After overstaying his tourist visa, he pursued a green card marriage, which was detected and led to his deportation. Upon returning to the U.S., he committed more crimes and overstayed another tourist visa. Facing a second deportation, he assumed a fake identity and has lived under that alias since. Following this revelation, Porsha Williams filed for divorce from Simon Guobadia after 15 months of marriage. 

May 2024: Petty

After Porsha Williams filed for divorce, things began to get messy with Simon Guobadia. Specifically, Guobadia requested detailed information about Porsha’s earnings from RHOA, and asked for copies of her filming contracts, agreements, and communications with producers. As if all that was not enough, he also expressed his desire to prohibit RHOA from filming in their home. 

Porsha pushed back, arguing that Simon is not only overstepping his boundaries by involving Bravo in their divorce, but also wanting to control her. She also accused Simon of wanting to delay the proceedings with his demands. Recently, Simon commented on Shamea Morton’s new Instagram post. The new addition to RHOA had posted her new Rolls Royce and Simon had seen that as an opportunity to shade Porsha. He commented: “Congratulations my good sis, I’m so happy for you. My brother Gerald has excellent taste in fine cars. Look forward to watching the only cast member with a Rolls Royce.” Taking it in stride, Porsha clapped back with a comment of her own. She wrote: “Simon, don’t forget a debt-free husband who is a US citizen! My bestie is winning. Welcome to RHOA Queen Mumbi!” Let’s all hope this is where the pettiness ends.

Clippers Big Man Ivica Zubac’s LA Home Was Burglarized

Last week, late Wednesday night, Clippers center Ivica Zubac’s home in the Los Angeles area was broken into and burglarized. The LAPD is currently searching for the perpetrators. Around 11:30 PM on May 22, three persons were seen inside the 27-year-old’s crib, according to TMZ Sports. Police were sent to the location when the thieves were detected, maybe by a surveillance camera or by a witness on the property, even though the 7-foot tall center was not at home at the time. Police are looking into the burglary after creating a report. It’s unclear what, if anything, was stolen during the break-in.

Zubac, a 2013 second-round selection, has been the victim of a burglary at his house before. When police arrived at the location in 2021, two suspected individuals had already left the premises. Zubac’s $20k dollar Rolex watch vanished after his residence was broken into. This season, Zubac has averaged over 12 points and 9 rebounds while playing for the Clippers. In the NBA playoffs’ opening round, the Dallas Mavericks defeated the club.

Ivica Zubac’s Home Burglarized

Throughout his time in the NBA, Ivica Zubac has resided in the Los Angeles area, being with the Clippers and Lakers. In his third season in the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers traded him to the Clippers after selecting him with a second-round choice in the 2016 NBA draft. He joined the Clippers during the 2018–19 season. He helped lead Los Angeles to the playoffs, where it was defeated by the Dallas Mavericks in the opening round. According to his current contract, Zubac will begin his final season in 2024–2025.

The Clippers are looking to resign Paul George on a discounted deal, which may be hard to do. The Clips payroll is bloated with older star players like Russell Westbrook and James Harden. Zubac has been a constant on the Clippers. He is a reliable double-double machine and a good anchor on defense. This, unfortunately, is the second time his Los Angeles home has been broken into in the past few years. All in all, the good news is that Zubac and his family were unharmed and didn’t have a run-in with the burglars.

The Dipset founder’s career spans both TV and music, with his third studio album, Come Home With Me, featuring the iconic singles “Oh Boy” and “Hey Ma.” However, Cam’Ron seems to have a secret extra talent: making interviews go viral. The Harlem legend has left quite a few interviewers dumbstruck over the years, and he’s recently done so again. In a now-viral interview with Abby Phillip on CNN, Cam’ron visibly drank a jar of his sexual enhancer, Pink Horse Power, and shared that would be going to get “some cheeks” after the interview. There have been other times when Cam’ron has been at the center of a wild interview, and the following seven are worthy of note.

On the carpet for the 2003 Source Hip Hop Music Awards, Cam’ron and the rest of Dipset were left a bit dumbfounded. During an interview on the red carpet, a young interviewer named Andy held a fake petition for Cam’ron to sign. The petition, titled “B*itches are people too,” was as a result of the “negative music about females.” Not one to be pranked, Cam’Ron held his face straight and asked no questions as he reached for the petition and added his signature. Andy then promised to frame Cam’ron’s signature.

Cam’ron Flips The Tables On Bill O’Reilly

In 2003, Bill O’Reilly, the conservative firebrand, faced off against Cam’ron, during an interview on “The O’Reilly Factor.” The topic was: the impact of rap lyrics and other elements of Hip Hop culture on young people. O’Reilly, with his characteristic intensity, grilled Cam’ron and Damon Dash about their responsibility towards the content they produced. A third guest on the show was Principal Salome Thomas-El, who was also there to argue how the new Hip Hop was bad for children. 

It didn’t take long for things to start going sideways. During the interview, O’Reilly began asking Cam’ron pointedly rude questions about his music and lifestyle. These questions were fielded by Dash for a while. However, in a hilarious turn, Cam’Ron, cool and collected, responded. He looked at O’Reilly with a smirk, and mockingly laughed, saying: “You maaad…I got dirt on you, doggy!” 

The host, taken aback by Cam’Ron flipping the script, attempted to regain control. But Cam’ron’s composure remained unshaken. Dash would also try to return the interview back on track by talking about artistic freedom and questioning the framing of O’Reilly’s arguments. However, it was too late, and the interview was awkwardly wrapped up after a few minutes. Cam’ron had left the entire interview astonished.

Cam’ron’s Post-Shooting Interview

On October 23, 2005, Cam’ron, on his way from a D.C. nightclub, had his blue Lamborghini showered with gunfire during an attempted carjacking near Howard University. Cam’ron was shot once in the arm. In a subsequent news interview after his discharge, Cam’ron, with a rolled blunt in hand, recounted the ordeal to the press. With a curious mix of humor and nonchalance, he said, “I felt disrespected ’cause nobody’s gonna take a quarter million dollar car from me. Let alone a five cent piece of chewing gum.” He also used the opportunity for a quick promotion: “I got shot three times and my album comes out November 22.”

Cam’Ron also boldly told the press he would not be cooperating with the police. “I won’t just give up anything to anybody because they’re waving a gun around,” he said. Moreover, when asked if the attack was related to his career, Cam’ron showed more of his trademark humor. He insinuated that the robbers just didn’t like that he was successful. “It’s nothing. I’m all right. It’s just a flesh wound,” he said. “It’s just one of those things that happen when you live that kind of life.”

60 Minutes With Anderson Cooper

On April 19, 2007, Cam’ron met up with Anderson Cooper for an interview on CBS’s 60 Minutes. During this meeting, the rapper made some of his most controversial statements till date. Cam’ron explained to Cooper, how “There’s never a reason to help the police,” when Cooper questioned his “No Snitching” creed. Then, when asked if there were exceptions to the rule, such as a serial killer neighbor, Cam’ron continued by saying that even if he had a serial killer neighbor, he would not report them to the authorities. Instead, he would simply just move away to another neighborhood.

Furthermore, he shared that there would always be repercussions if he ever broke this code. He mentioned the carjacking from 2005, and why he chose not to report. According to him, any form of cooperation with the police would have cost him his “street cred.” Additionally, he would become a target. “Where I come from,” he said. “Once word gets out that you’ve cooperated with the police, that only makes you a bigger target of criminal violence.”

The backlash to the interview was immediate and intense. Cam’ron’s comments were met with criticism from various quarters, including those who had suffered personal tragedies or worked in law enforcement. Recognizing the impact of his words, Cam’ron issued an apology on April 26, 2007. He clarified that his comments were a reflection of his frustration with his circumstances, and not intended to be harmful.

The Angie Martinez Show

On February 1, 2007, on The Angie Martinez Show on Hot 97 Cam’ron made yet another iconic interview appearance. 50 Cent was the guest on the show, promoting his third studio album Curtis. He was taking calls when Cam’ron and Koch Records’ GM Alan Grunblatt dialed in. The conversation took a sharp turn when 50 Cent called Koch Records a “graveyard” for artists.

Cam’ron, defending his label and artists, challenged 50 Cent’s comments, leading to a back-and-forth over record sales and industry clout. The Harlem rapper questioned the success of G-Unit artists, compared to those under Koch. The back-and-forth then escalated as Cam’ron began to repeatedly taunt 50 Cent with his now-iconic jeer, “Curtisss! Curtiss! How much did the mob sell Curtiss?!”

Angie Martinez, found herself in the middle of the confrontation and tried to mediate to no avail. As tensions rose, she was forced to cut the call short. Despite the abrupt end to the on-air argument however, the feud continued off the air for some time. Nine years later, on August 9, 2016, 50 Cent and Cam’ron publicly ended their feud, sharing photos on Instagram and seemingly sharing a laugh together.

Drink Champs & Neighbor 29C

In a candid episode of Drink Champs, aired on April 3, 2021, Cam’ron shared the bewildering story of his neighbor, a woman now known to the world as 29C. Although he had shared a few clips on his Instagram before the interview, Cam’ron recounted to N.O.R.E how his simple interaction with 29C spiraled into bizarre territory. It began with the neighbor filming him from her terrace and escalated after a personal encounter. She allegedly also sent a direct message to Cam’ron stating what she actually wanted from him: “to have my Black babies,” a request he would consider.

After their hookup, the stalking situation allegedly took a turn for the worse. The neighbor’s behavior became obsessive, prompting Cam’ron to record the incidents and post on his Instagram, “just in case shit go left,” as he put it. Despite the tension, Cam’ron mentioned that he and 29C were on good terms at the time of the interview. The incident, while unsettling, was also leveraged by Cam’ron as a marketing opportunity for his product, Pink Horsepower. Three years later, in a CNN interview, Pink Horsepower made a grand appearance. 

On CNN with Abby Phillip

Cam’ron’s interview with CNN’s Abby Phillip ended with a bag of mixed reactions and raised eyebrows. The interview, which occurred on May 21, was intended to discuss a recent graphic video involving Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Things quickly veered off course after Cam’Ron got a series of leading questions from Phillip. Specifically, she asked if Cam’Ron “recognized” Diddy’s aggressive behavior.

This, and a few other questions made Cam’ron unwilling to continue the interview. “I don’t know him like that, what do you mean did I recognize him?” he asked. “I’ve seen him. What you mean my experiences?” As the interview continued, Cam’ron took a moment to chug his sex enhancement product, Pink Horsepower. After that, he made a crude remark about his plans after the show. “Sorry, I’m gonna get some cheeks after this HorsePower joint.”

He then directed a question off camera: “Who booked me for this joint?” he asked, visibly irritated by the direction of the conversation. “You think I be sitting watching what Diddy do all this? I didn’t know this was a Diddy joint that y’all invited me to.” The segment was abruptly concluded and Phillip thanked him for appearing, and Cam’ron responded with a curt “thank you” before reiterating his earlier question about who booked him for the interview. He would later confirm on his podcast that he was intentionally uncooperative with the interviewer: “You call me on CNN for the bullsh*t, I’m gonna give you the bullsh*t.”

T-Pain Gets Down To “Not Like Us” At Las Vegas Show: Watch

Everyone and their mother are involved in this Kendrick Lamar and Drake feud one way or another. Somehow, T-Pain is in this too, after the auto-tune legend was seen dancing to “Not Like Us.” Debatably the biggest song of the entire back-and-forth war, the final stab to chest of Drake has continued to grow. Part of the reason for that is just how much it has been played at various artists’ concerts. Not too long ago, the West Coast anthem was being spun at one of Lil Wayne’s recent shows.

In the end is there really a better way to hype up a crowd than to play this brutal track? Well, the audience members at T-Pain’s Las Vegas show were certainly enjoying watching him get down to the bouncy track. In fact, one fan claims that “It was lit last night, played kdot song about 5x lol.” Another user agrees that it was “lit,” saying, “he was hittin that s*** tho😂”

This was just the second tour stop for T-Pain last night. For those who do not know, the legend is in the beginning stages of his Mansion In Wiscansin Party Tour. “If your emotional IQ is so low that people on social media can dictate how you move, how you think, how you talk, you’re not a smart person to me. Smart people know how to disconnect from that. And smart people know how to go do some meditation and make sure that their thoughts are absolutely positively their own,” Charlamagne explained.

Wu-Tang Clan’s Legendary “Once Upon A Time” Album Loaned Out To Australian Museum

New York’s own Wu-Tang Clan are about as essential to the history of hip-hop as anyone. Their legendary debut album Enter The Wu-Tang is still considered among the best in the genre’s entire history. In fact, the record landed on Apple Music’s recent countdown of the Top 100 Albums of all time. The album sits at number 37 on the list just a few spots ahead of Nas’ classic debut album Illmatic and a few spots behind Public Enemy’s It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back.

But it isn’t the only record in the group’s history that has achieved a legendary status. Their project Once Upon A Time is legendary for very different reasons, because almost nobody has heard it. The record has a bizarre story that many rap fans will be familiar with. It fell into the possession of notorious “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli where he claimed he would hold onto the record indefinitely. Due to his legal troubles it eventually ended up in the hands of art collective Pleasr. That’s how the record ended up on loan at a museum, where a select group of fans will be able to hear it. Wu-Tang’s Secret Album Added To Museum Collection

The record is on display in Tasmania and the Museum Of Old And New Art, shortened to MONA. It’s just one piece in an upcoming exhibition called “Namedropping.” Fans looking to see the rap group in a live setting could make the likely shorter trip to Las Vegas later this year. After getting rave reviews on a handful of performance they did in the city earlier this year, they recently announced two more shows for September.

Conor McGregor Parties Hard In Wild Night Out Ahead Of UFC 303

Conor McGregor can still have a wild night on the town despite his training routine. As seen on social media, McGregor let off steam this past weekend at his bar, The Black Forge Inn in Dublin, Ireland. He returns to the cage on June 29 to take on Michael Chandler at UFC 303. As per MMA Junkie, the 35-year-old removed a celebratory Instagram post, but his Instagram Story had a link to a video that showcased footage from the bar on the platform. “Stocky tills at @theblackforgeinn,” McGregor wrote in the deleted post. “Quarter past 2 in the mornin ye hahahaaha.”

In one video, McGregor and his fiancée, Dee Devlin, were shown driving up in a beautiful automobile to the bar and then entering via fireworks. In one clip, McGregor was seen holding his Proper No. Twelve whiskey behind the DJ booth, but in other reels, he was seen posing for pictures close to it. McGregor even happened to run into Lee Hammond, another Irish mixed martial artist.

None of the images or videos depict Conor McGregor drinking; during his fight preparation, he had abstained from alcohol for six weeks before the match, as he stated on a Duelbits live broadcast. McGregor seems to be having fun completely naturally without the aid of alcohol. After spending almost three years out of the ring, McGregor will make his comeback at UFC 303. He last competed at UFC 264 in July 2021, when he was defeated by Dustin Poirier. McGregor (22-6) and his UFC 303 opponent, Chandler (23-8), will compete at welterweight. They previously trained against one other on The Ultimate Fighter season two. 

Chandler told The Post that he expects to end McGregor’s career. “I truly believe what I’m going to do to him on June 29 is going to warrant and merit him never stepping back into the octagon,” he said. Conor Mcgregor has been appearing in movies and generally out of the UFC fight world for a couple of years. His return is very much anticipated, but it will not be an easy fight. Overall, McGregor should enjoy himself while he can before locking in 100% for the fight.

In a recent interview Banks was asked about going head-to-head with Megan in a freestyle battle. Retired rapper and media personality Joe Budden found himself in the news for the wrong reasons. This was after his ex-girlfriend Tahiry Jose reacted to his comments on Diddy’s apology video. The embattled rap mogul Diddy offered a public statement apologizing following the disturbing video of Cassie’s assault, leading to scrutiny both online and among his peers. One of those who criticized him was Joe Budden. During an episode of his The Joe Budden Podcast, Joe said Diddy’s actions in the assault video disgusted him, describing it as unbearable to watch.

Joe added that Diddy’s apology was offensive, insensitive, and felt almost like a slap in the face. Joe added, “He didn’t even try to put some sincerity into this thing.” However, when The Shade Room posted Joe’s thoughts on Diddy’s apology on Instagram, his ex-girlfriend Tahiry Jose hopped to the comment section to level some accusations against him. Joe Budden and Tahiry Jose’s relationship began in 2005. During an interview with Global Grind TV‘s Brittany Lewis, Joe and Tahiry opened up about their first date. They revealed that they were together from the first time they met. Joe needed to use the bathroom and asked to use Tahiry’s. However, after she let him in, he used the bathroom and fell asleep on her floor and they never stopped hanging out afterward. Joe and Tahiry also revealed that their first date was at a cave-shaped restaurant where they went to get ice cream.

2005-2013: Relationship Struggles

Joe and Tahiry loved each other and had a strong bond. However, these weren’t enough to stop them from quarreling multiple times and even breaking up twice. This caused their relationship to become tumultuous as they made several allegations against each other. Fans watched Joe and Tahiry’s relationship struggles play out on Love & Hip Hop: New York, which they starred in.

Tahiry spoke about her and Joe’s relationship struggles during a November 2013 chat with Vibe. Despite the difficulties in his relationship with Tahiry, Joe was convinced she was the one for him. Hence, he planned a surprise proposal at New York City’s Times Square. Family and friends surrounded the couple during the proposal, which also played out on an episode of Love & Hip Hop: New York. During the proposal, Joe told Tahiry that he wanted his words to match his actions and his actions to match his feelings for her. “I want the ties that bind us together to always be stronger than those that tear us apart — I love you,” Joe said. “I need you, I don’t want to spend another day without you. With that said, Tahiry-my-mom-didn’t-give-me-a-middle-name-Jose, will you marry me?”

Many would have thought Tahiry would say yes to the ring, but she turned down Joe’s proposal. She had her reasons, though, as she questioned Joe’s trustworthiness. Tahiry’s actions hurt Joe, who spoke about the proposal during an appearance on Hot 97. Joe revealed much was edited from the proposal scene on Love & Hip Hop: New York.

The media mogul explained, “I’m mad that they edited so much out.” He explained further, “In the scene that I shot with my mom afterward—you know, I expressed how the answer didn’t take away from how beautiful the night was for me. With the family there.” Joe continued, “And just leading up to it. And the ring. And just wedding planning. All that was great, still… It was great for a man to do. Like when you feel that way and to actually do it, sans the ‘no.’” When asked if he would ever be in a relationship with Tahiry, Joe declared, “No way. No way. I’m never doing that again. That would never happen again. Ever ever ever ever.”

December 2019: Tahiry Reveals Why She Rejected Joe’s Proposal

Meanwhile, Tahiry spoke about rejecting Joe’s proposal during a December 2019 appearance on The Real. When asked if she regretted rejecting the proposal, she said, “Well, he proposed in a public place so, I mean… I don’t regret it. I didn’t know that I was that brave. It was one of the most important chapters of my life on national TV. I believe that the show had 5.1 million viewers at the time. So, to be able to say ‘no’ to the man I thought at that moment was supposed to be my forever was big.”

Tahiry further explained that she was uncomfortable with the amount of reality TV obligations she would have to deal with if she had said yes. Hence, she chose to do what was best for her. She added, “I knew that that ring would come with show specials, the wedding specials… we were so big! People loved us together, but I couldn’t do it. [It was] what my gut told me to do, so I had to follow my gut. None of that mattered if the relationship wasn’t healthy.” Tahiry emphasized that she made the right choice. She said, “I have no regrets. Of course, I love him. I love him as a person.”

August 2020: Tahiry Jose Makes Disturbing Allegations Against Joe Budden

Tahiry and Joe went their separate ways after she turned down his marriage proposal. However, that wasn’t the end of their interactions. In August 2020, Tahiry was a guest on Hollywood Unlocked [Uncensored], and she revealed Joe allegedly abused her during their relationship. At the time, Tahiry was facing media scrutiny after her ex, Vado, grabbed her forcefully during a Marriage Boot Camp episode. When asked if Joe was abusive toward her when they dated. Tahiry paused for a while before revealing that Joe allegedly abused her.

Tahiry said she kept quiet about Joe’s abuse because she wanted to focus on work. She claimed that her relationship with Joe left her battered and bruised. She revealed, “That relationship left me with a fractured rib, a broken nose because somebody was sending him a message….pushed me down a flight of stairs. I remember having a plan to leave because the reason he was so upset was because I was already leaving. Looking through my phone and sh-t. But I had already told him give me two weeks to pack up my things and he agreed to it. Then he started looking through my phone. Next thing you know, I got woken up by him dragging me from my ankle.”

The reality TV star claimed that Joe began by verbally abusing her. It then turned to emotional abuse before becoming physical. She shared, “I still fear for my safety. He hurt me bad and I just stayed quiet.” Tahiry revealed that she lied to the doctors about her injuries, but Joe rapped about abusing her, and she stayed quiet. She explained that she wanted to deal with the matter privately, but listening to Joe saying she would fight a man after her altercation with Vado pushed her to speak out.

September 2020: Joe Denies The Abuse Allegations

Joe didn’t waste time in denying Tahiry’s abuse allegations against him. The broadcaster said his relationship with Tahiry was toxic. However, he accused her of lying against him and chasing clout with her accusations. Joe claimed Tahiry was abusive toward him and used to “beat my a*s.” He also claimed that he didn’t break Tahiry’s nose, noting that she got the injury after a fisticuff with a man in Sin City, New York.

Joe said, “What was alleged here…let me start with this young lady is a liar, a cancerous, toxic liar. I’m uncertain why she’s lying this way, I’m not certain if she’s misspeaking. If she has a false recollection of things. I’m not sure what it is but she said some things that didn’t sit right in my soul and I’m here to talk about it.” Among other things, Joe further insinuated that Tahiry was in her feelings about him moving on from her and suggested the backlash she received after the Marriage Boot Camp drama caused her to tell lies about him.

Tahiry responded to Joe’s comments during an Instagram Live section with her friend Alicia Lyons. She noted that she prefers keeping her private affairs away from the public. She added, “But, you know, the world believes whatever they want to believe. I’m fine. I know what happened. My God knows what happened. He knows what happened. So that’s why I don’t care. It’s like the party that’s guilty to jump on that bandwagon of everything that kind of supports their story.” She also denied hitting Joe, saying, “So Tahiry’s aggressive, yeah, I’m loud. I’m Dominican, I’m short, I’m rough, I’m aggressive but I never put my hands on you. But people don’t know that. They see what they see and that’s okay, too.”

May 2024: Tahiry Jose Accuses Joe Budden of Physical Violence Again

Nothing much was heard about Joe and Tahiry’s allegations against each other until May 22, 2024. Joe reacted to Diddy’s apology video by bashing the rap mogul. However, Tahiry found Joe’s comments ironical and hopped on The Shade Room‘s repost to label him an abuser. She wrote, “FOH, Who???? The irony. This is so triggering!!!!! I remember joey throwing me down a flight of stairs dragging me back into the house & me having to talk him into letting me go.” She also claimed the situation remained that way “FOR HOURS!!!!” In a third comment, Tahiry expressed solidarity with Cassie and every other woman who went through or was going through abuse.

Joe’s Response

However, Joe responded to Tahiry under the comment section of The Shade Room post. He called her a “lying, failed gold digger that has abused, targeted and manipulated many men.” Joe further said that Tahiry didn’t have an identity outside of him which is why she has desperately tried to be attached to him for over 15 years. He recalled several instances they interacted with each other and she was fine. Joe claimed, “You were on my body your entire last stint on L&HH and tried your best to disrespect my son’s mother in the process, i had to ask producers to keep you away from us like the cancer you are!! Yet you continue to slight my name online because…it’s your identity.”

Joe concluded by labeling Tahiry a con woman and prayed she would find healing and move on. He hoped this would be their last exchange and prayed for women who were really victims of abuse. Tahiry quickly responded to Joe’s comments by claiming Joe’s close circle knew the truth. She wrote, “I’m not scared of you anymore. You can keep bullying, intimidating the rest. Those that know you and are around you also know the truth. Sad that they continue to enable your behavior. Your time is coming!” Joe is yet to respond to Tahiry’s latest comments and seems to be done talking about the matter. At this time, there is no love lost between the former lovebirds. However, only time will tell if Tahiry’s allegations against Joe would be proven or if the issue at hand would fizzle out.
