Boosie Badazz Supposedly Kicks Fan Out Of Club For Complaining About Rapper’s Stench
Boosie Badazz often gets into some bizarre fan interactions out on the town, but we never thought that hygiene would be such a big issue. Moreover, a female fan is going viral right now for claiming that the Russia rapper got her kicked out of a club for her comments on his bad breath. “He got mad, so he sent security up there,” she claimed on social media. “They come to get me [and] I’m like, ‘Dang.’ Look how small [I am]. I didn’t even do anything. Like, your breath was stank, but because I told you your breath was stank, you got me kicked out the club? I’m never going to nothing else.”
Furthermore, Boosie is also commenting a lot on how other MCs interact with fans, such as Rick Ross’ recent fight with OVO fans after he played one of Kendrick Lamar’s Drake disses at a Canada concert. “THIS WORLD GO START LISTENING TO MY WORDS ONE DAY SMH #ispeakthetruth,” the Baton Rouge rapper tweeted about the subject. This follows his previous comments on how the rap beef could go to unwanted extremes. Still, many folks shared their opinion that this was an exaggerated conclusion, and that a great majority of people never advocated for violence or confrontation here.

Meanwhile, Boosie Badazz recently got off house arrest, so at least he has something to look forward to these days. Recently, Busta Rhymes graced the stage at the 2024 Essence Festival in New Orleans. Unfortunately, however, not everyone was on the same page throughout the show. At one point, the NYC-born performer paused his set to call out crowd members for sitting down and filming on their phones. He didn’t hold back, making it clear that he’s not from an era where that was acceptable.

Despite a tumultuous few years in his career, Rich Homie Quan has been on a consistent streak as of late, one that may have flown on the radar. Nonetheless, he’s continued to dish out banger after banger after leaving the major label system. The Atlanta MC came back this week with the release of a new single titled, “Ah’Chi” alongside 2 Chainz. The icy banger boasts production from 2Tall, who leans into the guitar-laden production that sounds inspired by the early 2020s outings by YSL. And even Rich Homie Quan’s melodic inflections feels like something out of Gunna’s playbook.
“Ah’Chi” pays homage to their Atlanta roots, as the cover art suggests. The title itself is a reference to local slang that means to “overexaggerate.” In a way, that kind of embodies some of the bars they dish out and the hyperbolic wordplay (“I knock the whole buildin’ down, b*tch/ Walk out that hoe, I had no debris”). For 2 Chainz, the verse serves as an ode to the trap boy chic that carried his early career as he reflects on maneuvering through the streets to get paid and eventually, becoming a boss on his own.

Pop Smoke’s Alleged Killer Claims He Isn’t Sorry
No Jumper and Adam22’s controversial interview with Pop Smoke’s alleged killer, Blockstar, resulted in a lot of backlash online for its insensitivity and platforming. For those unaware, authorities charged four people in the rapper’s 2020 murder, three of which (including Blockstar) were minors when the crime took place. While they received juvenile sentences, which Blockstar served for a few years and was recently released over, Corey Walker awaits trial as the only adult defendant. Moreover, the alleged killer claims that the robbery at Pop’s Hollywood Hills mansion wasn’t a set-up and had no plans of turning fatal, that they didn’t think anyone would be home, and not only that, but he also refused to clarify which defendant was the shooter.
“I’m not sorry about nothing,” Blockstar expressed concerning Pop Smoke’s death. “It should’ve never happened, but I ain’t sorry. If I could go back, I’ll go back. But I ain’t sorry. N***as die every day. [Pop Smoke] was rapping about it. All type of s**t So, I ain’t sorry about it. I send my condolences to the family. I wish it never happened. But… I don’t regret nothing.

Pop Smoke’s Alleged Killer On No Jumper
“Growing up, I just -– my people, my family told me, ‘You ain’t sorry for s**t,’” Blockstar continued concerning Pop Smoke’s murder. “‘Whatever you did, you did it for a reason and stand on it.’ It was a robbery. Nobody sent us. Nobody did none of that. That’s all false information. Nobody [was] intended to get hurt. Nobody… We was just kids being kids -– being kids from the hood. And [there was] too much movement… Movement from everybody. Too much s**t going on. Just too much s**t going on. It wasn’t intentional.”
Blockstar thought that his sentence was too light, but he didn’t complain and refrained from suggesting more strict consequences for his actions. As for Pop Smoke’s murder trial, Corey Walker failed to secure plea negotiations, so authorities issued a delay for the case as a result. We don’t know whether Blockstar will also play a crucial role in it or if he can leave all that behind. Well, in a way; of course, hopping on media platforms to talk about murder isn’t exactly what many would call “moving on.”

Amaarae Thrives In Yet Another Genre With “Roses Are Red, Tears Are Blue — A Fountain Baby Extended Play”
Amaarae, the Ghanian-American singer with the voice of a siren, is back. The 30-year-old songstress is revisiting her critically-acclaimed sophomore album Fountain Baby and tacking on several new songs to it. This now makes it a double-disc LP, and it comes just over a year after the original. The Bronx native is now referring to it as roses are red, tears are blue — A Fountain Baby Extended Play. Overall, these seven tracks see Amaarae lean into the culturally rich Afrobeats genre even more so.
There are hints of her working with this palette on the original 14-track set. Songs like the irresistible “Angels in Tibet” and “Co-Star” are just a small sample size. However, they are explosive pop bangers, and the roses are red version just provides more of those kinds of tracks. Conversely, the vibe on this new disc is more lowkey but similarly alluring. Amaarae is proving to be one of those artists that needs to be on your radar if she is not already on it. Her boundaryless approach to making music makes her such a threat to all of the mainstream powerhouses and that sexy, high-pitched voice is also instantly recognizable. Lil Wayne Performs At Essence Festival But Not At Birdman, Cash Money & Hot Boys Reunion
Fans got a Birdman, Cash Money, and Hot Boys reunion at the Essence Festival in New Orleans on Friday (July 5), but not the one they might’ve hoped for. Moreover, Lil Wayne didn’t perform with his former label mates, instead doing a solo show after their set after he replaced the Cash Money logos with his Young Money insignias. He performed for about 20 minutes starting at around 1:30AM local time, wasn’t backstage with the group, and the fact that some artists that technically aren’t Cash Money Records roster members performed suggest that there are still issues to work out in the camp. Maybe they’re logistical, and perhaps they’re more beef-driven.
Furthermore, these guests at the Cash Money reunion included former New Orleans mayor Marc Morial, who presented a National Urban League proclamation to a Cash delegation with Birdman’s brother and record label co-boss Ronald Williams. He and Slim got their flowers recently with a street naming ceremony in their city. Regardless, performers included a live band, Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, Stunna himself, B.G., The LOX, Bun B, Scarface, and 2 Chainz. Turk, one of four Hot Boys member and the only one we haven’t mentioned so far, hinted that “business” issues prevented his appearance, and it’s unclear whether this has anything to do with inner tension.

Birdman Speaks At Essence Festival & Some Fans Unfoundedly Think He’s Talking About Lil Wayne
“My name is Tunechi,” Lil Wayne remarked as his show began with “Uproar” after all the other artists went off stage. “I’m here on behalf of Young Money f***ing Records,” he added, notably replacing his former Cash Money imprint with his now independent offshoot. In fact, some Young Money members joined him to perform “Every Girl,” and he went offstage before Birdman, Mannie Fresh, and B.G. returned for the Big Tymers’ “Still Fly.” Looks like Weezy is still outside the loop when it comes to this reunion, or perhaps he chose to stay out of it.
“Every day I did this s**t it was painful for me, because I lost Ms. Gladys as a youngster and I never recovered from that,” Birdman said of his late mother during the performance. “I was just trying to bless some young n***as who was headed in the direction I was headed. I swear to God on everything I love, and I love nothing more than Ms. Gladys, I would never let my city down and be a p***y a** n***a for nobody.”

Celebrity Chef Justin Sutherland Arrested for Assault and Threatening to Shoot Girlfriend
Celebrity chef Justin Sutherland, known for his culinary skills and television appearances, is facing serious legal trouble following allegations of assault and threats against his girlfriend. Sutherland, 39, who is from the Twin Cities, has been charged with one felony count of threats of violence in connection to an incident that occurred last Friday.
CBS News reports that police responded to a report of a man with a gun outside a building on the 800 block of Front Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. on Friday. The caller indicated that the male suspect had the gun in his hand and that a female individual “appeared to be in distress.” Another caller, on a video call with her sister, reported that her sister’s boyfriend was trying to kill her and had thrown her phone to the ground.
When officers arrived, they encountered Sutherland exiting the rear of the building. Despite initially yelling at the officer and questioning the arrest, Sutherland complied with the officer’s commands and was taken into custody. A longtime friend of Sutherland, who also lives in the building, informed the police that Sutherland had recently moved in with his girlfriend and that they had been having issues when they fought. The friend claimed to have intervened physically to separate them but denied seeing Sutherland with a gun.
Sutherland’s girlfriend recounted that the argument began when he informed her they would not be attending a music festival. She also mentioned that Sutherland was upset about their neighbors’ alleged racism, which she believed he was taking out on her. According to the complaint, Sutherland approached her during a call with her sister, choked her, and slammed her phone on the kitchen counter multiple times. Later, he allegedly grabbed a gun, pointed it at her, threatened to shoot her, and hit her in the chest with the firearm.
During the execution of a search warrant at the address, police discovered a plastic gun case on the bed with two handguns inside, along with eight additional firearms and ammunition. One of the guns had a blood-like substance on it, and police noted that Sutherland had blood on his hands when they initially made contact with him. The woman’s broken phone was also recovered.
Earlier that evening, police had been dispatched to the same address after a woman reported her boyfriend choked her and was trying to kick her out of the apartment. She refused to provide his name, not wanting to get anyone in trouble. Responding officers spoke with the woman, who said they had a disagreement, during which he pushed her in the chest. She indicated she was fine and did not need assistance. Sutherland also told police it was just a verbal disagreement and that they did not need police intervention. No arrests were made at that time.
Sutherland appeared in court on Monday morning and was released shortly after on his own recognizance. As a condition of his release, he was ordered to surrender all of his firearms. Criminal defense attorney John Daly is representing Sutherland.
This incident has shocked fans and the culinary community, as Sutherland’s reputation as a celebrated chef is now overshadowed by these serious allegations. The investigation is ongoing, and further legal proceedings will determine the outcome of the case.

Marlon Wayans Addresses Home Invasion Incident Involving Brother Keenen Ivory Wayans
This past week, Marlon Wayans’ home was broken into while his brother, Keenen Ivory Wayans, was inside. Marlon Wayans, known for his comedic prowess, and his famously funny family were the latest targets of burglars in the L.A. area.
According to law enforcement sources who spoke to TMZ, the incident occurred around 2:30 AM last Saturday. While Marlon was not home, his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans was present when two audacious thieves broke into the house. The intruders sneaked into the backyard, shattered a back window, and gained entry into the residence.
Keenen was reportedly awakened by the noise but did not realize the gravity of the situation. Believing it was nothing significant, he shrugged it off and went back to bed. It wasn’t until one of Marlon’s staffers returned to the house around 8:00 AM and discovered the home had been ransacked that the burglary came to light. Keenen was shocked to find that the thieves had made off with a safe and several thousand dollars in cash.
The police have since launched an investigation and are canvassing the neighborhood for any video footage that might lead to the culprits, but so far, no arrests have been made.
Marlon Wayans took to Instagram to assure his fans that he and Keenen are okay, expressing his gratitude. “God is so Good. Everyone is fine. I’m grateful,” he wrote. In a video posted on Thursday, the stand-up comedy star and “White Chicks” alum opened up about the home invasion, humorously suggesting that the burglars “pick a better” target next time.
In the minute-long video, Wayans quipped, “The most valuable thing in my house is my house. So, unless you’re gonna put that (expletive) on a truck and drag it away, then, yeah, man, you did well, but I don’t own (expletive).”
He further explained, “Sorry, I live a simple life with 2 cats and one of them is a 1994 Range Rover. You will need a jumpstart if you steal it ‘cuz the battery is dead,” adding, “I don’t have a bunch of cash or jewelry.”
Wayans also advised against home invasions in a heartfelt message to robbers: “Robbers don’t waste your energy or your life doing home invasions.” He elaborated on his Instagram page:
“Dear ROBBERS and OTHERS,
I am the WRONG N***** to ROB. Save your energy. I don’t have anything valuable in my house except MY HOUSE. Sorry, I live a simple life with 2 cats and one of them is a 1994 Range Rover. You will need a jumpstart if you steal it ‘cuz the battery is dead. Robbers don’t waste your energy or your life doing home invasions, shit is too heavy!!! You want to carry all that bullshit? T.I. and Tiny Harris Move to Dismiss Sexual Assault Lawsuit Filed by Air Force Member
Back in January, rapper T.I. and his wife, Tiny Harris, were sued by a woman accusing them of sexual assault. The lawsuit, filed by a woman using the pseudonym Jane Doe, alleges that the assault occurred in 2005.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) and Tiny have recently filed a motion to have the case dismissed. In Touch reports that the couple has vehemently denied the accusations made by the 22-year-old female member of the Air Force, which allegedly took place in a Los Angeles hotel room. The lawsuit includes claims of sexual battery, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
T.I. and Tiny’s motion to dismiss is based on the argument that the claims are time-barred due to the statute of limitations, which they assert expired over sixteen years ago. In addition to the statute of limitations defense, the couple also denies the alleged conduct ever occurred.
Their lawyer contends, “The facts as alleged, reflect that [Doe] voluntarily and consciously participated in the encounter up to the point when she said ‘no’ and removed herself from the bed with Defendants, who honored her expressed desire to leave the encounter, go to the bathroom, sit on a couch until the morning, and then leave.”
T.I. and Tiny have requested that the entire case be dismissed, but as of now, a judge has yet to rule on the matter.
