Throughout the past couple of years, there have been numerous questions about Joe Biden and his cognitive abilities. Overall, he is someone who is quite old, and there are rumors that he is dealing with a significant health issue. There are moments when he appears to be lost. Moreover, it sometimes feels like he isn’t up to the political moment. Last night, Biden had his first Presidential debate of the election cycle, against Donald Trump.

Many voters were anticipating this performance from Biden. However, he ultimately failed to deliver on multiple fronts. Biden did not look ready for the moment. Instead, he appeared lost on TV, and he lost his train of thought on multiple occasions. It was a shocking performance, and the Democrats are being told to potentially find a replacement. In fact, #ElderAbuse began trending on Twitter as voters were appalled by what they saw from Biden.

Joe Biden Fumbles

So far, the Democratic party is showing no indications that they have given up on Biden. However, if the polls show some sort of prolonged weakness, then they could very well change course. As you can imagine, there are plenty of Democrats who would much rather see someone like Gavin Newsom take the President’s place. Only time will tell what is going to happen, moving forward.

Ralo Officially Released From Halfway House

Ralo is now a free man, as he recently shared an update on his legal situation with fans on Instagram on Thursday (June 27). Moreover, he posted a photo of a federal release notice form indicating that he was officially free from his stay at a halfway house (which lasted eight months) that same day. The Atlanta rapper and YSL sympathizer, according to this revealed paperwork, will also face five years of probation following this release. “Today the last day of this federal halfway house s**t, I’m signing my papers we finna be outside…” he captioned his post. “#FukPrison #Fuk12 I’m ready to do my interviews, my shows call Johnnie (404) 798-0197.”

For those unaware, Ralo saw a prison release in November of last year following a five-year prison sentence. Back in 2018, authorities arrested him after allegedly discovering $1 million worth of marijuana on his private plane at an Atlanta airport, and in June of 2022, he received an eight-year prison sentence. The judge credited this with four years of time served and, reportedly, with “one and a half year for good time,” according to the Thugger affiliate. Since then, he stayed at the halfway house in Atlanta until just this week.

Ralo Announces His Freedom

In addition, Ralo also released some singles following his prison release, including a “First Day Out” and a couple of other collaborations. We don’t know what’s left in store for the future, but either way, fans are very happy with this development and are sending their best wishes. Unfortunately, this freedom also involved some bumps along the road, including a bizarre social media suspension shortly after its lawful commencement. Presumably, this had something to do with his post-release terms restricting fan engagement.

Meanwhile, the rap game welcomed Ralo back with open arms, as folks like Lil Baby treated him to “welcome home” gifts like a $50K watch. It’s been heartening to see, and though the process hasn’t been perfect, that’s an increasingly rare luxury. Hopefully the rest of his return to the regular world goes by without many hiccups. We’ll see what this halfway house release provides in the future.

Offset & Gunna Flex Their Lavish Lifestyles On “Style Rare”

One third of the Migos, Offset, is back with his first solo release of 2024 with “Style Rare”. This does follow up several collaborations, though, including ones with Gunna, Blxst, Killer Mike, 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE, and more. Additionally, this is the second with the first person on that list. The fellow Georgia native grabbed him for his recent album One of Wun. They both created a hit with “prada dem”, and now they are looking to find similar success on “Style Rare”.

As the title of the track suggests, this sees both rappers at their most braggadocious. From shiny jewelry, six-figure whips, and extravagant pieces, Offset and Gunna have everyone turning heads. It is a catchy track, especially with the flows and slightly funky pop rap beat courtesy of Honorable C.N.O.T.E. “Style Rare” figures to be the lead single for the rapper’s impending third solo album. Back in early November 2023, Offset told TMZ Hip Hop that a new project would be out by this February. Furthermore, the father revealed that his oldest son, Jordan, might have a production credit or two. Sadly, that did not happen it looks like fans are going to have to wait at least a few more months. For now, though, spin “Style Rare” and check out its music video and let us know what you think.

Savannah James is a proud mother today and for good reasons. Overall, her oldest son Bronny was drafted into the NBA last night. He was taken 55th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers. Consequently, he will now get to play on the same court as his father. There is no telling whether or not Bronny will earn a spot on the Lakers roster. In fact, it is believed that he will likely end up on the team’s G-League affiliate. However, this is still a massive accomplishment for the young man.

Following Bronny’s draft, there were numerous and memes and comments being made about the young man. Overall, fans were not necessarily enthused about the alleged nepotism at play here. However, there were some fans who decided the best course of action was to just make some lighthearted jokes about the whole thing. For instance, one fan on Twitter joked that LeBron James is sleeping with his teammate’s mom. Of course, that mom being Savannah James.

Pop Smoke’s Alleged Killer Cuts Off Ankle Monitor: Watch

The Pop Smoke murder trial has taken some interesting turns as of late concerning former codefendants, but they’re on very different extremes of discussion. On one hand, the sole adult defendant in the case, Corey Walker, failed to secure a plea negotiation in his case, so he will have to wait longer to face his trial. But for the other codefendant of note these days, Blockstar, his newsworthiness stems more from his extreme attempts at securing freedom. Moreover, a clip recently emerged of him seemingly cutting off his own ankle monitor, making his attempts at escape known for whatever reason.

Furthermore, the court previously released Blockstar earlier this month in the Pop Smoke murder case, presumably due to completing his four year juvie sentence following a guilty plea. The circumstances and vagueness of this release provoked a lot of debate within fans. Of course, a lot of negative messages and threats ensued, and another video was posted that shows Blockstar’s probation officer calling him and requesting relocation due to concerns over his safety. Clearly, a lot of anger or confusion over this has caused some due worries, and hopefully it doesn’t escalate.

Blockstar Cuts Off His Ankle Monitor

However, things took yet another curious turn when Pop Smoke’s released alleged murderer demanded that No Jumper hand him a bag. Specifically, it seems like he wants the publication to pay him for providing coverage of his prison release and, by extension, allegedly exploiting his name and story for their own gain. We’re sure that Blockstar extends this ire to other news outlets and media pages talking about his release, but he still chose one particular target. Perhaps something develops from this in the future, but again, hopefully things stay more measured.

Pop Smoke’s Alleged Murderer Might Be Relocated

Meanwhile, this news arrived a couple of months after folks heard a new alleged testimony of the tragic loss of Pop Smoke. It came from a supposed friend or colleague of his that was apparently at his house when home invaders took his life. It’s a bit of a harrowing account, but it also emphasizes the mundane nature of the situation before a dark end. With luck, we will celebrate the late New York MC’s legacy this year for many more reasons that have nothing to do with this crime.

James Blake & Lil Yachty Captivate & Surprise On “Bad Cameo”

Just over four months ago, Lil Yachty shared an interview clip on Instagram talking about James Blake. The key quotables from it were these: “I think James is working with a quite substantial amount of hip-hop artists, but this project is just… so left. For both of us”. “It’s just gonna be like ‘what the f***?! When they do this?!’”. After that fairly vague soundbite, the trailer-like post made things a little clearer. “CMYK PRESENTS ‘BAD CAMEO’ A FULL LENGTH ALBUM BY JAMES BLAKE & LIL YACHTY”. Fans were undoubtedly excited and intrigued, but no one was sure when we would receive it. Thankfully, on June 6, both artists shared the album cover, as well as the release date.

We are happy to say that Bad Cameo is here today, June 28, and it is quite tremendous. That may be a surprise to some, but perhaps why this album works is all thanks to Let’s Start Here. That LP by Yachty opened the versatility floodgates and most likely gave James Blake and the rapper belief that this would be possible. Honestly, though, it does more than just get by it passes with flying colors. Sure, there are some moments where it feels like one artist is in more control than the other. But the number of times that they mesh far outweighs the moments where they clash. In fact, that is so minimal that we would argue the album nearly flawless.

While that might be recency bias kicking in, hear us out. The instrumentals, which are handled by Lil Yachty, James Blake, BNYX, Dom Maker, and SADPONY, are all so unique from each other. Like the beats, the vocals are also extremely captivating and feel futuristic at times. Furthermore, the lyrical content is deep, self-reflective, and emotional, and they almost always complement the moods of the sonics. This is far from a traditional R&B/hip-hop album. Bad Cameo is something truly extraordinary and needs to be explored again and again.

Today, Grammy Award-nominated multiplatinum superstar Offset joins forces with Gunna for a summer single and music video tilted “Style Rare” out now via Motown Records. Watch the co-directed music video by Offset himself and Joshua “Mid Jordan” Farias. This notably marks Offset & Gunna’s second major collaboration of 2024, following Gunna’s rapidly rising hit “prada dem” [feat. Offset]. “Style Rare” showcases Offset’s creative side outside of the music self-directing his own videos.
