Tyrese Puts DJ Envy Feud To Rest: “I’m Throwing Up My Peace Flag”

Tyrese says that he’s done feuding with his “bro” DJ Envy. In a video posted on Instagram, over the weekend, the singer put his ongoing dispute to rest, admitting that he wants to take the “higher road.”

Tyrese began the clip by showing love to Funk Flex. “I just wanna hop on here and show some love to Funk Flex,” he said. “You my brother, bro. Flex. It’s been the longest week ever. Flex, you’ve been killing my song out here in New York.” He continued: “I told n****s I’m ready for all that smoke with Envy, but I’m throwing up my peace flag. I’m going to make the choice to take the higher road. I just want y’all to know, man. Like, I don’t give a fuck what nobody say. It’s been five years of them going at me on that show.”

The beef between Tyrese and DJ Envy began earlier this month, after the former’s appearance on The Breakfast Club. Envy accused him of being “disrespectful” to his wife, which Tyrese denied having any recollection of. Eventually, Envy brought his wife, Gia, on the show, where she detailed their relationship. “He and I became friends and we were very, very cool and we spoke often. But, for me, it got to a point where it became inappropriate,” she said. “Like, he was extremely demanding of my time and my attention, where, if I didn’t give him my time or my attention, he would get very angry.” She then elaborated: “There was flirting and inappropriate compliments.”

DJ Envy Asks If Yung Miami Is Pregnant, Diddy Quickly Puts Radio Host In His Place: Watch

The internet’s pregnancy speculations sometimes turn out to be right, but more often than not, trolls are simply body-shaming women when they’re bloated, or in a less-than-perfect state. Halle Bailey is one young starlet whose uterus is currently the talk of the town. She hasn’t commented on the rumours just yet, but due to the flowy dress she donned for the VMAs, as well as her decision to forego walking the pink carpet, the rumour mill is turning. Yung Miami, who’s already a mother of two, also had the internet talking with her look. Thankfully for curious fans, her Papi Diddy was quick to clarify any gossip during his stint on The Breakfast Club today (September 15).

“Are the rumours true?” host DJ Envy asked Sean Combs after pointing out that the City Girl even played into the discourse on social media. “Caresha be throwing y’all for a spin,” the New Yorker told listeners. “I’m telling y’all right now, Caresha be having fun. It be like a video game to her,” he added with a laugh. When Envy became noticeably defensive after asking about the rumours, Diddy quickly turned the table on him.

Diddy Lets DJ Envy Know What’s Up on The Breakfast Club

“Is your wife pregnant?” the “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker inquired as the room erupted in laughter. “I’m gonna tell you straight up,” Combs went on. “You be the craziest one, asking about somebody’s girl but can’t nobody say anything to you about yours!” he called Envy out for loyally defending his partner, Gia.

Not for the first time, DJ Envy has found himself at odds with a number of major players in the industry lately. Besides today’s spat with Diddy over Yung Miami, the radio personality is also in the midst of being called out by Tyrese, who’s about ready to fight Envy for “mocking” his divorce. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Diddy Speaks On Mase Beef: “We Brothers”

During his recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Diddy opened up about his beef with Mase. The two of them have had their fair share of issues in the past, but Diddy says that he continues to have a soft spot for the artist. He claims that through it all Mase is still a “brother” to him that he’ll “always love.”

Diddy went on to claim that he’s actually sat down with Mase to hash things out before, suggesting that their relationship is worth fixing. He says that although he may not always agree with him, Mase was “a catalyst” to his own personal self reflection. “There are so many misconceptions that people think that they know what’s going on,” he explained. “I give him credit for really helping to launch my career as an artist, and you know, [he] was there with me from the beginning and stuff like that.”

Diddy Says He’ll “Always Love” Mase

In other Diddy news, the performer dropped off his sixth studio album today, The Love Album: Off The Grid. The LP is filled with countless high-profile features, from the likes of The Weeknd, Summer Walker, Mary J. Blige, and many more. So far, listeners appear to be enjoying his latest offering, with some even already dubbing it the Album of the Year.

Just in time for the drop of his new project, Diddy was also honored with the Key to NYC today. “The bad boy of entertainment is getting the Key to the City from the bad boy of politics,” Mayor Eric Adams declared. Diddy went on to thank his supporters cheering him on. What do you think of Diddy’s take on his longstanding feud with Mase? Diddy Explains The Reassigning Rights Process Has Been Ongoing For Years

Over the weekend Diddy released his new album The Love Album: Off The Grid. He’s been teasing the project for weeks and it features a stacked collection of collaborators. The-Dream, Busta Rhymes, Swae Lee, Summer Walker, The Weeknd, 21 Savage, Justin Bieber, Jazmine Sullivan, Ty Dolla $ign, Kehlani, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, and many more appear on the album. The Weeknd’s appearance in particular drew plenty of attention as he announced earlier this year that it was his final ever feature. He appears on the track “Another One Of Me” alongside French Montana and 21 Savage. Savage and The Weeknd have proven a strong pairing after their collaboration with Metro Boomin “Creepin’” became a big hit earlier this year.

Alongside the release of the album, Diddy sat down on The Breakfast Club to discuss a variety of issues. One of those is the process of reassigning publishing rights back to some of his artists. A few weeks ago it was made public that artists like The LOX, Ma$e, The Notorious B.I.G, and more were having the publishing rights to their music given back to themselves or their estates. In the interview, Diddy explains that criticizing the Grammys was what made him first realize that he needed to begin the process of reassigning rights. “I had to look from within,” he explains. Check out the full interview below.

Diddy Explains Reassigning Publishing Rights

In the interview, Diddy explains that he felt giving back publishing rights was “the right thing to do.” He also claims that the actual process itself began two years ago. He says that he signed the papers himself a while ago and everything since then has been legal processes.

Not everybody is impressed by this gesture though. One of Diddy’s former artists Mark Curry found the move to be mostly performative. He pointed out that the publishing rights had very little value now and that the gesture was somewhat meaningless. What do you think about Diddy’s more detailed explanation of the reassigning process? Let us know in the comment section below.

Tyrese Says Its “Gloves Off” For DJ Envy, Says He Mocked His Divorce

Tyrese is turning a quick stop at The Breakfast Club earlier this month into an all-out crusade against DJ Envy. Moreover, the two have been going at it over social media and radio waves, calling each other out concerning the actor’s alleged disrespect of the commentator’s wife. Envy maintains that he crossed some lines, whereas the Transformers star says these are lies he made up to justify his clowning of Tyrese in a time of need and distance created when he abandoned him. In a series of lengthy captions and audio clips, Gibson made it clear that he’s not going out easy.

“Wasn’t gonna do this…” Tyrese wrote on Instagram. “I’ve wrestled, it’s gloves off… @DJEnvy you wanted to go viral… Enjoy. Since we out here tryna go ‘viral’ threatening live on the air, let’s unpack this all. However way you/yall respond I’m done done… Have fun!! Milk it into ratings and more blogs. What I’m NEVER gonna do until I take my last breath is let anyone question my integrity, attack my character and be out here reckless on some random f**k s**t. I would strongly suggest you tread lightly, I don’t do cease-and-desist letters, I don’t deal with lawyers, I don’t snitch, I don’t gaslight. I wanna f**k up and I’ll make a mistake, I can tell my own self under the bus. You decide on your own what level we’re gonna take it to from here… I want all the smoke beige n***a.

Tyrese Fires Off On IG

“I’m aggressive – not passive aggressive,” Tyrese continued on the social media platform. “If ANY MAN were to ever disrespect my wife, I wouldn’t still be IN TOUCH with him in any capacity and try to confront [him] 6 years later. And we’ve all been in touch this whole time. The only drama I have in my life is BM drama and divorce drama.

Will DJ Envy Respond?

“I don’t bother nobody… I disrespect no one,” he concluded. “I’m sorry if I let anyone down from addressing this, I just couldn’t let this one roll off my back. Y’all have fun. He wanted to go viral from threatening me and calling himself confronting me while the cameras was rolling. 6 years of SILENCE? Now this… nah bruh… real Watts n***a right here I’m not having it… see you soon…” Meanwhile, for more news and the latest updates on Tyrese and DJ Envy, come back to HNHH.

DJ Envy Recalls R. Kelly Flying Him Out For Help On An R&B Mixtape

DJ Envy says R. Kelly once flew him out to help work on an R&B mixtape during his early days as a DJ. The Breakfast Club host recalled working with the disgraced musician during a recent sit-down with VladTV. Speaking with the outlet, he revealed that he was only 19 or 20 years old at the time.

“This was the mixtape days,” he began. “So this was when I was like 19, 20. And this is when I was on mixtapes. They reached out to me and R. Kelly wanted to do an R&B mixtape. Flew me out to Chicago. And that was it. That was it. I remember he flew me out on like, a Friday. It sounds crazy saying, ‘flew me out.’ I got flown out on a Friday, I get there, get in the hotel, nice hotel, five-star, everything first class — Friday, nothing. They didn’t return my call. No studio. So, I said alright. And it was supposed to be a weekend thing, so Friday, Saturday, Sunday.”

He continued: “Saturday, wake up, no call. Now mind you, I’m by myself. Waiting. No call. So I got on a flight, and flew myself back Saturday night. I felt like I was an Instagram model that somebody flew out. I was too ugly to holla at.” Check out the full conversation with VladTV below.

DJ Envy Reflects On Getting Flown Out By R. Kelly

The interview comes after Envy recently made headlines for feuding with Tyrese on The Breakfast Club. He and his wife, Gia, accused the singer of being “inappropriate.” Tyrese claimed to not know what Envy was referring to, which prompted him to admit he should “box” Tyrese’s mouth. Despite the argument, Envy says he still respects Tyrese for helping him and his wife work on their marriage.

Tyrese Blasts DJ Envy For Lying About Disrespecting His Wife

Just when we thought that the dispute between DJ Envy and Tyrese ended, it seems like there’s more to uncover and call out. Moreover, the singer and actor alleged that the radio hosts claims that he disrespected his wife are completely untrue. He said as much during a very lengthy Instagram video, which he put out there because Envy embarrassed him on a public platform. Overall, the message contains a lot of additional allegations, assumptions, and attacks against the media personality’s side of the story. It’s a complicated web to weave, but he broke things down in a few areas.

First off, Tyrese pulled up text messages between all three individuals that they received over the last year or so. This disproves DJ Envy’s claim that they blocked the Fast & Furious alum up until about a month ago, according to the screen star. In terms of their dynamic, he also claimed that Envy and his wife weren’t there for him during hard times, whereas he had done a lot to help them in their relationship. While the Los Angeles native didn’t go into too many specifics, he did hilariously share that he sent Envy’s wife pictures of his new Rolls Royce car.

DJ Envy Is Lying, Tyrese Claims

In addition, Tyrese explained that the timeline of events that DJ Envy used regarding his psych med behavior doesn’t actually line up with any alleged disrespect that he showed his wife. The 44-year-old also defended his character, saying that he’d never do anything to disrespect a known colleague’s partner. In the most basic of terms, he said that Envy lied about the whole thing and is actually just covering up his own reluctance to stay close to him. With this, the R&B crooner will likely provoke some more back-and-forths.

Meanwhile, this Instagram video actually contrasts what Gibson had said in an earlier video, which was much more emotional. Apparently he decided to speak on the issue further after all. The resulting fallout might come soon, it might come late, but one thing’s for sure: during his Breakfast Club interview, he acted much more calmly than how he actually feels about these claims. On that note, stick around on HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Tyrese and DJ Envy.

Juicy J On Never Doing Cocaine: “I Just Felt Like If I Did It, I’d Die”

Juicy J made an appearance on The Breakfast Club on Monday (Sept. 11) to talk about his new recently released memoir Chronicles of the Juice Man. The memoir discusses challenges that Juicy J faced coming up, as well as his ascent to stardom. Revealing the path that led him from the gritty streets of Memphis in the 1980s, the Three 6 Mafia legend shares his story. He offers readers a vivid picture of his unwavering dedication to success amid numerous distractions. While Juicy J’s past includes experimenting with various substances, there’s one drug he has steadfastly sworn off: cocaine. During the interview, he revealed that this decision is deeply rooted in a haunting childhood memory. He watched a television report about a basketball player whose tragic demise was attributed to cocaine use.

“When I was like a kid, I was watching TV and I seen this basketball player named Len Bias and they said, ‘Oh, Len Bias — he died on cocaine,” Juicy J explained. “I was like, ‘I ain’t never doin’ cocaine.’ When I seen that, it stuck in my head. I just felt like if I did it, I’d die.”

Juicy J Talks New Memoir

Consequently, Juicy J went on to reflect on how he began noticing cocaine all around him shortly after that moment. Throughout his career, despite numerous opportunities and offers to indulge in cocaine, he consistently declined. Notably, before Three 6 Mafia’s Verzuz battle with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony in 2021, Juicy J engaged in a candid conversation with Nas and Miss Info on The Bridge: 50 Years of Hip Hop. He openly discussed the rampant drug use that contributed to his group’s eventual downfall. “From heroin to meth to cocaine, all kinds of pills,” he continued. “A lot of drugs were consumed during the times we were together. When everybody was sober and s–t, everybody’s on the same page. But when cocaine’s involved, you know things change. But I’m not pointing a figure at nobody, it happened.”

In earlier interviews, Juicy J has taken a vocal stance against drug use. He has shared a memory in which he deeply regrets not intervening when Mac Miller was using drugs in the studio. In a conversation with Allison Kugel, he recalled a time when Mac Miller brought in a “party pack” of drugs to the session. “We was in the recording studio and he had a party pack … it’s like every kind of drug you can take and it’s in a pack or a box or whatever,” Juicy J said to Kugel. “He pulls out this box and pops a couple of things and he offers me some coke. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would have snatched that box. And I know he probably would have tried to fight me, but I would have snatched that box and I would’ve dumped it in the toilet and flushed it.” This glimpse into Juicy J’s life and convictions underscores his enduring commitment to both his personal journey. In addition, he emphasizes the broader message of responsible choices in the world of hip-hop.

Tyrese Gets Emotional Over Recent “The Breakfast Club” Appearance

Earlier this week, Tyrese sat down for an interview with The Breakfast Club. Things between him and the hosts escalated at one point, however, when DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God called him out for his past behavior. Envy recalled Tyrese “talking crazy” to his wife, explaining that that’s why he took “a step back” from the artist.

“I never talked to your wife in a disrespectful manner, and you talked to mine in a disrespectful manner,” he described. “And I never told nobody that. You can say you were on psych meds, you can say that you weren’t. Some of the things you said, Tyrese, deserve me to box your mouth.” Later in the conversation, Tyrese explained that due to his medication, his behavior at the time was “out of [his] control.” He told the hosts, “I’ve literally prayed that people could find it in their heart to not hold me to something that I said and did while I was literally out of my mind.”

Tyrese Reflects On “The Breakfast Club” Appearance

It looks like the interaction has weighed heavily on Tyrese, who recently took to social media to reflect. He explains that although he could go after DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God, he’s not going to because he wants the best for them. “The choice that I’m going to make,” he says tearfully, “is to wish them well in their careers, their marriage, their family.” He went on to thank Jess Hilarious, who attempted to deescalate the situation when it got heated. “You actually had the only heart in the room,” he tells her. “I appreciate Jess.”

“It’s all fresh,” Tyrese says, explaining why he was getting emotional on live. “One thing y’all need to know is I’ma be alright. I’ma get through this process. I’ma take this journey.” Keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Tyrese.

Cardi B Had A Few Choice Words About The Microphone-Tossing Incident And The Person Involved

Cardi B has finally addressed her microphone-tossing incident. Today (September 8), during an appearance on Power 105.1 FM’s The Breakfast Club, the “Bongos” rapper shared a few choice words about the incident while performing at Drai’s Beachclub, dating back to July 29.

When host Charlamagne Tha God asked outright if she regretted throwing the object at an onlooker, she hesitated. After taking a few seconds to gather her thoughts, she said, “It was really like [just] a quick reaction.”

She continued, “And let me tell you… I didn’t want to address it because a b*tch thought I was going to go to jail. But I’m not,” referring to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s decision not to pursue the battery charges initially filed.

Cardi then went on to tell the story from her perspective: “It was hot as f*ck! That Vegas hear ain’t no joke. It was hotter than a motherf*cker. So, there was a part of the show where I told people to splash me [with water]. But even when I told them to splash me, I told them to be careful with the face… Four songs later, which was 15 or 20 minutes later, this b*tch threw water and ice on my face. So I just automatically reacted.”

“When I looked back at the video [clips], I see that she intentionally threw that sh*t in my face… I felt very violated.” Cardi then turned her attention to the concertgoer, “You were trying to be funny, but b*tch, I’m hilarious.”

The microphone from the show was later auctioned off, raising almost $100,000 for charity.
