Rich Paul Makes It Clear That Bronny James Will Not Sign A Two-Way Contract

As Bronny James progresses through the NBA Draft Combine and Klutch Sports Pro Day at the Lakers practice facility, his agent, Rich Paul, is a key figure in the draft process. With Bronny’s stock on the rise, he has several workouts scheduled with teams ahead of the 2024 NBA draft. Paul, who also represents Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, recently spoke with Chris Haynes of the Bleacher Report about one of the contracts Bronny will not be signing this summer. This insight into Paul’s role and his stance on Bronny’s contract adds a layer of understanding to the draft process.

When asked if it Is true that he wouldn’t sign Bronny to a two-way contract, Rich Paul replied, “Yes, that’s absolutely true. Teams know that. I’m not doing that.” Paul claims that Bronny’s desire to be limited to the NBA roster sends a clear message to all teams. It doesn’t seem like Klutch wants Bronny to take the two-way player route, where they split their time between the NBA and the G-league, which is what many second-round selections end up doing. Making this claim probably implies that some teams won’t be selecting Bronny in the draft. Bronny will not sign a two-way contract, so if they do want to choose him, they will either need to offer him a position on the roster or let him go.

Rich Paul Draws Line In The Sand Over Bronny’s Contract Situation

Chris Haynes then asked Paul about where Bronny could get drafted. Paul said, “Bronny’s range has been all over. Some teams think he goes 20 to 40, some say 30-50, and some teams think he’ll go undrafted. It just takes one team.” Paul continued, “This is something I do every year during the draft process. This is not Bronny-centric. He’s a part of our draft class. I have to try to help find the right fit for all my guys as well as the right deal. So that’s how I’m looking at it.” Bronny having the best agent in the game is probably going to end up working in his favor.

The Lakers and other organizations are anticipated to cooperate with Bronny before to the 2024 NBA Draft, even if he could frighten some people away. Despite the fact that a two-way deal is off the table, someone will probably choose him in June due to the high level of interest in his potential. Lakers supporters have stated that they want the club to choose Bronny, and because this year’s draft class is regarded as one of the weakest in recent memory, it would not be a bad idea to take a chance on the son of your biggest player.

Who Is Ian? The Viral Rapper Behind “Figure It Out”

In modern music, viral sensations can arise from unexpected sources. The meteoric rise of one artist has captured the attention of fans and industry insiders alike. As a bona fide viral phenomenon, Ian has risen above the underground scene with his breakout hit “Figure It Out.” Ian’s success lies in a blend of talent, clever marketing, and a keen understanding of social media. However, his journey began with humble beginnings, which showcased his persistence and dedication.

The Early Days: From Soundcloud Start To Underground Buzz

The artist, known simply as Ian Smith, was born in Dallas, Texas, and got his start as a producer and SoundCloud artist under the moniker “suburbancerberus.” By 2018, he was releasing mixes of other artists’ music, establishing himself as an underground rap artist. It wasn’t until 2019 that Ian began transitioning into a solo artist. That’s when he began producing tracks for up-and-coming rappers like Izaya Tiji and Lil Xelly. This experience helped him develop his unique sound and refine his craft, preparing him for his eventual rise to fame.

The years that followed saw Ian steadily building his discography. He released his debut single, “G63,” in July 2022. Then, his first EP, Only For A While, arrived just a month later. These early releases garnered attention within the underground community. It was, however, the viral success of “Figure It Out” in early 2024 that launched Ian into the mainstream consciousness.

A Viral Sensation: “Figure It Out”

The story behind Ian’s “Figure It Out” is one of sheer luck and savvy marketing. Originally released on the social video platform Triller, Ian’s song quickly caught the attention of TikTok users, who embraced its infectious beat and catchy one-liners. Videos of Ian playing his music in SoHo, New York City, started circulating online as the song gained traction, further igniting the viral frenzy. AMD Visuals directed the accompanying music video for Lyrical Lemonade, which featured former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch.

The line “My big brother like Marshawn Lynch, he’ll run through somebody” quickly became a cultural phenomenon. Ian’s unconventional image – a suburban white guy rapping with a distinct style – only added to his appeal. He challenged preconceived notions, drawing comparisons to artists like Yeat and Playboi Carti. To succeed, he harnessed the power of social media to connect with young music fans.

Signing With Bu Vision And Releasing Valedictorian

Following the success of “Figure It Out” and its follow-up single, “Grand Slam,” Ian soon attracted the attention of industry heavyweights. Ultimately, Ian signed a joint venture deal with Bu Vision, a subsidiary of Columbia Records. While Valedictorian solidified Ian’s position as one of the hottest new talents in the hip-hop scene, his journey to that point had been years in the making. His early days as a producer and SoundCloud artist laid the foundation for his current success. In the underground community, he developed a distinct artistic identity and built a strong fan base.

Ian’s Unconventional Path To Success

Although the music industry has undergone considerable changes over the past few decades, Ian has managed to forge his own path to success. His ability to harness the power of these new tools has been nothing short of impressive. Critics and industry insiders alike have taken notice. Many have praised Ian’s innovative approach and his ability to connect with a new generation of music fans. In addition to challenging long-held stereotypes, his unconventional image and sound have opened wider possibilities for hip-hop. One thing is for certain: Ian’s viral success may not be a mere fluke as he navigates the ever-changing music industry. A dedicated fan base, industry support, and an ability to craft infectious beats and memorable lyrics have made Ian a force to be reckoned with.

Sexyy Red Will Never Stop Turning Heads With Songs Like “Lick Me” Featuring Lil Baby

Theneedledrop, also known as Anthony Fantano, made a keen observation in his recent review of In Sexyy We Trust by Sexyy Red. During his soliloquy he applauded the St. Louis, Missouri rapper for being able to follow up Hood Hottest Princess with another high energy project. Furthermore, Fantano had to give kudos also for the fact that the raunchiness was somehow taken up another step. Part of the reason he felt that way was because of “Lick Me” featuring Lil Baby.

This is Sexyy Red’s take on get extremely intimate, which is essentially getting as nasty as possible. “D**k so good, I wanna have his son / Drink that c*m ’til it make me drunk,” are just one of many outlandish sets of bars. “Drillin’ your s***, you like, “Why is you doin’ this?” / Make you c*m first, bae, I know not to ruin this / Go get a towel, you know how your fluids get, squirt.” Beyond the insanely absurd lyrics, though, the song is decent.

Listen To “Lick Me” By Sexyy Red & Lil Baby

The beat is definitely interesting, as it incorporates some woozy and sleepy sound effects. In terms of the flows from Red and Baby they fit the melody pretty snuggly. But overall, the song is definitely more memorable for shock factor and not much else. However, as long as she can continue to find new ways to deliver her music, she will be around for a long time.

What are your thoughts on “Lick Me” by Sexyy Red and Lil Baby? Is this her raunchiest song to date? If not, what are you putting over it? How do you think she handled creating a sexy slow jam? What is your favorite aspect of it? Who had the more memorable performance and why? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Vivek Ramaswamy Explains Why He Cursed Out Van Jones

Vivek Ramaswamy is a businessman who was running for President not too long ago. Overall, he was part of the crowded Republic primaries. However, like many of his other competitors, he was unable to get any real momentum going. In the end, Donald Trump continued to pull in supporters and he is ultimately going to win the nomination. Consequently, this means we will be getting a rematch between Donald Trump and President Joe Biden in November.

As for Ramaswamy, many likened him to Trump in the way he spoke and carried himself. In fact, CNN host Van Jones called him a demagogue who will be alive well after Trump has passed away. Jones noted that this is not a good thing, and that he worries for the future of the country. Subsequently, Ramaswamy was asked about Jones’ comments on a public platform. It was here where he told Jones “shut the f*ck up.” It was a crass response, and he got to explain himself while sitting down with VladTV.

Vivek Ramaswamy Sits Down With VladTV

As Ramaswamy notes, he decided to throw expletives Jones’ way because he has always believed in standing up for oneself. Although he isn’t happy that he used vulgar language as a family man, he wanted to show people that you should stand up for your beliefs. Ramaswamy’s beliefs have certainly been put to the test quite a bit. If you remember, he was on The Breakfast Club months ago where many of the hosts questioned his stances on social issues and the economy.

Let us know what you think of this latest revelation from Vivek Ramaswamy, in the comments section down below. How did you feel about his candidacy for President? Do you believe that he was trying too hard to be the next Donald Trump? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Ice Spice’s Best Sample Flips

Everyone knows Ice Spice broke out onto the mainstream hip-hop scene with her 2022 viral track “Munch (Feelin’ U).”  It was the popularity of “Munch (Feelin’ U)” on TikTok in particular that helped propel her career to a level she never imagined. Hailing from the Bronx, New York, the 24-year-old drill rapper earned a reputation for her lyrics, but she’s had some help on her quirky beats. Part of the motivation to begin creating music in 2021 came from her chance meeting with the producer RiotUSA at college. RiotUSA’s quirky beats and interesting sampling have played an ongoing role in Ice Spice’s commercial success. Spice hasn’t been withholding about this at all, often bringing her producer into the limelight along with her  Here we’ll dive into five Ice Spice samples that showcase the fun and unexpected approach the duo has capitalized on.

“Gangsta Boo”: Chopping Diddy With Lil TJay

“Gangsta Boo” is a collab track Ice Spice created with Lil Tjay for the deluxe edition of her debut extended play Like..? in 2023. RiotUSA and Mario Winans also worked together on the production side. The track features one of the most interestingly chopped Ice Spice samples to date. The track takes its slick melodic riff from P. Diddy and Ginuwine’s “I Need a Girl (Part Two),” released on a 2002 compilation album. RiotUSA ingeniously transforms the riff from its original laid-back and sultry R&B feel. Now, by removing notes here and there, the riff is both poppier and punchier, giving “Gangsta Boo” both a familiar and edgy sound.

“Actin A Smoochie”: Ice Spice Meets Tierra Whack

Tierra Whack, the rapper-singer who’s been performing since she was a teenager, dropped her R&B? EP in 2021. Ice Spice and RiotUSA apparently took a liking to the track “Cuttin Onions,” since they sampled it with little alteration for Spice’s “Actin A Smoochie.” The primary modification made was a tempo increase which also forced an upward pitch change.

“No Clarity”: Most Famous Flip

2021’s “No Clarty” contains probably the most famous Ice Spice samples we’ve covered thus far. This was the rapper’s second single, and it made great use of Zedd and Foxes’ “Clarity.” Back in 2012, you could hear this song everywhere. Glee, The Voice, and The X Factor also included renditions of the song. Even Korean popstars BLACKPINK covered the track back in 2019. RiotUSA and Spice utilized the track’s chorus, having it play pretty much through the entirety of “No Clarity.” But they switched things up by modulating the track and changing its speed fluidly. Warping a song called “Clarity” worked as a clever play on the title “No Clarity.” It worked even better as the perfect melodic accompaniment to Spice’s delivery.

“Gimme A Light”: A Nod To Sean Paul

Ice Spice’s newest track, “Gimme a Light,” is appropriately named. That’s because Sean Paul’s 2002 hit record “Gimme The Light” is its inspiration and basis. It uses the hook in Paul’s classic track to great effect, slowing it down and looping for Ice Spice’s own hook. The syllable stresses in the slowed Paul hook form a map that the entire song’s beat follows. “Gimme A Light” is set to be the first single off of the Bronx rapper’s debut studio LP, Y2K, slated for release next month by Capitol Records. This interesting installment in the growing catalog of Ice Spice samples foreshadows what she and RiotUSA have in store for us on the full-length album.

“Barbie World”: Bringing Back Aqua

This Ice Spice sample throws things way back to 1997, using Aqua’s famous track “Barbie Girl.” This was the Danish-Norwegian dance group’s biggest song, reaching number one in 10 countries and selling over 8 million copies worldwide. Throughout most of “Barbie World,” Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj exchange raps over Aqua’s chorus. There are a few momentary pauses, and the beginning of the song samples the iconic “you can say, ‘I’m always yours,’” line before Spice says “Stop playin’ with ’em Riot.”

Jake Paul Sends Out Cryptic Message After Mike Tyson’s Medical Emergency Puts Fight In Doubt

Jake Paul’s cryptic response to the news of Mike Tyson’s recent medical issue just weeks before their highly anticipated Netflix match has left fans and rivals alike speculating. Tyson’s ulcer flare-up, which caused him to feel queasy and lightheaded during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, required immediate medical attention. Despite this, Tyson’s condition has been reported as “doing great.” His scheduled bout with Paul on July 20 in Texas remains unaffected. Paul’s reaction, seemingly in response to his rivals and fans using old pictures of Tyson to undermine his upcoming fight with the legend, has added a layer of mystery to the situation.

In the wake of the legend’s recent medical emergency, Jake Paul has taken aim at his competitors KSI and Dillon Danis for their use of old photos of Mike Tyson in a wheelchair. Despite the images being two years old, KSI and Danis, who both have a contentious relationship with Paul, chose to share them. Tyson, a former heavyweight world champion, has attributed his condition to a sciatica flare-up.

Jake Paul Responds To Mike Tyson’s Medical Scare

Tyson spoke to  Newsmax about his condition. He said, “I have sciatica every now and then, and it flares up. When it flares up, I can’t even talk! Thank God it’s the only health problem I have. I’m splendid now. Everybody in my house is truly blessed, and we’re all very grateful for whatever we have.” Jake Pual seems to be responding to the scare, throwing doubt on the fight and the fears that Tyson is too old to be competing. Despite his history and status, Tyson is almost 60 years old. Jake Paul is 30 years younger than Tyson. Hopefully, the fight doesn’t result in any life-threatening situations.

He and Tyson are scheduled to square off over eight two-minute rounds in what is expected to be a professional bout that will be noted on both fighters’ records. In his most recent professional bout many years ago, Tyson lost to Kevin McBride on his stool after five rounds. Paul, on the other hand, has defeated just one opponent, Tommy Fury, last year, having won nine of his ten battles. He has defeated journeymen boxers, seasoned MMA fighters, and sportsmen from many sports. All in all, we hope Mike Tyson is healthy, and the fight goes through with no complications.
