Here Are The Sueños Festival Set Times For 2024
Chicago will be a Latin music lover’s dream destination this weekend: On May 25 and 26, the 2024 edition of the Sueños is taking place. The 18+ event boasts a lineup featuring favorites like Bizarrap, Rauw Alejandro, Maluma, and Peso Pluma.
If you’d like to attend last-minute, unfortunately, passes are sold out. However, you could try getting one via the festival’s waitlist, which offers the chance to buy passes that have been returned.
Aside from the music, Sueños (now in its third year) features a bunch of locally sourced Latin foot vendors, dozens of bars, experiential activations, and plenty more. Basically, the Latin experience doesn’t end with what’s happening with the artists on the stage.

Amber Rose is still catching a lot of heat for her endorsement of Donald Trump for president, which many fans feel goes against her previous values and statements. Moreover, celebrities commenting on political matters has never been a scarcity, but it feels like 2024 is one of the most divisive years when it comes to this. Regardless, she continued to rally against backlash over her support by bringing up two specific clips in a new Instagram post. One is a 1998 clip of Trump remarking on how he doesn’t really mind same-sex marriage, and the other is a 2008 debate clip of Joe Biden opposing it.

Amber Rose Doubles Down On Donald Trump Support
Furthermore, this was one of Amber Rose’s previous responses to the negative reaction to her Donald Trump endorsement. “Lmaooo y’all think Biden cares about black ppl???” she wrote on Instagram. “Sad. Do your research. I did. I’ll always put women first. Y’all want biological men in women’s sports. Trump supports the most reasonable compromise on abortion. Stop being brainwashed, cuz WE’RE ppl of color. Make your own decisions.”
Meanwhile, Amber Rose was also in the headlines recently for speaking on her “date” with Chris Rock. “I was in New York, and I’m like, ‘Yo! Travis Scott and Tyga are the talk of the internet right now. Overall, this is due to dark and grainy footage that is coming out of Cannes. In this footage, it appears as though both artists are allegedly getting into a massive fight, with various other people involved. It is hard to confirm the identity of the rappers in this footage, however, it is being reported by numerous outlets that it is, indeed, the two stars. As one can imagine, a fight between these two is going extremely viral online right now.
The two have never had a history of animosity towards one another. However, there is a potential point of contention between the two. As many of you already know, both of these men have dated Kylie Jenner. Tyga dated Kylie when she was still a teenager. Meanwhile, Travis Scott had been with Kylie up until a couple of years ago. The pair have two children together and are currently in a co-parenting situation. That said, there is no confirmation or even hint that Kylie was the reason for the fight.

You CAN’T RUSH GREATNESS ever. That is certainly the motto that Central Cee has taken up ever since the release of 23 back in 2022. The Shepard’s Bush, London drill rapper has billed himself as one of the UK’s biggest voices over the last few years. He has done so by creating catchy bangers like “Doja” and “Sprinter.” Additionally, you can attribute his success due to his crossovers with the likes of J. Jeannie Mai is in the middle of a pretty contentious divorce from Jeezy, and is apparently seeing her story reflected in other big pop culture developments. Specifically, she reacted to new footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie and responded to the former Bad Boy artist’s message to fans about their support and her journey. “In every echo of your bravery, Cassie, there lies a melody of hope that dances through the silence,” Mai wrote to Cassie. “Your voice has been a shield and sanctuary for many, including me. Thank you for turning your fight into your light.” Of course, fans found it hard to see this in any other context that wasn’t relating to her current situation.
Moreover, Jeannie Mai accused Jeezy of subjecting her to domestic abuse and child neglect, exhibiting behavior that included “explosive outbursts, excessive drinking, and domestic violence.” The rapper denied any and all claims on social media, labeling them as “not only false but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone [he] loved.” As such, there are a lot of conflicting narrative points in their legal battle, so the public is still very unclear as to what actually went down and how the court will respond. That struggle is still ongoing, so there should be more updates throughout the year when it comes to their status.

Jeannie Mai’s Response To Cassie
Furthermore, the last claim that came up in their divorce process is that Jeezy accused Jeannie Mai of “weaponizing” their daughter against him. Given that the two started a family, this will probably be one of the more combative and potentially ugly parts of this debacle, as they will fight staunchly to stay connected. While this situation is very different to that of Diddy and Cassie, it’s understandable why people drew these links before Mai even said anything. Maybe it’s not because of the actual circumstances, but more because of the timing of both of these stories.
In both cases, especially relating to Diddy’s various sexual assault lawsuits, there are claims and accusations that the court still hasn’t verified at press time. It’s more likely than not that the Jeezy and Jeannie Mai case will continue for a while. All we can hope for is that there’s solid verification for stories moving forward. Morgan Spurlock, “Super Size Me” Director, Has Passed Away at 53
Morgan Spurlock, the Oscar-nominated 2004 documentary director who documented his physical and psychological effects from eating McDonald’s every day for a month, passed away on Thursday in upstate New York from cancer-related complications at 53 years old. Spurlock’s passing was verified by his family. “It was a sad day, as we said goodbye to my brother Morgan,” says Craig Spurlock, who worked with his brother. “Morgan gave so much through his art, ideas and generosity. Today the world has lost a true creative genius and a special man. I am so proud to have worked together with him.”
Spurlock became well-known for his experiment Super Size Me. In the film fasted for thirty days straight and only ate McDonald’s cuisine. The one other rule in the guidelines said that Spurlock could not decline the “super-size” choice if asked to do so at the time of purchase. Supersizing was a popular option, giving the consumer a giant soda and fires to upgrade their order. The documentary took the world by storm, resulting in various awards and accolades for Spurlock.

“Super Size Me” Architect Morgan Spurlock Has Passed Away
When Super Size Me debuted in 2004, the film became an international box office hit, earning $22 million, and it started a dialogue on how the fast food business perpetuates bad nutrition in the general population. In the period that followed its launch, McDonald’s dropped the “super-size” option. Even while some school health courses still use the documentary as a teaching tool, it has generated controversy about its veracity in the years afterward. Some criticized Spurlock for not disclosing his food journal to the public during production. Furthermore, Spurlock was rumored to have been a heavy drinker. Many believe it is why his liver was so messed up when he was tested for the documentary.
Spurlock produced and directed about seventy documentaries and television shows under the banner of Warrior Poets. As the #MeToo movement grew in popularity in December 2017, Spurlock claimed he was “part of the problem.” In a long social media post, he acknowledged a pattern of infidelity and declared that he settled a former assistant’s claim of sexual harassment. Rapper SaveAJ Compared To Juice WRLD After Freestyling For 16 Minutes Over 22 Beats On Plaqueboymax’s Stream
If you watch a lot of Twitch streams, you may have heard of the rapper SaveAJ. Overall, he is a young man who is very clearly inspired by the likes of Juice WRLD. If you know Juice, you know that he could freestyle for hours at a time. He could do so over numerous beats and would switch up flows the entire time. Typically, SaveAJ is a guest on other people’s streams, and he always impresses with his freestyles. However, on Thursday night, he delivered one of the best performances of his life.
The young artist found himself on Plaqueboymax’s stream. Plaqueboymax is a streamer who is one of the newest additions to Faze Clan. He is a well-liked streamer, and isn’t known for some of the bizarre antics of his contemporaries. Plaqueboymax had SaveAJ in his studio on Thursday night, where he played the young man 22 different beats in the span of 16 minutes. As you can see below, the artist crushed it as he did not skip a beat the entire time.

Jeannie Mai is thanking Cassie for speaking out against Diddy. Mai previously accused Jeezy of domestic violence in their marriage. Hitting the comments of Cassie’s Instagram post, Mai wrote:
“In every echo of your bravery, there lies a melody of hope that dances through the silence. Your voice has been a shield and sanctuary for many, including me. Thank you for turning your fight into your light.”
Cassie issued a thank you message for the kind words and support that she has received after a video of Diddy assaulting her went viral.
Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers and those I have yet to meet. The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning. Domestic Violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I ma better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.
Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to take this matter seriously. My only ask is that EVERYONE open your heart to believing victims the first time. It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out fo a situation that you were powerless in.
I offer my hand to those that are still living in fear. Reach out to your people, don’t cut them off. No one should carry this weight alone.

Jeezy denied allegations of domestic abuse and child neglect levied on him by Jeannie Mai. Hitting Instagram, Jeezy released a statement.
“The allegations are not only false, but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved. This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous,” Jeezy wrote to social media. “It’s disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play and at this time my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court mandated joint custody. Rest assured, the truth will prevail through the proper legal channels.”
Complex notes Mai accused Jeezy of domestic violence in court documents, stating he abused her four different times, including choking her and pushing her down stairs at the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco in April 2022. Mai also stated Jeezy punched her in the face weeks after she gave birth.

Trump Hosts Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow at Bronx Rally One Year After Their 140-Count Indictment
Trump found some rappers to take a bag and stand next to him on stage. At a Bronx rally, Trump brought out Sheff G and Sleepy Hollow.
Sheff G tried his best to make a speech, saying people will “whisper your accomplishments and shout your failures.” Sleepy simpled let off a MAGA. And both of them were swept right off the publicity stunt stage.
Interesting co-sign for Trump. Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow were of over 32 alleged gang members arrested in a 140-count indictment in New York on May 16, 2023. This is a fun way to celebrate the one year anniversary.
According to the New York Daily News, Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow treated fellow gang members to a splurging dinner at a Manhattan steak house in celebration of a 2020 shooting executred at Prospect Lefferts Gardens that killed 23-year-old Theodore Senior and injured five mores.
In addition, one of the members was awarded with a new custom gold chain referencing the street the dead man was from. According to NYPD Deputy Chief Jason Savino, the members wore matching outfits during their visit to the steakhouse.
24-year-old Sheff G, born Michael Williams, and 23-year-old, Sleepy Hollow, born Tegan Chambers, and 30 additional gang members were connected to 27 occasions of violence, which included at minium a dozen shootings. The arrested men and women are alleged members of 8 Trey Crips and 9 Way gangs.
“Sheff G is not a wannabe drill rapper. He is a legitimate person who made it good. He has gold records, he’s made a lot of money. He rented a very large house, some may call it a mansion, in Short Hills, N.J.,” Gonzalez said.
He added, “He [Sheff G] used his fame and fortune to elevate gang violence in Brooklyn.”
The investigation began after the Gardens shooting, sparked by social media disses between G and a Folk Nation gang-affiliated rapper. The shooting was executed in partnership of 8 Trey and 9 way. Authorities revealed a text message from Sheff G’s sister Williams’ stated members of the rival gangs needed “to get hit or killed.” Sheff G asked for receipts to show the executed shooting, receiving images fo the victim and news articles.
Additional acts of violence in the report include a retaliation shooting at Sheff G’s mansion. Sheff G driving to Flatbush with shooters and executing another retaliation shooting, and the kidnapping and beating of a man who is believed to have gave up Sheff G’s home location.
Sheff G was already in custody, serving two years for gun possession. He was originally slated to be released in June. The new indictment holds charges of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, weapon possession, assault and gang assault.
