For almost 15 years now, fans of The Breakfast Club have been able to tune into the show and hear Charlamagne Tha God serving as host. It doesn’t seem like he’ll be done any time soon but that doesn’t mean he’s avoiding the conversation about what’s next for him. Recently he was asked about it on the Flagrant podcast, where he made it clear it wasn’t the first time he’d thought about his future. Though he couldn’t give fans a concrete answer on how much time he has left, he seems to have a general idea himself.

“I personally have a number. Not even Breakfast Club, but just being a talent period. Not a financial number,” Charlamagne says over two hours into the podcast episode. For fans wondering what’s next, it appears to be a shift to a more behind the scenes role. “I like being behind the scenes a lot more nowadays. Empowering other people, watching people get their shit off, watching other people become these great entities that people love and fuck with,” he elaborated. Earlier today, Megan Thee Stallion took to Twitter/X to reveal her plan to share some exciting news with fans at her Atlanta “Hot Girl Summer” tour stop. “Special Announcement at the #hotgirlsummertour tonight,” she wrote simply, leaving fans to speculate. Of course, many theorized that she could be preparing to announce more details of her upcoming album. This is unconfirmed, though she’s been teasing it for months now. She previously claimed that it’ll arrive in time for summer, though an official release date and title have yet to be revealed.

Amid the chatter, however, Meg posted a follow-up Tweet announcing that the performance had to be postponed. According to her, a major water main break in the city left her with no choice. “Unfortunately, we will need to reschedule tonight’s show at State Farm Arena due to the massive water main break that The City of Atlanta is experiencing,” she wrote.

G-Eazy Responds To Fans Claiming He Fell Off

G-Eazy is no stranger to receiving hate from rap fans online. Despite the hate he’s been a commercially successful. As he notes in a recent appearance on Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast, he went on a pretty high-selling run of albums. 2014’s These Things Happen, 2015’s When It’s Dark Out, and 2017’s The Beautiful & The Damned all went on to reach platinum status. “We had a great run, three albums in a row went platinum. Then my mom died. And COVID, my mom passing, I just finally was like, ‘I need to reset,’” the “Me, Myself & I” rapper explains.

He returned with a new album called These Things Happen Too in 2021, but it didn’t reach nearly the same level of commercial success. As he explains in the podcast, he always knew that would be a possibility. “I needed to finally give myself a break and take some pressure off of the cycle of releasing music. And that comes at a risk,” he claims. “Then I’m reading the comments… ‘Damn, he fell off.’ I should not have done this, don’t ever Google yourself. G-Eazy Calls Out Fans Saying He Fell Off

Though G-Eazy hasn’t released a new album in three years he’s dropped a few singles in 2024 already. He confirmed elsewhere in the podcast that his next album would be called Freak Show. He’s confirmed that both the singles he dropped this year will appear on the album. The first was “Femme Fatale” which featured guest verses from Coi Leray and Kaliii. That was followed a few weeks later by the third song in his Lady Killers series “Lady Killers III.”

Unsurprisingly, the disturbing footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie at a hotel has sparked countless big reactions since it surfaced online earlier this month. Most agree that it’ll be tough, if at all possible, for the Bad Boy Records founder to bounce back reputationally. He apologized for his behavior as it went viral on social media, though it did little to quiet the explosive backlash.

During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the mother of another major force in hip-hop shared her take on the debacle, The Notorious B.I.G.’s mother Voletta Wallace. According to her, seeing it has drastically changed her perception of the mogul, who she admits she once liked. Now, however, she believes he owes a major apology to both Cassie and his own mother, Janice Combs.

50 Cent Reacts To Voletta Wallace’s Diddy Comments

“I’m sick to my stomach,” she told the outlet, “I’m praying for Cassie. I’m praying for his mother. I don’t want to believe the things that I’ve heard, but I’ve seen [the hotel video]. I pray that he apologizes to her.” Wallace continued, revealing that she has plans for Diddy the next time she sees him in person. “I hope that I see Sean one day and the only thing I want to do is slap the daylights out of him. And you can quote me on that,” she said. “Because I liked him. I didn’t want to believe all the awful things, but I’m so ashamed and embarrassed.”

Yung Miami Celebrates Her Son’s 5th Grade Prom

Yung Miami isn’t shy about being one of the proudest parents in rap. Even though the competition for that can be pretty stiff she makes a pretty good case for herself by celebrating her kids online regularly. The most recent example came from her son, who is in fifth grade. He’s already on his way to a school dance and Miami went full parent mode celebrating. She took to Instagram to share a photoshoot of her son and his date hilariously posing in a car they’re far to young to drive.

In the comments, fans have a variety of reactions to the post. Some find it totally adorable that Miami is so proud of her son. But others are trying to point out issues they have with the arrangement. “Lil Momma gotta a full face and a wig on? 😮In the 5th grade I could barely wear vaseline on my lips” one comment says in reference to the girl accompanying Miami’s son. “The only prom I got in 5th grade was PROMotion to the 6th grade 😩😭😭😭😭” another fan jokes about how young the pair are. The star shooting guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves is one of the NBA’s most promising emerging talents. The most admirable aspect of Edwards’ ascent to stardom is that he maintains his own identity throughout his ascension. His collaboration with Adidas has elevated him even higher in the public eye. We must not overlook the fact that the shoes are on fire.

After he lost in the Western Conference finals, AE and Adidas replied, releasing a new advertisement aimed at his critics, according to Complex. In the advertisement, Anthony Edwards is shown working as a machine prints receipts that include criticism from his detractors. When Cam’ron claims that Edwards “isn’t a superstar yet,” Edwards responds by calling, saying, “F*ck Buddy.” AE declares at the conclusion of the ad that this is “just the beginning,” and he won’t be leaving. All in all, It’s a slick clapback for Edwards. Additionally, now Cam’ron has also responded.

This is the latest offering from the Illinois balladeer and singer’s forthcoming project, Winter’s Diary 5. It is the 29-year-old veteran’s halo series in her discography, and it is the one that jumpstarted her career. In fact, her first four releases were all Winter’s Diary titles.

However, this fifth one will be Tink’s first in eight years, so this fan-favorite entry is a big deal. This will supersede Thanks 4 Nothing, her 2023 tape that boasted features such as Ty Dolla $ign and Yung Bleu. Another reason that this project is big news is because of one producer in particular. That would happen to be Hitmaka, who had a tumultuous relationship with Tink for quite a while.

Things got really ugly between them, including an alleged physical altercation in which Tink accused Hitmaka of, and one that the latter denied up and down.
