Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR have OVO fans foaming at the mouth for their highly anticipated collab album, which is apparently supposed to come out this fall. While the window on that is closing every day, a lot of recent teases from both Toronto artists about their team-up inspired a lot of hope that it’s right around the corner. The latest fuel to this fire came from PND himself, who recently spoke to The Fry Yiy Show. During his appearance on the platform, he shared that he and the 6ix God only have a few finishing touches to add to the project, and he also expressed his excitement for it.
“I have had an insane week,” PARTYNEXTDOOR remarked. “So… You guys know what’s coming for you. PARTY and Drake have a classic. And we, you know, we trying to put the finishing touches on it, so… Yeah, it’s a jam-packed month for me filled with the thing that I love to do the most. Besides being a great dad, the world’s greatest dad. But that’s besides the point.” Hardcore fans know how much potential there is here for this collab album to be something truly special. A lot of online users thought that Nicki Minaj shaded the duo for working with or publicly supporting Latto and Ice Spice, two of Nicki’s femcee opps. Appearing on Nas’ monumental Illmatic album as well as the under the radar silver screen flick Zebrahead, Halftime was the smash single that put Nasty Nas in the position to be considered the “Second Coming” of lyrical pioneer Rakim by none other than The Source Magazine, who gave Nasty the coveted Five Mic rating for the landmark album.
Produced by Large Professor, who found his way onto Nas’ album by way of the LP’s other incomparable single, “It Ain’t Hard To Tell,” this song was the catalyst that launched the Illmatic project and Nas’ illustrious career.

The Weeknd has a pretty strong claim to the title of biggest artist in the world, and he’s not only surpassing others in that process, but also himself. Moreover, he once again broke the record for most Spotify monthly listeners worldwide, now past the 120 million mark. The last person to break the record for the most Spotify monthly listeners was… Well, Abel Tesfaye himself. In addition, he also reportedly became the first artist to have 19 songs with over 1 billion streams on the platform, and it probably won’t be long before he hits 20. However, some reports suggest that he already hit 20 or is still at 18, so it’s a bit unclear at the moment.
Regardless, there’s no doubt that The Weeknd will surpass this goal soon, and will probably create a lot of other records through his outstanding commercial performance. As for what could’ve caused this rise in monthly listeners, it’s likely that the Playboi Carti collab “Timeless” contributed to a surge in listenership and commercial performance. Given how excited fans were for it and how much this duo has captivated them before, it also helps that they received the new record quite well.

Last week, for example, all but his youngest child were seen filing into the courthouse to support him during his hearing. “The kids were very happy to support their father,” a source told People. “The whole family was. Jay-Z and Meek Mill launched the REFORM Alliance back in 2019, and since then, it’s continued to advocate for prison reform and more protection for the human rights of those in the criminal justice system. The alliance’s latest achievement was passing a global resolution with the United Nations to further ensure protected rights for people leaving prison, on probation, or on parole. According to a press release, REFORM worked with Costa Rica and 120 different organizations from 49 countries, and participants unanimously adopted the UN resolution advocating for the human rights of folks returning to society after jail time.
As far as what the United Nations resolution contains, it outlines concrete ideas for governments to ensure the safety and inclusion of communities everywhere. These particularly focus on re-entry support, combating the stigma of incarceration, and advocating for economic inclusion. Not only that, but this REFORM resolution has been in the works for over two years. It began publicly with a statement from 74 countries to the Human Rights Council last year. A study on effective practices followed this year, and subsequent negotiations assured its adoption.

We haven’t uncovered all the lyrical details in GloRilla’s new album GLORIOUS, but one hint in particular really stuck out to fans on first listen. The bar in question lies in the track “RAIN DOWN ON ME” alongside Kirk Franklin, Maverick City Music, Kierra Sheard, and Chandler Moore. “Watch over my family, Lord, and watch over all of my partners / And even though he hate me, Lord, watch over my baby father,” she rapped on the cut. As such, fans wondered whether this means that the Memphis femcee had a child or if she’s currently pregnant. But it turns out that there’s another possible interpretation that actually sounds more plausible.
That’s because this isn’t the first time that GloRilla alluded to her being pregnant. “Found out I was pregnant, got it gone, and I ain’t f**k since,” she rapped on “Nut Quick.” Some fans think that the “WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME” artist suggested that she aborted the baby, something that she addressed again in January of 2023. “Y’all slow as f**k,” she responded to a fan who was talking about a resurfaced picture of Glo seemingly caressing her baby bump. “I was just playing on that picture.
