Who knew Quavo could do his own stunts? The rapper has shown off his stunt skills in his new flick with John Travolta Cash Out. Quavo shot the movie back in 2022, and the heist action film just released on Friday. It’s an action-packed movie, and Quavo shares the screen with movie legend John Travolta in what looks like a big role for the Migos star. Quavo has been in the news recently for his ugly rap beef with Chris Brown. Nevertheless, fans are discussing the rapper who might be an action star now.

The movie Cash Out revolves around Mason (played by John Travolta), a career criminal enticed by the prospect of his biggest heist yet. He teams up with his younger sibling for a bank robbery, but things take a turn for the worse during the heist. The robbers find themselves trapped inside, surrounded by SWAT troops, the FBI, and Interpol. The situation escalates further when Mason’s ex-lover and negotiator enters the picture. Quavo’s character, Anton, adds to the intensity of the plot with his actions.

In the clip from Cash Out, Quavo is behind the wheel. Quavo is evading police with his acting partner Lukas Haas in a thrilling chase sequence. The movie also stars Kristin Davis, Victorya Brandart, Joel Cohen, and many more. Additionally, the movie is available to rent on VOD and will be in select theaters starting today. All in all, the movie isnt getting the best of reviews, but people may be inclined to see it knowing Quavo is in it. Nevertheless, it is cool to see QUavo in an action flick.

Quavo has been beefing with singer Chris Brown. The two have exchanged diss tracks and disrespect over the internet. The feud is so wild that rap figures like Fat Joe say ridiculous things like, “Chirs Brown is the Tupac of 2024.” Additionally, after Brown’s diss track levied against Qusavo, rap feud expert 50 Cent said it was a wrap for the Migos rapper. Even Chris Brow’s ex-Karrueche has weighed in on the rap beef. Overall, the vicious rap war between Quavo and Chris Brown might boost Cash Out’s success.

Kevin Hart’s Defamation Case Against Tasha K Set To Move Forward

A California judge granted Kevin Hart’s defamation claim against YouTube entertainment industry blogger Tasha K, citing false accusations about Hart in a tell-all interview with Hart’s former personal assistant. Hart can now move forward with the defamation suit. During a hearing on Wednesday in Los Angeles, California Superior Court Judge Holly Fujie rejected a portion of Tasha K’s and her production company’s anti-SLAPP motion.

Miesha Shakes, Hart’s former assistant, stated in the December interview that the comedian was going to be charged in connection with a sex tape he recorded in Las Vegas in 2017. The interview was released on Tasha K’s website. Shortly after the interview went live, Kevin Hart filed the suit in December 2023. Hart had also claimed he was being extorted in the case, but that claim was thrown out by the judge. In the interview, Shakes also revealed that Hart had repeatedly cheated on his wife. Additionally, she claimed he had gotten at least one woman pregnant. She also claimed Hart allegedly had a gambling issue.

Tasha K. attempted to have the defamation action dismissed under anti-SLAPP statutes. The statues are meant to safeguard free expression. The court reportedly decided that Kevin Hart’s defamation claim had enough basis to move forward. The implication in the interview that Hart was being “charged” was sufficient enough evidence to allow the suit to be upheld. However, the decision is likely to be appealed by Tasha K, adding a layer of uncertainty to the case’s future.

“Shakes and Kebe’s use of the word ‘charges,’ in context and based on the common usage of the word, could lead a reasonable observer to conclude that Hart faced criminal prosecution,” Judge Fujie said at Wednesday’s hearing. “Defendants do not dispute that Hart never faced criminal charges in connection with the Las Vegas incident.” The defamation case will move forward. Tasha K was sued by Cardi B in 2019, so she isnt unschooled in being taken to court. Kevin Hart will look to keep his name clean and win a swift lawsuit.

She had commented on how it felt to not be invited to the NAACP Image Awards despite being a part of the industry. Now, Seales has opened up about being allegedly mistreated by Issa Rae.

Seales was one of the stars of Issa Rae’s HBO comedy Insecure which the show ran for five seasons. On Club Shay Shay she commented on the rumors of there being tension between herself and Rae. She went on to tell her side of the story, expressing how she was mistreated during the filming of the acclaimed show. The actor and comedian said she felt alienated by Rae and the rest of the cast. Her comments have sparked a discussion about Seales and Rae’s relationship.

Seales said in the Shannon Sharpe interview that Rae never felt she was “needed” on Insecure. She also mentioned Rae never promoted her show Get Your Life, even though Rae produced it through her production company. Seales also said of Rae, “She didn’t feel like I deserved to be protected. I’m only giving a portion of the situation. But that was my experience.” She continued, “And nonetheless, I have still always protected her because I felt like it was my responsibility to do so. But it is not.” Seales says she was never empowered by Rae like she supposedly empowers other Black women.

She clarified she knows how important Issa Rae’s role is in Hollywood, saying, “I’m not interested in getting a $100 million production deal. That’s not a life that I want for myself. But I know that her role is very important.” The Amanda Seales appearance on Club Shay Shay is another viral interview for Shannon Sharpe. Harvey Weinstein’s New York Rape Conviction Overturned With New Trial Ordered By Court

Harvey Weinstein’s 2020 conviction on felony sex offense charges was reversed by New York’s highest court on Thursday, and a new trial was ordered. That does not, however, imply that the film producer will be leaving prison any time soon. The New York Court of Appeals flipped Weinstein’s conviction, citing nonpertinent testimonies from women not involved with the current case. The argument in his New York case being dismissed is that information from other accusations ultimately rendered a guilty conviction. The court has ordered a new trial.

Weinstein will remain in prison for the time being. Weinstein has been serving a 23-year sentence in a New York prison following his conviction on charges of criminal sex acts against a film production assistant in 2006. Charges also included a charge of rape in the third degree for an alleged attack on an actress in 2013. Weinstein has always insisted on his innocence. He made a public apology for his decades of behavior in the industry but denied all charges against him.

The New York Court of Appeals said of the ruling this morning, “We conclude that the trial court erroneously admitted testimony of uncharged, alleged prior sexual acts against persons other than the complainants of the underlying crimes because that testimony served no material non-propensity purpose.” The courts have ordered a new trial to remedy the issue of the first. There is currently no proposed date for a new trial to begin. The New York District Attorney’s office is currently embattled with former U.S. President Donald Trump. All in all, it might take a while.

Weinstein was a respected movie producer behind films like Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction. Weinstein always had a less-than-positive reputation in Hollywood, with stories about abuses of power and authority over films being known. In 2022, Weinstein was found guilty in Los Angeles of a second rape and given a 16-year jail term. Additionally, on the West Coast, Weinstein was cleared of all charges stemming from one of the women who provided testimony during the 2020 New York trial. Overall, Weinstein is still in prison, and the status of a new New York trial is up in the air.

Since her second DUI and legal battle, Tiffany Haddish decided to turn her life around. She eliminated alcohol and sexual intercourse completely from her life. Haddish spoke of her sobriety, saying, “I’m very sober. I haven’t had a drink since [the incident]. When I sit back and look at my life, everything that’s crazy that’s happened is because somebody or myself had alcohol in their system.” She acknowledged the problem that had led her into difficult situations and completely cut it out. She spoke about her celibate lifestyle going hand in hand with sobriety, saying With alcohol [my mind] would just be like ‘You’re horny, let’s just do it.’”

Clearly, Haddish is attempting to better herself. She has been steeped in controversy even outside of her two DUI arrests. Haddish recently revealed she created a burner account on Twitter to clap back at people criticizing her. DC Young Fly Booed During His Performance In Atlantic City

DC Young Fly has been dealing with a lot of tragedy in the past year. Recently, he said that he’s constantly thinking about his late girlfriend, Jacky O, with whom he shared three children. Jacky Oh passed away due to complications she experienced during surgery. It has been a hard event for fans and DC Young Fly to get over. Young Fly also had recently been grieving the loss of other family members, including his cousin Erica Robinson, in 2020. Through it all, DC Young Fly says he was putting all his energy into his faith and is adamant it will pull him through.

The comedian has recently been performing and trying out new material. Trying out new material on the road is what comedians do. They are able to see what works and what doesn’t, which helps refine their act. This did not go over very well for DC Young Fly. He was recently booed in Atlantic City, and the video has hit social media and has people talking. Young Fly has also responded to the incident.

Alec Baldwin can be seen getting increasingly irritated by the confrontation in the coffee shop. Alec Baldwin’s reaction and the confrontation have sparked quite a stir on social media.

Baldwin has recently pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter after a grand jury indicted him for his involvement in the accidental death on the set of Rust. The cinematographer of his film Rust was accidentally shot by a pro-gun that was loaded with live ammunition. Baldwin has been on trial for his alleged involvement in the tragic story. The allegations and charges were initially withdrawn. But earlier this year, a grand jury decided to re-indict the renowned actor. An FBI report indicating that Baldwin’s gun could not have fired without the trigger being pressed is a significant piece of evidence that the motion opposes.

Baldwin refused the protestor’s demands to say “free Palestine” and asked the coffee shop employees to call the police. Baldwin then opened and held the door for the protestors and gestured for them to leave the establishment. The protestor continued her contraction of the famous actor, and Baldwin continued to gesture for them to leave. Baldwin asked the protestor, “Can you do me one quick favor?” then smacking her phone out of her hand. The protestor repeatedly asked, “Free Palestine, Alec, just one time, and I’ll leave you alone. I’ll leave you alone, I swear, just say free Palestine one time.” The protestor also brought up Baldwin’s current legal troubles, being charged with manslaughter.

Baldwin has had run-ins with pro-Palestine protestors before, which is probably why he was confronted in the coffee shop. In December, Baldwin did the confronting as he angrily went up to protesters in Manhattan, telling them to “shut the f— up.” Baldwin was then escorted away by the police at the rally. As Baldwin was led away by police, the crowds started asking him about the Rust shooting, mocking the actor’s involvement. Overall, Baldwin is involved in another negative situation.

Michael Jackson’s famous estate, Neverland Ranch, is getting revamped. The ranch is getting updated for the upcoming biopic of Michael Jackson, which is in production. The ranch has been pictured with a bunch of fairground rides, a hot-air balloon ride, and even a train. Filming took place this past Friday on location and featured a ton of extras working as vendors and people enjoying the backyard theme park. The upcoming biopic stars Michael’s nephew Jaafar Jackson as his uncle.

Michael Jackson stopped living at the ranch in 2003. He left the estate after Sheriff deputies executed a search warrant related to the child molestation case he was being investigated for. Jackson never returned to the ranch, but it stayed in the family. After his death in 2000, his estate still co-owned the Ranch. Ron Burkle purchased the ranch in 2020 for a reported $22 million. There is a renewed interest in Jackson’s life now that fans are anticipating the biopic, which will be released in Spring 2025.

The King of Pop will be portrayed by his nephew Jaafar Jackson in the Michael Jackson biopic, which is supported by the Jackson Estate and will include several of the King of Pop’s classics. Earlier this month, at Lionsgate’s CinemaCon panel, a first-look trailer for the film was shown. The film is only halfway through production but was a big talking point and success at the movie conference. Additionally, the movie will follow Michael from his early years as the lead singer of the Jackson 5 to his father Joe Jackson’s abuse. It will explore his purchase of Neverland Ranch and the making of his iconic song “Thriller.” The film will capture everything until his unexpected death on June 25, 2009.

The film is officially titled Michael. The movie is directed by Antoine Fuqua and stars Michaels’s Nephew Jafaar as his uncle, Academy Award nominee Coleman Domingo as Joe Jackson, Michaels’s Father, and Nia Long as his mother, Katherine. Furthermore, the film also features Kat Graham as Diana Ross and Miles Teller as John Branca. Overall, It is projected to be one of the biggest films of 2025.
