Rod Wave is a talented artist, but unfortunately, the “Street Runner” artist’s legal troubles are holding him back from reaching his maximum potential. In May of 2022 he managed to have felony battery charges dropped after reports claimed he choked his then-girlfriend with children in the house. Since then, Wave has mostly been out of trouble, though blogs report that he was taken into police custody today (April 3) after weapons and/or ammo were found on his person. Due to his status as a felon, the performer can’t have guns in his possession, though it’s unclear what punishment he’s facing for his alleged crimes.

In a mugshot that’s making rounds, Wave looks solemn. Online, fans have endless questions about what this situation means for their favourite singer. “What’s the point of bodyGUARDS if you gon’ CARRY? Jackboy Arrested On Felony Drugs & Weapons Charges: What We Know

Florida rapper Jackboy, also known as Pierre Delince, has unfortunately found himself in trouble with the law again. Only a few months ago, the rapper was put behind bars on burglary charges. On Tuesday night, the rapper encountered a new legal hurdle following a traffic stop in Port St. Lucie. The incident led to his arrest on multiple felony drug and weapons charges. Here’s what we know about the situation.

The Arrest

The events leading to Jackboy’s arrest unfolded when two Port St. Lucie police detectives conducted a traffic stop on a black Chevrolet Suburban driven by Delince. The detectives noticed several infractions, including excessively tinted windows and the smell of burnt marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Additionally, The “Havin My Way” rapper’s actions, such as using FaceTime while driving and evading the police after a stoplight, aroused suspicion.

Delince, aged 26, faces a litany of charges, including possession of a weapon by a felon, use or display of a firearm during a felony, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, as well as multiple misdemeanors. Additionally, he was found to have violated an active protection order prohibiting him from possessing firearms due to a prior incident.

Blueface Serving 24 Months Suspended Sentence For Strip Club Shooting, Will Go To Prison If Seen Around Guns

Blueface’s life has been loaded with chaos for the past few months. First, there was the birth of his son with Chrisean Rock – which he wasn’t present for. This was unsurprisingly followed by a bout of drama between his two baby mamas. The 26-year-old has primarily been facing backlash online for posting an NSFW photo of his son’s hernia and genital area (allegedly done by a hacker) on Twitter, and we’re currently waiting to find out if Rock will follow through with her plans to press charges. Speaking of legal matters, Blue was also in court today (October 2) in regard to his 2022 shooting incident at a Las Vegas strip club.

The incident took place last October. At the time, the “Thotiana” rapper was caught on camera shooting at his victim, Kentavious Taylor, in a vehicle. Blue’s consequences could’ve been severe, but the presiding judge was incredibly generous in giving him a 24-month suspended sentence. This essentially gives the California native a chance to prove himself while serving time on probation. Should he complete that period successfully, it’s likely the case will be dismissed without any hard time served.

Weapons Seized During Polo G’s Arrest Revealed In Leaked Photo

We were surprised to hear word of Polo G’s arrest after his Southern California home was raided earlier this week. Since then, the updates we’ve received have caused concern to grow among the Chicago native’s fanbase. Some seem unsure of the rapper’s ability to beat the illegal weapon possession charge he was booked on. Upon searching Polo’s home, the LAPD told TMZ that they recovered multiple firearms. Since then, a leaked photo reveals that the 24-year-old may have had some serious firepower locked and loaded at his residence.

Among the guns in the photo are rifles, machine guns, pistols, a shotgun, a suppressor, and a pair of switches. As previously revealed in a police report, the reason for the raid on Polo’s place was due to a report placed earlier in the month regarding a robbery. At the time, Trench Baby allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint in Granada Hills while filming a music video. The father of one doesn’t seem to be directly connected to that. Still, he was booked for illegal possession of the short-barreled rifle that Trench used in the robbery.

Ex-Laker Trevor Ariza Receives Restraining Order From Wife, Turns Over Weapons

Earlier this month, the wife of former Lakers player Trevor Ariza ran to authorities requesting a restraining order. Bree Anderson married the ex-NBA star in 2018 but has brought to light his abusive tendencies. With a divorce underway for this couple, Anderson revealed her fear for safety, and plead with the court for protection against Ariza. While the investigation is ongoing, the judge has granted Anderson a temporary restraining order, according to RadarOnline.

In addition, the 37-year-old athlete was ordered to turn in a series of weapons. Ariza has complied with authorities by giving up four guns to the Los Angeles Police Department. The firearms included two Glocks and two AR-15s, the news outlet reports. His weapons will remain in the possession of the authorities for the remainder of Anderson’s case.

Ariza’s Ex-Wife Seeks Protection

When Anderson initially sought protection against Ariza earlier this month, she claimed that he “engaged in acts of extreme physical abuse towards [her].” The victim continued in her statement, “he was verbally and emotionally abusive to me. Some of the abuse occurred in the presence of our children. I have been financially dependent on Trevor throughout our marriage.” Anderson also provided the court photographs of the aftermath of bruises caused by Ariza.

Throughout her statements, the alleged victim emotionally recounts the abuse she reportedly endured. On February 17th, 2020, she claimed Ariza severely choked her. “He immediately grabbed me by the throat and started choking me until I was unconscious,” Anderson reflected. Another instance occurred in 2021 when the basketball player demanded her phone. After refusing to turn it over, his wife claims that her husband choked her again, and punched her multiple times with a closed fist.

In her statement, Anderson summarizes the series of events and pleads with the court, claiming that “Trevor’s physical, verbal, and emotional abuse” warrants a restraining order. Currently, Ariza is temporarily prohibited from being within 100 yards of his soon-to-be ex-wife.
