Chris Brown downplayed the seriousness of an altercation that took place at the Lovers & Friends Festival in a comment posted to Instagram, Sunday. The statement comes in response to a clip of Brown in a heated exchange backstage. He didn’t, however, comment on the reported incident with Usher that took place at his birthday party, last week.

“Yall been geeked all weekend, y’all dragging it now,” Brown wrote, as caught by TheShadeRoom. “It was mad people backstage and security was trying to clear everyone off the stage. People started pushing back.. I INTERVENED To let them know MY CHILD WAS BACK THERE. So y’all can keep ya narrative.” The incident reportedly took place during Missy Elliott’s set on Saturday night.

“This should tell him and his air headed BM not to bring the son to every show,” one fan commented in response. “He’s been to every show with the BM. It’s ok to stay home someomtime [sic].” Another noted that Brown didn’t mention the alleged Usher fight: “My boy commented on this quick but left out the usher situation so yeah it happened.”

As for the incident with Usher, TMZ initially reported that the two got into a fight over Teyana Taylor. Brown was apparently unhappy about last year’s scrapped AMAs performance. Sources tell the outlet that the planning of that performance was partially handled by Taylor. It was believed that Usher’s nose and face were banged up in the fight; however, he appeared unharmed during his Lovers & Friends set the following night. Neither of the two has addressed the reports publically, but both went ahead with their performances on Sunday. With a newly surfaced video from the Lovers & Friends Festival, the story around Chris Brown keeps getting juicier. Moreover, someone filmed the R&B singer almost getting into a fight with an unknown party, exchanging harsh words with a wall of security between them. It’s unclear what prompted the verbal altercation, or if it devolved into anything physical. What we do see is a gaggle of people around him and security trying to diffuse the situation, and not much is intelligible. Given rampant rumors that he and his crew jumped Usher at Brown’s birthday party, many believe that something went down relating to that.

To theorize, perhaps Chris Brown was getting heated over people accusing him of attacking Usher just a day before the festival. Antonio Brown is staying at the top of the headlines this week. Earlier this week, Brown discussed his final appearance in the NFL. A game that saw the former Pro Bowler take off his pads and leave the sidelines early. Brown claimed that there were many variables that went into his decision to quit in the middle of the game. However, over the weekend, it seems Brown found himself in another sticky situation. According to TMZ, Brown was seen in a heated debate with a security guard during a National Arena League game.

The incident began when Brown made his way onto the field during the Albany Empire’s opening game. Brown was asked to leave the field by security. However, the former Steelers receiver didn’t seem to like the decision made by security. In video clips, Brown is seen becoming aggravated with security asking him to leave the field. Toosii Films Police Run-In, Claims They Pulled A Gun On Him

Toosii recently had a scary run-in with the police that he filmed in the aftermath, and he claimed that they pulled a gun on him. Moreover, apparently the police saw his gun fall out of his car and saw him reach for it. This prompted them to shout “Gun, gun, gun!” and take hold of their firearms, which is never a safe or secure situation to be in. After all, there have been so many fatal misunderstandings with police that it must’ve been incredibly nerve-wracking. Nevertheless, the rapper and singer then filmed the aftermath of the incident, arguing with several of the police officers that saw him.

In the video clip, you can see one police officer maintain a blank expression as Toosii argues with him. Not only that, but the officers maintained that they weren’t the ones to scream “Gun!” in the incident. From what it looks like, this might’ve been part of something like a traffic stop, because they speak of a ticket later on. However, what highlights the clip is the “Favorite Song” singer’s shock at the fact they pulled a gun on him as well.

Toosii Has Police Encounter Involving Gun, Caught On Video

While this interaction could’ve gone south fast, fortunately it seems like nobody involved in the incident was hurt. Toosii’s outspoken demeanor and steadfast conviction in the clip fall in line with recent actions, and that’s a good thing. Most recently, he defended the LGBTQIA+ community in a late-night Instagram post. “I get on the internet everyday and see us attacking us,” Toosii tweeted before his IG post. “S**t getting overrated [one-hundred emoji].”

“It is what it is at the end of the day,” he expressed via Instagram. “If being straight [is] not an insult, why is being gay an insult? You’re trying to use calling a person gay as an insult. Them is the motherf***ers that really need to be attacked, feel me?”. Later on, he clarified his own sexuality and said that the comments were lame for attacking him.
