Lil Wayne has contributed as much to hip-hop as anybody and so much of that comes through on his own material and projects. But he’s also developed a reputation for emerging on other artists’ songs and delivering extremely impressive features. It’s become so well known that fans hunt down Wayne’s appearances wherever they can find them. Almost every time he appears on another artist’s song he’s known for absolutely killing it and in a new interview he explained his process for creating such memorable moments.
“When it comes to them verses and them features, I admit there’s a me that I turn on for features that I do not know what the hell goes on. I don’t know that guy, I just know he always comes through,” Wayne explains during an interview with Apple Music. Tyga is also there with him and he uses the fellow rapper as a reference point for his success. ““Me featuring on someone’s song and killing the verse is just as sure as this man [Tyga] putting out a hit out. Examples of Wayne’s feature abilities still drop regularly. Earlier this year he teamed up with Nas and delivered an absolute standout moment on the track “Never Die” from Nas’ album Magic 3. Wayne also contributed to the memorable YG and Tyga track “Brand New” which landed on the pair’s new playlist project Hit Me When U Leave The Klub.

André 3000’s long-awaited return to music raised an important question: Is there an age limit on rap? While discussing his decision to make an instrumental rather than a rap album, the former OutKast member told GQ that he thinks so. Well, word got back to 41-year-old rapper Lil Wayne, who took to his Young Money Radio show on Apple Music to share his thoughts on the matter.
Lil Wayne didn’t mention André 3000 by name, but the firestorm his comments sparked made it abundantly clear that he was at the center of the chat between Lil Wayne and Tyga.
“I read a depressing quote or two from someone I respect a lot in music – in Hip Hop period, in music period,” Lil Wayne said. “And they were asked, ‘Why you ain’t been doing music’ or whatever? And they were like, ‘Man, what I’m a talk about? I’m in my 40s. Like, what am I supposed to talk about?’ I was like, wow, that was so depressing. I’m like, I have everything to talk about.”

Throughout the years since their son’s birth, Tyga and Chyna managed to navigate the complexities of co-parenting their son, King Cairo. While their romantic endeavors had ceased, their connection endured through shared parenting responsibilities. The public eye continued to follow their interactions, with fans speculating about the potential for reconciliation. Blac Chyna and Tyga have been engaged in a legal drama over custody of their child King Cairo since July. Chyna first filed a motion in court earlier this year in order to establish parenthood of the child and potentially collect child support. Tyga immediately hit back with claims that the action was disingenuous for on account of the fact that she waited 10 years to actually do it.
Now a new, though minor, development in the ongoing case is making its way public. According to Page Six, earlier this month Blac Chyna reportedly finished the “Our Children First” online course. The course is a piece of parental education that was reportedly court-mandated for her to take as a part of the ongoing legal proceedings. It comes as Chyna has doubled down on claims that she is financially struggling. Tyga has repeatedly described her requests for financial support as exaggerated.

Seeing as Kim Kardashian is her older sister, Kylie Jenner was thrust into the spotlight at a young age without much say in the matter. She and Kendall both appeared on even the earliest seasons of KUWTK and as they moved into their teenage years, both girls began exploring creative avenues they could take to bring in revenue like their older siblings have become experts at doing. At the same time, the public has practically always had its nose in the Kar-Jenner family’s love lives.
Before she was of legal age, the youngest sister raised some eyebrows due to rumours of her and Tyga talking. At the time, the rapper was with a woman his age – Blac Chyna – who he shares a child with. According to a recent interview on The Viall Files, Jenner was only 16 when she and the “Rack City” rapper’s romance began behind Chyna’s back. “I feel like it ran its course, and then he started talking to Kylie [Jenner] at the time, which I think she was like 16 [years old] or something. And we were, like, engaged and stuff, so that was kind of like what ended it,” the makeup mogul told host Nick Viall.
When asked how she found out about Tyga’s infidelity, the 35-year-old said she felt no different from an average person reading a gossip blog. Finding out about your fiance flirting with a teenager via the internet can’t be easy, but things only became worse when her co-parent “threw her out” of the home they shared in Los Angeles. “[Kim’s] little sister started talking to Tyga, which was kind of [wild] because she was like underage, and everybody kind of came at me and started attacking me, and it’s like, nobody seen the betrayal that was going on behind my back,” Chyna noted of the backlash she faced at the time.
Blac Chyna isn’t the only person who’s been throwing shade Kylie Jenner’s way this month.
