Maino Says Hitmaka’s Lying About His Infamous Slap

Maino says he did slap Hitmaka during an altercation in 2008 and that it “straightened [Hitmaka] out a little bit.” Maino discussed the incident during an interview on Way Up with Angela Yee after Hitmaka claimed the slap never actually happened. When Yee played audio of Hitmaka denying it occurred, Maino struggled to understand why he would even bring the topic up.

“Berg, why you even speaking about this issue?” Maino said. “We’re talking over 10 years [ago]. It’s not relevant. Why you taking time to make up these stories?” He added: “All that’s cap. And that’s my issue. Why you even talking about this? Anytime I’m doing an interview [and] they mention that, I downplay it … I just seen him last year. I ain’t on nothing. We way past that. Why you even speaking about that?”

Maino continued: “And not to mention, not only are you speaking about it, but if you’re gonna talk about it, at least say the truth! We all was in a different place back then. And I did a lot of stuff back then. I had a lot of skirmishes and issues with a lot of people, but we got past that … You brought that up and you’re not even telling the truth. You’re making it seem like—you’re talking about I’m opening up for you. It’s all cap.” The denial from Hitmaka stems from an interview with DJ Akademiks. In previous years, he admitted that his doing “some dumb sh*t” led to the beef in the first place.

Megan Thee Stallion Plays Mediator As Jonathan Wright Gets Into It With Her Security

Megan Thee Stallion’s new album MEGAN‘s release party in Los Angeles allegedly faced some scuffles throughout, according to a video reportedly obtained by TMZ Hip Hop. Moreover, apparently celebrity hair stylist Jonathan Wright got into it with Meg’s security guard Tom Lang at the event, as apparently Lang didn’t know who Wright was and refused to allow him access. Eventually, the Houston femcee stepped in and beckoned her bodyguard to let the stylist through, and they reportedly chopped it up over some drinks. At press time, it’s unclear what details of this are actually accurate or which of the two parties was the disrespectful instigator.

Elsewhere, though, Megan Thee Stallion seems to have a big hit on her hands with MEGAN, both off of the strength of previous singles and new spicy material. Some fans reacted wildly to some supposed Nicki Minaj disses on the album, whereas others focused more on the anime references or more personal lyrical matter. Either way, it seems like there’s plenty of content to enjoy no matter what you’re looking for in a rap project. We’ll see how it ages in the year and how it stacks up to what’s to come.

However, one particularly hot topic of discussion online is Megan Thee Stallion’s new MEGAN cut “Down Stairs DJ,” which she dedicated to her… self-love, let’s say. “Me, myself, and I, and a rose / Ebony, lezzy, XVideos / Big titty, blonde hair, Anna Nicole / Spicy Spanish hottie, nympho,” she raps on the cut. Of course, it’s not like Tina Snow ever shied away from raunchiness in her previous material, but this became a particularly detailed account, so to speak. In addition, it also prompted a lot of folks’ appreciation for this topical focus and the general themes of self-love, lewd or otherwise, on the new album.

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion may have defended Jonathan Wright this time around, but she’s not as forgiving of others in her circle. She and her team want a lawsuit against her from a former photographer dismissed. That’s been another pretty contentious topic online concerning Meg, and one that’s still an unanswered question. We’ll see whether there’s another chapter to that saga.

Tyga Looks Unbothered In Cannes After Travis Scott Brawl

This morning, Travis Scott and Tyga went viral due to footage that surfaced online of a huge brawl and reports that the two of them went at it in Cannes. At the time, it was unclear exactly who was involved in the fight, why it started, and how. Luckily, more info about the incident was later uncovered, revealing that it all started when Richie Akiva tried to give them both a shoutout at his party.

“We got T-Raww, AE and Travis in the building,” he said, according to reports. Things went south from there, with Travis smashing the mic and storming out of the DJ booth. Alexander “AE” Edwards, a close friend of Tyga’s, then tried to calm Travis down. His attempt was unsuccessful, however, and Travis left and came back with Southside. This is when things really popped off, as Southside and AE began to fight, with Travis also getting involved and scrapping with AE. Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured, though it’s still uncertain why Travis got so upset.

Reportedly, Tyga stayed behind the DJ booth throughout the scuffle, and he and AE stuck around at the event until the wee hours of the morning. As for Travis and Southside, they’re said to have returned to their cars shortly after the incident. Now, Tyga has provided fans with an update on his current whereabouts on his Instagram Story, making it clear that he’s doing just fine.

In a new clip, he’s seen cruising around on a boat in Cannes, looking unfazed by the viral debacle. Fans are glad that he isn’t hurt, though they’re still demanding additional details of the brawl. Kelly Rowland got into a heated argument with a security guard at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday in southern France. She was walking the red carpet for a screening of the film, Marcello Mio, while rocking a blonde bob and a bright red dress when the incident went down.

Just moments before, paparazzi photographed her smiling and waving, appearing to be in good spirits. At one point, however, things turned sour while making her way up a set of stairs. She attempted to stop and wave to fans as a female security guard put her arm on her from behind and attempting to motion her forwards. The two then exchanged words with Rowland pointing at her face.

It’s unclear exactly what caused Rowland to become upset as she has not commented on the incident since. It comes three months after Page Six reported that the former Destiny’s Child singer walked off the Today show set because she felt her dressing room was not “up to par.”

It’s no secret that the Island Boys’ wild antics oftentimes lead to backlash, but recently, they almost got one of them into serious trouble. In a new clip making its rounds online, Kodiyakredd is seen standing in a jewelry store, with none other than Sauce Walka browsing nearby. They began to argue about which of the two of them had more money and eventually started to exchange insults.

“I’m a millionaire. You’re not a millionaire, bro,” Sauce Walka told the Island Boy. “Bro, I’m way more known,” he responded. The situation only escalated from there, though Kodiyakredd didn’t say much, insisting that he wasn’t willing to argue with the rapper. “Your jewelry’s fake, you’re a p***y, and I will slap you,” Sauce Walka said. “Stop talking to me.” Fortunately, some security guards were around to intervene before things got too out of hand. At the time of writing, it remains unclear exactly what prompted the argument.

It looks as if the two of them are still on bad terms, as they both took to Houston Closet’s Instagram comments section to throw some final jabs. “[Lollipop emoji] Boy,” Sauce Walka wrote. Kodiyakredd later chimed in with, “He did sho the part where I came out running and threw plants on Sauce.” This isn’t the first time the Island Boys have found themselves in a disagreement that almost turned physical, however.

Yesterday, footage of Jim Jones getting into a physical altercation with two men at an airport surfaced online, and it’s since gone viral. The clip shows Jones standing on an escalator when things take a turn for the worse. A man is seen lunging towards him, sending them both flying down the escalator and taking out a seemingly innocent bystander. Once they reached the bottom, another man appeared to jump in. He threw a few punches before airport security got involved and broke it up. It remains unclear what prompted the brawl.

In the footage, Jones is heard telling onlookers that the men were “jumping” him, and emphasizing that it was two against one. He maintained a similar sentiment in a chat with TMZ shortly after the incident. “I was minding my business and defended myself,” he told the outlet. “They got what they were looking for.”

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Has No Remorse Following Heated Paris Nightclub Incident: “Never Runnin From A N****”

Earlier today, a video involving A Boogie Wit da Hoodie and bouncers outside of a Paris nightclub went quite viral. The clip surfaced on TikTok from a bystander who witnessed the entire thing play out. Following a Better Off Alone global tour performance, A Boogie went to celebrate the show at a local club. However, due to him ilegally drinking a whole bottle of alcohol in public, he was not allowed to enter. But instead of leaving the premises, A Boogie decided to try and re-enter the Paris nightclub and that attempt was futile.

At this point, A Boogie forced the bouncers’ hands, and they started pushing back the rapper and his boys. In fact, one of them even grabbed a pole, while another staff member whipped out mace, spraying it in their direction. Later on in the video, A Boogie wound up grabbing his bottle back, breaking it, using it for defense. So far, no charges have been made, but we would not be surprised if things got that far.
