Don Omar Files A Second Lawsuit Against Cesar Pina

One of the most fascinating stories in all of rap music this year has been Cesar Pina. The public speaker and real-estate flipper has been accused by dozens of people of running various scams related to his real estate venture. One of the most notable parts of the allegations is The Breakfast Club co-host DJ Envy’s involvement with Pina. Envy has spoken at numerous events alongside Pina and it’s caused many in the rap world to debate his knowledge and involvement with the accused schemes.

Another person caught up in the scams is Don Omar. According to AllHipHop, Omar is suing Pina for using his likeness without permission. “Defendant misappropriated plaintiff’s name, likeness, identity or persona for use on defendant’s website in order to promote defendant’s house flipping scheme. Defendant is using plaintiff’s name, likeness, identity or persona for commercial purposes without his consent. The use … gives the false impression that plaintiff has endorsed defendant’s business, which he has not, and that plaintiff is a partner in his business, which he is not,” part of the statement made by Omar’s lawyers reads. The suit follows a cease and desist order sent by Omar earlier this month.

Don Omar Sues Cesar Pina Again

This isn’t even the first time Don Omar has sued Cesar Pina. Last month, he became one of many to sue Pina for an actual example of what he claims was real estate fraud. In that suit, Omar claims that he invested money in Pina’s real-estate flipping business and never saw any returns. He also claims that Pena failed to deliver any relevant document proving he was doing any kind of real estate work in the entire timespan in question.

Combined the two lawsuits Omar filed request more than $7 million in total. That’s only the beginning of the issues for Pina, who was arrested in October. It’s certainly no secret that some of Kanye’s antics, particularly in recent years, have led many to question his mental state. “I seen Kanye about a year and a half, two years ago… the n*gga was sane as a m*thaf*cka! Kanye West Announces Plans To Build His Own City

Kanye West is nothing if not ambitious. He’s often tried to take on some monumental challenges that very few other artists would even attempt. That can sometimes frustrate fans when projects are announced and never followed up it. West has a notorious history of projects never materializing. Some of the most notable examples being albums he announces that never drop. A recent collaborative project he announced with Ty Dolla $ign was supposed to drop over the weekend but never did. The album is now rumored to drop on New Year’s Eve, but fans aren’t exactly getting their hopes up.

Now, in a new Tweet, the mysterious rapper has made his most ambitious announcement yet, an entire self-sustaining city. He shared a short press release for a city called DROAM which is reportedly still in Phase 1 development. The plans for the city are wildly ambitious with the promise that it will span 100,000 acres, approximately twice the size of New York City. In the post, he’s also asking for collaborators to sign onto the project to help him. He’s looking for project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and builders to join the team working on the city. Check out the full post below.

Kanye West Working On New City In The Middle East

The announcement comes just a day after a report that Kanye West’s Los Angeles church has been completely abandoned. West purchased the Church in March of this year for $1.5 million but after he spent the past few months in Europe, the church is now in disarray. Included in the report are pictures of the church with boarded up windows and piling up trash.

Kanye also listed his Malibu home for sale earlier this week. The house was notoriously stripped down almost entirely of its faculties earlier this year and is now basically gutted. Elliott Wilson is coming under fire on Twitter for posting a photo of Offset with Gunna next to a photo of Quavo wearing a “Free Young Thug” shirt. Fans believe he is trying to start drama between the two with the post. Ice of the Joe Budden Podcast was one of the voices to criticize Wilson, responding sarcastically: “hip hop journalism.”

“Documenting Quavo’s reaction to Offset kickin’ it with Gunna is actually hip-hop journalism,” Wilson fired back on Twitter. In another tweet, he added: “Trolling. Hating. Messy. Y’all talk in zesty internet terms. But often don’t know what you’re talking about.”

YNW Melly’s Lyrics Could Be Used Against Him In Court

With all the focus on Young Thug and the YSL RICO case in recent weeks, many fans have forgotten about the ongoing legal status of YNW Melly. The rapper has been behind bars for years awaiting a verdict in his high-profile double murder trial. His arrest dates all the way back to 2019 for a pair of murders committed in 2018 and he’s still awaiting a verdict in the case. Additionally, in July of this year, Melly’s first trial came to an end with the declaration of a mistrial.

YNW Melly’s second double murder trial is set to begin in February and pre-trial proceedings are underway. In a recent motion filed by the prosecution, they’re hoping to introduce a ton of new evidence into the case. According to The Fader, the prosecution filed for 55 songs, 18 audio files, 14 YouTube videos, and four album covers to be introduced as evidence in the re-trial. Included among them is Melly’s biggest hit, the unfortunately titled “Murder On My Mind.” Subsequently, no verdict on how much of the material will be admissible in the trial has been made yet. Lyrics being used in court against rappers has been a hot topic of debate for years. The most recent instance was with Young Thug in the YSL RICO trial. Drake Appears To Take Shots At Metro Boomin

Although Drake and Metro Boomin have undoubtedly made a few hits together, they’re not necessarily in good standing with each other. Now, there have been rumors of a feud between the two for over a year, first starting with the release date of Heroes & Villains being pushed back. Some fans believed it was due to Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss, which Metro denied. However, when he revealed that he removed Drake’s verse from “Trance” alongside Young Thug and Travis Scott, some felt as though he harbored resentment towards the Canadian rapper.

We can’t confirm nor deny whether there were any issues between them at that point. However, Metro Boomin’s recent tweet-and-delete regarding Her Loss’ reign at award shows caught plenty of attention online. “Yet her loss still keeps winning rap album of the year over H&V. proof that award shows are just politics and not for me,” Metro tweeted. “Idc about awards honestly, the true award and REWARD is knowing that the music I spend so much time on brings joy to peoples everyday lives.” Metro later deleted the tweet. In response, Drake shared a screenshot of lyrics from Jay-Z’s “Heart Of The City.”

Drake Fires Back

Although the feud between the two seemed to have died down, fans believe that Drake may have poked at Metro Boomin during his recent Kick stream. While the rapper was on his Drake x Stake vibes, he toasted his fans tuning in while taking a slight jab at the producer. “To the rest of you, the non-believers, the underachievers, the tweet-and-deleters, you guys make me sick to my stomachs, fam,” he said as he held his drink and looked into the camera. “Honestly, look in my eyes,” he added as he got closer to the camera. “You wanna do somethin’? That’s what I thought.”

He never mentioned Metro by name but it didn’t take long for fans to try and piece thing together. Considering Metro’s post regarding Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss was taken down shortly after it began gaining traction, it wouldn’t be far off to think that the Canadian rapper was throwing shots in his direction. Despite their often strained relationship, the pair are often seemingly inseparable. In October, Alexis staked her claim on Blueface, calling the rapper “her d-ck” despite new rumors about him. She made the bold claim in a video posted to social media, where she was vibing with Blue, and the rapper was claiming that he “wasn’t going nowhere”. However, several people have claimed that Blue has in fact been going places. First, there is Chrisean Rock, who claims that she and Blue were hooking up mere days before he proposed to Alexis.

Furthermore, Alexis’ assertion came the same week as a video showing Blueface snuggling up to an unknown woman. The video just showed the pair cuddling, but knowing Blue’s history, there’s every chance that things went further than that. However, Alexis’ reaction showed that she’s not fazed by the allegations and rumors. Furthermore, nothing more came of those infidelity allegations.
