Bobbi Althoff Seemingly Pulls Up To Kendrick Lamar’s Music Video Shoot In Compton

There are a lot of rumors surrounding a Kendrick Lamar music video shoot in Compton this weekend, and there’s very little concrete information to go by. The big assumption is that this will be for “Not Like Us,” but it’s also possible that it’s for another project or track entirely, so we’ll have to wait and see. However, if it is for the Mustard-produced Drake diss track, it will be one heck of an ironic shoot from what the shindig’s rumored guest list indicates. Moreover, new clips of Bobbi Althoff with YG and a big crowd emerged online which placed her in Compton for this video shoot.

Furthermore, she obviously sticks out like a sore thumb in the clips below, and if she really is going to be in a Kendrick Lamar music video, we’re sure that “Not Like Us” would point out this contrast in quite the ironic or playful manner. But it still seems pretty bizarre, so we’ll need more context by the time (or if) this rumored visual drops. For those unaware, Bobbi Althoff rose to fame as a social media personality and interviewer with an awkward humor and casual demeanor to her. It got her both love and hate all over the Internet, and also landed her an interview with none other than Drake that then resulted in an allegedly soured relationship with a lot of salacious and odd claims emerging about them.

Bobbi Althoff In “Bompton,” Possibly For Kendrick Lamar Music Video Shoot

As such, this all sounds like a recipe for a master Drake troll if this is really Kendrick Lamar’s move and plan for it, albeit one that could blow up in his face easily. Like we mentioned before, we’re going to need to understand the context behind this in a pretty crystal clear manner. Regardless, this is part of the massive hype that “The Pop Out” reignited on Juneteenth in Los Angeles, so we’ll see what happens with the alleged music video. Maybe there’s an inside joke here that we can’t understand yet.

Meanwhile, Drake hasn’t said much about Kendrick Lamar’s recent moves, except a potential message in an IG Story message to his head of security and OVO member Chubbs. The thought of his reaction to Bobbi Althoff possibly linking up with K.Dot is quite comical. Does Drizzy want some due credit for putting Althoff on, or does he expect loyalty from her? Either way, we’d expect a subliminal about her being “not like” them at some point.

Roger Bonds Thinks Diddy & Cassie Assault Video Proves The Truth Behind All Their Stories

Roger Bonds’ recent interview with DJ Vlad on VladTV continues to provide some interesting claims and insights into the Diddy situation. Moreover, the Bad Boy mogul’s former bodyguard told Vlad of how he perceived the reaction to the video of Sean Combs assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway. Bonds told the story of how Puffy was intoxicated in this incident, and how many folks initially expressed skepticism at abuse claims that he and Cassie brought forth against Puff Daddy. However, Bonds also revealed how the release of the video also made him feel slightly vindicated, as the narrative they painted around their former colleague could no longer be denied, at least in part.

Of course, Diddy’s multiple other lawsuits and accusations of sexual assault, abuse, and sex trafficking aren’t all immediately proven by a single video. What the clip did show us is that at least this specific incident occurred, regardless of how it paints other accusations. It’s still very much a gray area, since there hasn’t been a lot of explicit legal development when it comes to the search for accountability. Hopefully this changes soon with more details and investigations that get further to the truth behind all these accusations.

Roger Bonds On Diddy & Cassie Video Validating Testimonies

Still, recent changes and actions suggest that Diddy will take a public backseat for a while. For example, he and his team recently wiped his Instagram account’s posts completely, one of which was a video apology to Cassie after this video leaked. The music executive and businessman’s team relayed that he still stands by the apology despite taking it down. They also denied the idea that he took his posts down for any particular reason.

Meanwhile, others spent their time recently thinking of ways in which Diddy could escape this public scrutiny, including Michael Blackson. “There’s probably three ways [for him] coming back to life,” he suggested. “Probably the Nation Of Islam. Number one, probably, right? You know, go out there, go talk to [Louis] Farrakhan, join the team. I mean put him on the street [to] sell bean pies, like they did back in [the] 90s. Two, just join the LGBTQIE [sic]. I’m not sure if I missed any letters or not. Join them […] Turn into a pastor [or] something; turn into a Ma$e. Y’know, become a pastor, or just pack this s**t and go to some village somewhere and change your name.”

G-Eazy Divulges On Why He Is “Freak Show” On 7th Studio Abum

Gerald Earl Gillum, popularly known as G-Eazy, has come through with Freak Show, ending a three-year album hiatus. The 35-year-old Oakland-based rapper and singer, like past projects, is bringing a mixture of genres to the table. You will hear pop-punk, pop rap, emo, some rock, and everything in between, which is pretty impressive given there are just 12 songs to be had. Leading up to this seventh studio effort, G-Eazy did share quite a bit of the tracklist before this weekend. To be exact, a third of the LP was released over the last three months.

It started with the fan-maligned “Femme Fatale”, a sex-positive and hedonistic anthem featuring Coi Leray and Kaliii. That would be followed up by “Lady Killers III”, continuing the series after the second dropped in March. Then, G-Eazy delivered his most personal track out of the crop with “Love You Forever”, which is about his deceased mother who passed back in 2021. Finally, “Anxiety”, which is the now the closing track to Freak Show, sees him wrestle with his inner voice. Overall, G-Eazy troubled but unapologetic about what it took to get to this point. In fact, he spoke with USA Today, according to People, about that very overarching message. “It’s an album about self-acceptance. It is honest. It’s revealing of how I got here, who I’ve been, the stories of the come-up and some of the hardships and some of the missteps and some of the flaws along the way”.

Justin Timberlake Comments On DWI Arrest For The First Time At Chicago Show

Earlier this week, Justin Timberlake was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated in The Hamptons. Reportedly, he was stopped after having dinner at a nearby hotel and refused to take a breathalyzer test. Officer Michael Arkinson said in his report that Timberlake was pulled over for not stopping at a stop sign, and swerving. “It was ascertained that the defendant was operating said vehicle in an intoxicated condition in that his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests,” the officer also wrote.

Timberlake is scheduled to appear in court on July 26, but in the meantime, his “Forget Tomorrow” tour looks to be proceeding as planned. He kicked things off with a performance in Chicago last night. At one point in the show, he even seemingly addressed his latest legal issues onstage.

Justin Timberlake Thanks Fans For Sticking With Him Amid “Ups And Downs”

“We’ve been together through ups and downs and lefts and rights, and it’s been a tough week, but you’re here, and I’m here and nothing can change this moment right now,” he continued. “I know sometimes I’m hard to love, but you keep on loving me and I love you right back. Thank you so much.”

Timberlake denies the allegations, and according to a statement from his attorney Edward Burke Jr., plans to fight them in court. “[We] look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time,” Burke Jr. stated. What do you think of Justin Timberlake’s recent arrest for alleged DWI? Are you surprised? Drake Celebrates His Head Of Security Chubbs On Instagram Amid Kendrick Lamar Beef

Drake still hasn’t publicly responded to Kendrick Lamar’s “Pop Out” at press time, but fans are already looking for the hints. Moreover, he did recently send a message to his head of security and OVO member Chubbs on his Instagram Story, including a picture of them together for what read like birthday well-wishes or some other form of celebratory remarks. “More life Capo,” the Toronto superstar wrote on the black-and-white pic of them together. “Plenty love in the family to go around and just wait till that other s**t comes back around [crying-laughing emoji] [party hat and confetti emoji] @chubbsview.”

Furthermore, this follows some other OVO affiliates (that Kendrick Lamar called out on his Drake diss tracks) defending their leader on social media. Baka Not Nice, for example, posted some videos of the 6ix God performing in Los Angeles for his most recent tour, and it was unsurprisingly electric to see the crowd rock out with him. Of course, this was most likely a direct rebuttal to “The Pop Out,” K.Dot’s concert that rounded up the whole West Coast behind him on his victory lap around the rap beef arena. However, the jury’s still out on whether or not Drizzy will ever return to this topic again or if he’ll focus on beating his competition with hits and more artistic engagement.

Drake’s Message To Chubbs

Meanwhile, there’s also some journalistic conflict in the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, albeit some light caution-advising between two former colleagues. “Ak is the one on stream during the NBA finals,” Joe Budden recently said about DJ Akademiks’ coverage of the feud, in which he believes Ak’s relationship with Aubrey has played a bias-inducing role. “Good journalistic s**t you was doing, but you gotta know that any Drake news coming from you is viewed through a different type of eye. It comes off as a mission sent from Drake.”

Whether or not Drake and OVO choose to worry about themselves or chase a comeback will be one of 2024’s most burning questions. We already saw a bit of a return to normalcy, as we’re back with the old rumors about the XXXTENTACION murder that folks already debunked. Perhaps the Kendrick Lamar beef won’t cause a headache for Chubbs and company any longer. Or maybe it really comes back around.

2Pac Murder Suspect Keefe D Secures $750K Ahead Of Bail Hearing

In September of last year, Duane “Keefe D” Davis was arrested for his alleged involvement in 2Pac’s tragic murder. While he’s not believed to have pulled the trigger back in 1996, he’s accused of having orchestrated the drive-by. He denies this and pleaded not guilty to one count of murder with a deadly weapon in November.

He’s currently awaiting his trial, which is expected to begin later this year following various delays, from behind bars at a Las Vegas County Jail. Next week, however, he’ll learn whether or not he’ll be able to wait things out at home. His bail hearing is currently scheduled for June 25, and it appears as though he’s feeling hopeful. According to court docs recently reviewed by AllHipHop, he’s already secured the $750K he needs to potentially post bond.

Keefe D’s Bail Hearing Scheduled For June 25

Keefe D has maintained his innocence since his arrest, despite having admitted to his alleged involvement in 2Pac’s murder in his 2019 memoir, Compton Street Legend. He now says that the content of the book was purely written for entertainment purposes, as well as financial gain. “The truthfulness of the content of the interviews was never verified,” his team argues. “The book and interviews were done for entertainment and to make money from a situation that [former LAPD detective Greg] Kading and others had already profited from.”

Law enforcement officials aren’t so sure, however. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Lt. Jason Johansson alleges that Keefe D was “the shot caller” of the group responsible for the shooting. “He orchestrated the plan that was carried out,” he stated. What do you think of Keefe D securing $750K ahead of his bail hearing? Are you surprised or not? What about his upcoming trial? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Asake & Central Cee Blend Their Styles To Perfection On “Wave”

Asake and Central Cee really do not share a lot in common sonically, but “Wave” sees them work in perfect harmony. From funky instrumental to the confident and triumphant performances from both artists, this song has what it takes to be a smash hit. It seems it is well on its way to that title, as the track already has over one million views on YouTube in one day. This single comes at an exciting time for both Cee and Asake, too, making this moment even sweeter.

Let us start with UK drill phenom first. It seems we are just counting down the weeks until the hitmaker delivers his new album, CAN’T RUSH GREATNESS. After “BAND4BAND” with Lil Baby popped off not too long ago, it seems people are back on the CC hype train. As for Asake, “Wave” is possible the second promotional track for his fourth overall project. The Lagos, Nigeria native has not announced the title nor the release date yet. Even with the minimal information, it is coming soon for sure, as he just revealed the Lungu Boy World Tour on June 10. It should be one heck of a time this summer, and fans seem thrilled for him to set sail. See why “Wave” is going to be a powerhouse moving forward by clicking the YouTube video link below.

Megan Thee Stallion Sings Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” At Her Los Angeles Concert

Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hot Girl Summer” tour has held a lot of great moments so far, but not a lot when it comes to potentially messy drama with other artists, and that’s a great thing. However, if it were to happen once, it’s very understandable that it would happen concerning her not-so-good standings with Drake right now. Moreover, the Houston femcee sang “Not Like Us” at her Los Angeles show on Friday (June 21), paying tribute to the West Coast’s perceived victory in the Kendrick Lamar and Drizzy beef. It was a small rendition of just the chorus with a little dance, but it was also a big statement in some ways.

Of course, you didn’t need Megan Thee Stallion to tell you that Kendrick Lamar beat Drake; after all, K.Dot already took his victory lap with “The Pop Out” show in L.A. on Juneteenth. But considering the Compton lyricist’s previous lyrical shoutouts to Meg on “family ties” and her issues with the OVO mogul, a response of some kind became inevitable. For those unaware, things between her and The Boy became contentious when he rapped about a woman “lying about getting shots, but she’s still a stallion” on his 2022 album Her Loss. It was impossible not to see this as a shot against the “BOA” artist, and she certainly took it as such.

Since then, things grew more complicated and combative with Megan Thee Stallion’s beef with Nicki Minaj, although many now think that her perceived shots at Nicki were aimed for Drake’s neck all along. Regardless, we don’t know whether or not the two biggest rap beefs of the year so far will continue or not. Maybe Kendrick Lamar and company will quickly move on to something else, or Young Money will throw their bat back into the ring. Either way, we’re sure it won’t be a pretty healing process.

Meanwhile, Megan is coming soon, and the new album garnered a lot of hype up to this point. Hopefully Megan Thee Stallion delivers with something special, as she did a great job so far of doing so with her live shows this year. Will we get some more bars for the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, or for her own issues with Aubrey Graham? We’ll see…

6LACK Tells Us How He Really Feels On “F**k The Rap Game

It seems that more than ever, being a musician of any genre comes with a lot of expectation. Whether that be to constantly spoon-feed fans with new music every week or be pressed by labels to make hits, it can sap the soul out of anyone. On top of that, with certain social media apps creating stars out of nowhere and AI technology running amuck, the aura of music sometimes gets lost. That is probably only a sliver of what 6LACK is speaking his mind on with “F**k The Rap Game”.

Even though the Atlanta native is recognized more for his raspy and lowkey singing voice, he can certainly bust out some solid raps, too. So, him venting his frustrations on a track like this does not come across as corny or unwarranted. Across the four-minute plus run time of “F**k The Rap Game”, 6LACK portrays feelings of anger, loneliness, and confusion. His comments about this track, collected by Uproxx, certainly give off those same emotions as well. “I came into the industry before the streaming era, and I’ve witnessed a lot of change since then”, 6LACK begins.

“Over the last few years there seems to be a lot more moments where it feels like being an artist is about everything besides the actual music… This song is a personal reflection about distractions within the music industry that detract from what this art form was created for. I’m distancing myself from the politics and reminding myself what my purpose is within the genre”.

Shoreline Mafia Have Another Hit On Their Hands With “Work”

“We gave y’all four f***ing years to catch up… Shout out to a couple motherf***ers that did do they s*** but ain’t nobody did it like us. Where y’all plaques at?”. That is the type of energy that Los Angeles, California rap tandem Shoreline Mafia is on right now after dropping “Work”. The duo, known for their dark and club-ready sound, made their long-awaited comeback just over a month ago.

After a busy 2020, which saw them drop single after single, as well as their fifth overall project, Mafia Business and its deluxe, they went radio silent. You could find OHGEESY and Fenix Flexin doing some solo work, but absolutely nothing for four years. Almost assuredly, there had to be some people out there who had their doubts about how they would sound together after such a long break. Those concerns have certainly been put to rest, as “HEAT STICK” is already doing serious numbers, raking in over 24 million streams on Spotify. What is insane about them dropping “Work” is that their next album could feature slapper after slapper. That is seemingly the trajectory Shoreline Mafia is on, as this track has incredible bounce and some sticky four-count flows.
