The Atlanta-based baddie began 2023 with a bang, working with producer Dr. Luke and singer LU KALA on the super catchy “Lottery,” and she later joined Mellow Buckzz on “Boom Pt. 2.” For her first solo effort in a minute, Latto gave us “Put It On Da Floor,” which resulted in some tension with Coi Leray but ultimately has brought her massive success.

In the weeks after sharing her contender for Song of the Summer, the blonde beauty tapped Cardi B to join her on the remix. They called it “Put It On Da Floor Again,” and it finds the mother of two providing arguably some of her best work in a minute. Hip-hop heads were unsure how Bardi would manage to top that verse. However, she’s impressed them this New Music Friday (July 7) with “Point Me 2,” a remix of FendiDa Rapper’s “Point Me To The Sl**s.”

Chrisean Rock Denies Being Wanted While Twerking On IG, Blueface’s Mom Demands Second Paternity Test

For most pregnant women, the weeks leading up to their due date are intentionally curated as a time of rest, relaxation, and nesting at home. Of course, 23-year-old Chrisean Rock has never been like most women, so it’s not entirely surprising to see so much turmoil playing out as she prepares to give birth. Thankfully, the reality star seems much more emotionally in control than she used to be, and has kept a smile on her face while twerking her booty at the BET Awards, and through news of a warrant reportedly out for her arrest in Oklahoma.

Earlier this week, it was said that Rock was wanted for charges of “distribution of a controlled dangerous substance/possession with intent to distribute” and “failure to display a tax stamp on a controlled or dangerous substance.” Social media users had plenty to say about the gossip, but according to the Baltimore native, things aren’t as serious as they sound. During a recent IG Live, Chrisean was showing off her baby bump and discussing the milk coming into her breasts when she began twerking and suddenly addressed the drug charges.

While that situation has surely been distressing, it’s not the only drama Rock has had to deal with. She recently took a DNA test to confirm that Blueface is the father of her unborn child, however, the rapper’s mom, Karlissa Saffold, isn’t satisfied with the results.

During a stream of her own, the Saffold family matriarch said, “I will not be accepting any Zeus DNAs,” alluding to shady results coming from the producer of Blueface and Chrisean’s reality series. “I’ve been in this business a long time, you know. Jerry Springer can have the people say it’s the baby’s daddy and it’s not… Unless you get a government officiant to take that DNA test and give you an actual factual – because you can’t pay those people,” Karlissa ranted.

On New Music Friday (July 7), the joint effort finally dropped, marking yet another success for Cardi in 2023. She previously made waves with Latto on “Put It On Da Floor Again,” and “Point Me 2” is sure to be great competition for that. Tokyo Toni recently shocked her social media followers with a new, twerk-filled TikTok. Tokyo threw it back in some breakfast-inspired pants, prompting social media users to rush to the comments. Some users claim she “ate,” while others criticized her for sharing the video while her daughter, Blac Chyna, has reportedly found God.

“Angela tryna give her life to god and Tokyo throwing it back on the 4th,” one Instagram user writes alongside a laughing emoji. Another says, “SHE ATE DOWN IM SORRY.” The 50-something personality hasn’t been shy to flaunt her sexuality in the past, so the clip doesn’t come as a total shock.

Recently, Tokyo Toni took on Sexyy Red’s explicit track featuring Nicki Minaj “Pound Town 2.” She appeared to be writing a verse of her own during an Instagram Live in June, where she also weighed in on Nicki. She called the rapper a “bad motherf*cker,” further praising her for always “keeping it real.” “Nicki’s a sweet person,” Tokyo explained, “She the realest b*tch I’ve ever seen in my life in celebrity status because a person like that, that can literally talk to somebody that’s– or be kind and a real b*tch.”

Last month, a resurfaced clip of Tokyo Toni appearing to diffuse a possible domestic violence incident circulated on social media. In the clip, she’s live on Instagram when she begins to hear screaming from a neighboring hotel room. She later goes to investigate, pounding on the door at the scene of the incident. When a woman emerges from the room hysterical, she advises the woman to leave. Tokyo then gets into a verbal altercation with a man who also exits the room, letting him know that he’ll be exposed for his actions. She received a ton of praise for the clip, which viewers felt showcased a more wholesome, nurturing side of the controversial figure.

Gold seems to be a personal favourite of the rap diva’s lately, as she wore a bikini in the same colour while filming a thirst trap video for Instagram this past weekend.

Last night, Lizzo performed the Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc for an exclusive event hosted by iHeartMedia and MediaLink. The one-hour performance took place in Antibes, France, and Lizzo surprised her audience with some special guests. She welcomed comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish onstage, followed by Kevin Hart who was in town for the Cannes Lions Festival. Lizzo was sure to let the crowd know that “Everyone at a Lizzo show is a thicc bitch.”
