Canton, Ohio multi-hyphenate Trippie Redd is certified hitmaker. We have seen it time and time again over the course of his prolific career. He is never afraid to experiment and has pretty impressive range in general. However, it seems some of that magic has been a little trickier to recapture over the last couple of years or so. While there are some quality tracks sprinkled throughout his past several releases, the consistency looks to have faltered.

Trippie Redd is looking to bring back that hype with a new single “LWRW.” It will take about a couple of weeks to see if this effort resonates. However, for us, it comes across as a little to repetitive. We never like saying any music is mediocre, but it just falls a little flat.

It is not a terrible track by any means. But, it is passable at best. But, at least “LWRW” is leading up to something larger. According to Genius, this track is going to be a single for follow-up to LIFE’S A TRIP, his fan-favorite 2018 record. He shared this news on his Instagram back in early December in a now-deleted post with the caption, “Life’s a Trip 2 Every last song will be recorded on a yacht. Rapsody Reveals A Lot To Listeners On “Stand Tall”

For the better part of a decade, Rapsody has floored fans with her tremendous pen game and ear for great production. After a four-year hiatus, the North Carolina-bred MC returned in 2023 with her GOATED: Rapsody LP with a bevy of features from JID, SiR, BJ The Chicago Kid, Queen Latifah and more. In the next couple of months she will be returning with another LP and to hype it up, Rapsody is here with “Stand Tall.”

This track is essentially a tell-all in a sense. In “Stand Tall,” she addresses some personal topics such as authenticity, sexual preferences, anxieties. The accompanying music video is also pretty heavy. According to the press release, Rapsody is speaking with actress Sanaa Lathan for about two minutes or so about the things she then attacks in the song.

Flo Milli has been absolutely popping since the release of her hit single “Never Lose Me.” While it is a simple song at its core and a theme we have heard before in female hip-hop, it is so damn catchy. Fans are in agreeance, as the November 30 release has garnered over 166 million streams on Spotify. To help bring more excitement to the track, Flo Milli has recruited Cardi B and SZA for a new “remix.”

This is now the third time that the Mobile, Alabama rapper and singer has redone the track. On Christmas Eve, Flo grabbed Lil Yachty and Bryson Tiller to add their unique flare to the uber-sexual single. This latest edition with the two hip-hop mistresses is now tied for the longest runtime out of everyone rendition, standing at 2:45. Milli does a great job incorporating her guests’ parts, as neither of them overstay their welcome.

This comes two weeks after her initial comeback with “Like What (Freestyle).” That single has been a hit with fans so far, racking up over nine million views and still on the trending for music page on YouTube. With “Enough (Miami),” Cardi B is showcasing a similar formula, which is be undeniably confident. Like we said earlier, she has been rebuilding herself, so the energy both songs have been giving makes sense.

However, there is an even more aggressive fervor to Cardi’s track. The beat, crafted by OG Parker, Romano, and DJ SwanQo, is darker and punchier. The gritty femcee is giving this track her all with fast flows, some funny and hard-hitting bars, and of course, her confident energy.
