Charlamagne Tha God Slams The Judicial System For Launching “Diddy Hotline”

Yesterday, the stack of lawsuits against Diddy will increase by 120, according to a report from TMZ. Tony Buzbee, one of the biggest lawyers in the U.S., revealed this in a press conference. He also says that 25 of the accusers were minors at the time of these supposed acts of sexual assault and more. One of the alleged victims claims they were just nine years old. Buzbee even went as far as to say, “The names we are gonna name are names that are gonna shock you“. Following that announcement, he also encouraged anyone listening to call the Sexual Assault Hotline (1-800-200-7474) if they have any further evidence. This “Diddy Hotline” really set off Charlamagne tha God and the rest of The Breakfast Club.

Overall, they feel this decision to tell the public to call the number is going to lead to more problems than answers. Charlamagne finds it hard to believe that the split was 50/50 in terms of alleged male and female victims. Furthermore, what really set him off in particular is that hardly anyone in this day and age is going to call the “1-800 Diddy R*aped Me Hotline” in “good faith”. In fact, he goes as far as to say that this decision from the judicial system is a “joke”.

Charlamagne Tha God Says No One Will Call The “Diddy Hotline” In Good Faith

Additionally, and perhaps most astutely, Charlamagne feels this going to invalidate actual sexual assault victim claims in general, and especially against Diddy. They all agreed on that point and added that going through the hotline is going to be a terrible option. On the flip side, though, DJ Envy feels that most of these potentially real victims aren’t going to be able to afford an attorney, so this “Diddy Hotline” could be their only option. Time will indeed tell who is being truthful and who is not.

Charlamagne Tha God Scrutinizes Diddy’s Inner Circle Amid Indictment

The news of Diddy’s indictment, arrest, and denials of bond in court have been pretty chaotic to witness, as everyone is reading these documents and commenting on all these accusations. Most of them (except for his recorded abuse of Cassie in a hotel room in 2016) remain allegations and not confirmed crimes. We have to wait for a due legal process to come to any conclusions. Still, many folks wonder what the Bad Boy mogul’s inner circle must have been like amid all this, regardless of whether their debauchery was criminal. For example, Charlamagne Tha God recently posited on the latest episode of The Breakfast Club that Sean Combs probably did not have many true friends in his circle that warned him about these alleged crimes, if they did happen. Still, his comments also apply to people being able to check his hedonism.

“Yeah, [I don’t see this going well for Diddy whatsoever] neither,” Charlamagne Tha God expressed on The Breakfast Club. “I just really can’t wrap my mind around someone having so much to lose and moving the way he was moving. It just makes me think that man doesn’t have not one single solitary friend around him. Because if you’re worth a billion dollars, you got kids, you got all these employees, all you need is one person that cares about you.

The Breakfast Club Discusses Diddy Drama

“All it takes is one person to say ‘Hell no,’” Charlamagne Tha God continued concerning Diddy. “‘Get these guns away from him. No, you not getting no prostitutes. You’re getting a girlfriend. Actually, you need a wife.’ Somebody should’ve been there to tell Sean Combs to grow up. But maybe he didn’t listen because he’s too far gone off drugs, alcohol, and booty. All types of booty. Variety of booty. Women booty. Men booty. Other booty. In the indictment, it says ‘women and others.’ 72 gender identities, Diddy seems like he wanted to try every flavor. What about the booty?

“[I’m stuck on the booty] ’cause this man seems like an addict,” Charlamange Tha God’s Diddy analysis concluded. “A sex addict, a drug addict, a power addict. And being in that cell, it’s going to be the first time in probably forever that he’s forced to sit still and get sober. Reality is going to hit him hard. Whatever he’s been running from, he cannot run no more.”

Eve Clarifies JAY-Z’s Alleged Controversial Comment About Female Rappers

Eve says that her comments on JAY-Z telling her that female rappers “don’t really do that well” from her memoir, Who’s That Girl?, are being misconstrued. She had recalled the legendary rapper making the remark as a warning to her back in 1999 ahead of the release of her debut album, Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady. She provided more context to the conversation during an appearance on The Breakfast Club on Tuesday.

“That was one of those things we were like, ‘Do we put that in?’ Because you know how people get,” she explained. “It was nothing bad about that. It was one of those things where it was a very amazing phone call that I needed.” She continued: “That was one of those I always felt like I was the underdog anyway. He wasn’t saying it out of malice or mean. It was facts, really. But I was like, eh, OK, let me see. I’ma show you. It’s all good. And it went on to be fine. Like I say in the book, we all have that person.”

Tems Clears Up Future Pregnancy Rumors And Wonders Why His Former Friend Wasn’t Implicated Instead

Tems says she doesn’t understand why Future was at the center of the pregnancy rumors she dealt with last year. Appearing on The Breakfast Club, she explained that he seemed to her as random of Drake, Wiz Kid, or any other artist. Future and Tems previously collaborated on the hit record, “Wait for U.”

“I feel like people take the most controversial thing they can think of… I was thinking, why am I pregnant for Future? Like, why Future? Why him? That’s the craziest thing… why not with Wiz [Kid]? Why not with Drake? Why not someone else?” From there, she clarified that her reaction would’ve been the same to either of those artists.

It’s far from the first time Tems shot down the ridiculous rumors. Soon after they popped up, she wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “In conclusion, you people are all mad!!!” During an interview on the Drive Time Show for The Beat 99.9 FM, last December, Tems further revealed that she began receiving death threats as a result. “I didn’t actually think anybody believed it,” she said. “I didn’t know it was serious, I didn’t know until I started getting messages, like death threats. Like, ‘How dare you! Of all the people in the world, Future? Really? Really, of all the people?’ And I’ve never even—I’ve never met him in my life. So, it’s cr*zy.”

Tyrese Calls Joe Budden Out For Disrespecting His Recent “Breakfast Club” Appearance

Tyrese may have “officially retired” from social media after a hot take about masculinity, but he’s still got gas in the tank. Moreover, he recently reacted to Joe Budden’s reaction to his recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, which Joe called “bitter.” Also, even though the rapper and podcaster shouted the actor and singer out as a friend of the show, he still recalled how he had a similar energy on the radio show last year. In fact, he brought up the last five years of Mr. Gibson’s divorce and relationship struggles. However, other co-hosts brought up that the divorce isn’t the only thing that he’s been emotional about, so it might be unfair to point to that split as a reason for this perceived “bitterness.”

In fact, Budden even said that being bitter isn’t a bad thing: just an observation that they’re making. Nevertheless, Tyrese pointed out how his previous appearance on (or link-up with) The Joe Budden Podcast saw its titular host make fun of what the actor would say on The Breakfast Club that took on a more emotive or spiritual tone. While Tyrese pointed out the strong bond he has with Joe and with his co-host Melyssa Ford, he also thinks that whenever he does something with Charlamagne Tha God and company, Joe starts sending out strays his way.

Tyrese Blasts Joe Budden For “Bitter” Narrative

Furthermore, Tyrese also posited that there are people on The Joe Budden Podcast who are sticking up for him more than Joe himself, who was his friend in the first place. In addition, he said that there’s nothing Budden could say to prove that he’s bitter. Finally, the Fast & Furious star said that the Slaughterhouse MC can’t speak on anything that he’s going through because he never married and thus can’t relate to his relationship struggles.

Meanwhile, some of Tyrese’s other final social media acts before his break included blasting the Biden-Harris administration over an anti-Asian hate crime bill. “There is a crime bill that was signed into law that protects Asians at all costs,” he said on Instagram Live. “Where is that same f***ing law when it comes to Black and brown people? Because what you’re doing is — President Biden and Kamala Harris — what you’re doing is, you’re saying that Black and brown people will continue to be disposable. That s**t doesn’t make sense.”

Charlamagne Tha God & DJ Envy React To Megan Thee Stallion’s Controversial Competitive Rap Claims

It goes without saying that 2024 has been a year jam-packed with plenty of beef. According to Megan Thee Stallion, this might be partially thanks to her. During the hitmaker’s recent interview with Billboard, the interviewer credited her for starting the “competitive rap energy” fans have seen in recent months.

Meg didn’t exactly take all the credit for this in her response. She did say, however, that she’d be happy if she had opened the door for others. “I would like to think that I start things,” she explained. “I don’t know; I just knew what I had to do and what I had to say. If it opened up the door for everyone else to get sh*t off their chest, well, I’m glad.”

Charlamagne Tha God & DJ Envy Shut Down Megan Thee Stallion

Of course, Meg’s comments have sparked a major debate among social media users. While some think she could be onto something, others think this is a serious reach. The Breakfast Club hosts Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy reacted to her remarks during a recent episode of the show, insisting that she was way off. “She didn’t open the door for competitive rap,” Envy said simply. “At all,” Charlamagne added, “Not even in this era, no.”

Loren LoRosa then chimed in, arguing that there were some people who thought Meg threw the first jab at Drake on her track “Hiss,” which resulted in his feud with Kendrick Lamar. “There are no people that said that,” Envy insisted. What do you think of Megan Thee Stallion claiming she could have opened the door for competitive rap this year? Do you agree with her, or is this a reach? What about Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy shutting down her claim? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Tyrese Refuses To Squash DJ Envy Beef In Return To “The Breakfast Club”

Tyrese came back to The Breakfast Club after some previous clashes, and fans couldn’t be happier with the results. But that’s not because of how entertaining, funny, or easy this new conversation was. Rather, it was because of the emotion and honesty that he shared concerning his divorce, his grief, and his current mindset. Of course, that’s not to say that it was all tearful expressions and deep thoughts, as the multi-hyphenate and the radio hosts also chuckled along the way. He even embraced Charlamagne Tha God at one point, and overall, fans are happy to see him back and in good spirits with the crew.

Well… Maybe not all the crew. If you didn’t hear, Tyrese claimed that DJ Envy tried to ban him from The Breakfast Club last week amid their ongoing beef. Their issues, stemming from how they’ve spoken on each other’s relationships and on their personal bond, have dogged them around for the past year now. It’s hard to identify exactly what caused all this, since it’s one man’s word against another. Still, Envy reportedly didn’t say anything during this Breakfast Club interview, and fans wonder whether he was even in the studio.

Elsewhere, Tyrese also clapped back at folks hating on his recent and controversial national anthem performance and flaunted the success of his new album. “Thank you…… You’re always welcome here….. respectfully,” he responded to a social media troll. “I don’t really know if I agree…. Few bad notes? Mheeeee that’s an open mic for you….. Charlamagne Tha God Thinks Michael Rubin Is Actually Right Despite Backlash

Michael Rubin’s recent appearance on The Breakfast Club resulted in a couple of notable social media narratives that listeners debated over. One of these were his remarks on Drake attending his White Party in the aftermath of his Kendrick Lamar battle. But a far more controversial part of the interview was when the Fanatics mogul remarked on what he thinks is lamentable about Black culture. Particularly, he said that Black people are too quick to hate on each other. While reflecting on these comments on the radio show’s next episode, host Charlamagne Tha God and the rest of the gang explained Rubin’s perspective and even agreed with him.

“Yeah, Meek said Michael shouldn’t have said that out loud,” Charlamagne Tha God’s analysis began. “Michael said one of his friends called and said that wasn’t his place to say it. But guess what? None of those people said he lied, because he didn’t. Now, I’m not into broad generalizations, because we know all Black people don’t hate each other. We know all Black people don’t tear each other down, but it does happen enough for him to make that observation. And it happens enough for us to have those conversations amongst each other.

The Breakfast Club Speaks On Michael Rubin Backlash

“And as I told him, if those are the conversations they’re having in private, bring it to the forefront,” Charlamagne Tha God continued. “We know what it is, we know why it is: white supremacy. And I would rather focus on what he said, which is let’s continue to push each other up. I’d rather focus on that. We literally had a conversation about Jewish people hating on other Jewish people. He started talking about people saying he’s a bad Jew because of how much he supports Black people. We literally had that conversation right after the Black conversation. We had a whole conversation.

“I don’t have any problem with critique,” Charlamagne Tha God concluded. “I don’t have any problem with people being held accountable if they do something foul. To me, that’s not hate. But we all know exactly what Michael Rubin was talking about because we talk about it amongst ourselves. Anyone who doesn’t acknowledge that isn’t actively trying to fix it.”

Michael Rubin Addresses Backlash To His Comments About Black Culture

Michael Rubin’s recent appearance on The Breakfast Club drew some significant uproar from the Internet for a couple of different reasons. One of these was his comments about Drake attending his White Party in the aftermath of the Kendrick Lamar battle, which led DJ Akademiks to claim that the 6ix God took 20 OVO affiliates with him to bring some muscle to the table in case anyone was about to ask why Baka was still around. But the real controversy behind Rubin’s radio show appearance was his comments about not liking certain parts of Black culture, remarks which he’s now apologized for.

“I got a phone call from one of the people I have the most respect for in the world,” Michael Rubin tweeted on Thursday afternoon (August 15) after his comments on Black people hating on other Black people caused viral backlash. “They told me while they appreciate my intention, it’s not my place to speak on Black culture. I get it and really appreciate the input! My intention was to say how important it is that we need to uplift each other, stop hate on each other, and push each other to win, and always root for each other’s success! My bad, Much love and appreciate the feedback [two heart emojis]. @breakfastclubam @djenvy @cthagod @LorenLorosa.”

Michael Rubin’s Apology For Black Culture Comments

Elsewhere, this is what Michael Rubin had to say about banning Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss track at his Fourth of July White Party this year since Drake was attending. “It was true,” he said of the rumors on The Breakfast Club. “I just didn’t think it was appropriate, so I said, ‘Hey, let’s not play anyone’s music that’s feuding with anyone here.’ That was a me decision. I just thought it wasn’t the appropriate thing to do.”

Meanwhile, Michael Rubin also defended Meek Mill’s heterosexuality amid rumors spurred by the Diddy revelations that he’s actually attracted to other genders. “When I see the narrative of a really good friend of mine like Meek, and people are trying to… Again, if he was gay — which there’s not one gay bone in his body — who cares, number one,” he shared. “If people wanna be gay, it is 2024. Who the f**k cares? Number two, there’s not a gay bone in his body, so why do people wanna lie about that? Why do people want to change the narrative of a bet he made with me to try to hurt him?”

ScHoolboy Q Takes Aim At Michael Rubin Over Controversial “Breakfast Club” Remarks

ScHoolboy Q is not happy with the approach Michael Rubin recently took to defend Meek Mill and Lil Baby. During his recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, the Fanatics CEO spoke about the infamous photo of him hugging Lil Baby, banning Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” from his Fourth of July party that Drake attended, and his friendship with Meek Mill. While addressing the recent social media critiques Meek has faced following allegations made about him in a legal filing related to Diddy’s numerous recent troubles, Rubin directed his focus to what he categorizes as self-hate in the Black community.

“Look, I’m just being blunt. It’s me, It’s the one thing I’ve learned about Black culture that I don’t like is that Black hate on hate.” Michael Rubin said before Charlamagne Tha God asked him to expound on his thoughts. “I think there’s a little bit of Black culture where it’s Black hate on hate. It’s like that Black judge that Meek had, that hated on him and want to go extra hard on him. Okay. I, it’s what people always say to me. It’s like black hate on hate, so I think it’s terrible. It’s something that I think it’s culturally wrong and I’ll probably get killed for saying this.”

ScHoolboy Q Criticizes Michael Rubin’s Comments

The clip quickly went viral. Meek Mill reposted it to his Instagram story. Rubin caught heat for speaking about a community he has no ties to. When it reached ScHoolboy Q’s X (formerly Twitter) timeline, Q was very upset about it. He paraphrased what he interpreted Rubin’s statement as with some choice words.“YOU KNOW WAT I DONT LIKE ABOUT U N***ERS? I HATE WHEN U N***ERS BE ACTING LIKE N***ERS…basically,” he wrote in that tweet, which he quickly deleted. In another tweet he added, “NO SUCH THING AS BLACK ON BLACK ANYTHING,” he added, pushing back on Rubin’s other criticism.

ScHoolboy Q deleted the tweets, accepting that they look “crazy” with no context. Of course, he is not the only one who reacted strongly to Rubin’s commentary. Many critics of Rubin’s work questioned why he felt so comfortable speaking on Black issues, despite not being Black himself. Regardless of the message itself, Rubin is not an appropriate messenger, which many Twitter users agreed on.
