Kevin Durant Refuses To Bring Women Around IShowSpeed

Kevin Durant and IShowSpeed are an unlikely combo. They’re complete opposites in terms of demeanor and temperament. Durant is chilled out as can be on the basketball court. IShowSpeed, meanwhile is the definition of spontaneous energy. That being said, the two men are friendly. They even sat down for a joint appearance on the Impaulsive Podcast on July 9. When it came time to discuss dating situations, though, Kevin Durant laid down a hard rule. No women around IShowSpeed.

The whole interaction came about when IShowSpeed asked if Durant would go on a two-man with him. The NBA superstar took a beat before saying: “I would not bring any women around you.” IShowSpeed is surprised by the response, and claims that he’s good with women. Kevin Durant doubled down. “If they fresh, and I never met ’em before,” he asserted. “And their first entry point with me is with you? No.” It proceeded to crack up IShowSpeed and the hosts of the podcast. There was no ill will between the two men, however, as the topic quickly shifted to the planning of IShowSpeed’s 21st birthday.

Kevin Durant Spent The Podcast Roasting IShowSpeed

This isn’t the only time during the podcast that Kevin Durant and IShowSpeed talked women, however. The latter tried to give Durant advice on how pick up women. He claimed that the NBA superstar got his heart broken and needed advice on how to get back in the mix. This once again led to a hilarious string of jabs from Durant. “Stop talking to me like I need advice on women, bro,” he stated. “Every time I explain my stance to people they say some sh*t like that. Like ‘damn bro you just been hurt’ but like I enjoy spending time with them it’s just maybe not as long as you like to spend time with people, man.”

Kevin Durant claimed that he only spends a few days at a time with women. He then delivered arguably the most hilarious roast of IShowSpeed in the entire podcast. He denigrated the Twitch streamer for his age, and warned him not to make comparisons. “Bro you’re 16 do not compare yourself to me,” Durant stated. “You have no other resources but your hand please don’t put me in that same tier as you.” That brought the house down in terms of laughter. Durant and IShowSpeed may not be similar, but it’s hard to deny they’re a funny duo.

Drake’s Latest Ill-Advised Bet Is $300,000 On Canada To Beat Lionel Messi And Argentina

A handful of North American teams got the opportunity to participate in Copa America this summer. The tournament, which is usually made up of teams in South America’s footballing federation CONMEBOL, is taking place in the United States this year, but despite that, the USMNT did not make it out of their group. Nor did the other usual powerhouse of North American football, Mexico.

In a surprising turn of events, Canada was able to get out of a group that included Argentina, Chile, and Peru. They came in second place in Group A, got to the knockouts, and won their quarterfinal game against Venezuela in penalties. Now, on Tuesday night, the Canadians will take on Lionel Messi and Argentina with a spot in the final on the line, and in a show of national pride, Drake posted to his Instagram Story that he’s put $300,000 on them pulling off the upset.

Now, I certainly won’t say that this is a guaranteed loss (and I think this one would not classify as the Drake Curse rearing its ugly head), but Canada faces one heck of an uphill climb here. Not only are Argentina the defending winners of this tournament, and not only are they the defending World Cup winners, but the two teams were actually in the same group as one another and played in the opening game of the tournament, which Argentina won, 2-0.

Canada is an incredible story, as they’ve gotten to this point under American manager Jesse Marsch, and the fun quirk of this tournament is that things go right to penalties after regulation, so they wouldn’t need to hold on for dear life through 30 minutes of extra time if things are level after 90 minutes. That means pulling the upset is ever so slightly easier … but that wouldn’t mean much for Drake’s bet, as his bet is for Canada to win in regulation.

Chris Brown Shares Videos Of Alleged Stalker Making Death Threats: Watch

Chris Brown has been famous for twenty years. He’s one of the best-selling artists of all time, so it stands to reason that he would be a particularly passionate fanbase. Unfortunately, some fans take things too far. Brown shared videos of an alleged stalker on July 9th. The video sees the stalker make reference to members of Brown’s dance team, and the singer does not attempt to hide his concern. “I’m not tryna be mean at all,” he wrote. “But this sh*t is scary!”

The videos get increasingly more intense. The alleged stalker claim that they had an incident with one of Chris Brown’s backup dancers during a show in 2023. It’s innocuous at first, but things take a hard turn when the stalker claims that they understand why people bring guns into shows. “Man, wait til I get my money right,” they said. “If I gotta join a gang, if I gotta do some sh*t I don’t care.” The stalker then flat out states that they want to kill the dancer they were referring to. “Where can I legally kill, because I’m coming for you,” they added. “As soon as I can. Might be twenty years from now.”

After idealizing the day that they can “legally kill,” the alleged stalker went on to cite a particular instance at a Chris Brown show where security approached them. This is where the alleged stalker gets especially agitated and begins yelling at the camera. “Bust a move,” they urged. “Bust a f*cking move.” The footage compiled by No Jumper includes a police mugshot of the alleged stalker, with claims that they previously served time for assault and battery in Florida. There’s also a photo of the person with Chris Brown at what appears to be a meet-and-greet event.

The final video that Chris Brown posted on his Instagram sees the alleged stalker being barred from pop-up meet-and-greets. The R&B singer is understandably spooked by what he’s seen. That said, he’s dealt with stalkers in the past. In 2022, an alleged stalker drove a White Tesla onto Brown’s property and crashed into a truck. The singer confirmed the bizarre incident on social media. “Another stalker,” he wrote. “This time these folks done ran into somebody sh*t. Look like the Hulk just placed this truck on top this Tesla.”

Sha’Carri Richardson Graces “Vogue”: Paris 2024 Olympics, Beyoncé, & Never Giving Up

“I’m not back, I’m better,” Sha’Carri Richardson said about her evolution over the past few years. If you remember, it was in 2021 when Richardson became a global, household name following her pre-Tokyo Olympics scandal. The now-24-year-old was a frontrunner—no pun intended—for the U.S. Track and field team; however, her dreams of taking home the Olympic Gold were deferred after she tested positive for THC. Although her talents were undeniable, the Olympic committee decided to suspend her for one month, taking away Richardson’s opportunity to face off against worldwide competitors.

It was later revealed that the track star had recently lost her biological mother, so she used marijuana during her grief. Regardless of the tragedy, the controversy became a talking point worldwide, leaving Richardson to be scrutinized, often unfairly, by millions. Her supporters have continued to rally around her over these years as Richardson has continued to push forward toward her next goal. Now, she’ll compete in the 100m at the Paris Olympics 2024.

“I don’t just mean I’m a better runner,” Richardson revealed to Vogue. “It’s beyond that. I’m better at being Sha’Carri. I’m better at being myself.”

With her eyes on the prize, those who knew Richardson prior to her days in the spotlight recall her potential as a young girl. Lauren Cross, Carter High School’s girl’s track coach, remembered people questioning how Sha’Carri was so fast on the field. “To be that good, that young, you realize as a coach that you’re dealing with someone exceptional,” Cross said. “A lot of times you have kids who have the speed, but not the drive to do the work it takes to be great. Sha’Carri was totally determined.”

Check out a few highlights from Sha’Carri Richardson’s Vogue feature, including her thoughts on Beyoncé, running through the pain, and making sure she enjoys the spotlight with her family by her side.

On Having Self Discipline

“Every time you step on the track, it’s a validation of the time you’ve put in, the sacrifices you make on the daily. When I get on the blocks, it’s about getting the job done. I know there’s joy at the other end, at the finish line. But I also know I’ve got to earn that happiness.”

“No matter what. Most people, they only think of track every four years. The Olympics, that’s all there is—those few seconds on TV. But for me, track is my life on a day-to-day basis. Everything I do—what I eat, what I drink, if I stay up too late—it’s all reflected on the track. Every choice. That’s what the world doesn’t see.”

On Her Love For Beyoncé

“Do I like Beyoncé? Of course I like Beyoncé. And Cowboy Carter, I mean, I went to Carter High School, in Dallas, we were the Carter Cowboys, so it’s full circle, Beyoncé, she’s a Texas girl like me….”

On “Big Momma” Betty Harp, The Grandmother Who Raised Sha’Carri

Betty Harp: “Sha’Carri’s tough; I made her tough. I’m a strong woman, I’ve overcome obstacles in my life. So I knew what I was talking about when, from time to time, things got hard and she’d want to quit—and I’d say, ‘Don’t start nothing and don’t finish it. You start, you finish,‘… Whatever happens, you keep going, you hear?”

Sha’Carri: “Everything I am, it’s because of that strong, wise Black woman. Everything. I mean, I’ve been blessed, because I’ve had other people in my life who have helped me along. But the foundation, that’s her.”

On Her Family Being With Her During Her Vogue Photoshoot

And occasionally, there’s the all-out exuberance of days like her Vogue shoot, an experience especially treasured, Richardson says, because she got to share it with her family. “Looking over and seeing the smiles on their faces, knowing we’re creating a memory together…that’s validation for me,” she says. It’s through the eyes of her adored younger cousins that she takes the measure of her own success. “Like, they can see, okay, we come from a certain place, but applying yourself, believing in yourself, staying grounded in yourself, it will take you so far.”

On Preparing For The Paris Olympics 2024

“It’s like chess. Every move you make is leading to checkmate. So the Olympics, okay, that’s checkmate, that’s the moment an athlete dreams about. But every race I have leading up to that matters too—that’s my opportunity to grow, so by the time I’m on the track in Paris, I know I’ve done my trial and error.” … “[I have to stay present] Because if all I’m doing is looking ahead, then I can’t be where I need to be. Which is here, now.”

Rob49 & Cardi B Tease First Collab & Fans Won’t Have To Wait Long For It

Rob49 is bringing some fresh heat to market for the Louisiana rap scene, and he will be again soon with a new Cardi B collab. These two stars are not frequent teammates. In fact, they have never been on a record together, so this is pretty exciting news. This new tandem will be dropping “On Dat Money” on July 19, according to a Rap Alert tweet. The source also appears to have their hands on the cover art as well, which features Rob49 and Cardi B surrounding hundreds of thousands in dollar bills. With the title and artwork available, it appears this record will be a slick and braggadocious banger.

Currently, there is no word on a producer either, so we will have to wait and see who that is behind this next Friday. Rob49 and Cardi B personally hyped up “On Dat Money” on the former’s social media platform just hours ago as well. Cardi claims, “Yeah motherf***ers we got some motherf***in’ heat on the way”. Hopefully, that proves to be case, but fans are already very optimistic about it.

“I know Cardi finna slide on this! She always slide on her features!”, one IG user writes. Fellow collaborator of Rob’s, Skilla Baby, was also hyping them up, “They can’t fw you brudda💯🔥”. This single could also signify a major album for the “TOPIA TWINS” artist. He has not announced a tape for this year yet, but he does have several records out this year that could warrant that possibility. “Wassam Baby” with Lil Wayne and “Off Dat Drank” are candidates, so maybe we will get another announcement closer to the 19. It is also worth noting that he has not dropped a new LP since June of 2023 with 4GOD II.

What are your thoughts on this Rob49 grabbing Cardi B for his new single “On Dat Money”? Do you agree think this track will be a bop or a flop and why? Can you see Rob49 coming out with a new project this year? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Common Freestyles Over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” & Fans Are Split On It

Without a shadow of a doubt, Common is one of the most technically-sound writers we have in hip-hop history. His wordplay, flows, and tremendous storytelling are all of the skills that separate him from most of the competition. It is part of the reason why fans of the genre as so thrilled to be receiving his new album with producer Pete Rock, The Auditorium Vol. 1, on July 12. The 15-track collaborative effort has four incredible singles out from it right now and it is looking like it will be a top-tier LP for 2024. In the meantime, though, Common is creating more buzz for their album by providing a freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”.

The future rap song of the year has the everyone around the genre in a chokehold right now. It is everywhere and thanks to its viral music video, it is looking like it will be around well after these next five months. With Common bringing his philosophical bars to the West Coast anthem, what could possibly go wrong? Well, it turns out a lot did, unfortunately. Fans did praise the Chicago veteran’s overall performance, but there were also a few skeptics out there.

Fans Claim This Common “Freestyle” Might Be An Unreleased Snippet

Most of the complaints centered around the fact that the words felt recited and ones that might belong to another song. Others were even claiming that Common rapped some of these bars at the Roots Picnic from last month. He did in fact hit the stage in Philadelphia and the joints he did play were made with Pete Rock, according to Billboard. Additionally, Com’s flows are pretty off compared to the tempo of the instrumental on “Not Like Us” and the hype man in the back seemed to know all of the adlibs. Maybe this was Common’s intent, especially with the album coming in just four days.

What are your thoughts on this “Not Like Us” freestyle by Common? Do you agree with the fans that this might be an unreleased song snippet? Even though it is not a conventional off-the-dome rap session, was it a great set of verses? Are you excited for him and Pete Rock’s upcoming project, The Auditorium Vol. 1? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Common and Kendrick Lamar.
