That Mexican OT has been having a banner year and it’s seemingly only getting better with the release of “War Wounds.” This is the latest track from the Texas rapper and songwriter, who blew up late last year thanks to the release of the viral “Johnny Dang.” Prior to “War Wounds,” which has guest verses from fellow Texans Maxo Kream and Lil’ Keke, OT dropped off a lowkey cut “1982” with Curren$y and LE$. Nothing has been officially announced yet, but it seems like he’s concocting another project of sorts. He’s already put out Texas Technician, his biggest tape of his burgeoning career.

The 2024 XXL Freshman raps with amazing proficiency, as he rolls his letters to create that now trademark tongue-twisting effect. On “War Wounds,” That Mexican OT is also proving to be a solid chorus writer. Out of all of his tracks, this may be in his top five. The transition from “mosquito” to “wings” is incredibly catchy. Lil’ Keke and Maxo Kream embody OT’s slipperiness on their verses as well, making for a cohesive listen. Additionally, the bass line is groovy and the twinkly keys add a nice eerie effect, as each MC raps about being built tough for all of the BS that comes their way. Diddy Theory About Him Losing Weight In Jail Allegedly Disproved

One of the unexpected results of a court hearing in the Diddy case on Thursday (October 10) was that people started to theorize about his appearance. Never mind his third bail rejection: folks also talked about how he allegedly lost weight while behind bars as he waits for trial for alleged sex trafficking charges, among others. Well, according to allegedly close sources that reportedly spoke to TMZ, this is an inaccurate assumption. The alleged sources claim that Sean Combs actually lost a lot of weight before his arrest last month due to a dietary, physical, and mental health regimen.

This follows allegations from Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo that his biggest struggle in prison is actually the food. “I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it,” he told reporters after their Thursday hearing concluded, per People. The publication also spoke to a source that spoke on the Bad Boy mogul’s children and mother attending the hearing. ““The kids were very happy to support their father. The whole family was. They are united in their support and he was happy to see them all there,” the alleged source expressed.

Elsewhere in the Diddy case, the federal government has allegedly responded to his defense team’s accusations that they leaked information to the press, specifically the footage of him attacking Cassie back in 2016. “The Government did not possess the video published by CNN prior to its public release, and the Government possessed no surveillance video at all from the Intercontinental prior to CNN’s public broadcast,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson reportedly wrote to Marc Agnifilo. “Accordingly, we wish to advise you that we consider any assertion in your motion of a purported Government leak related to the Intercontinental surveillance video to lack a good faith basis.”

In addition, this Thursday hearing also indicated the potential trial start date of May 5, 2025, although it’s unclear if this is official yet. Nevertheless, the federal case moved along with a lot of updates this week, and it looks like we can cross Diddy’s alleged weight loss off that list. We’re sure we will hear many more alleged details about his status and the allegations against him in the near future.

The Museum of Graffiti is proud to present “Samuel Sumak’s Visions,” a compelling exhibition that explores the story of Samuel Sumak, a graphic artist and muralist whose life and work have shaped the Chilean graffiti scene. The opening reception will take place on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 7 PM to 10 PM at the Museum of Graffiti, located 276 NW 26th Street in Miami’s dynamic Wynwood Arts District.

This exhibition, the result of the U.F.O. (Unión, Fuerza, Objetivo) collective’s workshop, includes a wide array of media such as paintings, drawings, installations, and graffiti. At its core, the exhibit tells the powerful story of Samuel Sumak, who was persecuted during the 1990s and forced to live underground as a vagabond, adopting the name Bultisam. This deeply personal narrative is depicted in a large triptych, which Sumak has been painting over the past three years, capturing his journey of resilience, transformation, and artistic expression.

In addition to the visual journey presented by Sumak, the evening will feature a live musical performance by Foex, a prominent Chilean music producer and founding member of the U.F.O. collective. Known for his genre-defying sound, Foex blends Hip-Hop, Soul, and Electronica, infusing his music with experimental creativity. As the founder of Potoco Discos, Chile’s pioneering urban music label, Foex has earned recognition for his cutting-edge approach to music production. His performance will provide a rich auditory backdrop to the exhibition, enhancing the evening’s immersive experience.

Diddy remains behind bars after his September arrest. Speaking in court on Thursday (Oct. 10), Diddy’s attorneys revealed the mogul’s biggest adjustment in jail is food quality.

“I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it,” attorney Marc Agnifilio stated on life at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.

According to PEOPLE, Diddy’s food includes a breakfast of cereal, fruit, and a breakfast cake. His 11 a.m. lunch has hamburgers, baked fish, or beef tacos with scrambled eggs and biscuits on the weekend. For dinner, the options are chicken fajitas, pasta, and roast beef. There is also an option of “heart healthy” meals including lentils, tofu, and basked beans.

Diddy, who is charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution, will go to trial in May 2025.

At a court hearing in New York on Thursday, the judge in Combs’ federal case set a trial date of May 5, 2025.

According to CNN, Combs, who has pleaded not guilty, was present in the courtroom, as were several of his family members. His ankles were shackled, and he was wearing a loose-fitting tan button-down shirt and khaki pants. Diddy also waved at his family as they sat in the second row.

Prosecutor Emily Johnson said the prosecution anticipates its case could last three weeks. Still, she added that a superseding indictment could affect the length of the trial, meaning additional charges or defendants could be added to the case. Diddy’s legal team, led by Marc Agnifilo, stated he expects the defense to take a week.

Last week, Diddy was visited by his twin daughters and mother at Brooklyn’s MDC. According to TMZ, the family shared time in the visiting area where they could embrace and have a conversation.

Insiders say the twins made the trip from California to see Diddy for the first time since his arrest.

The visit came ahead of a statement by Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs, who referred to his charges as a “public lynching.” Combs expressed her views in a conversation with Page Six.

“It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies,” Janice shared.

“To bear witness what seems to be like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words. Like every human being, my son deserves to have his day in court, to finally share his side, and to prove his innocence.”

She added, “I am not here to portray my son as perfect because he is not. He has made mistakes in his past, as we all have.

“My son may not have been entirely truthful about certain things, such as denying he has ever gotten violent with an ex-girlfriend when the hotel’s surveillance showed otherwise.”

Latto’s ‘Brokey’ Video Starring Rubi Rose Pays Homage To The Hard-Working Women Around The World

Uproxx cover star Latto’s latest album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea, is a love letter to her Atlanta adjacent upbringing. But, all women can relate to the project’s viral breakout, “Brokey.” Initially, the song was used to shame everyday working folks. However, in the official video directed by Laura Marciano, Latto pays homage to all working women around the world.

Latto even enlisted the help of fellow recording artist Rubi Rose to drive home the track’s true purpose. From stay-at-home mothers to boss babes, no one’s contributions are ignored. Instead, those who don’t pull their weight are called out for their “brokey” tendencies. If you need an example of that, comedian Desi Banks’ role in the video defines it perfectly.

Rubi Rose wasn’t the only notable cameo in the visual. TikToker Yadira Ramirez also made an appearance. For those unfamiliar with Ramirez, her submission to Latto’s “Brokey” challenge cost Ramirez her job at Waffle House. Sexyy Red Was Terrified After A Hilarious Encounter With A ‘Demonic Ghost’ On The ‘Punk’d’ Reboot

Sexyy Red is a daredevil. On songs like “Hellcats SRTs” and “I’m The Sh*t,” she brags about living on the edge.

She lives for a good adrenaline rush but yesterday (October 10), on the Punk’d reboot Punk You, Sexyy Red showed there is something she fears — the supernatural. During the show’s latest episode, the “F My Baby Dad” rapper hilariously comes face-to-face with the afterlife.

Sexyy Red attempts to enjoy a moment away from work obligations. However, her downtime with friends and family is quickly turned on its head when the wooded Texas mansion becomes a haunted house. Even when a friend suggests a night out on the town, Sexyy Red doesn’t jump at the opportunity.

“I’m stressed out tonight,” said the friend. “I need to go out. See some big-booty freaks.”

But Sexyy Red just couldn’t shake the home’s aura. “I’m getting weird feelings and stuff,” she said. “I’m getting chills. Nah, this is weird.”

Eventually after a few creepy incidents, Sexyy Red spots a “demonic ghost.” She hilariously tries to make an escape, but with her team in on the joke, she’s stuck to face her fear.
