On this date in 1996, Gangstarr Foundation representative Jeru The Damaja of the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels dropped his sophomore LP Wrath Of The Math on the Payday/Polygram imprint.

Serving as a continuation from his debut album The Sun Rises In The East, Jeru’s second album contained more of the social consciousness in his lyrical content as on The Sun album, complete with part two to the “Can’t Stop The Prophet” saga in his fight against “Mr. Ignorance.” Produced exclusively by behind the boards legend DJ Premier, Wrath Of The Math was the perfect combination of intelligence, lyrical dexterity, and head-bangin’ production.

Some of the key tracks that propelled the album include “One Day”, where Jeru hypothetically went to Puff Daddy and Suge Knight in an attempt to save Hip-Hop, “The Bullshit”, an imaginary ode to studio gangsters, “Physical Stamina”, which features the album’s only guest appearance by Afu-Ra and the project’s trademark track “Ya Playin’ Yaself”.

Salute to Jeru, Premier, DRS, the Gangstarr Foundation and the whole East New York for this timeless piece of Hip Hop history!

50 Cent Is Reportedly Making So Much Money For A Short Las Vegas Residency Launching In 2025

50 Cent probably isn’t making new music anytime soon, but fans of his older material appear to be in for a treat next year, as 50 apparently has a Las Vegas residency on the way.

TMZ reports that per “Vegas sources familiar with the situation,” 50 has secured a deal to play six shows at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s PH Live venue, starting in December 2025 and including a New Year’s Eve celebration. For the residency (titled 50 Cent: In Da Club), the rapper will reportedly walk away with $15 million.

The show, 50’s first-ever Vegas residency, will apparently “be unlike anything he’s ever done before,” and TMZ adds, “We’re told fans can expect a fresh experience while still hearing all their favorite hits from Fifty, including classics ‘In Da Club,’ ‘Candy Shop,’ and ’21 Questions.’”

Meanwhile, 50 recently said about his hesitation to make new music, “A lot of the music, if you listen to the music that’s out right now, I have to tap into my stupid. I have to tap into the stupid side of me to write the right thing when it comes time to write the music. This is why I haven’t created as much content as I was creating in the past, and I started going toward the film production and development of these projects. Because I think I can impact things in a bigger way through that.”

Diddy’s Latest Lawsuit Involves Allegedly Inspecting A 16-Year-Old Boy’s Genitals

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new lawsuit with allegations of sexually assaulting a minor. The filing was brought by a John Doe working with attorney Tony Buzbee on Monday. He alleges he attended a party of Diddy’s at just 16 years old in 1998 when the Bad Boy mogul took an interest in him. John Doe alleges Diddy brought him to a more secluded area of the event after posing for a picture with him.

“Combs abruptly told John Doe that he needed to drop his pants,” the lawyers wrote in the lawsuit, as caught by AllHipHop. “John Doe, caught completely off guard, confusingly asked Combs to repeat himself. Combs made himself clear. He instructed John Doe to drop his pants and expose his penis so that Combs could inspect it, explaining it was a rite of passage and the route to becoming a star, and also as a way to prove himself. ‘Don’t you want to break into the business?’ Doe immediately felt uncomfortable, froze and did not know what to do. Combs remained calm and stood in front of him and stretched out his hand in a cupped position. Out of fear, anxiety, and the imbalanced power dynamic between himself and Combs, John Doe then dropped his pants and exposed his penis as Combs previously instructed.”

The lawsuit continued: “Combs moved closer and grabbed John Doe’s penis and genitals with his hand. He firmly cupped and held onto John Doe’s genitals for an extended period of time. During this time, Combs moved his hand in such a fashion to manipulate John Doe’s genitals, squeezing and feeling them. Doe was only sixteen. Combs abruptly then let go of John Doe’s genitals and told him that his people would be in touch. Combs continued with his party as if nothing had happened, but for John Doe, everything had changed. John Doe eventually recognized Combs sexually assaulted him by and through his power and influence over John Doe because he knew John Doe wanted to become a star.”

The alleged victim is seeking damages for pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment, and emotional torment. Diddy and his legal team have already denied the allegations. The latest lawsuit comes as he remains behind bars while awaiting trial in his case regarding charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. He pleaded not guilty shortly after his arrest. Gucci Third Leg claims that the sore was not Herpes. Instead, it was simply a cut from shaving. Akademiks was confused by this but Ross came through with an explanation of sorts. Meanwhile, the OnlyFans star also showcased a screengrab of his test results. These results are from 2023 and they reveal how he was positive for HSV-1, but not HSV-2. Gucci Third Leg does not doubt that Danae Davis is a victim, although he is adamant that he is not the alleged perpetrator.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is facing an indictment, but it’s still go New York Yankees…..and Mets? With both NYC teams in the playoffs, Eric Adams threw on a cap, which is a bit flagrant.

Strolling the streets of New York, Adams wore a hat that brought both NYC teams together. Mets logo on the facing left side and Bombers on the right. Quite wild.

But about that indictment…. Mayor Eric Adams faces corruption and bribery charges. The embattled NYC mayor just enlisted prominent attorney Alex Spiro, known for representing high-profile clients, to defend him. The case has sent shockwaves through New York City’s political landscape.

Here’s how Spiro responded to the federal investigation into Adams, “Federal agents appeared this morning at Gracie Mansion in an effort to create a spectacle (again) and take Mayor Adams’ phone (again). He has not been arrested and looks forward to his day in court.” He further added, “They send a dozen agents to pick up a phone when we would have happily turned it in.”

Just who is Alex Spiro? Well, he’s a partner at Quinn Emanuel and co-chair of the Investigations, Government Enforcement & White Collar Defense Practice. This legal eagle is no stranger to defending celebrities.

Get this, his past clients include Alec Baldwin, Elon Musk, Jay-Z, Megan Thee Stallion, and New England Patriots’ figures like Robert Kraft and Aaron Hernandez. He also successfully represented NBA player Thabo Sefolosha in a wrongful arrest case, leading to a $4 million settlement with New York City.

What about the the rest of his resume? Spiro graduated from Harvard Law School, and previously worked as a Manhattan prosecutor and gained recognition for securing convictions against notorious criminals like Rodney Alcala, the “Dating Game” serial killer. Spiro’s legal career has also included academic roles at Harvard Law, and he serves as counsel to the Reform Alliance.

What’s more, in addition to representing Adams, Spiro has been closely involved with Musk, especially during the Twitter acquisition, and has played a significant role in various legal disputes, including SEC matters.

As you can imagine, Spiro is known for his sharp legal acumen and high-profile courtroom victories. Now Spiro’s involvement in Adams’ case is likely to draw significant attention as it unfolds.

Mustard and Chanel Thierry Reach Settlement in Divorce

The divorce between Mustard and now ex-wife Chanel Thiery has concluded. According to TMZ, the settlement leaves the “Not Like Us” producer with cars, including two Lamborghini and a Rolls-Royce.

Additional cars to remain with Mustard are a 2022 Maybach and a 1960 Chevy Impala. He will also retain properties across California.

Mustard will pay Thierry $24,5000 monthly in child support, sharing joint custody of the three children. She will also receive a one-time payment of $315,000 for spousal support and a lump sum payment of $275,000.

R. Kelly’s lawyer is responding to the singer’s daughter after she claimed he was sexually abused in a new documentary.

In Karma: A Daughter’s Journey, a two-part documentary that debuted on TVEI Streaming Network, Buku Abi reveals that she reported the alleged abuse to her mother, Andrea Kelly, in 2009 when she was just 10 years old.

“He was everything to me,” Abi, now 26, says in the emotional first episode, which is now available to stream. “For a long time, I didn’t want to believe it. I didn’t think someone, even as flawed as he was, would do something like that to me.”

Though Abi, whose real name is Joann Kelly, does not delve deeply into the specifics of the abuse in this initial episode, she shares how fear kept her from speaking out for years. “I was too scared to tell anybody. I was too scared to tell my mom.”

In response, Kelly’s lawyer, Jennifer Bonjean, appeared on the Banfield show on News Nation to dispel the claim.

“The allegation was investigated by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services,” Bonjean said. “He’s under criminal investigation at the time. He’s probably the most highly-investigated individual on the planet when it comes to these types of claims. The Illinois DCFS determined that the allegation was unfounded many years ago.

“He certainly denies it, and it’s our position that, if there was any merit to the claims, certainly charges would have been brought.”
