DC Young Fly Booed During His Performance In Atlantic City

DC Young Fly has been dealing with a lot of tragedy in the past year. Recently, he said that he’s constantly thinking about his late girlfriend, Jacky O, with whom he shared three children. Jacky Oh passed away due to complications she experienced during surgery. It has been a hard event for fans and DC Young Fly to get over. Young Fly also had recently been grieving the loss of other family members, including his cousin Erica Robinson, in 2020. Through it all, DC Young Fly says he was putting all his energy into his faith and is adamant it will pull him through.

The comedian has recently been performing and trying out new material. Trying out new material on the road is what comedians do. They are able to see what works and what doesn’t, which helps refine their act. This did not go over very well for DC Young Fly. He was recently booed in Atlantic City, and the video has hit social media and has people talking. Young Fly has also responded to the incident.

DC Young Fly’s New Material Recives Boos

😵‍💫 — The video is very awkward as the room that is packed with people is completely silent. The boos start ringing in, and it gets bad. The individual recording constantly says, “They are booing him,” and they “feel so bad for him.” To his Credit, DC Young Fly stood tall and completed his act amongst the boos. His standing up and perseverance earned him a couple of loud cheers amongst the unrest from the crowd. The comedian responded on Twitter and said, “when u speak about GOD, u, gon disturb some folks, but guess what!!!????? Im comin back and YU GON HEAR DIS AGAIN.”

DC Young Fly is incorporating more of his faith into his act. He said of people not responding to his new act “Imagine people wantin u to crash out… literally sayin lose ya mind go off the deep end… thats wat we want !!!! Yu gotta stay prayed up out here!!” He continued on Twitter, “Everybody aint found there purpose and dats ok!! But long as u sent them in the right direction thats all that matter.” Young Fly is continuing his tour, and nothing is going to stop him from doing what feels right to him.

DC Young Fly Admits He’s “Constantly Reminded” Of Jacky Oh’s Death

DC Young Fly said that he’s constantly thinking about Jacky Oh’s passing and revealed why during an appearance on Cam Newton’s podcast, Funky Friday. He explained that every time he sees a woman who survived the surgery that took his late partner’s life, he asks why they made it out okay and Jacky didn’t.

“I’m constantly reminded like, they made it. Here go another big booty. She made it. See what I’m saying?” he asked. “I get why women want to enhance themselves. I get it, but fellas, we have to do more than just continuously telling our women that they are beautiful.” He added: “You have to continuously tell them that they’re enough. Don’t make your woman feel like she has to do something. Even if you f****** with a b****…with another chick. No, no, no, no,no, you just love a woman. That’s it. And women listen to your man.”

DC added that, regardless, he’s still never critical of other women’s decisions on the topic. He continued: “I’m not finna sit here and tell somebody don’t do what they wanna do. DC Young Fly Speaks on Missing Ms. Jacky Oh During the Holidays

Whoever stole DC Young Fly’s bag, please return the important property inside. DC Young Fly made a plea for the bag online after performing at the Hollywood Improv.

“I jus want my bag I had personal belongings in there…I was at the Hollywood improv,” Young Fly wrote.

According to TMZ inside the bag was the death certificate of his girlfriend, Ms. Jacky Oh!

DC Young Fly spoke about missing his partner, the late Ms. Jacky Oh, during the holiday season. Speaking with Page Six, DC Young Fly reveals why “mothers are definitely needed in the household.”

“A mother is a nurturing spirit, the father is a protector,” Young Fly said. “You need nurturing spirits around at all times. So definitely a mother’s needed.”

He added, “I don’t have a feminine side. I am a king who learns how to be nurturing… I can go out [and] fight, provide and protect. But when you go home, you have to have a soft side, because they are kids that you have to nurture, and make sure they’re taken care of. But there is no feminine energy over here. You just got to learn how to speak to them, that’s all.”

DC Young Fly revealed what is keeping him together: Keeping the energy right, and just knowing that everything is going to be all right, [as] long as you stay positive, and have an optimistic mindset — and just knowing that the energy is always with a higher power — [you’re going to] be all right.”

DC Young Fly has put out a public request for the return of a bag taken from him earlier this week. According to Young Fly, the bag contains the death certificate of his late partner, Ms. Jacky Oh. While some people criticized Young Fly for keeping a document of that importance on his person, many others sympathized. The Instagram comments of news reports of YoungFly’s plea were full of people sharing stories of similar sentimental items they keep on their person.

Jacky Oh passed away while recovering from cosmetic surgery in May 2023. The 32-year-old was best known for her work on Wild N’ Out. Her death was met with a wave of love for both her and the partner and children she left behind. Baltimore Ravens star Odell Beckham Jr. tweeted his condolences when hearing of her passing.

Young Fly has been praised for his resilience in the wake of Jacky’s death. Last year, he attributed that to his faith. “You know, God is the greatest. He has granted me the strength to keep going. I gotta take care of my babies. That’s the key to life. You gotta keep going, stay prayed up, and never let the tragedies and stuff you’re going through get you down. We healin’, we emotional. People wanna see my cry. I’m just not gonna record myself crying. Of course I’m gonna cry, I’m crying all the time. But I’d rather show positivity and let people know that God is the greatest. I wanna continue to show that God is keeping me uplifted and keep granting me the strength. That’s the message I wanna continue putting out in the world. Becuase there’s a lot of stuff out there and I don’t wanna desensitize what the enemy is doing. The enemy is still working but God is always greater,” Young Fly preached.

The TMZ reporter then coyly asked if Young Fly believes if Jacky’s death will deter people from undergoing the same procedures. “If they’re paying attention, it should. But you know, some people use people as lessons and and others just get on with their lives. But I just want people to take care of themselves. Make sure you make the best decision for you and your family. And always keep God first,” Young Fly continued before leaving.

D.C. Young Fly Reveals His Well-Being Amid Losing Several Loved Ones

One harsh and deep truth is that the happiest people on the outside suffer the most. That is unfortunately true about one of the funniest comedians in recent memory, D.C. Young Fly. The Atlanta, Georgia native has been through a lot over the past year or so. The most recent tragedy was the loss of his three children and longtime partner, Jacky Oh. She passed this past May, and recently, D.C. got a tattoo to forever remember how much she means to him. He shared the ink to his social media to go along with a touching caption.

“We in this together and forever !!! My Angel my baby my wife the Queen of my children. I wish there was a reset button. It may be a lot of things we don’t want to do but we are force to do.” He continues, “We must continue on with the mission but GOD has granted us all strength we mus continue to give praise to THE MOST HIGH through the midst of pain #KeepGODFirst #StayPrayedUp #GODIsTheBestHealerIKno.” On top of that, he also got one for his late cousin, Erica.

After having some time to reflect he gave his fans an update. In the post we also have just learned that D.C. Young Fly lost his sister just a few days ago now. “In a matter of a year I lost 3 people my Kuzzin on last august my girl in may and my sister a couple days ago.. u jus gotta stick through the mission knowin that GOD got u and he will grant you the strength.” Fly gives his followers a valuable life lesson, saying, “Remember he parted the Red Sea not make it disappear .. the problems are still there he jus allowed u to get through it make sure Yu stay righteous don’t hold no grudge because GOD is love and love will always overcome adversity #StayPrayedUp #KeepGODFirst.” Our continued support goes out to D.C., his family, and friends.
