her third child with her ex, Offset. The baby arrived just a few months after news of their divorce went public, and fans have seen little of her since. The couple hasn’t even announced her name yet, though a new video has left supporters with plenty of theories.

Earlier this week, jewelry designer Elliot Eliantte took to Instagram to share a clip of Cardi showing off a stack of diamond bracelets. Three of the bracelets feature her kids’ names, though she covered up the name of her youngest. “Y’all can’t see my daughter’s name yet so I gotta hide the last one!” she says in the video. “Just know the whole f*cking wrist is Eliantte b*tch.”

While Cardi covered a majority of the name with her finger, the first two letters were visible, “B” and “L.” Of course, fans are flooding the comments section with their guesses as a result. “Her name is Bloom,” one Instagram user speculates. “Blossom?” another wonders. Other guesses include Blaze, Blessing, Blair, and more. For now, supporters will just have to wait until Cardi is ready to share the big news, though it remains unclear exactly when she plans to do so. It’s far from the only thing her fans are waiting patiently for, however.

Cardi is also currently gearing up to unleash her eagerly anticipated sophomore album, which doesn’t have an official release date yet. However, that wasn’t everything that they discussed and engaged in during the event, as they also spoke on their family dynamic with their son. For those unaware, the couple welcomed him in September of 2020 and have kept his name and most of his personal life a secret from fans, only referring to him as “Papa Bear.” During this recent IG Live, the Trinidadian MC revealed that she wanted to name him after incarcerated Jamaican dancehall icon Ninja Man.

“When I was pregnant, all I did was watch Ninja Man all day,” Nicki Minaj explained as Kenneth Petty shook his head at the idea that the name would be a “match.” “I think I told you guys I was going to call the baby Ninja. My husband didn’t really want me to call the baby Ninja, but I thought it was dope, you know. I had asked people around me and they said yes. I don’t see anything wrong with it. You know, Ninja.”

He actually had a couple nicknames. His first nickname while he was in my stomach was ‘Bubba.’ When he came out, it just transformed into ‘Papa Bear.’ I can’t explain it, but when I looked at him, that’s what I thought.”

Erica Banks and Renni Rucci’s beef began back during their Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta days, and it doesn’t seem like it’s letting up any time soon if the former has anything to say about it. Moreover, during a recent conversation, Banks basically clowned the “Bend It Over” femcee amid discussions about what she should name her baby. “You can name her… I don’t give a f**k about what she names her,” Erica remarked. “I don’t even know why the f**k they asked me that. But I could honestly give less than a f**k about what they name that damn baby.”

Of course, this doesn’t really go at Renni Rucci directly, as plenty of readers could probably care less about what even their best friends name their children. But still, it’s hard not to interpret some sort of shade with Erica Banks’ strong words, or at the very least, making it very clear that the “H*e Please” rapper wants nothing to do with Rucci’s personal life or coverage. We wonder if this is even a strong enough stance to respond to, although involving kids in tense situations rarely ends well. Maybe this will be the fuel for another spat or the more likely scenario instead, which is that it won’t really amount to much.

In February, the R&B singer’s ex Dreezy came forward on Twitter, accusing him of trying to get with her despite his relationship with Sanders. He even allegedly asked to have a child with her. This made it all the more shocking when Sanders announced her own pregnancy the month after.

Sanders is currently several months along, and based on what the pair posts online, they’re actually doing quite well. Recently, however, they did get into a bit of a disagreement regarding their unborn child’s name. In a new clip, Jacquees declares that if their child ends up being a boy, he’ll be named after his father. Immediately, Sanders made it clear that she was not on board.

He went on to suggest that if their child’s last name was his, Broadnax, then the child could be Jr. “But that’s not happening, cuz I’m not married,” Sanders stated, laughing. “So my last name is going as well.”

It remains unclear whether or not the two of them ever reached any sort of compromise, though Sanders seemed pretty sure about her decision. Based on one of Johnson’s latest social posts, both she and her son have been treated like royalty since his arrival, staying true to the family theme. The mother of two took to Twitter/X today to share some new post-delivery photos, also showcasing a special new chain Kodak gifted her as a push present.

Ironically enough, the “Fire Alarm” MC is expecting something of their own- but this might take longer than nine months, or hopefully shorter. Moreover, they are still teasing the release of Luv Is Rage 3, and that’s not even taking into account their promise to drop Barter 16. No matter how you slice it, Lil Uzi Vert has a lot on their plate for new releases, which is common for their rollout strategy after a new project. The name of Chrisean Rock’s first child with Blueface has been controversial ever since the new mother announced it last month. The child, Chrisean Jr., is named after his mother. This didn’t sit right with Blueface, who thought it seemed like she hadn’t put much thought into it.

“I actually feel bad for my son at this point he’s a junior to his mom he don’t gotta be named after me but at least put some thought into it that was some quick last minute…what do you want to name him uhm just write down [Chrisean] Malone smh,” he wrote on Twitter. “Should have just named the baby ‘clout’ would have been more meaningful.” While Chrisean doesn’t appear to have any regrets about her child’s name now, she did consider changing it shortly after his arrival.

“Yes, I’m changing his name I gotta accept it, too. I was f*ckin’ with Chrisean Malone but then I realized Malone is not… It’s not about to be that,” she told followers. “I want it to be Jonathan Jamall Porter Jr. He has two sons but he don’t got a junior yet I don’t like it. I don’t like it like that. It’s kind of mean. I’m telling you, I can’t stay mean forever. I’m a very forgiving person. Plus, that’s my baby daddy.”

Chrisean Rock Shares Her Son’s Middle Name

Tensions have been high ever since Chrisean Rock gave birth to her son with Blueface, Chrisean Jr. Fortunately, things look to have taken a positive turn for the exes. Today, Chrisean Rock took the newborn to church to get blessed, and his father appears to have approved. The pastor blessed both of the child’s parents, and he later Tweeted about it. “That’s more like it, don’t leave his side,” he wrote. “That’s a Blueface baby, hallelujah .”

Amid the ceremony, it was also revealed that Chrisean Jr.’s middle name is Jesus. It’s clear that Chrisean’s leaned into her faith lately, and wants her son to have all the odds in his favor. “Even as it relates to his father,” the pastor said. “We cover him in prayer and every attack the devil has against his life in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.” Last week, Blueface claimed to be done posting about Chrisean, following a lengthy Twitter rant about her. He took to the platform again today, however, and confirmed that he trusts her parenting.
