Princess Love & Amara La Negra Come To Blows Over Ray J Infatuation On “Love & Hip-Hop”

Ray J and Princess Love’s relationship has had many ups and downs, and they’re currently on the latter of those modes. But while some fans might hope that they keep things amicable, it seems like – at least for the TV cameras – another suitor has put that possibility at risk. Moreover, Amara La Negra recently confessed her desire for Ray on Love & Hip Hop: Miami, wording it in a very lewd way that we’ll let the Instagram embed below handle. Apparently, Princess wasn’t too happy with this, as she struck Amara while filming the show. However, it’s unclear if they were actually arguing about Ray, so this is more building off of the context that promotional material and footage offers.

As for Ray J and Princess Love’s relationship, their latest scuffle online was the latter blasting the former for roping their kids into a domestic altercation. “This is the only time I’m going to address this,” she wrote on Instagram earlier this year. “I’ve been trying my best to be the bigger person and just walk away peacefully. But what you’re not going to do is traumatize, manipulate, and gaslight my kids when you can’t do it to me anymore. I’ll save my videos for the judge…”

Princess Love & Amara La Negra Clash Over Ray J

Elsewhere, Ray J was in the headlines recently for very different reasons, but things were not that much more measured or friendly. You may have heard Jaguar Wright’s allegations about Ray’s bond with Whitney Houston and how he allegedly might’ve been involved in her death. He was appalled by this, and went on The Reality Check to eviscerate her for what he calls completely false speculation. In addition, the singer also took aim at her claims against Jay-Z and Beyoncé.

As Ray J and Princess Love continue to settle their differences, whether romantically or otherwise, Amara La Negra is just speaking her mind. Last year, she addressed rumors that she and Safaree were dating, and she’ll probably do the same with this Ray situation. We’ll see if this whole debacle’s eventual resolution happens on camera or through other means. After all, this could escalate beyond its original scope.

Erica Mena Supports Nicki Minaj On IG Despite Their Troubled History

Erica Mena and Nicki Minaj have a complicated history. Both women had relationships with Safaree Samuels, and Mena even has kids with him. These circumstances have led to some fraught exchanges on social media, as well as some passive aggressive remarks made about one another during interviews. That being said, they can occasionally see eye to eye. Nicki Minaj recently posted a video in which she discussed the difficulties of being a mother, and Mena actually showed support.

Minaj’s post threw many fans off due to the rapper’s appearance and speech. She can be seen wearing a hair-cap and speaking very slowly. She seemed on the brink of tears at points. Regardless of what was going, Erica Mena showered the rapper with support. “You got this,” she commented. “Sending real love. Mom life isn’t easy.” Fans were even more surprised to spot Mena’s positivity, given the negative things she’s said about Minaj in the past. In 2018, Mena posted photos of Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez, Lil Kim and Remy Ma on her Instagram with the caption: “Inspirations.” When a user asked whether Minaj was an inspiration, Mena fired back by asking “who?”.

Erica Mena Compliment’s The Rapper’s Parenting

In 2022, the reality star asserted that she wasn’t a fan of Nicki Minaj’s music. She went as far as to claim that the rapper blew up by copying Lil Kim’s style. “Honestly I grew up on Kim so heavy,” she told Hot 97. “When [Nicki] came out, I was like ‘ugh she’s biting my girl.’ It just was what it was.” The tension between these two women have cooled off in recent years, however. Part of it may be due to their shared issues with Safaree Samuels. Minaj’s split from the producer/rapper was messy, as was Erica Mena’s divorce in 2022. Mena attacked Samuels for cheating on her with Love And Hip Hop Miami star Amara La Negra. She even pointed out that Samuels gave more attention to La Negra’s kids than the ones he had with her.

“It’s just very interesting how my kids NEVER received gifts like this by this waste man,” Mena wrote on Instagram in 2023. “My daughter just turned 3. All she got was a birthday cake and a few balloons in his living room. And please don’t get me started on how he didn’t do anything for my son’s 1st birthday until two weeks after the fact.” It’s obvious that Erica Mena holds resentment against Safaree for being a bad dad. It’s not a stretch to envision this experience, which was partially shared with Minaj, was the impetus for her supportive comments about being a mother.

Amara La Negra: Hello, mi amor! Hello, you’re mute. Hi, Amada. How are you? Getting yourself come through with the bangs. Okay. It’s a Bang Tuesday. You see it.

Courtney: You look stunning, Amara. Thank you for chatting with me today. Can you tell us about what’s been happening with your music career?

Amara: Things didn’t work out the way that I planned… I kind of stopped doing music for a little bit… But then I did start doing some music. And one thing led to the other.

Courtney: It’s amazing to see you back in action. How do you manage to juggle motherhood and your career?

Amara: I’m still young… Breastfeeding, too, at the same time will do something for you… But I’m in a space where I do want to start going to the gym. I want to live as long as possible for my girls.

Courtney: Absolutely, self-care is crucial. Now, reflecting on your journey in Love and Hip Hop Miami, how have things changed since you first started?

Amara: A lot of things have changed… It’s very difficult to be open about a lot of personal things that you don’t want to share… It becomes very difficult.

Courtney: You’ve been a powerful voice for the Afro-Latino community and an advocate for black and brown women. Can you speak about your activism?

Amara: I continue to work the Afro Latino community… I continue to be an activist for black and brown women and minorities… I am grateful for the platform.

Courtney: That’s incredibly important work you’re doing. Lastly, can you give us a hint about what to expect in the upcoming season of Love and Hip Hop Miami?

Amara: Something very, very big… Almost like the biggest thing that has happened… It’s about to happen.

Amara La Negra Says She & Safaree Are Not Dating, Hints At Publicity Stunt

Amara La Negra and Safaree sparked relationship rumors earlier this year thanks to some lewd videos and beef with his ex Erica Mena. However, during a recent Instagram Live session, Amara explained that neither she nor Safaree ever made this public. As such, it’s all been just rumors up until this point. Considering how close they were, it seems like a stretch, but the “Love & Hip Hop” star explained that she’s just doing her job and netting a lot of ratings and conversation in the process. In other words, she knew exactly what she was doing.

“Safaree never said y’alls was in a relationship, either,” Amara La Negra responded to a fan during her live session. “I’ve been single since the father of my kids, and I haven’t had sex since the father of my kids. Mama, mira, listen. Mira, mama. [Look, girl]. Let me put it this way. I’m a pretty smart girl, I believe that I am. I’ve come this far because I think I’m pretty smart. “Like I said before, I’ve been single since the father of my kids, I haven’t had sex since the father of my kids, and I continue to do my job,” Amara La Negra continued. “As long as you give us those ratings, I’ma give you what you want. So, if that’s what you want, then that’s what you see. Yass, period. If you don’t get it after that, there’s nothing else that I can tell you mami, okay?

“Let me tell you something,” she concluded. “My first season of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’ was the best season of my life. I had an amazing producer, Marie Carmen Lopez. She really embraced and showcased who I really was, what my purpose was. Second season came, we somewhat did that ‘ehh.’ And then third and fourth, and now on the fifth, I mean, I’m just going with the flow. Whatever that means, if you’re smart enough, you understand. Safaree and Amara La Negra just put on an intimate dance show for Instagram, bumping and grinding with each other. Moreover, the classic Marc Anthony hit “Pa’lla Voy” played in the background, and the Jamaican-American artist captioned the post with “Trying to teach me wth” and some laughing emojis. Of course, given Amara’s Dominican descent, she has those salsa moves on point. On that note, it actually wasn’t all that intimate, as they danced more traditionally before getting closer. With this, the “Love & Hip Hop” alumni gave yet another instance of PDA– and we’ll see how this one goes over with Safaree’s ex-wife Erica Mena.

Furthermore, she recently blasted him for his lousy gifts to their daughter on her birthday, while he gave new boo Amara’s twin babies matching Rolex watches for their small wrists. After Mena and Safaree finalized their divorce in September of last year, it seems like things are still pretty rocky between the two. After all, Erica alleged that the 41-year-old only got their daughter a birthday cake and some balloons for her third birthday. With that discrepancy in mind, it’s not hard to see why she would lash out.

Aside from the PDA, Safaree also spoiled his apparent new boo’s little ones with an incredibly luxurious gift – matching Rolex watches for their tiny wrists.
