Soulja Boy’s 7 Biggest Beefs

Soulja Boy is known for being combative, so it’s no surprise he has been involved in several beefs with other rappers. Recently, Soulja Boy was in the news again over a beef. This time, the “Crank That” crooner sparred with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage. The feud was entirely avoidable and was triggered by a 12-year-old tweet from Metro. In the tweet, a teenage Metro wrote, “My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy. Yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats. Sit down.” Soulja Boy found out about the tweet and asked Metro to delete it. However, 21 Savage got involved and asked what would happen if Metro failed to delete the tweet.

21 Savage’s response infuriated Soulja Boy, who challenged the rapper and Metro to a boxing fight. Soulja Boy also dissed Metro Boomin’s late mom several times, sparking criticism from fans. Following the criticisms, Soulja surprisingly apologized to Metro Boomin via a tweet. He wrote, “I apologize to @MetroBoomin for over reacting over an old tweet. Condolences to his mom. I’m going to seek therapy and anger management. I’m done responding to hate, new or old. 💯🙏🏾.” With Soulja Boy’s latest move and vow to seek therapy and not respond to hate anymore, one cannot but look at his past feuds. Soulja Boy has a long list of beefs to his name but here are seven of the biggest he’s been involved in.

7. Soulja Boy Vs. Chris Brown

Soulja Boy and Chris Brown’s beef began in January 2017 after the former liked a post from Karrueche Tran, Chris’s ex-girlfriend. Chris reportedly threatened Soulja Boy over the post, causing the latter to launch a verbal attack on him. In a tweet, Soulja Boy cited Chris’s 2009 assault against his then-girlfriend, Rihanna. However, Soulja Boy and Chris Brown’s spat progressed from online slingshots to a boxing fight. Former heavyweight boxing champion Floyd Mayweather organized a pay-per-view boxing match between the feuding musicians. Chris and Soulja Boy continued their war of words and didn’t hold back from hurling expletives at each other.

Later, Soulja Boy challenged Chris to a street fight in Compton. True to his words, he arrived there for the fight and went live on Instagram with a group of guys surrounding him. However, things turned sour when some of the group members attacked and reportedly robbed Soulja. With the situation escalating further, Soulja called on Floyd Mayweather to train him for his boxing fight with Chris, who was also hyped up about the matchup. However, the fight never happened with Soulja later revealing that he and Chris resolved their issues after speaking about it.

6. Soulja Boy Beefs With 50 Cent

Besides being one of the greatest rappers alive, 50 Cent is famous for his hilarious memes. The G-Unit boss loves having fun with whoever he chooses and got in on Soulja Boy and Chris Brown’s beef, urging them to hit the ring and fight each other. When Soulja Boy looked as though he was quitting his beef with Chris Brown, 50 Cent didn’t want that to happen. Then, Soulja Boy shared a video where he apologized for his erratic behavior and revealed his mom was hospitalized. However, 50 Cent didn’t like the apology and shared several memes urging Soulja Boy to go ahead with the fight. 50 also revealed his plans to make money off the boxing fight, writing, “They’re talking about this s**t, right?” “Get Soulja Boy on the phone! Tell that n***a I said stop apologizing, get the draco out! We got to keep this s**t going!”

After Soulja reportedly got robbed at Compton, 50 Cent went ahead to troll him again. This time, he said, “Soulja Boy just got Robbed in LA, don’t worry ya big homie Floyd can buy you another chain. But you bet not call POLICE little man. #thefightstillon LMAO.” In another post, 50 Cent also said Soulja Boy shouldn’t cancel the fight as he had no choice but to go ahead with it. Soulja Boy responded to 50 Cent via a now-deleted IG post he captioned, “Rob who take what somebody tell Curtis Jackson shut the f**k up.” He also released the diss track “Hit Em With The Draco,” in which he hurled shots at 50 and Chris Brown. Eventually, Soulja Boy and 50 Cent’s spat never got too serious and died down after his fight with Chris failed to materialize.

5. Soulja Boy Beef With Lil Yachty

Lil Yachty and Soulja Boy’s beef started over a girl. It began on Oct. 28, 2016, after Soulja Boy posted screenshots of text exchange between himself and Yachty. In the chat, Yachty asked Soulja to remove a picture of himself and model India Love from social media. However, rather than take down the photo, Soulja went on a social media rampage, threatening Yachty. Also, he posted more pictures of himself and India and text messages from her in which she claimed to have never met Yachty.

Yachty responded by tweeting, “Im not for beefing over no female…all Ima say is…f***in wit da boat you gone sink. Period.” Yachty continued his offensive during his performance at Mala Luna Festival in San Antonio. He wore a shirt with the inscription, “Pray 4 Soulja Boy R.I.P. 2007–2016.” He also rapped, “F**k Soulja Boy, you a bitch ass n***a / Lil Boat came in with a hundred n****s / F***in’ on your bitch / I know that you mad.

Later, Soulja Boy claimed Yachty cried over the phone to him pleading for their beef to come to an end. However, Yachty quashed those claims and leaked a phone call between himself and Soulja in which the latter was apologizing to him. Incredibly, Soulja shared a video not too long after showing him calling off the beef with Yachty. Also, Soulja claimed the whole beef began because he ran out of weed. He said, “Lil Yachty, man, you know I love you, bruh. You know how Big Soulja start tweakin’ when he ain’t got no weed.” During an interview with Shay Diddy on 106.1 KMEL, Yachty insinuated that Soulja Boy used the beef for clout as it shouldn’t have blown up the way it did.

4. Soulja Boy Beef With Ice-T

The beef between Soulja Boy and Ice-T began after Ice-T’s Black Urban Legends mixtape was released in 2008. The mixtape’s intro contained an attack on Soulja from Ice-T. Ice-T said, “Fuck Soulja Boy, eat a d**k. Soulja Boy, I know you are young enough to be my kid but you single-handedly killed hip-hop, man. That shit is such garbage. We came all the way from Rakim, we came all the way from Das EFX, we came all the way from motherfuckers flowing like Big Daddy Kane and Ice Cube, and you come with that Superman shit?” Ice-T’s infamous diatribes soon found its way to the internet and reached Soulja Boy. Unsurprisingly, the then-17-year-old Soulja Boy responded in kind via a video where he trashed Ice-T’s legacy. He called Ice-T an old man and the “forefather of my nuts,” among many other labels while his friends laughed in the background.

The Ice-T and Soulja Boy beef is one of the former’s regrets. During an interview with Ebro in 2022, the Law & Order: SVU actor revealed how the beef originated. Ice-T shared that the associates he was making the Black Urban Legends mixtape for got him agitated by telling him people would rather listen to Soulja Boy and Hurricane Chris than listen to him. This caused Ice-T to get angry and say what he said. However, he never knew the associates would put his rant as the mixtape’s intro, starting the beef. The beef has since cooled and Soulja Boy reflected on it during a 2022 interview with HotNewHipHop. The “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” rapper said Ice-T was confused at the time and “didn’t know he was looking at the future in his eyes.” Soulja also said the beef thought him to always stay in tune with youth culture.

3. Soulja Boy & Kanye West Beef

Kanye West and Soulja Boy went back and forth with each other on social media in February 2022. Their spat began after Soulja complained about Ye removing his verse on the song, “Remote Control,” from his Donda album. Soulja shared images of text messages between him and Ye. The text messages showed that Ye approved Soulja’s verse and agreed it would be on the song. However, that didn’t happen eventually, infuriating Soulja, who tweeted, “Idk how to feel, Kanye sent me that song ‘remote control’ and I don’t hear my verse on it. Hmm f**k that n***a.” He also wrote, “This n***a Kanye smh. Tell homie don’t hit my phone anymore.”

Afterward, Soulja posted a video on Instagram depicting Kanye losing his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, to comedian Pete Davidson. Soulja said, “Kanye, wake up. Skete got yo b***h n***a, whatchu gon do? Is you gon keep posting memes of Marvel vs. Capcom or you gon lay smackdown?” He added, “That’s what the f**k you get n***a! N***a tried to play me. N***a, you know who the f**k I am? I’m Big Draco and now you running around Hollywood crying like a b***h.”

Eventually, Kanye and Soulja Boy settled their beef. Soulja shared a screenshot of a text Kanye sent to him warning him not to talk about him or his wife again. Kanye’s text read, “This Ye. Don’t bring up me or my no more.” Afterward, Soulja revealed he and Kanye had settled their rift. Kanye also shared a screenshot of a message he sent to Soulja Boy. In the text, Kanye apologized for removing Soulja’s verse from the song, to which the latter replied, “Love you too bro. That’s all I wanted.”

2. Soulja Boy & Drake Beef

Drake and Soulja Boy’s beef is probably the funniest among all Draco’s beefs due to the unforgettable meme that emerged from it. It all began in January 2019 when Soulja appeared on The Breakfast Club for an interview with hosts DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Angela Yee. During the interview, Soulja asked why Meek Mill had a bigger comeback than he did. Charlamagne Tha God responded by suggesting that Meek Mill’s success could be due to his beef with Drake. Soulja Boy was then told that Drake was the biggest rapper in the world, which caused him to get up from his chair to vent his annoyance. He then went into a full-blown rant that quickly became a meme.

Soulja screamed, “Draaaaaaake? Draaaaaaaaake? The n***a that got bodied by Pusha T? The n***a that hiding his kid from the world, but his world want to hide from the kid? Aubrey Graham in a wheelchair? Draaaaaake? Y’all n***as better stop playing with me man. Y’all talking about the lightskin ni**a from Degrassi?” Afterward, Soulja claimed he taught Drake everything he knew. He said, “”Stop playing with me. Stop playing me like I ain’t teach Drake everything he know. Y’all ain’t hear Drake on his first song?”

Soulja proceeded to sing a line from Drake’s 2010 song, “Miss Me,” from his debut album, Thank Me Later. He claimed Drake stole the song’s first bars from his 2007 song, “What’s Hannenin.” He claimed, “”That’s Soulja! That’s my bar. He copied my whole f**king flow. He copied my whole f**king flow. Word for word. Bar for bar. Don’t act like I didn’t make Drake, ni**a.” During an interview with XXL, Soulja also questioned why Drake never invited him on tour to perform their 2013 collaboration, “We Made It.” He also wondered why Drake never shot a video for the song.

Drake and Soulja eventually settled their beef. The 6 God got tagged to a video of Soulja Boy shopping from his OVO store in Los Angeles in February 2019. He then sent messages to Soulja, which the latter posted on X, formerly Twitter. In the message, Drake wrote, “You know it’s always been love all jokes aside. I dunno if you was serious about the video thing but I never knew you wanted to do a video for we made it you know I would have done that shit…” Drake then acknowledged Soulja’s hilarious meme from his interview on The Breakfast Club, writing, “but on some real shit…Draaaaaaaaaaaaake?!?! kill that show.”

1. Soulja Boy Vs. Bow Wow Beef

Soulja Boy and Bow Wow are now friends, but they have endured some low points in their friendship. The duo has toured together, collaborated on several songs, and also has a joint mixtape. However, at their worst, the pair engaged in heated exchanges online. The sour point in their friendship came after Soulja Boy dissed Nas in an eight-minute video in December 2008, declaring that the iconic rapper killed hip-hop due to his 2006 single, “Hip-Hop Is Dead.” However, Bow Wow, who idolizes Nas, released a freestyle over Jay-Z’s “Friend or Foe.” In the track, he responded to Soulja’s Nas diss, saying, “I’d never disrespect Nas, I’m not Soulja Boy.”

Bow Wow’s line fueled a back-and-forth with Soulja, who responded by uploading a video of himself in a new white Lamborghini. He then challenged Bow Wow to a race in their Lamborghinis. He vowed, “If I lose to you, I’ll give my pink slip to you. You can have that motherfucker.” Bow Wow responded two days later with a video of him driving his orange Lamborghini through a garage. He trolled Soulja Boy for driving a poor man’s Lamborghini and using plastic rims, among other shades. Days later, Soulja released a video claiming Bow Wow rented the Lamborghini he was driving. He also released a diss track titled “F**k Bow Wow,” in which he called the latter several derogatory names.

Bow Wow responded to Soulja’s diss track with a video in which he dissed his career, saying, “The only reason you’re in the game is because of me.” He followed that up with a diss track titled “What I Think About You” in which he rapped that Soulja’s career was dead. The pair kept going at each other in 2009 but things quietened afterward. Much wasn’t heard about the pair’s beef for many years until September 2016, when Soulja Boy appeared in an interview on Say Cheese! During the interview, he revealed that he and Bow Wow were no longer feuding but were now friends. He said their beef was due to them being young and in different mind spaces.

Soulja Boy added, “We straight now. That Shit crazy. That’s like one of my best home boys. I was just in his crib like two days ago. I’m telling you, once years go by, you get some experience in this industry. You get you some real money, you get off of that shit.” Soulja and Bow Wow proved they were truly reconciled with the release of their joint tape Ignorant Shit. After Soulja called out Drake for not crediting his influence, Bow Wow appeared in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked: Uncensored and credited Soulja for being among the top artists who changed hip-hop. Bow Wow added that Soulja Boy was the “first big digital internet sensation that we saw.”

Bow Wow and Soulja Boy seemed to be feuding again in May 2021 after rumors of them facing off in a Verzuz battle emerged. However, Soulja clarified that it was all love between them. It was eventually confirmed that the rappers would face off in the rap battle, and they hyped up the event on social media and engaged in playful jabs with each other. The Verzuz battle was held on June 26, 2021, in Los Angeles. It was a memorable event, with both rappers engaging in friendly competition and eventually shutting the place down.

King Combs Disses 50 Cent: “Pick A Side” Lyrics, Explained

Hip-hop is clearly in a state of chaos at the moment, as multiple artists have been engaging in even more ruthless mudslinging and heavy-handed beef than usual. In the wake of Kendrick Lamar’s brutal rap feud with Drake, Diddy’s son King Combs has released a diss of his own, aimed at 50 Cent. The track, titled “Pick A Side,” makes explicit references to the recent raids conducted on Diddy’s residences by federal agents, which 50 has been mercilessly mocking on social media.

The song has also brought up a lot of questions and concerns from hip-hop fans, especially with 50 Cent dragging King Combs’ personal dirt into the light following the release. Let’s take a look at some of the bars on the latest diss record, and dissect King Combs’ perspective on 50 Cent. Here’s everything you should know about King Combs’ “Pick A Side.”

The Track Opens With Some Nursery Rhyme Taunts

Despite the very serious subject matter of “Pick A Side,” King Combs opens the record with a sing-song tune interpolating the rhythm of the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” before launching a verbal assault upon 50 Cent. The opening lyrics state “They preying on our downfall another time again/ After the rainfall the sun gon’ shine again/ Don’t bust no U-turns cause we ain’t forgetting s***/ And to all y’all that switch, suck my d***.”

Clearly, King intends to use this cutesy tune to represent something of a calm before the storm, offering a humorous jab at detractors of his music mogul father. From here, King dives right in, with a banging club beat, complete with brass stabs and menacing high hats. The true opening lyrics to the song see King Combs taking on something of a New York drill-inspired flow, reminiscent of prominent figures in the modern rap landscape such as Pop Smoke or Ice Spice.

King Is Not Here For The “No Diddy” Jokes

If you’ve spent any time on social media in the last few weeks, you’re likely already familiar with the running gag of people saying “No Diddy.” This joke refers to the Bad Boy founder’s ongoing legal drama, which suggests he may have had inappropriate sexual conduct with several men. Fans have also harassed Meek Mill online, spreading rumors that he and Diddy engaged in covert homosexual acts.

For King Combs, this disrespect will not be tolerated, as the young artist raps “I dare one of you n****s scream out no Diddy/ Come blow with me” as the backing ad-libs shout “F*** that n**** up!” From there, Combs spends a few bars describing his sexual exploits with very attractive women, providing his hetero accolades to any potential listeners. Later in the track, King expresses direct aggravation with anyone who “plays with n****s names and all that” and says that it is officially war time.

King Combs References 50 Cent’s Greatest Record

Transitioning his verse into a direct attack, King Combs argues that Diddy has had more influence on the New York rap scene than 50 Cent. After name-dropping the rapper turned television producer, Combs states “Possibly hated on by many men and n**** that’s fine/ They gon’ try to stop these Eminems, and they gon’ die trying.” Here, King Combs references 50 Cent’s hit single “Many Men” off his Shady Records debut Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, and flips Eminem’s name to reference M’s, meaning millions of dollars.

Combs Might Have Accidentally Dry-Snitched On His Dad

Arguably the biggest highlight of “Pick A Side” comes toward the back end, as King seemingly gives away crucial information to the feds. While arguing that 50 Cent’s obsession with Diddy comes from jealousy, financial insecurity, or a fear that the Combs crew may have stolen 50’s girl, King references the recent federal raids on his dad’s properties, rapping, “Knock them walls down like when them feddy boys run in both our cribs/ Too bad they ain’t know we bought the one next door ’cause that’s the one they missed.” King continues to explain that his father was “On the G6 getting a line-up” during the time when the raids took place.

50 Cent responded to these bars in particular in a now-deleted Instagram post, stating “Now why would you say some like this when you know the FEDS are investigating. IS YOU STUPID OR IS YOU DUMB? LOL.” In true 50 Cent fashion, the “Many Men” rapper then upped the score by bringing King Combs’ sexual assault lawsuit to light, posting “I really don’t understand why they want to drug women, if she can’t remember how good it was the next morning How do you connect ?” King was accused of sexual assault just a month ago, by a woman named Grace O’Marcaigh.

Meek Mill Explains His Recent Defense Of King Combs

Meek Mill has been caught up in a tailspin of drama recently. The rapper was swept into the lawsuits surrounding Diddy when he was included in a controversial viral filing by producer Lil Rod back in February. Though he seemingly has no involvement in the more serious parts of Diddy’s recent drama like the federal raid on his properties, that hasn’t stopped people from associating him with anything that happens to the rap mogul. That’s how he arrived in the sights of one of the definitive trolls in rap music, 50 Cent.

50 had been attacking Diddy on a near daily basis for months by the time Meek became involved. While he took some shots at Meek when the lawsuit news first dropped things seemed to calm down for a few months. That was, at least, until earlier this month when 50 started going at Meek harder than ever before. 50 came after Meek for both his association with Diddy and the poor sales of his EP that dropped earlier this year. That created a web of beef as the two MCs went back and forth on social media. It eventually resulted in Meek coming to the defense of another person 50 takes issue with, King Combs. Check out what he has to say about that defense now.

Meek Mill On Sticking Up For King Combs

Meek took to Twitter to respond to a blog post on his defense of King Combs. “Ebro would say it in person or via anything that’s how we built respect without no violence or shouting bro it’s not aggressive … basically saying mind my while minding business.. 50 just post my son a week ago that day I felt like saying something” his response reads. Fan responses to it varied with some having trouble breaking down precisely what he was claiming.

What do you think of Meek Mill’s response to his own defense of King Combs in their joint beef with 50 Cent? Do you think Meek will eventually bounce back from the recent online hate against him? Let us know in the comment section below.

The year of the rap feuds keeps giving. Fans are still not over Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s beef, and now it seems Meek Mill and 50 Cent are on the brink of renewing their own clash. March 2024: Meek Mill Named In Diddy Lawsuit

Meek Mill found himself mentioned in a high-profile lawsuit filed by producer Lil Rod against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. This sparked rumors about a possible sexual relationship between Meek and Diddy. Soon after, comedian Andrew Schulz made a joke about Meek Mill’s sexual orientation during a stand-up routine. 50 Cent wasted no time trolling Meek Mill amidst the chaos. He subsequently shared a clip of Schulz’s joke on his Instagram account. He captioned the post: “This guy is funny as hell, @andrewschulz, check him out. This wasn’t even the best of his set. Some people just got it! @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.”

Meek then responded with a tweet on X. He wrote: “The first time I laughed at being gay. But don’t wit me in real life—I may swing, lol.” Despite the situation appearing to be under control, Meek Mill frequently had to defend himself against persistent rumors about his sexuality. He also faced another controversial issue when he was accused of following a gay porn account on X. Meek vehemently denied these allegations, suggesting it was part of a smear campaign against him. After this, things seemed to cool off… until May.

May 12, 2024: The King Combs Diss Track

On May 12, King Combs, Diddy’s son, released a song called “Pick A Side,” targeting his father’s critics. In the track, he specifically called out 50 Cent for mocking his father and the Combs family amid the various allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking. 50 Cent swiftly trolled the track by sharing images of the alleged victim’s injuries on Instagram. Meek Mill, however, criticized 50 Cent’s reaction, accusing him of feuding with a child.

In a series of now-deleted tweets, he expressed his disapproval. “Because your federal the street n***as in queens know that’s why you tryna pick on a lil boy,” he began. “Your own son hate your guts lol I’m so grateful to be on an island with my son and his friends on his bday… Ya’ll niggas, 50 online beefing with kids…” According to HipHopDX, Meek concluded his rant by labeling 50 Cent as “mentally sick” and “a rich parasite.”

May 13, 2024: Is The Beef Over?

In typical fashion, 50 Cent responded, mocking Meek Mill’s low album sales and sexual orientation allegations. He captioned the post: “You sold 6k copies your last project, you should not be on vacation. Still chasing the dream or embracing the nightmare. Standing by your man, that I respect!”

In his response tweet, Meek deflected the allegations that his latest project was a flop. He wrote: “My last project sold 90k first week expensive pain …Ross did that last cd for fun to let me out my contact cause we rich and have some type of history! It’s different lol i don’t even know how Cuban was talking to you ya swag is extremely wack!”

Sadly, it seems his response didn’t hit as hard as he hoped it would. Furthermore, 50 Cent wasted no time to respond, putting an end to his side of the beef. He posted a video of Meek Mill and Diddy at a party, and captioned it: “I commend you for being a strong supportive woman for your man meek, stay by his side and together you guys may have a good life. GOD BLESS!”

Ja Rule Clowns 50 Cent As Timberwolves Lose 3-Straight To The Nuggets

It’s unlikely that 50 Cent and Ja Rule’s hostility will ever disappear. The two NYC rappers have been at odds for 25 years with several different chapters of their beef. The rival’s latest battle is about the NBA playoffs. Last week, 50 Cent joked about Ja Rule cursing the New York Knicks after a video of Ja and the Larry O’Brien trophy went viral. Knicks players started dropping like flies, and 50 Cnet agreed with fans saying Ja cursed the Knicks. Now Ja Rule has fired some shots back at 50 Cent after the Timberwolves have dropped three straight to the Denver Nuggets.

50 Cent tweeted on May 9th, “Oh s### [eyes emoji] don’t bet on the Knicks to win this next game. This janky ass [ninja emoji] put his juju all on the team. F### that I’m bet my money on the [Minnesota Timberwolves]!” He also reposted fans asking Ja Rule to keep his Knicks support secret after cursing the team. 50 Cent, who has a partner shop with the Minnesota Timberwolves, was targeted by Ja in retaliation after the 50’s bandwagon team continued to lose the games.

Ja Rule Calls Out 50 Cent After Timberwolves Latest Loss

Ja Rule answered 50’s insults on Wednesday morning. The rapper brought up the fact that the Timberwolves had fallen short against the Denver Nuggets in three straight games. “The Wolves haven’t won since this tweet!!! 50 you f###### MUSH. Ant-Man [Anthony Edwards] stay away from this goofy, he a fed anyway… [rolling on the floor laughing emoji] [orange heart emoji] [blue heart emoji],” Ja Rule tweeted. The 50-Ja beef will never end. Now, they are using NBA teams to throw shots at each other.

In the Western Conference Semifinals, the Denver Nuggets now have a three-game lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves. In the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Ja Rule and 50 Cent’s local team, the New York Knicks, led the Indiana Pacers 3-2. Overall, the Timberwolves and the Knicks being proxies in the 25-year-long feud between 50 and Ja is pretty funny. Let’s see whose team ends up surviving to the next round so we can see who is really cursing who.

Meek Mill Escalates 50 Cent Feud By Taking Shots At The Rapper’s Girlfriend

With the spirit of rap beef in the air in 2024, Meek Mill and 50 Cent have picked a fight with each other. It began after months of 50 attacking Diddy online. The attacks were over the various lawsuits filed against him alleging decades of abusive behavior. Meek came into the equation back in February. That’s when he was mentioned in producer Lil Rod’s lawsuit against the rap mogul. 50 re-sparked their hostility earlier this week with a post taking aim at Meek’s low record sales. Earlier this year, Meek dropped an EP that didn’t get much attention and 50 claimed that he should be working on getting his numbers back up rather than being on vacation.

Meek quickly responded, taking to Twitter in an attempt to explain why the project didn’t perform well. That turned out to be just the start of a series of posts he made in self-defense. “I never seen Black people laugh at Black people getting indicted… he really be online enhancing people’s cases… and he got real statements against n*ggas… You ain’t feed Mike Knox yet… everybody on to you!” one follow-up tweet reads. ““But let me stop… These the n*ggas y’all look up to… these people that destroy Black famines [sic] and success like bad cops” yet another tweet begins. Check out just some of what Meek had to say in response to 50’s allegations below.

Meek Mill Claps Back At 50 Cent Once Again

Meek has found himself under attack by many rap fans in recent months. The reaosns are pretty similar to 50. Largely spawning from his recent EP’s poor commercial performance and his association with Diddy. Before 50’s post, Meek was already online trying to defend his importance to hip hop. He felt the need to in the face of months of what he saw as disrespect.

What do you think of Meek Mill’s responses to 50 calling him out over his association with Diddy and recent low album sales? Do you think Meek did a good job defending himself and clapping back at 50? Let us know in the comment section below.

Meek Mill Calls DJ Akademiks A “Rapist Type” In Explosive X Rant

Meek Mill continues to make headlines for everything but music. The Philadelphia rapper spent most of May 13 arguing with other artists on X (formerly Twitter). He was on the losing side of most of them. He exchanged words with 50 Cent, arguably the genre’s greatest troll. 50 clowned Meek for the low sales of his last album and for being friends with Rick Ross. Then Soulja Boy came out of the blue and went at the rapper for his questionable relationship with Diddy. Meek’s frustration culminated in an unexpected way, as he then turned around and insulted DJ Akademiks. Yeah, bizarre.

In a since-deleted tweet, Meek Mill absolutely laid into Akademiks for exploiting hip-hop culture. “I been told him stop posting me they business flow when they speak only on the culture,” the rapper explained. He then went about insulting Ak in a very odd and specific manner. “They all post bad about me because I don’t pay non of them,” he added. “That’s why they have Akademiks a rapist type couch potatoe [sic] controlling the narrative on the biggest battles to keep track.” He didn’t claim Ak was a rapist, but then described him as a “rapist type,” which is not much better.

Meek Mill Previously Blocked Akademiks On X

This is not the first time Meek Mill and DJ Akademiks have had beef. The disdain is mutual. In March 2024, Akademiks called the rapper out for promoting a positive lifestyle while attempting to talk tough on social media. “Meek Mill think he can be a Activist in the daytime… and Villain at night,” he wrote. “N**ga must think Philly is Gotham City.” Meek responded by blocking the internet personality and making fun of him while he did it. “Ima show yall how you hurt computer geeks just the ‘block button’ I’m still shooting a vid in front of your house,” he quote-tweeted. “I’m still coming I only wanna hear from you in person lol.”

Akademiks went on to claim that he won his squabble against the rapper because he got blocked, so the bit didn’t have the bite Meek wanted. Based on the recent string of tweets, however, the block didn’t last very long. Akademiks has been a source of criticism for many rappers, and what Meek had to say about his tendency to exploit drama is valid. Where he lost most fans, and where he usually loses fans, is when he took things too far by saying something uncalled for. It’s telling that Meek deleted the “rapist type” tweet almost immediately. Even he knew it was a bad look.

King Combs Disses 50 Cent in New Track, 50 Responds with Series of Trolls

After the federal authorities ran through Diddy's homes, Christian, known professionally as King Combs, was spotted in an intimate moment with his girlfriend on Instagram.

King Combs must be inspired by all the beef in Hip-Hop. He hopped out on the beef streets, passing a track to Akademiks that targeted 50 Cent—yes, the same 50 Cent who has terrorized beef for years.

After sending a message to anyone saying “No Diddy,” he then attacks 50 Cent. You can hear it below.

…and then 50 cent let off the Instagram shots, writing, ” I’m afraid for my life, please don’t hurt me guys. I never mentioned or posted anything about puffy’s kids 😳because KEEFE D said he killed 2Pac 🤷🏽‍♂️ LOL”

You can see the barrage of responses from 50 Cent below.

50 Cent Clowns Ja Rule Over Allegedly Cursing The New York Knicks

Ja Rule is alleged to have cursed the New York Knicks chances of winning their first NBA Championship since 1973. Ja was heard saying, ‘Champions only, baby. Go Knicks!’ as he raised and kissed the prized Larry O’Brien trophy before the game. This act left Knicks supporters quite concerned. Fans speculated that Ja Rule’s curse might have affected the game, as players like Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby were injured despite the Knicks winning. The curse may have been real.

50 Cent has joined the group of enraged Knicks supporters who believe Ja Rule cursed the NBA franchise. Ja lifted the NBA Championship before the Knicks did, which is seen as unlucky, and 50, who needs no reason to take a jab at his old foe, took notice. People are obviously running with the idea that Ja cursed the Knicks, and the growing injury list for the New York team suggests they may be right. 50 Cent tweeted his roast of Ja Rule on Twitter, knowing that his longtime enemy may have cursed the New York Knicks.

50 Cent Trolls Ja Rule Over Cursing The Knicks

On social media, 50 Cent shared a video of Ja holding the Larry O’Brien trophy along with the caption, “Oh sh*t, don’t bet on the Knicks to win this next game.” 50 continued hilariously, saying, “This janky ass [ninja emoji] put his juju all on the team. Fuck that I’m bet my money on the wolves! LOL.” Knicks fans obviously gravitated to 50’s post, agreeing with the rapper and throwing more shade at Ja Rule. It’s an unfortunate turn of events for Ja Rule, who was just having some fun before the Knicks game. Now, unfortunately, he may get the blame if the Knocks don’t advance to the next round.

The Knicks are currently up 2-0 on the Indiana Pacers. Jalen Brunson, the Knicks superstar guard who has been carrying the team, suffered a foot injury in game two. He was able to return after missing the entire second quarter. Knicks defensive stopper OG Anunoby suffered a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter and has since been ruled out of game 3 in Indiana. The Knicks injury report continues to grow. Ultimately, Ja Rule better hope they close out the Pacers.

50 Cent Sued His Ex Daphne Joy For Defamation After She Accused Him Of Abuse And Rape

50 Cent didn’t appreciate being accused of rape and abuse by his ex Daphne Joy Narvaez, filing suit against her for defamation. The former couple shares a son, Sire, and in court documents 50 filed on Monday according to TMZ, he believes Narvaez made the accusations in order to prevent him from getting sole custody.

50 is notoriously litigious and petty, so it should come as no surprise that he is suing his ex, but according to the filings, he gave her “ample time” to retract her statements. They read, “Despite being given ample opportunity to retract a false and malicious retaliatory accusation, Ms. Narvaez has shamefully chosen to interfere with her 11-year-old son’s relationship with his loving father by falsely calling him a ‘rapist’.”

Naturally, he couldn’t resist getting a shot in at his beleaguered peer Diddy, jabbing, “The motivation behind this appears to be Ms. Narvaez’s unfortunate entanglement and misguided loyalty to Mr. Combs, who we believe to be underwriting this attack and whom Mr. Jackson has been warning Ms. Narvaez and others about for many years.”

50 had been in the midst of a weeks-long mocking of his business rival when Narvaez was mentioned in Lil Rod’s ongoing lawsuit against Diddy. Rod’s suit claimed that Daphne was on retainer with the embattled producer, prompting 50 to call her a “sex worker” in trolling social posts — which he has since deleted.

She responded with a laundry list of accusations, writing, “Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me,” and alleging that he never even sees Sire, despite her living a mile away. “You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on,” she wrote. “You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claims made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time.
