Drake Trolls Miami Fans About His Retirement: “I’m Thinking About Leaving Music Behind”

It’s been an eventful run for Drake on the It’s All A Blur tour. Joined by 21 Savage, the Canadian rapper has hit city-to-city across North America for the first time in five years. Each night of the tour is marked by special guests, giveaways, and a catalog of his greatest hits that go back to 2010. However, after releasing about four albums in a little over two years and building an empire, you could imagine that he probably needs a break at some point soon.

During his show in Miami on Saturday (Sept. 30), the rapper jokingly told the crowd that he was about to hang up the microphone for good. “This might be my last show ever because I’m thinking of leaving music behind,” he said before making it clear that he was only kidding. “I’m f**king with you! I’m f**king with you!” Still, it seems like the idea of retirement has been mulling in his mind for a while.

Although he told the crowd in Miami that it was just a joke, he’s previously discussed the possibilities of retirement in the past. During an interview with Lil Yachty, Drake recalled a time when he thought he would retire by 35. However, the thought of a “graceful exit” has been lingering in the mind of the 36-year-old rapper. “I think I’m at the point now where I just wanna like — I feel like maybe we talked about this the other day. I feel like I’m kinda introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit,” he said.

The rapper is currently gearing up for his final dates on the It’s All A Blur tour with 21 Savage. The Canadian rapper will perform back-to-back shows in Toronto, ON this weekend. Before that, he’ll host an episode of Table For One on Thursday night ahead of For All The Dogs‘ release. Presumably, he’ll debut the album on his Sirius XM channel. Suge Knight Says He Deserves Early Prison Release

Suge Knight says that his rights as a defendant were violated in several ways during his 2015 hit-and-run case, and in turn, he wants an early release from prison. The former Death Row Records founder is serving 28 years after pleading no contest to voluntary manslaughter for a fatal hit-and-run. He discussed the state of his case during an interview with AllHipHop.

“So an unfixable error, the only thing you got to do is you got to make a deal and let me go home or show I was right or you let me take my plea back and start all over,” he told the outlet. “But it’d be harder to start all over because you did all this bullshit with my case.”

“This [is] my bed,” he further told AllHipHop. “If they allowed me to go to trial, I would have won my case. I would have beat my case. But they didn’t. OK, I understand that, right? My crime carries two, six, 11 [years], if I was guilty. They gave me–naturally, they going to give me the high term, right? So my past, who I am, definitely is going to make sure I get some time. And I’m fine with that. But you don’t have the right to double me up.”

He continued: “You don’t have the right to give me time and a half. You don’t have the right to not let me have a lawyer. So, I wasn’t pushing the envelope as hard at first because I know I got to do some time. But I’ve been gone for nine years, so I did my time already.” The comments come after Knight recently discussed the arrest of Keefe D in the killing of 2Pac. Knight told TMZ that he has no interest in testifying in the case.

Usher Catches Heat For Ridiculous Balenciaga Fashion Show Outfit

Usher is having a great moment right now. Overall, he has his Las Vegas residency which has proven to be a massive success. Moreover, he is going to be performing at the Super Bowl in February, which is going to be a whole lot of fun. At this point in his career, he is getting his flowers, and it is truly nice to see. With the excitement for his Super Bowl performance mounting, it feels like we have seen a bit more of him recently. For instance, he was at a Balenciaga Fashion show this past weekend.

Unfortunately, Usher was utterly roasted for his choice of attire for the show. As you can see in the Instagram post below, the singer was wearing a face mask that had randomly cut holes all the way throughout. He also had on some wild boots, some crazy pants, a blazer, and what appeared to be a turtleneck. It was an absolutely ridiculous get-up, and he was promptly destroyed for it on social media. @fitaintnothing on IG showed no mercy, as can be seen in the caption below.

While these are all harsh critiques, they serve as a “what not to do” for when Usher takes the stage in February. Hopefully, he doesn’t take it too personally. Meanwhile, Kelce is reportedly “completely smitten” with Swift and the pair “talks every day”. This week, Kelce liked several social media posts showing Swift’s enthusiastic reaction to various big moments during the Chiefs-Jets game she attended with the likes of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. It was the second consecutive Chiefs game Swift had attended.

However, while the Vikings are excited to have Swift in attendance, they don’t plan on going easy on Kelce. “Oh man, the social media is going crazy. And I’m not hating against it. That’s the world we’re living in. Is she going to come to this game? We’re locked in, but that would be something. I’ve been watching her since I was a kid. That would be cool, for sure. Not for him, because we’re going to try to get our hands on him in front of her,” cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. told reporters. Furthermore, Murphy Jr. promised some Swift-related trash talk to “get him [Kelce] going”.

The Chiefs will enter this matchup 3-1, having bounced back after their Week 1 loss to the Lions. Meanwhile, the Vikings are 1-3 after earning their first win of the year in Week 4. Kelce has 155 yards and two touchdowns on 17 catches through three games played. The Vikings lost their last matchup against the Chiefs back in 2019. However, they beat Kansas City in the game in their 2015 meeting.

“At first I don’t think people was f**king with him,” Sexxy Red said. “They thought he was racist, saying little sh*t against women. But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving people that free money. Aw baby, we love Trump. We need him back in office.”

The free money Sexxy Red refers to are stimulus checks during the pandemic, which Trump was known to have stamped his signature on.

Retired NBA legend Michael Jordan just became the first athlete ranked among America’s wealthiest people on the Forbes 400 list. Jordan, who has been a billionaire since 2014, catapulted onto the Forbes 400 list this year following the sale of the Charlotte Hornets in August for $3 billion. The former pro basketballer had been the team’s majority owner since 2010, when he bought the franchise for $275 million. Jordan built his fame through his 15 seasons with the NBA, but Forbes notes that his fortune largely stemmed from his off-court ventures.

For instance, Jordan earned $94 million during his time with the NBA, but he has scored an estimated $2.4 billion in pre-tax earnings from branding deals with McDonald’s, Gatorade and Nike — with the latter representing a sizable portion of his wealth. His most recent annual royalty check from Nike was for $260 million, Forbes notes.

Since Michael Jordan stepped onto an NBA court for the first time in 1984, earning an outsized payday has been a layup. Across his 15 NBA seasons, he hauled in $94 million and was the league’s highest-paid player in 1997 and 1998. But it was off the court where Jordan put serious air between himself and every other athlete on the planet, earning an estimated $2.4 billion (pre-tax) over his career with brands such as McDonald’s, Gatorade, Hanes and, of course, Nike, where his most recent yearly royalty check was for some $260 million.

Jordan had his biggest score in August, though, when he sold his majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets at an eye-watering $3 billion valuation. Even if he had sold at Forbes’ most recent valuation, an estimated $1.7 billion in 2022, it would have been a coup for the 60-year-old Hall of Famer. Instead, the 27th most valuable franchise in the NBA traded hands for the second-highest sale price in league history and nearly 17 times its value when Jordan became principal owner in 2010.

That places him in rare air. With an estimated net worth of $3 billion, Jordan has arrived on The Forbes 400, marking the first time a professional athlete has ranked among America’s wealthiest individuals.

Fetty Wap is getting all the pictures off in prison, following up on some previously dropped images from August. In the new set, Fetty is shown to have found some friends, posing with a crew of guys while wearing a crew neck and skully.

Fetty Wap is currently serving six years in prison for his role in a multi-million-dollar drug trafficking ring.

The New York Daily News reports Fetty Wap, born William Junior Maxwell II, was charged with conspiring of distributing over 100 kilos of heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine from the West Coast for sale in New Jersey and Long Island.

In 2022, Fetty Wap pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess cocaine. After the plea, Fetty’s lawyers attempted to secure the five-year minimum as a sentence, citing his role in the trafficking was a result of financial strain due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“With the coming of the worldwide pandemic, things began to change for Mr. Maxwell. There were no opportunities to perform, thus his income was severely limited. He was sued personally, was going through a divorce, and was involved with a tour manager who was stealing from him. While the bills kept coming in, the money to pay them was running out,” his lawyer, Elizabeth Macedonio, wrote.

In opposition, prosecutors were pushing for a nine-year sentence and even used his hit single “Trap Queen,” citing it as a history of a pattern. “Trap Queen” was used as a tribute song to an ex-girlfriend who helped distribute it in Patterson, NJ.

Law enforcement busted the drug ring, collecting $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilos of cocaine, two more of heroin, and several fentanyl pills. Additionally, two 9-mm handguns, a rifle, a .45 caliber pistol, a .40 caliber pistol, and ammunition were recovered.

SOURCE SPORTS: James Harden Tells 76ers to Build Team and Give Him "Whatever is Left" in New Contract

James Harden is ready to shake up training camp for the Philadephia 76ers. After no-showing Media Day, Harden is now set to attend the Moby Arena at Colorado State University for camp.

According to ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski, there are no details of whether Harden will practice. Speaking on the impending arrival of Harden is new Sixers head coach Nick Nurse. “If he’s here tomorrow, like we’ve said on everything, we will get ready to make some adjustments on everything,” Nurse said.

On Friday, Harden received 25% of his contract, following the 25% paid to him on July 1.

Other players on the Sixers would welcome back Harden. Tyrese Maxey stated he would be welcomed back to the “brotherhood.”

The Sixers open practice on Sunday at TD Garden against the Boston Celtics.
