Karrahbooo Claims She’s Been “Silenced” Since Beefing With Lil Yachty
Karrahbooo is bigger than ever, though not for ideal reasons. The rapper decided to leave Concrete Boys, and despite things initially seeming cordial, the fallout has been messy. Secondhand accounts state that Karrahbooo was dissatisfied with Lil Yachty’s leadership. Yachty didn’t appreciate that, and proceeded to call out Karrahbooo on Instagram Live. Things died down after the IG Live blow up, but it looks like Karrahbooo is ready to put the past behind her.
The rapper hopped on Instagram Live on September 12. She clearly wanted to share more than she was saying, but she made it clear that there were two sides to her Lil Yachty feud. “There’s two sides of the story,” she asserted. “There’s truth and there’s cap.” Karrahbooo started to get into the specifics of the truth and cap, but she cut herself off. “I’ve been silenced,” she claimed. “Three months.” She doesn’t go into much detail about why she’s been silenced. One gets the sense that the silence is close to being broken, though. The fact that Karrahbooo said anything at all is ample proof.

Karrahbooo Thanked Fans For Their Continued Support
Karrahbooo went on IG Live earlier in the day and gave fans a more earnest side. She didn’t mention Yachty by name, but she thanked the fans for continuing to support her throughout the feud. “Thank y’all, for coming to my Live,” she stated. “Everything is fine, and I’m okay. Love y’all.” It’s the first time she has addressed the Lil Boat situation on video since the latter claimed to be her ghostwriter. Yachty even leaked the reference track for the On the Radar freestyle he said he wrote for Karrahbooo.
Karrahbooo challenged these claims with a written response via her own Instagram. She also made it clear that she didn’t want anything more to do with the rapper or the Concrete Boys. “Put it on yo kid I ain’t write these songs miles,” she wrote. “Stop bullying me big dawg I never said anything you letting random fans get in yo head man up.” Hopefully Karrahbooo’s Instagram Live is a sign of positive things to come for her career.

Eminem Returns With “The Death Of Slim Shady (Expanded Mourner’s Edition)”
Eminem couldn’t stay away. The rapper has made a habit of dropping deluxe versions of his albums after the dust has settled on the initial release. He basically dropped a whole other album when he put out the “Side B” collection for Music to Be Murdered By. The Expanded Mourner’s Edition of The Death of Slim Shady is a bit more streamlined, though. There are only five more tracks, and one of them is a skit with Steve Berman. Not much to say on the skit front. You know what Berman sounds like.
The rest of the songs on the Expanded Mourner’s Edition are fun. It’s fantastic to hear Eminem rap with Westside Boogie and Gun on “Fuel,” especially given the song’s propulsive beat. There’s a lot going on, but fans of dense bars are going to get their money’s worth. “Like My Sh*t” is a cool collaboration with FIFTEENAFTER, especially given how different the sounds of both artists are on paper. It doesn’t totally mesh together, but it’s still listenable. Much better is the 2 Chainz song “Kyrie & Luka.” Eminem and 2 Chainz may seem like another odd pairing, but they clearly have fun feeding off each other’s energy. We’d go as far as to call it the standout bonus track here.

Playboi Carti Makes A Triumphant Comeback With “All Red” Single
It’s actually here. Playboi Carti first teased “All Red” on April 5, 2023. It’s been performed live at Summer Smash Chicago, and leaked online in various forms. Carti likes to take his time, though, and it reached a point where fans questioned if they’d ever get an official release of the song. The wait is over, though. “All Red” has been released as the first single Playboi Carti’s upcoming album, MUSIC, and it’s a true pleasure to hear a CDQ, mastered version. The beat has the typical ferocious bounce of a rage-heavy Carti song. The guitar flourishes really pop amidst the driving drum pattern, but truthfully, the synths prove to be the most crucial ingredient.
Musically, at least. It should go without saying that Playboi Carti’s vocals are the real highlight on “All Red.” The single marks the official introduction of the rapper’s deeper-voiced register. Fans have spent so much time the “baby voice” Carti that it will definitely be jarring to hear him go in a different direction, and pull out a more menacing rap flow. It’s unmistakably Playboi Carti, but its bold and adventurous in ways that most other rappers wouldn’t attempt. There have been dozens of MUSIC leaks in the last few years, but it really does make a difference when Carti is actively dropping songs and presenting fans with a coherent vision. “All Red” is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where the rest of the album goes.

Today In Hip Hop History: PnB Rock Shot And Killed In Robbery At Roscoe’s Chicken And Waffles In L.A. 2 Years Ago
The Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles Restaurant on the corner of Main and Manchester in Los Angeles will forever be a landmark in Hip Hop because it is the place where a group of armed assailants shot and killed Philly rapper PnB Rock back in 2022.
A source inside the restaurant states PnB Rock was the target of a robbery. Los Angeles police captain Kelly Muniz spoke to The Los Angeles Times and stated Rock, born Rakim Allen, was shown a weapon by the suspect, who eventually took a shot.
Three people, including a father and son duo, were eventually captured and charged for PnB’s death. 45-year-old Tremont Navon Jones was present with Freddie Trone, who was the getaway driver and father of the juvenile who executed the robbery and murder. Jones was arrested in May 2023, but his case was not revealed as it was placed under a different case number.
Jones was charged with two counts of robbery, one count of conspiring to rob, and one count of illegal possession of a firearm.
PnB Rock fathered two children with Steph, Milan and Xuri. PnB Rock recently released “Luv Me Again” on Sept. 2. In his career, he collaborated with Meek Mill, Chance the Rapper, YFN Lucci, Ed Sheeran, and more. He was 30 years old.

Playboi Carti Wreaks Havoc On His Hypnotic New Single, ‘All Red’
After becoming the music business’ go-to call for a hit single feature, the time is ripe for Playboi Carti to finally come through with his long-awaited, oft-delayed album, Music. In typical Carti fashion, the self-declared King Vamp hasn’t given fans much to go on, let alone a solid album release date, but he did offer hope in the form of a new single, “All Red.”
In addition to trading in the high-pitched, squeaky voice we’ve heard him employ on a number of releases for a deeper-voiced, Future-esque flow, “All Red” is also the first official release to streaming services Carti’s shared since 2020’s Whole Lotta Red. Like many of Carti’s tracks, it was first teased through snippets on social media, although he did perform the song in full during his headlining set at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in Chicago in June.
Carti’s new flow pairs with his usual approach to wordplay, lending “All Red” a menacing, but playful vibe. It’s certainly a good sign for Music that Carti appears to be fully motivated and actually dropping new music again.
However, just because he wasn’t officially releasing music doesn’t mean we hadn’t heard from him lately. In August, he was featured alongside Drake on the leaked track “No Face,” which still has yet to see an official release as well.
