Bladee & Yung Lean Further Their Chemistry On “TERRIBLE EXCELLENCE”

Bladee and Yung Lean go together like peanut butter and jelly. The natives of Sweden are almost always able to display synergy whenever they are on a track together. They might not have as many collaborations as Metro Boomin and Future, for example, but their creative minds do not clash and create chaos. Which is why this new track from Bladee, “TERRIBLE EXCELLENCE,” sounds great.

This is one of the duo’s latest collaborations and it lands on Bladee’s newest project, Cold Visions. It is the 19th offering and second of 2024. The last album we got from him was just last month with Lean called Psykos. Cold Visions features a massive 30-song tracklist and this is just one of the team ups with Bladee and Yung Lean.

It is the fourth out of the five outings, and we think it is the strongest out of the pack. The beat, provided by Whitearmor and F1LTHY is incredibly aggressive and bassy. It fits the rest of the tracklist really well due to its commitment of being dark in tone. Bladee and Lean are rapping about how they are essentially addicted to loneliness and being a lone wolf. “I wanna kill everything just like Chucky, the boys lucky
The shards on me shine lucky, I’m out hunting / The knife, need to find something, I’m blood hungry
,” Bladee raps.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song “TERRIBLE EXCELLENCE” by Bladee and Yung Lean? Is this their best collaboration of all time, why or why not? Was this Lean’s strongest guest performance on Cold Visions? Where does this song rank amongst the rest if the project’s tracklist? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Quotable Lyrics:

Pretty violence in the silence, it’s a dark story
Living legends in the flesh, it’s all pain and glory
I don’t even put the pressure, yeah, they do it for me
Enjoy the moments from the nightmares [?]
With the boring blood tourin’, through the pressure we are foreign
Not an angel without horns, there’s no roses without thorns

Kanye West Enjoys Disneyland With Bianca Censori While She Rocks Another Skimpy Outfit

After seeing Kanye West and Bianca Censori at Disneyland, fans have to be distraught as they continue to impatiently await new music. The controversial pair has been photographed taking a stroll through the park and going on the some of the most popular rides. In the photo below, Kanye and Bianca are giggling and looking like kids is a candy store while riding Hyperspace Mountain. Of course, it would not be a public sighting of these two without her wearing some incredibly revealing. The architect is sporting what appears to be a matching tan loungewear set with gold dress of some kind.

As for Kanye, he opted for an all-white look, wearing a hoodie and lightweight pants. Fans have not been shy to give their feelings on Bianca and Ye, especially when it comes to the outfit choices. The same rings true here, as people online were stunned and upset that she was able to wear such racy attire. According to Mirror, one fan wrote on Instagram, “Any non-celebrity would not be able to wear that in the parks.” Another added, “If other people dressed like that they’d make her wear Disney clothes to cover up. BOOOO.”

Kanye West, Yung Lean, & Bianca Censori Are Having A Magical Time

While Ye and Bianca do not need anyone else to help them make headlines, fans have also been talking about this because Yung Lean is with them. He appears to be with a significant other, judging from the Star Wars-themed ride photo and others of them walking through Disneyland in California. This makes us wonder if Lean will be a feature on one of the next VULTURES projects. That would be a first and it could make for an exciting collab.

What are your thoughts on Kanye West, Yung Lean, and Bianca Censori hitting up Disneyland? Do you think Lean will be on the next VULTURES installment, why or why not? How much longer do you think it will be before we get VULTURES 2 and 3? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Ye Links Up With Yung Lean And Rich The Kid

This week Ye, formerly Kanye West, is facing a new series of allegations spawning from his Donda Academy. A new lawsuit filed against him accuses the rapper of discrimination and retaliation, but it’s some of the details included in the suit that got fan’s attention. It accuses West of threatening to shave children’s heads and put them in cages. It’s a continuation of lawsuits that came out last year making even more bizarre allegations about the Academy. Though a new report has shined a new light on one of the most recent lawsuits. It revealed that the man who filed it actually still has a daughter in the Donda choir.

While all of this is going on, fans are hoping Ye is hard at work on VULTURES 2. We’ve gotten some hints in recent weeks that he could be hard at work on the album like videos of him and Ty Dolla $ign in the studio. Now a new picture of the rapper making the rounds online might even hint at some of the artists who could appear on the record. That picture features Yung Lean and Rich The Kid hanging out with West. Rich contributed to “CARNIVAL” the breakout hit song from VULTURES 1. There’s still no information on when the second album will arrive but fans hope it’s coming very soon.

Yung Lean & Bladee’s “Golden God” Is A Heavenly Braggadocious Cut From “Psykos”

Yung Lean and Bladee, two Swedish artists with tons of creative flare, have just dropped off a new project today. It was a total stunner, as it had little to no promotion from either camp. But, it features eight tracks, no features and runs for just 22 minutes. One song we wanted to highlight from Psykos is Yung Lean and Bladee’s “Golden God.”

It is track number on the record and it is one of the more big boss cuts here. Most people, especially those not familiar with Lean or Bladee’s music, might be expecting heavy 808s and trap percussion. It would make sense to think that way, since tracks like this in hip-hop typically go for that sonic direction. However, that could not be further from the truth.

Listen To “Golden God” By Yung Lean & Bladee

Lean and Bladee incoporate steady drums and excellent but simple guitar riffs. For any rock fans out there, it has a similar sound to New Order’s 1985 track “Elegia.” As a little fun aside, that song can be heard in the immensely popular Netlfix series Stranger Things in its first season. But, back to Lean and Bladee, they deliver a truly mesmerizing listening experience from start to finish.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song, “Golden God,” by Yung Lean and Bladee? For each artist, is this one of their strongest tracks, why or why not? How are you feeling about Psykos so far? What songs are you gravitating toward right now and why? Do you think there should have been a feature or two on the record? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Quotable Lyrics:

Heroes of the phone, was too far, gotta call a car
Call a cab, pop a tab, Sad Boys in the back
Couple girls in the front, let her sit up in my trunk (Let her sit up in my trunk)
And you can’t do it like we do it so we do it just to prove it
I love magic, I love money, I love music, I abuse it
Movin’ in the shadows, we maneuver through the sewers

Yung Lean And Bladee Combine Their Sad Boy And Drain Gang Forces On Their First-Ever Collab Album, ‘Psykos’

Yung Lean has teamed up with his longtime friend and frequent collaborator Bladee for Psykos — their first-ever full-length collaborative album.

On Psykos, the Swedish stars combine the elements of Lean‘s post-punk side project from his alter ego JonatanLeandoer12, with the emotional rawness of songs like “Agony” from Lean’s 2017 album, Stranger.

“Across the album, the two visionaries showcase their own masterful way of blending timeless melodies and poppy hooks with sound beds of ethereal physical instrumentation that feel like a disassociated symphony,” reads a statement accompanying the album release. “An honest and clear-headed album of longing and love lost, Psykos is two artists at the peak of their powers, full of self-assurance.”

While both Bladee and Lean have become household names — especially in Sweden — Lean takes inspiration from various parts of the world. He spoke more about his love of music worldwide back in a 2022 interview with Office.

Hip-hop is very regional, and it’s the same in Sweden. There are rappers from the south that have a special accent. There are rappers from the north, and the same in the States. For me, it was just music, it was way wider than that. Since I traveled around with my mom and dad when I was a kid before my sister was born, and then when I’m 16 — I’m everywhere, so I think I just had to figure out what’s coming from in here, instead of repping your own town, or trying to get the sound from your city, or whatever.

Yung Lean Continues His Streak Of Odd Collaborations On “SPIRIT OF THUNDER”

Yung Lean has never really been your typical rapper. The Swedish-born talent likes to mix elements of all sorts of genres together to create something truly unique. Of course, he is known best for his cloud rap roots. But, do not disqualify what he can do outside of that lane. He is someone who deserves all the respect for being a pioneer and a game changer. Today, Yung Lean is back to serve up a new single called “SPIRIT OF THUNDER.”

It does not just have him on it though. If you caught our last Yung Lean song post, “Violent Lullaby,” he worked with someone else. However, hearing him and BLP KOSHER on the same track was not something that people might have had on their bingo card. But, it went over well and fans were in agreement.

Listen To “SPIRIT OF THUNDER” By Yung Lean, RiFF RAFF, DVRST, & Bladee

We think it is safe to say hearing Lean and RiFF RAFF on the same song was on that card either. But again, like the KOSHER collab, this one sounds pretty good too. “SPIRIT OF THUNDER” sees RAFF sing instead of rap too. While it is not the best vocal work it does the job. Bladee, a frequent collaborator of Yung Lean, joins in. The beat is handled by DVRST, someone who thrives in the phonk subgenre of hip-hop that includes lo-fi sounds. It is very futuristic and soothing and we encourage you to at least give it a try.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “SPIRIT OF THUNDER,” by Yung Lean, RiFF RAFF, DVRST, and Bladee? Should these two rappers collaborate more often after hearing this? Does Lean deserve more credit for being a influential artist? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Yung Lean and RiFF RAFF. Finally, stay with us for the most informative song posts throughout the week.

BLP Kosher And Yung Lean Compliment Each Other Well On “Violent Lullaby”

One of the most comical rappers that is on the rise right now is BLP Kosher. The Boca Raton, Florida native has been making waves this year for his unique comedy and gut-busting bars. His approach to music shares some distant similarities with Lil Dicky and Yung Gravy. But, Kosher manages to stand out from the crowd.

While we all know music is subjective, it still might be hard to find a lot of people who can get down with his style. However, if you want an easier introduction to the mind of Kosher, this new single might do the trick. Following up on his 2023 project, Bars Mitzvah, he grabs, quite frankly, an unexpected feature. He recruits cloud rap legend, Yung Lean.

If you know the type of rap that the Sweed makes, you might be scratching your head about how this song is going to play out. Once you check out “Violent Lullaby,” you will be pleasantly surprised. Kosher busts out some decent singing in the first part of the verse before spitting some hilarious bars. The production has some tremendous character. Its cutesy, but also quite beautiful in its own way.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single from BLP Kosher and Yung Lean, “Violent Lullaby?” What were your initial expectations heading into listening to this track? Yung Lean And FKA Twigs Are Dressed For A Wedding In The New ‘Bliss’ Music Video

Idiosyncratic Swedish rapper and Drain Gang associate Yung Lean released his new mixtape Stardust today, following 2020’s critically-acclaimed Starz. It’s full of features from friends like Skrillex, Bladee (who also just unveiled a new record, Crest, recently), Ecco2k, FKA Twigs, Thaiboy Digital, and Ant Wan. The songs stick to his signature synthy sound underneath his deadpan mumble-rap.

“Bliss” is the ecstatic, bass-driven collaboration with Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, and it opens up Stardust as the most upbeat track. Barnett’s high-pitched vocals give it an ethereal hyperpop edge while she sings about hedonism: “I want your bliss on bliss and little company / I only want it when it feels like this.” The track comes with a music video that matches the track’s chaotic vibe; it’s lo-fi and steamy, with Lean and Barnett in the back of an old car, dressed up for a wedding. At one point, Lean is rapping on a couch that’s on top of the car. It vaguely resembles something like an episode of Skins.

Barnett returned with more FKA Twigs material earlier this year with a mixtape titled Caprisongs, a play on her astrological sign, Capricorn. It followed her 2019 opus Magdalene, and proved her progress into a more unique style.

Watch the video for “Bliss” above.
