Lil Uzi Vert & Sexyy Red Close Out 2023’s “Fire Emoji” Playlist With A Bang In New Update: Stream

Well, folks, we’ve finally made it: the final Fire Emoji playlist update of 2023 is a very short but very sweet one. As the year comes to a close this weekend, it’s a pretty slow week for new releases as folks celebrate and gear up for 2024. Still, there were four particularly great tracks to highlight this week that will surely help you end the year off with a bang. First up is Lil Uzi Vert’s “Red Moon,” which was once a YouTube exclusive for Christmas Day that eventually made its way to streaming services. It’s not as energetic or vibrant as we’re used to hearing from them these days, but it represents the Philly superstar’s other half: a moodier, more tender, emotive, and vulnerable melodic approach with some great drum-and-bass percussion.

Furthermore, another Fire Emoji highlight comes from none other than Sexyy Red, who is absolutely one of the year’s most dominant and important artists. Say what you will about the new Chief Keef-assisted remix of “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Daddy)” [or “F My Baby Mama” in this case], but you can’t deny the sheer impact that hits like this had in 2023. The Chicago legend comes through with a pretty charismatic performance, proving that he can still play with the younger crowd as one of its biggest influences. The song remains as good if not better than its original, and it will lead us into hopefully another great year for the St. Louis MC.

HNHH Fire Emoji Playlist: Stream

In addition, we had to shout out the title track on Conway The Machine, Westside Gunn, and The Alchemist’s collaborative project, Hall & Nash 2. Whether it’s the sharp and boisterous lyricism or the vintage and engrossing production, any song on this tape would’ve fit like a glove on Fire Emoji. What sets “Hall & Nash” apart on the tracklist is its deliberately patient, menacing, and almost Western-like beat, sampling some rattling, a guitar twang, and ghostly keys. Ahead of a revamped version of the same record apparently coming in 2024, we can’t recommend this Griselda and Uncle Al team-up enough.

Finally, one of the greatest lyricists writing and rapping today had to drop one more gem for us this year before closing it out. Boldy James came through with production help from Your Boy Posca on the single “They Vouching,” which is as lyrically grimy as it is sonically soothing thanks to wondrous flute melodies and ambient, persistent synth pads. Let us know what your favorite Fire Emoji inclusion was this week– and what else we missed, too. Check out the playlist above and come back to HNHH for every great rap release to come in 2024: we’ll have it on lock.

The Game’s Sexual Assault Accuser Wins Second Lawsuit Against Him

The Game just lost a second lawsuit against him from Priscilla Rainey, a former contestant on his 2015 She’s Got Game reality TV show. Moreover, she sued him for sexual assault in 2016 after he allegedly touched her without consent on a date. The rapper lost this case due to his failure to attend court for scheduled hearings, resulting in a default judgement of $7.1 million owed to Rainey. But in 2021, she opened another lawsuit and claimed he opened various shell companies to avoid complying with this ruling and hide assets. Now, the court reportedly sided with her, and the 44-year-old must fully account for this missing payment.

Furthermore, Rainey alleged that he gave up his role as manager at the company JTT Holdings and instead passed the torch to his manager, Wack 100. Another way in which The Game allegedly gamed the system to not look like he had that many assets was, according to the former reality TV contestant, giving up ownership of his Los Angeles property. Her victorious second lawsuit claimed that she only received $500K of the amount established by the default judgement. As such, Rainey seeks to seize this eventually and asked the court to delegitimize these shell companies so she could access her owed funds.

The Game Loses Second Lawsuit Concerning Sexual Assault Case

According to reports, the court held a hearing on December 13 to discuss this, and both the plaintiff and The Game’s manager Wack testified. The music executive and provocateur told authorities that his client gave him his Los Angeles house due to a personal debt between them, and nothing more. According to Radar Online the court ended up siding with Rainey and established the California MC’s inability to avoid payments, unless he wants more consequences down the line. For example, Rainey would now be able to file a lien against his L.A. home or sell it, now that it’s reportedly back under his legal ownership and part of his seizable assets.

Meanwhile, what do you think about this whole debacle? Is Evelyn Lozada’s daughter’s possible flame going to get out of this or is this the final straw in Rainey’s journey? However you may feel, let us know in the comments section down below. For more news and the latest updates on The Game, stay up to date on HNHH.

Funny Marco On DaBaby’s “Open Thoughts” Episode: “It Was Dangerous”

During a recent conversation on Complex‘s 360 With Speedy, Funny Marco reflected on his first-ever episode of Open Thoughts, which saw him interview DaBaby. According to him, he learned a few lessons from the experience, including not to ask guests shady questions. He recalled questioning why DaBaby sounds the same on all of his songs, which looking back, he would have second guessed.

“It was dangerous,” he explained jokingly. “When I asked DaBaby why he rapped the same, I was trying to ask for the people. That was something I shouldn’t have did but I did it. But it was great. We ended up making a great episode, got a great relationship. But sometimes I’m like, don’t ask what the people want to know – just ask what you need to know. So that was something that I learned from that.”

Funny Marco Says He’s Learned His Lesson

While Funny Marco’s interview with DaBaby certainly had its fair share of awkward moments, it’s far from the only Open Thoughts episode to make headlines. He sat down with G Herbo and Southside in October, which resulted in a fairly controversial interview. As they filmed the episode, the two artists broke Marco’s $30K watch, called him names, and overall, appeared to be bad guests. Luckily, he was also able to use that situation as a learning experience and move on relatively unscathed.

“I was upset while it was going on,” he told social media followers shortly after the interview dropped. “But I understand I got a job to do & one thing about me, I respect people on my show. I didn’t want to match they Energy. It’s so many L’s I took on my Journey I wish I could show I don’t hide anything. So I feel it was only right to put the episode out myself. And just learn from that episode & move on. Thank who support me it’s a mindset thing.” What do you think of Funny Marco’s take on his first-ever Open Thoughts interview with DaBaby? What about him claiming that it was “dangerous” in retrospect? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Chaka Khan & Kanye West’s Seemingly One-Sided Grudge Is Over, According To The Singer Because: ‘It Was Silly’

From Drake and Nicki Minaj to Taylor Swift and Cardi B, Kanye West (formerly Ye) has a long and well-documented list of people with whom he’s had beef. But according to a recent Rolling Stone interview, one iconic musician has rethought getting into it with the “New Body” rapper.

On December 28, Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Chaka Khan said that her apparently one-sided grudge with West was over. Back in 2019, on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Khan confessed that she was “insulted” by how her 1984 single “Through The Fire” was sampled on West’s 2003 track “Through The Wire.” But upon reflection, she’s changed her mind.

“You know, that was my fault, too, for feeling salty about that in any way. Because if I understood the rap game more completely, like I do now, then that wouldn’t have been a big deal to me,” said Khan. “I’m done. Please. I’m not hanging on to any silly grudges.”

Based on a video floating around online, Khan isn’t the only artist that recently buried that hatchet with West. It appears that Kid Cudi and him have also put aside their issues after reconnecting at his Vultures listening party on December 14.

Kai Cenat Claims Lil Uzi Vert Played Him Unreleased Song, Must Hear It Again

During one of his recent streams, Kai Cenat revealed that he had the opportunity to hear some unreleased Lil Uzi Vert music during a FaceTime, and begged the hitmaker to send the full track his way. In a clip from the stream, Cenat explains that he heard the aforementioned banger two or three months back when Uzi called him from the studio. From the looks of things, he hasn’t been able to get his mind off of it since.

“One time I was on the phone with Uzi,” he begins. “He called me in the studio, he played one of the songs that I think is gonna be on Luv Is Rage 3. That sh*t, Uzi if you see this, send me it bro. I need that song, bro. Whatever thing that you leaked with me on FaceTime. Bro, send it to me. It was like two, three months ago.”

Kai Cenat Begs Lil Uzi Vert To Send Him The Track

Clearly, Cenat can’t wait to get his hands on the full version, and fans can’t blame him. Uzi just recently surprised fans with a new single and accompanying music video, “Red Moon,” giving them a taste of what’s to come. So far, they haven’t been disappointed. Listeners assumed that the drop kicked off the rollout of Luv Is Rage 3, which doesn’t have an official release date but is expected to arrive in 2024.

For obvious reasons, Cenat’s eagerness to hear the unnamed track again has only built more anticipation for the release. If it’s anything like Pink Tape or their other recent work, it’s sure to be a success. What do you think of Kai Cenat claiming that he heard unreleased Lil Uzi Vert music during his stream? Are you looking forward to hearing Luv Is Rage 3? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Has Summer Walker Had Cosmetic Surgery? Fans Debate Singer’s Shower Thirst Trap

A thirst trap of Summer Walker showing off her curves in a heavy shower has gotten pulses racing online. In the brief video, Walker turns slowly as a shower soaks her white t-shirt, clinging her to her plentiful curves. The video came on the same day that her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy Larry wished happy birthday to their twins online. However, fans spent a lot more time discussing and venting their frustrations with Walker’s cosmetic changes.

“Her new nose pisses me off 😕,” one person said. “I wish she knew how beautiful she is. She didn’t need to change a thing about her face,” added another. “I love Summer. But y’all gotta leave that surgery and them fillers alone. It disturbs things,” concurred a third. ““Shows us how sexy she looks in the shower” what 😂😂😂,” someone else added, responding to the original Hollywood Unlocked caption.

Fans Roast Erica Mena For BBL

However, Summer Walker isn’t the only person to get hate for her cosmetic surgery. Back in November, Erica Mena treated her fans to a glance at her gym progress. In an Instagram post, Mena flexed and flaunted in yoga pants that looked painted on and a colorful sports bra. While Mena looked absolutely fire, fans weren’t really buying the thirst trap.

“No matter how cute or sexy anyone is, if their heart isn’t pure, looks won’t matter!!” one person wrote. “It’s not giving what she thinks,” added another. Furthermore, people roasted her for her enhanced proportions. “Stop glorifying this, BBL is one of the most dangerous operations, not worth the life of a mother, sister, daughter… queens, our beauty is God given 🙏🏼,” one person preached. “Idc who you are, if you got plastic surgery, do not posts pics in the gym,” added another. Of course, it’s been a rough year for Mena. The reality star has been embroiled in controversy and was even fired.
