Blueface Defends Chrisean Rock For Smoking Weed While Pregnant

Chrisean Rock and Blueface are almost about to welcome their first child together, though the news didn’t arrive without concerns. The couple ascended into stardom since the beginning of the year with a slew of viral antics that have catapulted them to the top of our feeds. Many implored Chrisean Rock to break up with Blueface, though she continuously refuses to accept the negative impact it’s had on her life. That’s especially the case now that she’s pregnant with his child.

Chrisean Rock opened up about her struggles with substance abuse in the past. Still, fans spotted her on numerous occasions drinking, even when pregnant. Just last month, during a trip away from Blueface, footage emerged of Chrisean Rock allegedly drinking at a nightclub. However, over the weekend, she spurred deeper concern when a fan recorded her appearing to smoke a blunt in a car outside of King Of Diamonds in Miami. It didn’t take long for the clip to spread across Twitter, along with an influx of commentary.

Blueface Speaks In Defense Of Chrisean Rock

As Blueface continues to air out his issues with Chrisean Rock via Twitter, he came to her defense in a pair of tweets. Though research regarding smoking weed while pregnant remains slim, Blueface said that it’s only an issue if she’s burning one in her third trimester. “Lots of women smoke weed until their last trimester there is no effect don’t shoot the messenger,” he wrote. As fans criticized him for defending her in this instance, he added, “I’m only tweeting the truth weather its In her favor or not I’m not bias.”

So far, Chrisean Rock herself hasn’t chimed in on the matter but perhaps, she had a conversation with Blueface about the clip. Despite what Blueface claimed, there are potential harms that come with smoking marijuana while pregnant. According to the CDC, there is a possibility that THC products could have detrimental effects on a baby’s development. In any case, we hope that Chrisean Rock isn’t smoking habitually these days as she expects her first child. We’ll keep you posted on anymore information about the love birds. Cannabis chain once worth $1.7 billion is nearly failing as the pot industry faces a major reckoning

A regulatory filing report shows how a chain of cannabis stores that was once deemed as the “Apple store of weed” is impending financial collapse. Once valued as high as $1.7 billion as a public company, MedMen reported it has only $15.6 million in cash remaining. This is no match for their $137.4 million in debt.

“The conditions described above raise substantial doubt with respect to the company’s ability to meet its obligations for at least one year,” the company said in its filing last week.

The Los Angeles based company currently operates 23 stores across California, New York, and Illinois. With an eye toward cutting losses, MedMen sold its stores in Florida last year and is trying to sell its New York stores. The company further aims to renegotiate leases for the stores that remain in an effort to save the business.

Numerous weed retailers are struggling to stay afloat while being vastly outnumbered by illicit competitors that have sprouted all around, even in cities like New York where the state legalized weed for adults nearly two years ago. MedMen is just the latest of these businesses to face extreme adversity.

As the industry bubble of five years deflates due to excessive debt, falling marijuana prices, competition from illegal sellers and high taxes, increased emphasis is placed on the risk of entering the cannabis industry. Despite increased legalization of the substance, overhead costs can easily become overbearing and debt by nature is a nuisance.

Shares in other pot-related companies have suffered as well since the cannabis business lost its luster with investors. In fact, stock of Tilray Brands, a cannabis producer that is among the industry’s largest companies, and Canopy Growth, another big dog, is down more than nearly 90% from their all-time high.

The filing also shows that the company has already defaulted on some of its debt and it needs to obtain an extension or to refinance it. In 2018, MedMen went public on the Canada Stock Exchange through a reverse merger amidst an inrush of cannabis businesses. At the time, its shares rose to over $8, but today its stock trades for just 4 cents.

Snoop Dogg Reminisced About ‘Quitting’ Smoking Weed 20 Years Ago On The ‘Jimmy Kimmel’ Anniversary Episode

Last night (January 26), Jimmy Kimmel Live! celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special episode looking back at the show’s two-decade run. They even got the celebrity guests from the debut episode back: Snoop Dogg (who served as co-host on the 2003 episode) and George Clooney. The two had a retrospective conversation, in which they discussed how at the time back then, Snoop had apparently just quit smoking weed… or so he told Kimmel.

Kimmel brought that up and followed up, “How is that going?” Snoop, who is of course one of pop culture’s most famous marijuana connoisseurs, gave a fake sigh and replied, “Well, I guess I’ve relapsed.”

From there, Kimmel revealed he has hung on to Snoop’s 2003 rider (a list of things he wanted in his dressing room) for all these years and rattled off the items, which were mostly junk food. He then compared it to Snoop’s current rider, which is essentially the same but just a lot longer. Snoop laughed as he read the newer rider and then explained, “You got to look at it like this: Every opportunity to go on a television show is like a shopping spree. I get a chance to get some free groceries.”

Check out the clip above. Snoop also sat in on Kimmel’s conversation with Clooney, so find that below.

Wiz Khalifa Combats Lazy Stoner Narrative On “I Love To Smoke”

Wiz Khalifa drops another anthem for the stoners with “I Love To Smoke.”

The Taylor Gang honcho blessed fans with a new video to the single on Wednesday. The groovy record samples Rene & Angela’s “I Love You More” but Wiz uses the interpolation as a moment to profess his love for his favorite plant. Throughout the song, Wiz describes his undeniable love for smoking weed. Despite the stigma surrounding cannabis, Wiz Khalifa reflects on the success he’s experienced as a result of his habits.

“Who would of thought smokin’ weed in a basement/ Now I’m making 500 million,” he raps on the song. Between running a successful label, a fruitful music career of his own, and his numerous ventures in the cannabis industry, it’s safe to say that Wiz has defied stereotypes surrounding smokers.

The new single comes on the cusp of a series of rants where Wiz bashed stereotypes that weed makes people lazy.

“If you smoked weed for the majority of your life and you just stopped smoking weed, don’t try to convince everybody that your life has changed so much just ‘cause you quit smoking weed, dog,” Wiz began. “That shit – it don’t happen that fast. Tap in about 15 years when the effects really kick in.”

Prior to the release of “I Love To Smoke,” Wiz Khalifa shared the single, “#NeverDrinkingAgain.”

Check out his new single and video below and share your thoughts in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics
And you probably say you sober so you gotta clear mind
Well, I got a clear mind too
I know n***as who don’t smoke that swear they livin’ good
But they don’t even work out as much as I do
I know bitches who talk shit on weed but let a n***a lean
And do all other dumb shit
I’m a n***a that do what he wants and say what he like
But hey, that’s what it comes with

Wiz Khalifa Slams People Who Quit Smoking Weed & Quickly Call It Life-Changing

Wiz Khalifa took issue with people saying that quitting weed has changed their lives in a recent rant on social media. While he admits that quitting can have a positive effect, he doesn’t want to hear it from anyone who hasn’t been clean for at least a decade.

Wiz addressed the issue in a video shared on his Instagram Story, last week.

“Check this out: if you smoked weed for the majority of your life and you just stopped smoking weed, don’t try to convince everybody that your life has changed so much just ‘cause you quit smoking weed, dog,” Wiz began.

“That shit – it don’t happen that fast,” he added. “Tap in about 15 years when the effects really kick in. A year, a couple days, a few months… That ain’t long enough to see no progress, fam. Straight up.”

He continued: “And if you wasn’t getting shit done off of weed, it’s probably just ‘cause you don’t know how to get shit done. Some people eat too much and they get fat. You gotta know how to moderate that shit. So if you been smoking 10-15 years, tap in 15 years later if you not smoking weed and then make a fucking video.”

While he’s not quitting weed anytime soon, Wiz did recently share a track titled “NeverDrinkingAgain.” Posting the song on social media at the end of 2022, Wiz wrote: “Just in time for New Years. Enjoy your festivities drink responsibly and tag me when you use this sound in your video the day after #neverdrinkingagain.”

Steven Spielberg Says He Doesn’t View Seth Rogen’s Films As “Stoner Movies”

Steven Spielberg says that he doesn’t consider Seth Rogen’s films to be “stoner movies,” since he’s never been high before. Spielberg made the comment on the red carpet for the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.

“Well, having never been stoned, I don’t see them as stoner movies,” he told Variety reporter Marc Malkin, before referencing Superbad. “I see them as movies about a police officer giving solid, sound advice to an impressionable person.”

Malkin then asked for Spielberg to do live commentary on Rogen’s films, to which Rogen said, “One day.”

Back in 2018, Rogen appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he revealed that Spielberg isn’t a “big fan” of weed. Despite this, that didn’t stop Rogen from engaging in front of him.

“I just kept smoking it in Steven Spielberg’s face as I saw, like, the look on his face where he’s just like, ‘I’m never working with this motherfucker, ever,’” Rogen said at the time.

Rogen ended up going on to star in Spielberg’s newest film, The Fabelmans. For the movie, Rogen plays Bennie, a character heavily inspired by Spielberg’s uncle.

“[He’d be like] ‘My uncle did that all the time, do that, and let’s get another one,’ and it was like these new memories would form, and you’d capture them on film in real-time,” Rogen recalled. “Yeah, I’ll never have another experience like this.”

The Fabelmans hit theaters on November 11, 2022. The movie is based on Spielberg’s own adolescence and his introduction to the art of filmmaking. It also stars Michelle Williams, Paul Dano, and Gabriel LaBelle.

Snoop Dogg Launches Death Row Cannabis

Death Row Cannabis Deck 2

For over 30 years, through countless chart-topping hits and landmark artists, Death Row Records has stood as one of the music industry’s most iconic and culturally significant platforms.

Today, it is under powerful new management. Recently acquired by Snoop Dogg, the infamous musical empire has reemerged as a multi-category cultural platform across music, fashion, entertainment, and cannabis, all united by the blockchain for a new generation.

Today at 8AM PT, their first cannabis drop will be announced on social media at @DeathRowRecords and @DeathRowCannabis, using an animation of their globally recognized logo and reveal of their branded pre-roll tube. The teaser video was created by artist MylarMen with a soundtrack by Kevin Gilliam aka DJ Battlecat. The 22-second clip is sure to electrify the global fans of the label while being a buzzy beginning of Death Row Records’ domination of the weed nation.

Promising to return Death Row to its former glory, all elements of the former label are being refitted for today’s audience and their evolving tastes. The first drop debuts in limited edition commemorative metallic bags, featuring the iconic hooded prisoner figure seated in an electric chair on the front. Important to note: this is a brand new version of the prisoner that was designed for the launch of the cannabis brand – the main difference being he has one hand broken free and is smoking a fat doobie.

Another especially exciting note for those cannabis connoisseurs is the man responsible for curating Death Row Cannabis. AK – hand-selected by Snoop himself – is a longtime West Coast legacy cultivator and industry insider, best known for his role alongside former partner WizardTrees in sprouting, selecting, and expertly growing the RS11, Studio 54, and Shirazi strains from exotic cannabis breeder DEO. He’s the man behind the IYKYK brand SMKRS, and he is also well known as the VP of Cultivation for TRP LLC, who owns a majority of the Cookies stores across the nation including their facilities in Florida.

AK’s reputation for growing “fire” weed and his palette when it comes to selecting winning strains, keeps people camped out in lines in front of their dispensaries.

Launching in-stores next week, Death Row Cannabis is not one to keep its fans waiting. The brand will soon make an announcement with an exact date and locations for their debut drop.

Select Cookies California stores (Brentwood, San Bernardino, and San Diego) will be the first locations to carry Death Row Cannabis, with other locations and more states to follow soon.

Weed Enthusiast Afroman Apparently Wants To Run For President In 2024 On An Obvious And Dank Platform

Once upon a time (specifically the early 2000s), rapper Afroman became a weed icon thanks to his album Because I Got High and the timeless title track. These days, he’s still out here fighting the good fight when it comes to the legalization of cannabis. Now, he’s gearing up to take things to the next level.

Over the weekend, at a concert in Poplar Bluff, Missouri (as TMZ reports), Afroman told his audience, “Can I make the biggest announcement I ever made in my life? I’m running for president for ‘twenty-twenty-‘fro.’ We’re gonna get legal weed everywhere, man.” In a follow-up video shared on Instagram, the rapper repeated his intention to run for POTUS in 2024 and declared his goal is to get “recreational cannabis legal in all states.”

Of the concert clip, TMZ noted, “When you see the video, it might seem like a joke, but we’re told he’s dead serious.” They also report Afroman will run as an independent candidate. The rapper has yet to file the proper paperwork with the Federal Elections Commission, but that is apparently in the works.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Afroman’s Ohio home was raided by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. Sergeant Brian Newland later said the raid was part of an “ongoing investigation.” Afroman wrote on Instagram, “Now here they are kicc-ing in my door looking for weapons of mass destruction and 100,000,000 pounds of weed.”

Snoop Dogg’s Blunt Sold For A Staggering Amount At A Charity Auction

Here’s a fun question: How much money is a Snoop Dogg blunt worth? On one hand, the rapper is perhaps the most iconic marijuana-associated celebrity, so a joint once owned by him is a special thing for fellow enthusiasts. On the other hand, thousands and thousands of Snoop Dogg blunts have found their way into existence over the years: In a 2012 Reddit AMA, Snoop noted he smokes about 81 blunts a day. If he kept that up daily for ten years, that’s over 295,000 blunts, and Snoop’s been smoking for much longer than just a decade.

So, how much is a Snoop blunt worth? It appears the answer is $10,000.

In a recent Variety interview, Seth Rogen and wife Lauren Miller Rogen spoke about Hilarity For Charity, their nonprofit and annual event focused on Alzheimer’s disease, for its tenth anniversary. During the conversation, they were asked if there was “one performance or moment through the years that you think really captures what Hilarity For Charity is all about,” and Seth said, “Snoop Dogg once auctioned off a blunt on stage for Alzheimer’s.” Lauren chimed in, “I think it went for $10,000.”

Seth continued, “I think that encapsulates how we are approaching the space differently. If you’re lucky enough to be able to get Snoop Dogg to come perform at your show and auction off a blunt for Alzheimer’s care and research, then I think that speaks very well to an unexpected but effective kind of melding of matters and sensibilities.”
