Blueface Explains Where He Stands With Chrisean Rock Amid Jail Stints

Blueface recently gave fans his first update from prison and broke his silence on a lot of important matters. For one, he let fans know when exactly he thinks he will finish his sentence, and it looks like it might be a lot sooner than some folks believed. “So I got sentenced to four years,” the California rapper during an exclusive phone interview with DJ Hed and Gina Views on the Effective Immediately program. “I got a year’s credit, so that goes down to three years, and I gotta do 33 percent of that … [so I’ll be home] probably like March, April [2025].”

Elsewhere, Blueface also revealed where he and Chrisean Rock stand. “I don’t know, that’s a tough one,” he remarked when asked whether they would produce a third season of their reality TV show, Crazy In Love. “Me and Rock, we vibing right now, but you know. When that fitness get involved, you know it might get a little weary.” As far as their relationship, Blue says that they “stay on a three-way,” are still speaking, and that Rock will be out of jail soon in her drug case (which still doesn’t have a verdict or sentence). However, he also explained that he hasn’t been able to keep up with their child Chrisean Jr. as a result of both of their legal situations.

Blueface Speaks Out From Jail

In addition, Blueface detailed a typical day in jail for him. “I be jacking off, watching TV, eating Doritos and using the phone,” he said in lewd fashion. “That’s pretty much it […] They only got like 12 channels. I’ve been watching a lot of the news, the Sherri show and The Jennifer Hudson Show. I’m chilling, man. I’m in my environment. It’s like a little break from responsibility. I’m like 180 [pounds] right now; I’ve never been 180 before. I’m getting sized up, I’m about to bounce out looking like a dalmatian.”

Meanwhile, Blueface’s father updated fans on Chrisean Jr.’s status amid his father and Chrisean Rock’s troubles. “Free Blue Free Chrisean,” he expressed on social media. “Got a chance to speak with jr. the other day he miss his mom, dad, & grandpa. Y’all are going to very surprise with his progression that he has made when he pops back on the scene.”

It’s no secret that Blueface and Chrisean Rock have dealt with their fair share of legal issues lately. Earlier this month, the “Thotiana” rapper was handed a four-year prison sentence for violating the terms of his probation. This came as a huge surprise to his loved ones, who were eagerly anticipating his return home. As for Chrisean, it was recently reported that she could end up spending up to eight years behind bars for drug charges. She’s not been sentenced yet.

Amid all of this, the infamous duo’s fanbase has also been expressing concern for their child Chrisean Jr., who’s just shy of a year old. While he’s still extremely young and appears to be in good hands while his parents are gone, supporters don’t want him to deal with any negative consequences of his parents’ actions.

Blueface’s Father Says Chrisean Jr. Misses His Parents

Blueface’s father Johnathan Porter Sr. took to social media earlier today to provide fans with an update on him, which is incredibly sad. “Free Blue Free Chrisean,” he captioned a clip featuring the child. “Got a chance to speak with jr. the other day he miss his mom, dad, & grandpa. Y’all are going to very surprise with his progression that he has made when he pops back on the scene.” Hopefully, things in Chrisean Jr.’s mother’s case go over well. This would mean he’d have at least one parent by his side sooner rather than later.

Porter Sr.’s update arrives shortly after Blueface teased new music on his Instagram Story via a phone call from prison. An official release date for that has yet to be announced. Nevertheless, she recently gave fans a huge update as to the progress of this release, indicating that she already took her album cover pictures and can’t decide on which one to use. This is one of the most concrete actualizations we’ve received of this sophomore LP as of late, and one of the only ones that doesn’t relate to its release date. While fans are still foaming at the mouth for a final word on that, this should still fuel a lot of excitement for die-hard supporters.

Unfortunately, these days have been unpredictably tough for Cardi B, as she recently spoke on a “freak accident” that almost jeopardized her pregnancy. “I was doing so good, like, so good,” she told her social media followers concerning her pelvic injury. “Exercising, f***ing outfits put together, I had so much energy. R Kelly’s Lawsuit Against Tasha K & The U.S. Government To Be Dismissed

R Kelly is facing more bad news. According to multiple reports, including one from The Neighborhood Talk, the tainted singer’s lawsuit against blogger and YouTuber Tasha K, as well as prison workers, is facing dismissal. The Chicago, Illinois artist filed it back in November 2023 as he felt that the government was leaking sensitive information about him to the outspoken social media figure. R Kelly was of the impression that this is why Tasha K was speaking poorly about him therefore damaging his public image and causing him emotional distress in the process.

But as for the government coming to this conclusion, they state that they aren’t responsible for one prison official’s actions. The worker who did leak things such as emails, visitor logs, and phone records was never charged for any crimes. Additionally, the person retired right after this investigation ended in 2019. Furthermore, Tasha K did deny any sort of involvement in this scheme.

However, what is also worth noting is that it seems the government did acknowledge that the prison official was doing such acts, according to The Source. Regardless, “the government maintains that this does not constitute grounds for holding the entire U.S. Penal System accountable”. Overall, this quite an interesting conclusion to come to. Dr. Dre Shares Exciting Update Surrounding Upcoming Snoop Dogg Collab Album

Well, it’s now August 13 and we still do not have Missionary, the collab album between West Coast icons Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. There was a little hope that Tha Dogg Pound was actually on the money with their claims. Daz Dillinger and Kurupt told the Drink Champs panel this in early June and it had us excited that it was dropping really soon. “Dogg sacrificed ’cause he got an album dropping in July. This album with Dr. Dre dropping in July”, Kurupt stated. Daz doubled down, adding, “He got an album coming out next month with Dr. Dre”.

For whatever reason, their words never became reality, but we do have a new update from one of the LP’s creators this time. According to AllHipHop, Dre had a chat with Entertainment Tonight and during it, he really hyped it up. Despite putting out a timeless classic with Doggystyle about three decades ago, the famed producer and rapper feels this work maybe even of higher quality. “This one is gonna show a different level of maturity with his lyrics and with my music,” Dre claimed.

Out of what we’ll cover here, the big headliner is Chlöe’s new album Trouble In Paradise, boasting 16 tracks and a lot of sonic lushness and earworm qualities after her previous 2023 effort, which was no slouch. In addition, special guest performances from Anderson .Paak, YG Marley, Jeremih, and Ty Dolla $ign provide a pretty versatile and well-rounded representation of different rhythm and blues styles. As far as highlights go, we’d recommend the .Paak-assisted “Favorite” for its bubbly percussive patterns and sweet harmonies.

The big drop this time around was Drake’s 100 GIGS project, which gave fans three new songs as well as a whole lot of bonus content, behind-the-scenes peeks, and early versions and recordings of other tracks. As far as other albums or long-form offerings this week, we got two highly anticipated LPs. Polo G made a triumphant return with HOOD POET thanks to fiery performances like “Bad Kids” with GloRilla, whereas Latto came through with what many are calling her best project yet with Sugar Honey Iced Tea, on which “Brokey” is a big highlight.
