Back in May 2023, 50 Cent declared he was on a weight-loss mission ahead of his Final Lap Tour, saying, “We gonna do the tour and stuff like that, right? So I’m back working out like that. I always work out, but it’s different when I gotta start running and all that sh*t. Matter of fact, I’ma show y’all [on] Live every day. Yeah, I’ma do five miles in front of ’em every day. You gonna see me come back down.”

Well, it’s been less than a year and indeed, 50 has made some significant progress. The rapper has sported a noticeably slimmer physique lately, which had some thinking that he used Ozempic as part of his weight-loss journey. In a new video shared last night (January 24), though, he revealed what’s actually going on: He just put in the good old-fashioned work.

50 revealed he has lost 43 pounds, saying, “Everybody talking about weight loss. I was in the gym, I was working the f*ck out, man. And they say it was Ozempic. I was running, I was running. I was doing what I had to do. You see me on tour, I ran around. I was 253 pounds, I came down, I’m 210 right now, right. How you feel about it? You tell me how you feel about it later, right.”

Overall, this is the tape that introduced a lot of us to 21’s music. Furthermore, over the years, they have been able to keep up their friendship with a plethora of big releases. 21 is coming off of the release of American Dream, an album in which Metro added some production to. In fact, the album is set to go number one for a second straight week.

Yesterday, 21 Savage appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s show Club Shay Shay. The platform has grown considerably as of late with massive celebrities showing up. For instance, Shannon recently had Katt Williams on the show. This turned out to be extremely viral, and the interview is still racking up views. As for 21, he had a big appearance that gave us some gems. At one point in the interview, the artist claimed that he was a spelling whizz and a math whizz as a kid. Subsequently, Metro decided to react with a bit of skepticism.

In the video above, Metro can be heard laughing as 21 explains his spelling prowess. The super producer claims that it is “cap” and that it cannot be true. Metro even got into his comedian bag with the caption which reads, “you probably read 3000 books a year too huh.” Of course, this is a callback to the infamous words of Katt Williams. Williams told Sharpe he read 3000 books per year as a child, which led to a whole lot of suspicion as that averages out to 9 books per day. Either way, Metro felt funny and it all came at his friend’s expense.

Shaq Is A “Father Figure” To Angel Reese, LSU Star Declares

Angel Reese has called Shaq a “father figure” during a wide-ranging interview that she and other members of LSU did with USA Today. “There’s really strong parallels in their personalities. They love people, they welcome the spotlight that comes with stardom, they both have a great love for this school and an enthusiasm for life,” said Bob Starkey, an LSU assistant coach. During his long tenure in Baton Rouge, Starkey has coached both Shaq and Reese.

Furthermore, Reese used “father figure” to describe Shaq, saying she didn’t see him as a role model or basketball mentor. They have a light airy relationship, which ranges from Shaq giving Reese business advice to Reese roasting Shaq if he is ever spotted out with a woman. Additionally, Reese said she plans to have Shaq walk with her on Senior Day, an honor typically reserved for family members. If Reese plans to declare for the WNBA this year, Senior Day will likely be LSU’s regular-season finale at home against Kentucky.

Bucks In High Spirits After Doc Rivers Hire, Stars Surprised By Coaching Change

The Milwaukee Bucks appeared in high spirits ahead of their Wednesday night game against Cleveland. The team’s official social media account posted a pre-game video of the players joyfully dancing together on the court. This is in spite of the shock firing of first-year head coach Adrian Griffin earlier this week. Griffin was let go despite coaching the team to a 30-13 record, primarily over concerns about the team’s defensive efficiency.

In his place, the team hired Doc Rivers, poaching the veteran coach from ESPN. Rivers was the Bucks’ primary choice given his experience, availability, and history of coaching superstar tandems. Furthermore, Rivers has a strong history in Wisconsin. His jersey hangs in the rafters at Marquette University, where he was an All-American. Rivers’ first game with the team has not yet been confirmed.

Meanwhile, the Bucks’ star players were understandably surprised by the sudden coaching change. “I’ve got to trust the front office, I’ve got to trust the ownership group that they consider the bigger picture. Ryan Murphy’s FX series American Sports Story just cast the lead role to play Aaron Hernandez’s fiancee. As exclusively reported by Deadline, Jaylen Barron, the 25-year-old actress best known for Showtime’s Shameless and Free Rein on Netflix, is tapped to play the troubled late NFL star’s better half, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez. Murphy’s anthology limited series at the network is the newest project from the American Horror Story creator.

Check this: the story was adapted from the podcast Gladiator: Aaron Hernandez and Football Inc., marking the first run of American Sports Story, which will focus on the meteoric rise and tragic fall of NFL superstar tight end Aaron Hernandez.

Written by Stu Zicherman, the series will dive into the who behind Hernandez, his abrupt death by suicide, and the ensuing infamy that followed. If you forgot, his fiancé Jenkins stood by his side during his trial and subsequent conviction for the murder of his friend Odin Lloyd. Then things got crazier when Hernandez was indicted for a double murder while still on trial for Lloyd’s murder. The indictment stemmed from the wild 2012 double murder of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado. However, ICYMI Hernandez was acquitted on all charges in 2017. Then, only days after being found not guilty, Hernandez committed suicide after he was found dead in his jail cell.

Barron is also known for playing Trish in the Starz adaptation of Blindspotting. Barron joins a cast alongside Catfish Jean, Tony Yazbeck, Lindsay Mendez, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. Josh Andres Rivera will star as the titular Aaron Hernandez.
