Dr. Dre Reveals Bombshell Eminem Album Update

Eminem is easily one of the biggest legends in the music world. Overall, the hip-hop pioneer has classic records and classic songs. However, the last time we heard an album from Em was back in early 2020 with Music To Be Murdered By. His last few albums haven’t gotten the critical reception that you would hope for, and it has some wondering whether he has lost his touch. That said, he has a lot of friends in the industry, including Dr. Dre. Dre knows how to get an artist right, and it seems like he is doing just that.

After getting his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, Dre, Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent made their way to Live! With Jimmy Kimmel. It was here where Dre made a bombshell announcement. As you can see at the 25-minute mark below, Dr. Dre revealed that Eminem will be dropping an album this year. “Let me tell you something, let me explain something to you right now: Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year,” he said. Overall, this is huge news. Moreover, Dre revealed that he has some songs to mix, and that his fingerprints will be on this record.

“And I actually talked to him and he told me it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show,” Dr. Dre said. “So he has an album coming out, I’ve got songs on it and it’s fire. I’m actually gonna hear the entire album for the first time for tomorrow. And he holds his music close to his chest so I haven’t heard everything. I haven’t even heard everything complete that I’ve done, but I’m gonna hear it, and he’s putting out an album this year.”

Sexyy Red & Antonio Brown Go Back And Forth With Insults, Rapper Claims AB Is Riddled With CTE

Sexyy Red is easily one of the funniest rappers out right now. Overall, this is something that can be observed in her raps. However, it is also something that is easily observable on her Twitter account. She is constantly posting memes and she has no problem getting into some feuds with her fans. Even if she might offend someone, she doesn’t really care. Instead, she posts whatever her heart desires and if someone has a problem with that, then so be it. Recently, however, she found herself at odds with former NFL wide receiver, Antonio Brown.

At this point, no one even knows if AB runs his own Twitter account anymore. That said, he was wilding out with a meme about her smelling bad. This was posted in response to a viral video that was making the rounds of Sexyy Red vibing to some music in her car. This tweet from AB was completely unprompted, and we’re sure his social media guy was feeling very proud of himself. Subsequently, Sexyy came through with a clap back of her own as she posted a photo of what CTE in the brain looks like. This was followed up by a drawing of a disabled person trying to fit a block in the wrong hole.

Immediately after this clap back, fans declared Sexyy Red as the winner of the beef. After all, AB’s recent jokes on social media have all been the same thing. He is just telling women they smell bad, while claiming that Shannon Sharpe is gay. He is getting pretty repetitive, and some fans were waiting for him to get clowned. Well, it finally happened and it just so happens that it was Sexyy Red who was able to save the day.

Jonathan Majors Sued by Ex-GF Grace Jabbari, Citing Defamation and Battery

Jonathan Majors Reflects on Incident Leading to Assault Conviction

Jonathan Majors will be headed to court again. He is being sued by his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, for battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and more.

Additional accusations in the civil suit include malicious prosecution and defamation, stating she alerted Majors’ team of abuse beginning in 2021. Jabbari stated she was subjected to a “pattern of pervasive domestic abuse that began in 2021 and extended through 2023.”

Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, responded: “This is no surprise. Mr. Majors is preparing counterclaims against Ms. Jabbari.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Majors met Jabbari as he filmed Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania, and the first attack happened in 2022 and caused “serious injuries to her body.”

Jabbari stated in Sept. 2022, a verbal altercation led to Majors pushing her, causing bruising to her backside, throwing her on the hood of a car, and placing his hands around her neck with a threat of killing her.

In a separate event, Majors allegedly cornered Jabbari on a bed and raised his fist over her as she cowered. The suit reads, “On this occasion, Majors did not physically strike Grace; he obtained control over himself and left the property as Grace locked herself in a bedroom for safety.”

Majors currently await sentencing for misdemeanor third-degree assault and a violation of harassment in the second degree. The hearing is set for April 8, and Majors faces up to one year in prison.

R. Kelly Suing Over His Confiscated Commissary

In a legal tangle that continues to unfold, R&B singer R. Kelly finds himself fighting to reclaim $28,000 confiscated from his prison commissary account, a sum that was seized and used as restitution for one of his victims. This development is part of the ongoing saga following Kelly’s high-profile legal troubles and subsequent incarceration.

According to reports from Hip Hop DX, which accessed court documents, a hearing concerning the dispute over the commissary funds was scheduled for Monday, March 18. The proceedings saw Assistant United States Attorney Kayla Bensing representing the interests of the United States against the embattled musician’s claims.

The roots of this financial conflict trace back to a series of court decisions aimed at compensating Kelly’s victims. In March 2023, the Illinois Supreme Court ruled in favor of Heather Williams, granting her access to R. Kelly’s label fund. This fund, reportedly valued at $1.5 million in 2020 according to Billboard, became a source of restitution before Midwest Commercial Funding, a property manager, secured a separate $3.5 million ruling against Kelly over unpaid rent for a Chicago studio.

In a significant move in August of the same year, U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly ordered that Kelly and his label, Universal Music Group, surrender more than $500,000 in royalties. This order also included the directive for Kelly to hand over the $28,000 in his prison canteen account, emphasizing the legal system’s efforts to ensure Kelly’s victims receive restitution.

The announcement of the livestream link for the hearing noted, “The defendant is appealing his conviction and the government’s seizure of his substantial Bureau of Prisons commissary account to satisfy the financial penalties imposed in the case.” It further stated that each side would be allotted ten minutes to present their arguments, underscoring the limited time frame to address such a complex issue.

The outcome of this legal battle will undoubtedly add another chapter to the already tumultuous legal history of R. Kelly.

“Creating fake AI pictures of me is crazy and weird AF!” she tweeted. “Like I know I’m fine & seem to have an appeal to some but I’m literally 21 and yall doing this bs when I would neverrrrrr.”

SOURCE SPORTS: Netflix Announces New NFL Series ‘Receivers’

Netflix is set to launch a new sports series, Receivers, following prominent NFL pass catchers throughout the 2023-24 season. The show will spotlight Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

The series, produced by NFL Films, Omaha Productions, and 2PM Productions, will consist of eight 45-minute episodes. Executive producers include Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ross Ketover, Pat Kelleher, Keith Cossrow, and Patrick Mahomes.

“The natural progression is from a pass to a catch, so we’re excited to dive into the Receiver world after the success of our Quarterback series,” said Gabe Spitzer, Vice President, Nonfiction Sports, Netflix. “NFL Films and Omaha Productions have delivered again in finding unique and dynamic athletes who will further highlight the drama of this sport on and off the field.”

With partnerships spanning major sports leagues, including the NFL, Formula 1, PGA TOUR, and FIFA, Netflix continues to captivate audiences with gripping sports content.
