Soulja Boy’s Ex Testifies About Alleged Abuse In Civil Trial

Soulja Boy has found himself in more hot water as his ex-girlfriend testifies about the alleged abuse from the rapper in 2019. She also revealed photos of her injuries. Although Soulja Boy is known for his outrageous antics. From taking credit as the pioneer for just about anything, to saying Drake stole his entire flow word for word bar for bar, there’s never a dull moment with Big Draco. However, this situation takes the entire cake. Kayla Meyers, Soulja’s ex, showcased her injuries to the court as evidence for the alleged attack at a party in February 2019.

Although, this isn’t the first time Meyers sued the “Crank Dat” rapper. She previously filed a lawsuit against Soulja Boy (DeAndre Cortez Way) and his assistant, Tevin Anderson for sexual battery. The alleged assault and kidnapping occurred at Soulja Boy’s Malibu home, reportedly lasting six hours. As Meyers was leaving, an argument ensued between her and one of Soulja’s assistants. Moreover, she reports that she was knocked on the ground and kicked in the stomach. The artist allegedly then proceeds to tell her she was going to die as he held a “large” gun to her head.

According to the lawsuit, Soulja allowed Meyers to leave at 8 a.m. He also supposedly remarked: “Now get this bitch outta here before I knock her down the stairs.” According to Radar Online, Meyers also showed text and DMs allegedly sent to her by the SODMG founder. Although, no further details were available on this matter.

However, in the past Big Draco was never criminally charged for the assault. Although, weapons were found in his home, which violated his probation. Soulja Boy Apologizes To New Jersey & Immediately Takes It Back

New Jersey doesn’t have the greatest reputation in the world and Soulja Boy got a first-hand understanding of that. Though the people of NJ have been accused of bad attitudes while shows like The Sopranos and Jersey Shore haven’t necessarily helped the cause. However, neither show played a role in Soulja Boy’s overall issues with the state but rather, the attitude of some of the residents that live there. When asked if they would rather $250 in food stamps or dinner with Soulja Boy, plenty of women opted for the former.

Needless to say, the “Crank Dat” star was far from appreciative of how New Jersey residents regard him. He went on a lengthy tirade on Instagram Live where he took out his frustrations with the entire state while quoting Chief Keef’s “Faneto.” “Bi**hes could not be in the same room with me. Ya’ll n***as gon’ die in the hood, gon’ die broke, and gon’ never touch a million dollars. Never gon’ touch 30 million, ya’ll ain’t never gon’ touch 100K in a day, you gon’ die broke, you lived your whole life broke, bi**ch. You ain’t gon’ never be sh*t.”

Soulja Boy Retracts Apology

After blowing up on the state of New Jersey, he returned to Instagram to offer an apology to his fans. “I’m going live right now to shout out to all my fans in New Jersey. I feel like yesterday I overreacted in the video,” Draco said. “I ain’t even watch the video. I just seen the caption that n***as was putting and I went live and went off.” However, a commenter told him that he was banned from entering New Jersey, leading Soulja Boy to retract his apology.

“See, look, I’m trying to be nice… Aye, n****a. Fuck New Jersey. n-gga! We gonna come and blow that shit up, that’s what I’m saying, man,” Soulja Boy said before claiming that he was done with the apologies. “Fuck New Jersey, n***a. We’ll come blow that shit up. We’ll come shoot that shit up. Y’all ain’t got shit. Y’all n***as broke. Fuck y’all, n****a. I’m done apologizing. Fuck Jersey, I’m standing on it.”

Lindsay Lohan, Jake Paul, Soulja Boy, Lil Yachty And More Have Been Charged By The SEC For Promoting Crypto Without Disclosing They Were Paid To Promote Crypto

After only just emerging back into the public eye as the spokesperson for Pepsi’s questionable concoction of milk and cola with the questionable nickname “Pilk,” Lindsay Lohan is in hot water with the SEC over pitching crypto without disclosing that she was paid for the endorsements. She’s also not alone. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lohan, Jake Paul, Kendra Lust, Soulja Boy, Ne-Yo, Lil Yachty, Akon, and Austin Mahone are all being charged in connection with their endorsements for TRON founder Justin Sun’s crypto companies.

“As alleged in the complaint, Sun and others used an age-old playbook to mislead and harm investors by first offering securities without complying with registration and disclosure requirements and then manipulating the market for those very securities,” said director of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement Gurbir S. Grewal. “At the same time, Sun paid celebrities with millions of social media followers to tout the unregistered offerings, while specifically directing that they not disclose their compensation. This is the very conduct that the federal securities laws were designed to protect against regardless of the labels Sun and others used.”

The celebrities charged, except Soulja Boy and Mahone, have agreed to pay $400,000 and effectively plead no contest to avoid admitting wrongdoing. This isn’t legal advice, but they should all probably fire whoever gave them the legal advice that it’s cool to do paid crypto promotion without telling people (and the SEC) that you got paid.

These cases are different than other celebrity-endorsed-crypto cases in the recent past, including the FTX investors suing their celebrity endorsers for allegedly making crypto investments seem safer than they are. For now, most involved in this crypto flim-flam can chug a warm glass of pilk and be glad it’s all over.

Soulja Boy Explains That The World Is Cruel

Soulja Boy went online for a stream recently and explained why he does not open up about his personal life. He knows that the internet does not care about how he feels about things, so he does not tell them. The philosophy that he has for his personal emotions is one of existential nihilism. That is to say, he does not believe that any one person is special. The only reason people listen to him is because of his music and his money.

Soulja Boy started the stream by talking about how you can’t talk about your emotions on the internet. He tells his audience that the world is cruel and unforgiving and that strangers online will make fun of you for your traumas. Soulja Boy also talks about how people call him cocky. He explains that he covers his emotions with his cockiness while flexing his pile of cash that is next to him, implying that the only thing that actually matters in the world is money. Money is the only thing that has any intrinsic value to it. The more you have, the more that you matter to the world. This is standard fare for existential nihilism. When nothing has inherent value, you focus on what has external value, which is money.

Soulja Boy Thinks Nobody Matters

Soulja Boy also explains that the reason he does not get mad at the world for being a cruel and unforgiving place is that he knows that everyone is going through their own issues. Everyone has their own issues that they are not telling the world. As such, we all just focus on making money to avoid said issues.

He finishes the conversation by talking about why he does not do interviews very often. Whenever he does do them, they go viral. As such, there is nothing personal about them. They are pure entertainment, so he will treat them as such while he focuses on getting money. The existential nihilist believes that the world is cruel and unforgiving because we are all insignificant in the grand scheme of things. As such, the only thing that matters is enjoying your time alive and slightly changing the few things that can be controlled, such as money.
