One of the best sneakers ever created is the Nike Air Force 1 Low. Even if you aren’t a sneakerhead, you know of this shoe. Overall, it was created back in 1982 and was the first Nike shoe to get a retro. Subsequently, it became a staple of everyone’s sneaker closet. It is just an incredibly versatile shoe that can do it all. Moreover, there are plenty of iconic versions of this shoe, including the triple-white and triple-black offerings. No matter what, this shoe will always be an icon.
Last year, the AF1 celebrated its 40th anniversary. This was huge for a multitude of reasons. Of course, Nike decided to celebrate this massive anniversary with a plethora of great colorways. Although there were quite a few retros to release, the Beaverton brand also made time for some new offerings. Fans are always looking for the next great thing, and Nike certainly tried their best to offer that. Now, in 2023, Nike has plans for a whole lot more in the Air Force 1 Low department.
Above and below, you can find the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Orange Streaks.” That is by no means the official name of the shoe, however, that is what some publications are calling it. Once again, Nike has come through with a beautiful, clean model that will get fans excited. Firstly, this shoe is covered from head to toe with white materials. From leather overlays to canvas side panels, this sneaker has nice textures. Moreover, the Nike swoosh is orange with some white paintbrush streaks. This is an aesthetic that can also be found on the back heel tab and the tongue.
As it stands, this shoe does not have a release date. However, you can expect to get them soon for a price of $130 USD. It is unfortunate that Chris Brown’s son has been dragged into social media antics, but Tommie Lee fueled the flame. Natalie Nuun and Baddies star Rollie shared the story of the group attending Brown’s show in London. They said they were backstage when Lee saw little Aeko Brown, apparently with his mother, Ammika Harris. Lee allegedly gestured to Aeko or said something about him, resulting in Harris closing the door on her. Witnesses claimed Lee took offense, turning the moment into an altercation.
The argument spilled over to another area where Lee and Nunn got into another fight. The ladies will meet in the ring for their celebrity boxing match tomorrow (February 25), and while some believed this was all for promo, others accused Lee of being intoxicated and unruly. Later, she hopped on Livestream to share her side of the story, including insulting Brown, Harris, and their son.
Following a wave of backlash, Lee returned with an apology. She stated she loves children and said, “I just want to apologize to Chris Brown and his baby mother ‘cause it’s not my character.” Artists like Sada Baby came forward with a scathing reaction, and the heated responses haven’t ended. Lee was preparing for another press conference with Nunn when she once again appeared in a video to offer another apology to Brown.
“I didn’t mean that ’bout the baby. I was hot. I was really, really hot tryin’ to make a point,” she said in the clip. “I would not kick down a door about a baby. I love y’all, I love Chris Brown and his baby. He’s gorgeous, he gorgeous to me. When I say his eyes was cocked like a pistol, I mean he got big eyes. And when I say albino, I ain’t racist. It is such thing as albino. I love the baby. He had nothing to do with it. Y’all took it the wrong way. I’mma talk how I talk.”
Lee’s latest apology also received a negative reaction from the public. Brown has not addressed the controversy, as he’s entertaining fans from one stage to the next. Joell Ortiz and KXNG Crooked linked up once again to drop a brand new EP, JFKLAX. Moreover, the title references both MCs’ respective home cities, although that distance doesn’t reflect the quality of the music. In fact, both rappers are in top lyrical form on this project, which is unsurprising given their old-school credentials. Furthermore, you’ll find intricate rhyme patterns, cutting punchlines, and classic flows all over this short five-track offering. That length only adds to the project’s consistency and enjoyability, as they deliver focused verses.
Overall, JFKLAX is also a pretty effective combination of classic boom-bap beats and a more contemporary trap-style beat on the track “Foe Or Friend.” Still, most of this project’s instrumental pallet comes from its heavy sampling. These sonic backgrounds bring triumphant horns, dramatic piano chords, and deep, bassy percussion to elevate the frequent collaborators‘ performance. If you’ve ever liked an East Coast rapper, this project likely holds a captivating beat or collection of verses within.
However, not everyone received some of Crooked and Ortiz’s previous collabs well, particularly some of their colleagues. Furthermore, the other two members of their supergroup Slaughterhouse, Royce da 5’9″ and Joe Budden, expressed criticism of the duo’s 2022 project, Rise & Fall Of Slaughterhouse, which did not feature Royce or Budden. “For me, it was a little anticlimactic. It was like a rollercoaster. You watch it go up. It’s going up and it’s going up, and you expect the– and then you’re let down.” After all, they expected the album to be about them, but they didn’t find any such references.
Still, a lot of the group’s disagreements and internal fights are quite unfortunate considering the caliber of lyricism they represent. It’s been a primarily rap-heavy weekend in terms of new albums, with Logic, Key Glock, and Yeat among those sharing new projects today (February 24). Thankfully for R&B lovers, Tink has come through with her second release in less than a year, this one called Thanks 4 Nothing. The 14-track release finds the vocalist mostly holding her own, though she did call in two industry favourites for help.
On the super sensual “Let Down My Guard,” the Illinois native and Ty Dolla $ign take turns trading bars. Elsewhere, TANTRA hitmaker Yung Bleu shows out on “Stingy” while preparing to drop an album of his own later this year. “Toxic” was the first Thanks 4 Nothing single Tink fed her fans. More recently, she teased her project with “Fake Love,” later following the single with a music video.
After working with him on 2022’s Pillow Talk and 2021’s Heat Of The Moment, the 27-year-old reunited with Hitmaka once again on her latest release. Throughout her lyrics, she chiefly navigates her past mistakes and the lessons learned from them in the aftermath of a toxic relationship.
Near the middle of the tracklist, we hear her rejoining the dating world and expressing fears of being hurt again on “Trust Issues.” By the time the final title, “New N*gga” rolls around, Tink makes it clear that she’s finally moved on with another man who won’t leave her crying due to infidelity.
Few artists have been coming with the same consistency as the “CAP” singer. Prior to her aforementioned albums, she shared Hopeless Romantic in 2020 and 2019 saw her unveil Voicemails. It’s still early in the year, so here’s hoping we hear more from Tink in the coming months.

Yesterday (Feb. 23), a US District Judge sentenced R Kelly to 20 years in prison in his Chicago child pornography case. Judge Harry D. Leinenweber stated 19 of those years will run concurrently with his existing 30-year sentence out of New York, totaling 31 overall. Following the news, RadarOnline has obtained details regarding the now-infamous sex tape of R. Kelly and a then-14-year-old girl. According to their knowledge, several extortionists on the black market pushed the revolting clip to media outlets back in 2019.
This comes one month after the airing of Surviving R. Kelly: The Final Chapter, where more deplorable information about the singer was released. RadarOnline shares that during the series’ earlier installments, the black market sellers peddled the sex tape to different companies in exchange for money. Copies of it were offered starting at $900 to an astounding $100,000. The news is confirmed by National Enquirer, who attempted to expose the extortionists after the tape was sent to their office as well. The woman in the tape, now 31 years old, shared details about her relationship with Robert Kelly during his Chicago trial.
Disturbingly enough, more tapes have been found of R. Kelly with underage women, including one with the late Aaliyah. One of his victims, survivor Ebonié Doyle, detailed how she unearthed them during her interview with journalist Jim DeRogatis. Doyle told DeRogatis “I see this basket full of tapes, and I’m like, ‘Well, maybe I’ll just grab one of these tapes… That’s when I discovered that he’d been lying to me about Aaliyah.” The VHS she chose showed footage of the young songstress having intimate relationships with R Kelly on a tour bus. everything that I had asked him was confirmed on the tape,” she adds. This apparently led to a full-blown argument between the two upon Kelly’s return home.
Several unsettling stories have come out of the Surviving R. Kelly: The Final Chapter regarding Aaliyah. The two collaborators married when she was a mere 15 years old—at the time they lied and said she was 18. Following this, the singer’s family signed an NDA regarding the relationship. The evidence was presented during R. Kelly’s federal trial in 2002.

James Harden is a player who has bounced around the league quite a bit since 2020. After starting the 2020-2021 season with the Houston Rockets, Harden was subsequently traded to the Brooklyn Nets. From there, he lasted about a season and a half before going to the Philadelphia 76ers. Overall, Harden was going through a transitional period in his career. Having said that, it only made sense that he would want to explore a variety of teams.
At this point, Harden seems to be at home with the Sixers. He has been playing exceptionally well, and overall, the team is now third in the Eastern Conference. Furthermore, they have a real chance to make some noise in the playoffs. Harden is older and wiser, meaning he could be able to shake off those demons from the playoffs’ past. At the end of the day, there are fewer expectations on him now, which could very well make it easier for him to get it done under pressure.
Moreover, this is also a big year for Harden because he can become a free agent at the end of the season. Now, reports are circulating that Harden may actually go back to the team where he had the most success. Yes, that’s right, a Harden-Rockets reunion may be on the horizon. According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN, even Houston is preparing for it to happen. “James Harden still spends a lot of time in Houston,” MacMahon said. “Spends his summers in Houston. Works out at the Rockets’ facility on a regular basis. It’s a very real possibility. And Harden, by the way, never shot it down. He just said ‘I don’t know where that came from.’”
These rumors have been circulating since around Christmas time. However, it is hard to see why Harden would want to go back there given the fact that the Rockets are terrible right now. Nicki Minaj is asking the court for a default judgement after a blogger she sued for false reports ignored her filing. Moreover, Marley Green, better known as Nosey Heaux, accused Nicki of being a cokehead and made some disparaging comments about her son. While everything set itself in place for the court proceedings, the only missing thing is Green’s response. Furthermore, since she’s failed to address the lawsuit, the New York-raised MC wants the case resolved without her input. Overall, this could mean that the superstar rapper might get close to her requested damages of $75,000.
According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Minaj’s lawyer Judd Burstein made such requests on Thursday (February 23). Additionally, he asked the Clerk of the Court to issue a certificate of default in the case. “Defendants have not answered or otherwise moved with respect to the complaint and the time for them to do so has expired,” they stated. When Nicki sued Green in September of 2022, attorney Bobby Samini agreed to represent and accept service for Green the following October. However, even though Burstein sent Green and her team a summons and complaint via email that month, they had to extend the December deadline for response to January 16 of this year.
Still, it was all crickets on Green’s end. “The Defendants herein have outrageously defamed [Nicki Minaj] by posting a video on their Twitter page in which Defendant Marley Green, who goes by the name of ‘Nosey Heaux,’ falsely and maliciously stated that [Nicki Minaj] is a ‘cokehead’ who is ‘shoving all this cocaine up her nose,’” Nicki’s lawyer wrote in the original lawsuit. “Further evidencing a fundamental lack of decency, Green has also posted vile comments about [Nicki Minaj’s] one year-old son. While these comments are not actionable, they nonetheless demonstrate why punitive damages should be awarded in this case.”
Also, Burstein maintained that his client never used cocaine. In addition, he insisted that Green acted with “actual malice” because she “knew that there was a high probability that it was false.” Meanwhile, at least the “Anaconda” artist has more bright things to look forward to this year. For several weeks now, celebrities and fashion lovers alike have been flocking to various cities all over the world to catch the countless designer runway shows taking place this season. We’ve already seen the stars take over cities like New York, Paris, and London. Now, things are unfolding in beautiful Milan, where the Gucci F/W 2023/24 collection made its debut earlier today (February 24).
The fashion show was the first designed by creative director Sabato De Sarno, who took over at the Italian house last September. The collection included several bold sheer moments, as well as dramatic fur coats, sleep businesswear, and pops of bold colour. Among those sitting in the audience to take in the runway were DDG and Halle Bailey, who have been aggressively fighting off breakup rumours this month.
