The Game & Big Hit Link Up In The Studio

Big Hit recently shared a video of himself linking up with The Game in the studio on Instagram. “What took you so long, n***a?” Hit asks in one clip as they meet up. “You regulatin’, Blood. You runnin’ this sh*t.” In another post, the two perform along to what appears to be a new collaboration. “My daddy dead and my momma dyin’/ On my daughter, I’m just out here trying,’” The Game raps.

The post had fans on Instagram stoked for the team-up. “Big hit got a verse from game with out a name drop!?!?!?” one user commented. Another wrote: “Sh*t sounds f*ckin nuts [fire emoji].”

Big Hit recently collaborated with his son, Hit-Boy, to drop his first project since getting out of prison, The Truth Is In My Eyes. The two celebrated its release at Bottom Bunk Sneaker House in Los Angeles, earlier this month. Hit-Boy discussed the gravity of the moment in a candid post on social media at the time. “Being in elementary school telling people me and my dad were gonna make music together one day when he’s back out on the streets,” he captioned a post. “Over the years we have had points where he touched down for a second maybe a few months MAX and we started recording and making some progress. Then he’d let the streets win and he’d end up right back in the cell for years at a time.”

Lil Baby Returns To The Studio While Lil D Claims He Watches His Videos

Lil Baby is hard at work on his new album, although he might have to account for some new listeners now that he’s been allegedly exposed. Moreover, adult content creator Lil D recently claimed to Adam22 of No Jumper that he found out that the rapper actually watches his videos. Apparently, a common associate of both men knows that Baby watched some of her videos with D before getting together, something that she later told the latter. It’s quite the bizarre flex to make, but nevertheless, it’s a way to market oneself and whatever one does through a big celebrity co-sign. It’s just not exactly the type of thing that the Atlanta native would probably be a proud fan of.

Furthermore, Lil Baby would have to try really hard to avoid Lil D, considering that he’s now roped into Adam22 and Lena The Plug’s relationship dynamic. They made adult content together and now seem quite close, so it definitely hasn’t been as beef-heavy as the Jason Luv situation. Still, this causes a lot of debate among social media users, commentators, and the like. That’s something that unfortunately is not likely to go away anytime soon.

Lil Baby In The Studio

In other news, Lil Baby recently caught some heat for continuing to allegedly (and borderline subliminally) diss Gunna on his new music drops, something that Young Thug’s father doesn’t appreciate. “He need to shut the f**k up,” Jeffery Williams Sr. expressed during a new YouTube interview with Infamous Sylvia. “Because he don’t know what’s going on. You know he’s going off what he heard. Ask Lil Baby have he ever came to a court date. That’s what I want y’all to ask these goddamn rappers and these bloggers with this whole snitch s**t.” Baby replied in comments of coverage of this with “IYKYK,” implying that his answer to that question might be more knowledgeable than Williams Sr. assumes.

Lil D Claims Baby’s A Fan Of His: Watch

Meanwhile, it’s the holiday season, so the 29-year-old probably just wants to be with family and have a wholesome time. Maybe this bit of wild claims and connections can wait until the new year. If not, then we’ll see if he ever responds to allegedly being a big Lil D fan. On that note, stick around on HNHH for more news and updates on Lil Baby.

Metro Boomin Teases Future Collab Project Amid Drake Feud

We were blessed with several highly anticipated albums this year but Future and Metro Boomin are still holding out on their upcoming joint effort. Over the past few months, Metro Boomin has been heavily teasing the forthcoming project without sharing any concrete dates. However, it’s looking like he has a 2024 release date in mind. The St. Louis producer hit social media this week with a photo alongside his “Mask Off” collaborator, captioning the post, “COMING SOON [three eagle emojis].”

Fans have been hopeful to see this album considering their general track record together. Metro played major roles on projects like Monster and DS2 while also contributing to Future’s later albums. Recently, the two collided on “All The Way Live (Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse)” ft. Lil Uzi Vert from Metro Boomin’s soundtrack for the latest Spider-Man movie. Prior to that, Future made his presence felt heavily on “Superhero,” with Chris Brown, “I Can’t Save You (Interlude) ft. Don Toliver, “Lock on Me” with Travis Scott from Heroes & Villains

Metro Boomin & Drake Trade Shots

Metro’s latest comments arrive shortly after he and Drake seemingly took shots at each other. It began when Metro appeared to diss Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss, an album he produced on, because he continued to win at major award shows. “Yet her loss still keeps winning rap album of the year over H&V. proof that award shows are just politics and not for me,” Metro said in a since-deleted tweet. “Idc about awards honestly, the true award and REWARD is knowing that the music I spend so much time on brings joy to peoples everyday lives.”

Drake appeared to respond over the weekend during a livestream. As he held a cheers on camera, he took shots at unnamed “tweet-and-deleters,” which many presumed to be about Metro Boomin, including the producer himself. In response, Metro shared a clip from sketch comedy group RDC World, showcasing four men who donned in country club attire and sporting straight wigs. In the clip, amidst laughter, one of the men humorously advises, “Hold on, Jamal. Don’t pull out the nine.” Hopefully, the rift between Drake and Metro Boomin has no impact on the latter’s upcoming project with Future.

Tina Knowles Claims Beyonce Was In The Studio “24 Hours A Day” Last Month

Tina Knowles says that Beyonce spent the last month in the studio for “24 hours a day.” She reflected on the “sacrifices” her daughter has made during a post on Instagram, on Saturday. In doing so, she shared the Rotten Tomatoes scores for the singer’s new concert film, Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce.

“Last one about the Rotten Tomatoes! Just saw this !! When you see how hard someone works and all the sacrifices they make because for the last month my child was in a studio almost 24 hours a day I was with her most of that time sleeping in the studio,” she wrote. “She only went to take her kids to school to shower and come back.”

Gunna Cooks Up Something Good In New Studio Pics

Gunna may have already dropped his comeback studio album in 2023, but don’t think he’s slowing his roll down anytime soon. Moreover, new pictures emerged of him in the studio, wearing the same dapper-as-ever fit that he donned for GQ‘s Men Of The Year event. While we didn’t get any snippets or other information that isn’t just the College Park, Georgia native’s presence in the booth, this should still be amping fans of his music up. After all, he had quite the dominant year with the viral success of his track “fukumean” and a massive narrative about his plea deal in the YSL RICO case. That conversation’s not over yet, but it’s clear that it bears no relevance in the development and interest in the Drip Season rapper’s career.

Furthermore, he also had plenty of singles and other material to fill out his 2023 run. For example, Gunna just dropped a new song with Turbo titled “Bachelor,” which might just be a loosie or an indicator of future projects to come. Either way, it’s nice to see that, at the very least, there’s a whole fanbase within the game that is eating this stuff up. It may not be the best or most contextually beneficial thing for many, but we can’t hate on an MC getting their bag.

Gunna’s New Studio Snaps: Take A Look

In fact, it’s also been great to see him expand his range, go outside of his comfort zone, and do a great job in the process. Gunna remixed Victor Thompson’s “This Year,” which saw him enter the Afrobeat genre as if he was already in it for years. Hopefully this isn’t the last surprisingly welcome change of pace that we get from him following the release of a Gift & a Curse. If the 30-year-old just sticks to his lane, his fanbase and appeal will only get him so far.

Meanwhile, amidst a host of RIAA certifications cementing that album’s commercial success, he has a lot to celebrate. Wunna’s definitely proved that he can work hard no matter what issues come his way. All that fans are waiting on is for him to, if everything goes well, continue this trend. For more news and the latest updates on Gunna, stay posted on HNHH.

Chrisean Rock & Junior Match Outfits During Studio Session, She Previews Emotional New Music

November has been a chaotic month for Chrisean Rock so far, particularly after she assaulted James Wright Chanel at the venue for Tamar Braxton’s Love & War concert before fleeing the scene. The R&B singer and her team are backing the victim’s pursuit of justice, but for her part, Rock has been denying wrongdoing and focusing on her future. She shared news of an upcoming TV show on a network that’s not Zeus, as well as her alleged island ownership and a look at her apparent new boo, K Suave.

Of course, the 23-year-old is also regularly posting about her two-month-old son, Junior, as he continues to grow. Just a few days ago, Rock said that her baby boy is already trying to talk. He’s certainly getting a taste of how busy his mom’s life is, already appearing in several music videos and at public events alongside the reality star. This past weekend, Chrisean and her firstborn took a trip to the studio together, even wearing matching outfits for the special occasion.

Junior looked ultra comfy in his adorable brown bear suit, while Chrisean kept warm in a fuzzy brown sweater of her own. “Me and the baby matching,” she told followers during a Live session. “We was finna go to our first basketball game today, but we missed it,” the Baltimore native admitted before stepping back to give a full look at the sweet mother-son twinning moment. Elsewhere on social media, Rock posted a clip of the song she was working on at the studio, which mostly reflects on her rollercoaster experiences over the past few months.

“Tryna change my life but all these people keep attacking me,” the Baddies cast member vents in the snippet above. “Ran back to my ex, the world saying it’s toxicity / But they don’t know he blessed me with my only son,” she continues. Do you think we’ll see Chrisean Rock and Blueface reconcile before 2023 is up, or should she give her fling with K Suave a serious shot? Chrisean Rock’s Son Sleepily Smiles In Cute New Photo, She Hits Studio With Lil Mabu

2023 has been a busy year in terms of celebrity pregnancies. Rihanna and ASAP Rocky welcomed their second son, Riot Rose, back in August, meanwhile Ciara confirmed that she and Russell Wilson are expanding their family too. Arguably one of the most high-profile babies to be born lately is Chrisean Rock and Blueface’s son, who the 23-year-old named after herself. Since he arrived a little more than a month ago, the infant has experienced more than some social media users have accomplished in the last year. Junior has appeared in multiple music videos and is currently recovering from hernia surgery.

After Blue called his co-parent out for allegedly neglecting to get their little one’s medical condition taken care of, she happily reported that the procedure went well. On Friday (October 13), the Baddies cast member shared a sweet new photo of her namesake that sees him sleepily smiling for the camera. “Papa bear,” she wrote above the tweet, sharing her heartwarming nickname for Junior.

Junior Looks Happy and Healthy After His Hernia Surgery

Now that she has some experience under her belt, Rock seems to be more comfortable in her role as a mother. Seeing her misuse a baby carrier while at Walmart last month left many social media users expressing concern for Junior, but the reality starlet has made it clear that she’s doing her best to provide for him. At least we know the young boy is sure to be financially secure, as his mom has been working practically non-stop since giving birth on Instagram Live.

On Thursday (October 12), Chrisean posted a photo dump taken during her studio session with Lil Mabu, whom she called a “young genius.” It appears the pair is working on a collaborative single, though the money thrown around the room suggests that a video could’ve been filmed too.

SZA & Future Enjoy Studio Session Together

Two of hip-hop and R&B’s most beloved and dominant artists right now are apparently cooking up something great for fans. Moreover, Future and SZA were recently pictured in the studio together, and it’s impossible to tell what they’re working on. Of course, this should be incredibly exciting because we haven’t really heard these two on many tracks together. In fact, we’ve never heard them in a strict one-on-one capacity, so hopefully this marks their first time doing so. However, we know from previous examples that the trap titan and the soulful superstar can show off a lot of chemistry on wax.

For example, they worked together on last year’s album GOD DID from DJ Khaled on the track “BEAUTIFUL.” Considering the We The Best Music mogul’s approach to songs, maybe you could consider that their first one-on-one collab. Technicalities aside, the more prominent and promising example of Future and SZA’s kinetic energy is the song “TELEKINESIS” on UTOPIA, for which they both assisted Travis Scott with wondrous features. No matter how you slice it, it’s clear that this team has a lot of potential to not just craft fan-favorite hits, but also surprise listeners with a different direction.

Future & SZA Hit The Studio Up Together

After all, “TELEKINESIS” is a bit more slow, dramatic, and sparse than your typical Future banger, so hearing what he could do in that space was a welcome skill to showcase. On the other hand, SZA fit like a glove on the lush and grand outro, but the sonic pallet is very different to what she played with on SOS, Ctrl, and other songs and projects. Another aspect to consider is their narrative contrast. How would someone like the St. Louis native handle an infamously “toxic” personality like the Atlanta lyricist’s?

Regardless, there are also plenty of opportunities for this to come out promptly. For one, Hendrix has a highly anticipated album with Metro Boomin coming out, and the TDE singer is still working hard on her career. As such, hopefully we get a dynamic collaboration sooner rather than later, but we’ll happily wait for as long as we need to. Stay logged into HNHH for more updates and the latest news on SZA and Future.

Sexyy Red & Brent Faiyaz Link Up In The Studio

Studio pics are a double-edged sword; sometimes, they lead up to a hyped release, and other times they never end up happening. What’s more is that some of the session pairings that people get excited over are pretty predictable or no-brainers. No one’s surprised when two rappers of similar styles, popularity, or affiliations link up to cook; they’re just excited to hear it happen. In that same vein, R&B artists working with each other usually results in a blend that, although different for each artist, is basically just math. Moreover, that’s what makes Brent Faiyaz and Sexyy Red meeting in the booth so enticing: no one knows what on Earth they could cook up.

Still, that’s not to say it’s a revolutionary concept. The WASTELAND crooner is well-versed and connected in the rap sphere, and if there’s anyone who doesn’t care about genre labels, it’s Brent Faiyaz. On the other hand, Sexyy Red just exploded in the game, so experimentation and different lanes can surely follow. With that in mind, it’s very exciting to see that both creatives might dip into a wholly different lane, either for one or for both.

Brent Faiyaz & Sexyy Red Could Be Brewing Something Special

Furthermore, both artists have actually been hard at work releasing collaborations or preparing them. For example, Brent Faiyaz recently dropped the single “Moment Of Your Life” with Coco Jones, displaying some infectious chemistry and songwriting skills. On the other hand, Sexyy Red recently teased a team-up with Lil Durk for a remix, which should result in some invigorating energy and bombast. Maybe they will apply what they learned from each to this new process. Although things could be as simple as a feature in each other’s lane, it would be very interesting if they decide to make something fresher together.

Meanwhile, we can’t wait to see what kind of fanbase crossover this will create. Will we ever get to hear Brent let out a soft, sensual, and dreamy “SkeeYee!” adlib as the St. Louis spitter goes through her verse? Only time will tell. With that in mind, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Brent Faiyaz and Sexyy Red.

Kai Cenat Links Up With A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie In The Studio

Kai Cenat may be primarily known as a streamer, but across his skyrocketing career, he’s carved out a lane in the hip-hop realm, as well. Whether it’s inviting rappers on his live streams, calling them up, performing with them, and so much more, rap has a lot of love for the New York native. Most recently, he linked up with another New York native and further proved that he’s an effective tastemaker and an instant way to hype something up. Moreover, Kai and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie recently linked up in the studio, and the rapper played him some new material. Overall, the Twitch giant seemed quite impressed with what he heard, bopping his head throughout and keeping a smile on his face.

On the other hand, the Highbridge MC also had a great time rapping along to his music and commenting a thing or two to Kai Cenat. We can’t hear what they spoke about, but we know one instance remarked how they had the same grey jacket on. Studio session footage is far from a new concept in hip-hop, but it still doesn’t make them any less exciting or fun to witness. After all, many fans would give up an arm and a leg to see their favorite artist in their natural creative element.

A Boogie Brings Kai Cenat To The Studio

What’s more is that Kai Cenat didn’t just tap into the game: it actively supports him. When his giveaway event in NYC devolved into riots, NLE Choppa and Offset came to his defense. It’s still a grey and murky topic, especially given the streamer’s lack of acceptance of personal responsibility in the matter in his public statements. Regardless, this is an opportunity to learn, not a final judgement on his behavior.

Meanwhile, another instance of a rap artist supporting Cenat actually involves another wildly popular streamer. Travis Scott recently voiced his support for the social media star’s efforts to convince Twitch to unban IShowSpeed. We’ll see what other hip-hop adventures are in store for these creators. On that note, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Kai Cenat and A Boogie.
