Azealia Banks Hops On Tinashe’s “Nasty” For Her Own Remix Of The Hit Song

Azealia Banks is the latest artist to hop on a remix of Tinashe’s hit song, “Nasty,” after Tyga and Chloe Bailey both added verses to the track, last week. While Banks hasn’t dropped an official version of the remix, she filmed herself recording it in a new video on social media. When The Neighborhood Talk posted the clip, fans in the comments section were impressed with the performance.

“She’s talented always has been. One of the mains that started rapping over house beats. Gotta give her that I wish she just was an artist … like she never had rants … I really wish she just did music … her and Kanye like just do music please LMAO,” one user commented. Another similarly wrote: “Her and Khia remind me of each other. Both talented but both lowkey sabotaged their own career.” One more user remarked: “She’s problematic but as many passes as y’all give Kanye West.. I be giving her passes, too.. cancel me..”

Tinashe’s “Nasty” has been going viral since its release back in April. It marked her first song to land on the Billboard Hot 100 and is the lead single from her upcoming album, Quantum Baby. The project is set to drop on August 16 as the second installment in a planned trilogy. She already released BB/Ang3l in 2023. Since dropping “Nasty,” Tinashe has followed it up with another song titled, “Getting No Sleep.”

Punch TDE Hilariously Responds To A Supposed Drake Fan’s Claims That His Label Is Full Of “Thugs”

Regardless of how so many people feel that Kendrick Lamar is the winner of the Drake battle, there are still going to be others that disagree. The amount of time that has passed since its end also has no effect on it whatsoever neither. One supposed fan of The Boy who goes by aubreysattorney on Twitter (X) sounds like someone who will defend him to the death. Well, that is certainly true because this Drake supporter is making assertions that the entire TDE label is full of “thugs”. In the tweet below, they list of numerous events/subplots from the beef and how the imprint has “threaten[ed]” foes of Kendrick in some way.

Punch TDE Spells Out What “THUG” Means To Drake Stan

The Twitter user has since sparked a heated debate with these claims amongst the community with some calling him a “racial agitator”, for example. This semi-viral message popped up on the TDE CEO’s (Punch) feed, and it led him to respond in the perfect way. Punch decided to clarify for the viewers what this Drake fan means by “thug”, and it apparently is an acronym. It stands for “Truly Humble United Gathering Souls”, which is such a hilarious polar opposite. Overall, all Punch could do was laugh it off.

Joe Budden is someone who has consistently been hit with Joe Biden jokes because their names are so similar. Overall, whenever something happens involving Biden, someone decides to take a crack at Budden. This was especially true when Biden ended up winning the election back in 2020. People would congratulate Budden on his new role as President. With the latest news involving Biden in mind, there should be no surprise that Budden is being brought up all over again.

As many of you know by now, Joe Biden has announced that he will not be running for re-election in 2024. Although he was deadset on staying in the race, it was becoming clear that it was a bad idea for him to stay in. His cognitive decline was a bit too much for people to take seriously, and he ultimately dropped out while endorsing Kamala Harris. This all led to jokes against Budden. For instance, someone made a joke about his retirement from music, saying “damn, you quit again.”

50 Cent Teases Drake Collab, Is Accused Of Betraying Kendrick Lamar

Fans are accusing 50 Cent of betraying Kendrick Lamar after meeting up with Drake at a party in Toronto over the weekend and teasing a collaboration. 50 posted a picture of the two together on Instagram on Sunday afternoon. “Brain [brain emoji] storming last night me and @champagnepapi gonna get the [camera emoji] rolling biggest ting on your TV GLG,” the caption reads. This suggests that 50 and Drake’s collaboration is related to television, not music. 50’s an accomplished TV producer, with his Power franchise celebrating ten years on the air last month. Drake is an executive producer on Netflix’s Top Boy revival and Euphoria. The latter is one of the most popular shows on HBO.

50 Cent meeting with Drake angered fans of Lamar. Some of them pointed out 50’s own history of attacking those who sided with his rivals. “You can’t do Ja Rule like that and go hang with the modern day Ja Rule,” said one user. Another user mentioned Drake’s own history as an actor, saying that they “don’t want to see [Drake] in Power” after this.

50 Cent Accused Of Betraying Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent have shared history. The two of them collaborated on the 2013 track “We Up.” Lamar also made a cameo in the fifth season of Power as Laces, a homeless drug addict who gets shot in the head by Kanan Stark, portrayed by 50 himself. Of course, the two of them have connections to Dr. Dre and Eminem. Both signed to Aftermath Entertainment at different points in the last two decades and found massive success. The two have since departed to forge their own paths. 50 went into TV and Lamar founded the pgLang production company.

Fans have also pointed out that 50 Cent and Drake’s meetup was likely in part because of a shared enemy: Rick Ross. Ross and 50 have had beef since the 2000s. Drake and Ross’s relationship deteriorated earlier this year, with the two of them taking petty shots at each other during the much bigger battle between the former and Kendrick Lamar. Drake claimed credit for Ross’s crossover success. Ross referred to Drake as “BBL Drizzy,” alleging that Drake uses Ozempic and paid for ab sculpting surgery. Ross recently got into a fight for playing “Not Like Us” in Vancouver. Drake’s and 50’s meetup is a hot topic, and it will be interesting to see what comes of it.

Lupe Fiasco Sparks Debate & Heated Reactions From Kendrick Lamar Fans Following His Twitter Spaces Event

If you follow Lupe Fiasco closely, you know that he tends to have some bold takes about Kendrick Lamar. The Chicago MC’s views waver on the Compton artist’s rapping abilities and musical output as a whole and they have been for some time. Fans have seen him label himself as a better writer than Kendrick (which is arguable), Logic, and most recently Drake during the heat of the beef. Because of this, people on the internet continuously reaffirm that the Samurai creator is a hater, and he has to disprove those claims time and time again. That was the case once again after Lupe hosted a Twitter Spaces event that eventually led some Kendrick fans to press him about where he stands.

Things seemed to escalate to this point following a debate around who can gatekeep in hip-hop. Uproxx was able to copy Lupe’s words, so here are some key points. “If you want to start who is in and who is out, a process which I don’t agree with, and I think is bulls***, if you want to do that you should have a degree… If you ain’t got that, then I don’t think that you are qualified… Just because you can rap, and you’ve sold a bunch of records… It should be stewarded by people who know what the f*** they are talking about very deeply and can write a book about it”.

Lupe & Kendrick’s Fans Go Back And Forth On Twitter

All of this and more were what got the Kendrick fan base riled up as they felt subtle shots were fired. For example, it led to the second clip, which shows Lupe and a participant go back and forth about who should be liked in hip-hop. Both guys went back and forth about why they like Lamar outside of just his music. The rapper then checked the debater about a time he has ever said he hates the TPAB MC. Overall, the fan’s goal was to get a concrete stance from Lupe about him. After the latter sensed that he accomplished that, he either removed him from the Twitter Spaces, or he left on his own.

Meek Mill is facing a barrage of jokes on social media in regard to his alleged relationship with Diddy. The renewed jokes come after he posted clips of himself riding an ATV in the streets of Newark, New Jersey. “Big benders …. Don’t try this at home!” he captioned the series of videos.

Fans were quick to highlight the second clip, in which Meek thursts into the air while riding the vehicle. “The 2nd slide was for diddy lol,” one top comment reads. Another user wrote: “You really not beating the allegations,” with a clown emoji. Others came to his defense. “They just hoping you fall off, don’t listen to them gang you keep doing you,” one fan posted.

Meek has been dealing with incessant trolling about the situation on social media throughout the year. Back in April, he complained that YouTube’s algorithm is promoting fake rumors about him. “My city is fully behind me I prolly got a 1000 haters of 1.6 million people! Ima start my next tour Philly gone be in the first dates to display reality logic over internet influence I been doing it for years! They just come up with new bot tactics. If you type my name in on @YouTube you only seeing spam of some fake stories or rumors they found away to hack people actually typing my name in easily… @youtubemusic can we get the stuff out the way of my music???” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) at the time.

Gillie Da King Honors His Son with Billboard on First Anniversary of His Death

Gillie Da King is remembering his son Cheese on the first anniversary of his death by taking over a billboard. The digital display reads “1998-2023 Crushed us forever” and has various images of Gillie’s son at all ages.

Sharing the billboard on Instagram, Gillie writes, “Long Live Cheese Miss u kid. #WeGotChase.”

Last year, Gillie Da King and Wallo267 hosted Gillie Fest for their Million Dollaz Worth of Game brand. The event follows the untimely passing of Gillie’s son, Cheese, who was killed in a shooting in Philadelphia.

During Gillie’s time on stage, Gillie shared a message to the fans and loved ones in attendance.

Philadelphia’s rap royalty united to support Gillie Da King as he mourned the loss of his son. Wallo shared an image where Freeway, Meek Mill, and more pulled up on Gillie to offer their support in a trying time.

“Thank you everyone who came through these few days to show big cuzz love,” Wallo wrote. “The hugs, laughs, support means everything!”

Gillie’s son, 25-year-old Devin Spady, known as YNG Cheese, was killed in a triple shooting. Spady was shot in the back in the 5800 block of Mascher Street in the Olney neighborhood.

“Many Men” Producer Says He Would Block Trump From Using Song on Campaign Trail

Darrell “Digga” Branch, the producer of 50 Cent’s “Many Men,” loves the success the single is getting but doesn’t like that it is associated with Donald Trump.

Speaking with TMZ Hip-Hop, Digga revealed that his phone was on fire after the attempted assassination of Trump, but if the former president tried to use the song on the campaign, he would initiate action against it.

“People started connecting the song to the actual incident,” Digga said. “Part of me understands why people connected it, on the other side of me, how did this even happen? I’m not feeling dude at all. I’m not voting for him.”

Digga closed, “It’s a video going around with the song as background music but that’s a fake video. I get requests for the song every week. At the same time that’s [Trump officially using the song] not going to happen.”

The assassination attempt on Donald Trump is causing a massive spike in the streaming numbers of 50 Cent.

According to Billboard, 50’s classic “Many Men” saw a massive stream surge, resulting in 2.2 million U.S. on-demand streams from July 13-15, a whopping 250% jump from the presiding Saturday to Monday period. Luminate notes the single says notch at just over 2,000.

After the failed assassination, 50 Cent performed the single with Trump’s head covering his body on the single cover.
