Trippie Redd Teases Forthcoming “LIFE’S A TRIP 2” With “LWRW”

Canton, Ohio multi-hyphenate Trippie Redd is certified hitmaker. We have seen it time and time again over the course of his prolific career. He is never afraid to experiment and has pretty impressive range in general. However, it seems some of that magic has been a little trickier to recapture over the last couple of years or so. While there are some quality tracks sprinkled throughout his past several releases, the consistency looks to have faltered.

Trippie Redd is looking to bring back that hype with a new single “LWRW.” It will take about a couple of weeks to see if this effort resonates. However, for us, it comes across as a little to repetitive. We never like saying any music is mediocre, but it just falls a little flat.

It is not a terrible track by any means. But, it is passable at best. But, at least “LWRW” is leading up to something larger. According to Genius, this track is going to be a single for follow-up to LIFE’S A TRIP, his fan-favorite 2018 record. He shared this news on his Instagram back in early December in a now-deleted post with the caption, “Life’s a Trip 2 Every last song will be recorded on a yacht. Taking trips for this ! gotta see the world and work.”

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “LWRW,” by Trippie Redd? Is this one of his strongest tracks in recent memory, why or why not? What is your favorite element of the song and why? Sexyy Red Reunites With Tay Keith, Brings A Confident Banger For The Ladies On “Get It Sexyy”

It is a common occurrence for people to start hating on someone who sees mounds of success come their way. Sometimes the confusion is valid, especially when the means in which someone accrues popularity is a little questionable. Sexyy Red seems to fit that bill for most doubters, as her rap style and actions are shockingly palatable. However, if there is one thing we have come to learn about Sexyy Red is that she is going to keep on chugging, as “Get It Sexyy” proves that.

This is the Missouri femcee’s first solo offering since she remixed the viral deluxe cut from Hood Hottest Princess, “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Mama).” That new take offered up Chief Keef’s talents. They actually just rekindled their new found chemistry on “DAMN SHORTY” from DIRTY NACHOS.

“Get It Sexyy” also sees another reuniting, as Red and Tay Keith were back in the booth together for this one. His loud and aggressive beats have been a natural fit with the ratchetness she brings, since their first collab. While there is not anything new from this duo, the ladies are probably going to be all over the sexually confident energy. The haters are not going to like hearing her in 2024, but this is seemingly just the beginning for Sexyy Red.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Get It Sexyy,” by Sexyy Red and Tay Keith? Is this one of her strongest tracks as of late, why or why not? Cardi B Continues To Regain Her Trademark Confidence On “Enough (Miami)”

It was clear that over the past several months, Cardi B was not in the best mental headspace. Of course, one of the key contributing factors to that was her split with Offset. Additionally, her actions on social media were also hard to stomach for most people. But it seems that the New York superstar has been slowly finding herself again and having fun making music. Case and point, Cardi B’s newest track “Enough (Miami).”

This comes two weeks after her initial comeback with “Like What (Freestyle).” That single has been a hit with fans so far, racking up over nine million views and still on the trending for music page on YouTube. With “Enough (Miami),” Cardi B is showcasing a similar formula, which is be undeniably confident. Like we said earlier, she has been rebuilding herself, so the energy both songs have been giving makes sense.

However, there is an even more aggressive fervor to Cardi’s track. The beat, crafted by OG Parker, Romano, and DJ SwanQo, is darker and punchier. Part of the reason that is because Cardi sampled Missy Elliott’s “She’s a B****” on “Like What,” which has a more rhythmic feeling. The gritty femcee is giving this track her all with fast flows, some funny and hard-hitting bars, and of course, her confident energy.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Enough (Miami),” by Cardi B? Is this a stronger track than “Like What (Freestyle),” why or why not?
