Shortly after model Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter on Monday to issue a public apology after some of her old and problematic tweets resurfaced, a fashion designer named Michael Costello has detailed his social media run-in with Teigen, which spurred suicidal thoughts.

Costello specified that the incident occurred in 2014 when Teigen accused him of being racist in an Instagram comment after an alleged photoshopped comment of him using the “N” word made rounds on the Internet. He also shared screenshots of an Instagram DM with Teigen in which he pleaded to talk with her to clear the air about the situation, but her responses indicated that she wasn’t interested at all in hearing his side of the story, only furthering her negative and derogatory stance against him.

“When I reached out to Chrissy Teigen to communicate that I was a victim of a vindictive cyber slander, and that everything she thought I was is not who I am, she told me that my career was over and that all my doors will be shut from there on,” Costello said in his statement shared to Instagram.

This comes after Teigen had been quiet on social media for a few weeks because she had been publicly cruel on social media in the past to Courtney Stodden, a nonbinary model and musician who married a then 50-year-old actor in 2011. In her lengthy apology published to Medium, she deeply reflected on her past social media presence of edgy humor and directly attacking other celebrities and lays out the work she’s done to grow from it, emphasizing the amount of therapy she’s done.

“Now, confronted with some of the things that I said, I cringe to my core,” Teigen wrote in her Medium piece. “Words have consequences and there are real people behind the Twitter handles I went after. I wasn’t just attacking some random avatar, but hurting young women – some who were still girls – who had feelings.”

Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Broadus have been together for much of his commercial career. Managing the early part of his career, the Boss Lady Entertainment CEO has done more for the West Coast legend than what’s expected in the traditional wife role. Less than a week ago, after joining Def Jam, Snoop appointed his wife as his new manager. 

The appointment arrived just in time for the release of Shante’s first book “Paid the Cost to be the Boss Lady,” and just in time for the couple’s 24th wedding anniversary. The couple took to Instagram to share the news of the landmark, declaring their long-established love for each other.

“Happy anniversary. @bosslady_ent,” penned the rap mogul on Instagram, tagging his wife and adding in a series of heart emojis. “Here’s 2 24 more,” he finished. He then attached an adorable picture of the couple affectionately embracing each other.  

Shante left a comment wishing her hubby a “Happy Anniversary,” complementing the post with a ton of blue hearts. As mentioned, Shante has recently taken over the role of Snoop’s official manager. In the new if, she will oversee Snoop’s full portfolio of business ventures and investments. 

“The industry at large is seeing a major shift in more representation of Black women in key executive roles. I am excited to enter this official position, helping to further expand Snoop’s wide-ranging empire,” said Shante of her new gig. “I have been by Snoop’s side for over two decades, so together with the rest of the team, our goal is to strengthen Snoop’s legacy as a brand with the loyalty and trust of our guidance that has made Snoop who he is today.”

Snoop expressed enthusiasm to have his wife take over as manager. “Shante has been guiding my career behind the scenes from day one,” says Snoop about his new mangement. “She has always been my final gut check with all my decisions, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. I am grateful to have her as my official manager, helping to build the Snoop Dogg empire together.”

Joseline Hernandez doesn’t even need an OnlyFans page — although, she possibly should consider starting one after seeing the reaction from her stunt last night. On her show Joseline’s Cabaret, the reality television star was taking a dip in the pool with a friend when she decided to go completely topless. Removing her bikini top and skinny-dipping in the water, Zeus aired everything without blurring out the sensitive bits, leaving nothing to the imagination as people rushed to subscribe to the network, reacting on social media.

Joseline is known for her bold personality, becoming a reality television staple over the years. She’s entertaining as hell and you can never expect what she’ll do next. Last night, she took off her top on television, making for a reactionary moment for many on Twitter.

Lloyd Banks has once again returned to the fold, with his recent album The Course Of The Inevitable having been met with acclaim from many of his fellow lyricists. Despite being an independent release with little promotion, Banks’ first studio drop in eleven years went on to move an estimated 12K in album-equivalent units, not to mention the merch he released alongside it. 

While it might have been enough for Banks to ride off into the sunset with another stellar release under his belt, it would appear that The Course Of The Inevitable was only the beginning. Yesterday, he teased that the project was “just a jab,” with the implication being that a knockout punch would soon follow. Today, Banks continued to spark even more hype, teasing that he has a “Huge announcement on the way!!” Alas, that’s all the Punchline King opted to give us.

Naturally, Banks’ cryptic teasers led fans to speculate on potential outcomes, with suggestions ranging from a Deluxe Edition to a string of tour dates. On the topic of the former, Banks did confirm that he left about five tracks on the cutting room floor, so there’s always the chance we’ll see some more new music. Seeing as he likened COTI to a jab, some have even speculated that Banks is gearing up to finish the combo with yet another album — though that kinda feels like wishful thinking, doesn’t it?

As many would agree, and as the United States’ troublesome history with law enforcement tells it, very rarely is the excessive use of force required, nor does it often end well. In D.C., protests in front of a popular LGBTQ+ space named Nellie’s Sports Bar have ensued following unnecessary use of force by the bar’s security. 

The ugly incident, which went down on Saturday (June 12), involved a black woman being dragged out of the bar and down a flight of stairs by her hair. The horrific act, which was carried out by bar security, has sparked mass outrage and protests in the city. A woman named Keisha Young has identified herself as the victim and explained what exactly went down. 

According to reports, the bar had been crowded following the city’s Pride parade earlier in the day. In the video, you can hear bar patron’s shocked to see the security guard dragging a Black woman, and that shock quickly morphed into anger. Numerous bystanders started charging towards the security guard, who is also Black, and then chaos ensued. 

Young told a local news outlet that the trouble began after bar staff mistook her for someone else. She explained, “[Security was] trying to get some other people out because somebody else brought a bottle in there. Somehow I got mixed up in an altercation because I look like somebody else and I got hit and dragged down the steps.”

Protests subsequently erupted outside of Nellie’s, with dozens of protestors holding signs outside of the establishment. In new developments, the bar’s management has taken swift action, firing the security company who employed the guard in question. They told TMZ, “Nellie’s Sports Bar has terminated, with immediate effect, the independent security vendor hired to protect our guests during Pride Week. Our investigation into the matter is ongoing, and we will cooperate with any law enforcement investigation, however, we do not need to wait for the investigation’s conclusion before we take decisive action.”
