Saweetie’s St. Barts Vacation Photos Prove She’s Ending The Year On A High Note

We’re still waiting on Saweetie’s debut album, but that doesn’t mean the Icy Girl is leaving us totally in the dark. As she continues to craft what she hopes comes across as a cohesive body of work, we can confirm that she’s currently living her best life in St. Barths. While many stars are spending the final days of 2023 in Aspen, Saweetie decided to beat the cold weather and show off her bodacious body in glamorous outfits. In one of her latest photo dumps, the California native’s curves were sparkling in a sequin-clad dress that kept all eyes on her.

“St. barth me plzzz 🙂🛥🥂🌊✨,” she wrote in the caption on Saturday (December 30). Interestingly, many Instagram users in the comments are comparing Saweetie to another recording artist with a surgically enhanced physique. “Why do [you] look like SZA in these pics?” one person asked. “I thought it was SZA for a split second,” another agreed.

Saweetie Shimmers and Shines in St. Barts

Of course, that’s not all the content the “Best Friend” hitmaker has been sharing from her trip so far. Yesterday her feed lit up with a carousel that kicks off showing Saweetie in a sexy yellow dress, with flirty cutouts beneath her breast and on her thigh.

It looks like the fashionista was enjoying some booze while posing for photos, and Flo Milli is already praising her in the comments. Elsewhere, Benny Drama, Tay Money, and Jena Frumes are all singing Saweetie’s praises ahead of 2024. Even if she postpones her project for another year, we’re curious to see what designers she’ll don next.

Conway The Machine & Swizz Beatz Have A Collab On The Way, Griselda Alum Shares

If you still caught up with hip-hop releases during the 2023 holiday season, you probably heard Conway The Machine’s newly released collaborative tape with Westside Gunn and The Alchemist, Hall & Nash 2. Moreover, you’ll be very pleased to know that he apparently doesn’t plan to slow down his prolific release schedule at all in 2024. Not only does the Drumwork label boss have his artists to push and support, but he’s also cooking up plenty of material on his own. During an Instagram Live session on Friday (December 29), he previewed a hopefully upcoming collaboration with none other than legendary Ruff Ryders (and beyond) producer Swizz Beatz.

Unfortunately, that snippet is pretty much all the information that we have about this cut: no title, no release date, and no project it’s set to appear on. Hopefully that changes soon as both artists think of what their next moves will be. The one and only Swizz Beatz, for example, recently shared that he has enough DMX material in the vault to craft a posthumous album. It’s unclear whether he’ll actually go through with it, though, as those releases tend to be pretty difficult, let alone controversial if done with the slightest disrespect or lack of care.

Conway The Machine Previews Swizz Beatz Collab: Listen

Other than Swizz Beatz and The Alchemist, Conway The Machine linked with the likes of Big Ghost Ltd., Wun Two, Conductor Williams, and many more beatsmiths for either single releases or full-length project team-ups. Of these, we’d highly recommend you check out the Williams-led CONDUCTOR MACHINE. With the Griselda-adjacent sound becoming so popular and imitated, there’s nothing like an OG pairing to refresh its quality. That’s exactly what this duo achieved over just a few tracks, and hopefully quality continues to trump quantity.

Meanwhile, Swizz recently joined Timbaland at the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards to announce that Verzuz is making a return. If the drumless/Griselda-affiliated camp were to participate, which two MCs of this style would you like to see face off in one of these battles? Let us know in the comments section down below. In addition, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Conway The Machine and Swizz Beatz.

Donald Trump Announces Rally On Anniversary Of January 6 Capitol Attack

Donald Trump recently announced plans to hold a “commit to caucus” rally in Iowa next month. The kicker is that the event will take place on the third anniversary of the U.S. Capitol riot, which saw hundreds of his supporters storm the building. The attack resulted in countless arrests, several injuries, multiple deaths, and more.

While the timing of the event appears to be intentional, the Chairman of Iowa’s republican party Thad Nearmyer insists that it’s merely a coincidence. “When they first announced it was on Jan. 6, I didn’t even think anything of it,” he told The Daily Beast earlier this week. “And then a little bit later it kind of occurred to me that that date has some significance. “

“I would imagine that will get brought up by him,” Nearmyer added. While the event stands out as the deadliest since the War of 1812, he downplayed it in his conversation with the outlet, claiming “It wasn’t nearly as big of a deal as it was made out to be.” News of Trump’s January 6, 2024 rally comes after Maine’s Secretary of State, Shenna Bellows, announced that the disgraced former president has been removed from the state’s Presidential primary ballot. Bellows cited a 14th Amendment clause that prevents “insurrectionists” from running for President.

Colorado tried to do something similar earlier this month, but he’s now back on the ballot after the state’s republican party appealed the decision. What do you think of Donald Trump holding a rally on the third anniversary of the January 6 U.S. Capitol attack? Conor McGregor Announces MMA Return, UFC Yet To Confirm Fight

Conor McGregor has announced that he intends to return to the Octagon next June, with his opponent being long-time rival Michael Chandler. “I’d like to announce the return date for myself, ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor. The greatest comeback of all time will take place in Las Vegas, International Fight Week of June 29. The opponent, Michael Chandler — and the weight, Mr. Chandler, 185 pounds,” McGregor announced in a video on X.

However, the UFC has not officially confirmed the fight. The 185-pound weight is interesting as it’s well beyond the “natural” weight of both fighters. McGregor and Chandler both traditionally fight at 155 lbs. McGregor has previously fought as high as 170 lbs but never at 185 lbs. Furthermore, the June fight date is well after the marquee UFC 300 event in April.

Conor McGregor Tweets And Deletes Battle Rap Verse

Meanwhile, McGregor recently had a tweet-and-delete moment in a Twitter feud with a political commentator. McGregor posted a 2-minute verse aimed at Scott Moore, a political commentator and battle rapper from Northern Ireland, after Moore called McGregor “a profoundly stupid person”. McGregor’s stilted verse took aim at Moore’s appearance and Northern Irish origin. However, like many of McGregor’s tweets, it was quickly deleted from McGregor’s page. Moore still responded to McGregor’s verse with one of his own, going as far as to essentially call McGregor an English collaborator. However, his call for McGregor to face him in person was short-lived as McGregor simply chose to block him instead.

All of this stemmed from McGregor posting a selfie with the caption “Ireland, your President”. That’s what sparked the original comment from Moore. Furthermore, Moore informed McGregor that it was below the belt to go after his appearances and mannerisms as Moore suffers from a mental health condition that causes him to pick at his skin and is also autistic, meaning there are many mannerisms he can’t control. Unfortunately, the prevailing opinion online was that this was another L for the MMA great.

SZA Shares 2024 Advice For Fans About Kindness

SZA, like most of us, wants the best out of her 2024, and is trying hard to manifest the best vibes moving forward. Moreover, she recently took to Twitter to share some important advice with her followers, specifically relating to acts of kindness and our empathy towards one another. Lord knows we need more of that in the world, whether across the globe or within this specific space of the music industry. Sure, the St. Louis superstar might want to just replicate 2023 next year, as her track “Snooze” was the only song that stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 for the whole year. But she knows there are more important things to cherish and strive for.

“I don’t meditate pray and do spiritual stuff to be better than anyone,” SZA expressed on the social media platform on Wednesday (December 26). “I do it to keep from beating a**.” Two days later, she returned to Twitter with a message along a similar vein, and one that crystallizes what she wants to uphold next year. “Bruh everybody human everybody feels,” the “Ghost In The Machine” singer added. “Everybody has a right to beat [your] a** upon being disrespected so let’s be kind to another unless u can fight in 2024 ok?”

SZA Gives Fans Her Advice For 2024

With this in mind, hopefully SZA is able to fully achieve this and have the best year of her life so far, as we all should work towards. But she couldn’t let go of 2023 before answering one more question from fans: what’s she singing on Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy”? Furthermore, the 34-year-old finally clarified this on her Instagram Story, sharing the lyrics in question. A snippet: “You been so good and you deserve to end your suffering, I need good d**k and conversation, can you comfort me?”

Meanwhile, maybe Summer Walker will hop on a remix of her track with Ty Dolla $ign and The Neptunes, “Hit Different,” based on some recent social media activity. Is this the first new release from the TDE darling we’ll get in 2024, which will hopefully be a kinder and more empathetic year? Or are we finally getting Lana? Boosie Badazz Has A Theory On His Lack Of Award Nominations

Boosie Badazz is no stranger to airing his unfiltered opinions online, but according to the Louisiana native, it doesn’t come without a cost. Last week, the hitmaker took to social media to share his theory on why he doesn’t get nominated for as many awards as he deserves. He claims that while his musical abilities are undeniable, his outspokenness may be a bit too much for those in charge.

He shared a couple of clips from his “Rocket Man” and “Black & Beautiful” music videos on Thursday alongside his theory. “ROCKETMAN N BLACK AND BEAUTIFUL,” he wrote. “DO YALL THINK MY MUSIC DONT GET NOMINATED FOR AWARDS BECAUSE I KEEP IT REAL AND SPEAK MY MIND ON THINGS THAT I DONT AGREE WITH??? BECAUSE NOBODY MAKES MUSIC LIKE BOOSIE[.] DO WE NOT CHERISH BLACK WOMEN ANYMORE? LISTEN TO THE LYRICS ON ROCKETMAN.”

Boosie Badazz Thinks It’s Because He Speaks His Mind

Boosie’s social media antics and frequent chats with DJ Vlad have gotten him in some hot water in the past. This is particularly true when it comes to his kids. At the beginning of December, for example, his take on his daughter’s new relationship earned the personality quite a bit of backlash. “You can cheat on her, but don’t beat on her,” Boosie said of the 21-year-old. “Just don’t hit her n***a. Love her, I don’t give a f*ck what you do. Just don’t hit her.”

While some found his comments concerning, he was quick to clap back, urging critics to reflect on their own parents’ behavior before questioning his. “WHAT RAPPER [YOU] KNOW GOT MULTIPLE BABY MOMMAS N THEY KIDS ALL GREW UP LOVING EACH OTHER, TRAVELING WITH EACH OTHER. [WHO ELSE] HAS ALWAYS BEEN N THEY LIVES AS A DADDY N PROVIDED FOR THEM ALL,” he added. What do you think of Boosie Badazz’s theory on why he doesn’t get nominated for awards? Do you agree with him? Halle Bailey Baby Inquiries Annoy DDG During Snapchat Q&A

As millions of people around the world raise questions about whether Halle Bailey and DDG are parents or not, the young couple is staying tight-lipped on their situation. Even if the 23-year-old was expecting this year, that didn’t stop her from stepping outside to attend events and award shows, or from visiting the stunning tropics with her man ahead of the holiday season. Just a few days ago, they celebrated their second anniversary together, and internet sleuths couldn’t help but notice that Bailey called her man “daddy.”

This is just the latest in a series of clues suggesting DDG is a new father. Others include a crying baby heard in the back of his recent YouTube video, as well as a present with the name Halo on it, which the “Elon Musk” artist has said he would love to name a child. Even if he is basking in the joy of expanding his family, DDG doesn’t want to talk about it with fans quite yet. He made this abundantly clear during a Snapchat Q&A session, where he clearly set some boundaries with those interrogating him about Bailey’s rumoured pregnancy.

DDG Refuses to Answer Some of His Fans’ Burning Questions

“Bro, I don’t know why people [are] so invested in what I got going on or what we got going on… Mind your business,” the Michigan native replied in an annoyed tone of voice. “So invested in people who don’t know you. I ain’t gon’ lie, like, I love my supporters and s**t, but in real life, bruh, I don’t know y’all. That’s just the truth. You guys, just let me live my life… Whatever’s going on in my life or her life, bro, is not going to change yours.”

Amid the rumours about Halle Bailey potentially giving birth to a baby boy, her big sister, Chloe, is in the news for shocking reasons of her own. After a night out at the club this holiday season, the In Pieces songstress was spotted leaving with “Rack City” hitmaker Tyga. Did Toni Braxton And Birdman Get Married?

Is “Hurt You” singer Toni Braxton going into 2024 as a married woman? Yesterday (December 30), her younger sister Tamar Braxton certainly made it appear that way. During an Instagram Live broadcast, fans bombard Tamar with questions about the status of Toni and Cash Money Records CEO Birdman’s relationship, brought forth by a rumor spreading across social media that the duo eloped in a private ceremony in Mexico.

Joined by her fiancee Jeremy “JR” Robinson, Tamar joked, “Let me find out they (Toni and Birdman) got married before us,” adding, “But, they’ve been together 14,000 umpteen years!”

So, did Toni Braxton and Birdman get married? According to Toni, the answer is flat-out and unequivocally no. The notoriously private singer rushed to her official Instagram page to shut down the chatter. “My dear friend Birdman and I are not married. [We’ve] never been married. We are both single,” wrote Toni.

Not only are the pair not husband and wife, but based on Toni’s note, the duo are no longer dating. Toni and Birdman established a working relationship in 2022 after working on the song “Baby You Can Do It.” Their friendship remained over the decade until they took things to another level in 2016, when they confirmed their relationship. By 2018, they were engaged. It is unclear when they officially split.

MC Shan Dismisses Dr. Umar’s Eminem Comments: “You Know That N***a Nice”

The GOAT debate is one of the pillars of hip-hop community discussion, and one contender in particular carries more baggage than most. Eminem is widely respected as one of the most impactful and skilled lyricists in rap history, but his status as the biggest rapper paired with the fact that he’s white doesn’t sit well with many. Dr. Umar Johnson recently reopened this grievance, saying that to call Em the best rapper of all time would be “white supremacy.” Many took issue with this dismissal, including Queensbridge legend MC Shan, who recently blasted Umar on Instagram Live on Saturday (December 30).

“Mister motherf***ing Umar, you just make everything a race thing, n***a,” MC Shan exclaimed. “Everything ain’t no f***ing race thing. Eminem– motherf***er, you know that n***a nice. Em deserves a motherf***ing slot in this game! Em wasn’t no rich motherf***er that come and rob the rap game, and step off. Em motherf***ing came in this motherf***er, he had more problems than any Black n***a. His plate was just as f***ed up as some of us in the Black community. Nobody’s robbing us.

MC Shan Defends Eminem Against Dr. Umar’s Dismissal: Watch

“If you don’t wanna respect him, you do what you do, n***a,” MC Shan continued. “We don’t f**k with you anyway like that, n***a. We talk our hip-hop s**t. You talking Black racial, Black f***ing culture rhythm. Yeah, we on that, but n***a, we don’t f**k with that s**t. Leave us over here. Em is down with us, son.” Furthermore, this is ironic because, in his double-down of this perspective, Umar made it clear that he has no personal issue with Eminem. His artistry is undeniable, but he called to attention people who call him the best, which to him is blasphemous.

Meanwhile, Shan got out of a feud with Nas earlier this year, so maybe there will be a reconciliation with the media figure down the line. Both men are definitely not alone in their indignation, and it’s a conversation that might persist for the rest of time. As long as Slim Shady is relevant and beloved, we’ll get so many differing perspectives on what his legacy should be. On that note, come back to HNHH for more news and updates on Eminem, Dr. Umar, and MC Shan.
