Last year, Lil Yachty launched his new label CONCRETE BOYS under Quality Control. He’s already gotten to work on filling out the roster with impressive young talent and has a new compilation on the way to help show off their talents. Last year the label dropped “MO JAMS” which came with the announcement of the upcoming compilation tape, even though the song isn’t expected to appear on it. But now were finally getting a taste of some of Yachty’s artists.

Lil Yachty himself is joined by CAMO and KARRAHBOO on the absolute banger of a new single “FAMILY BUSINESS.” The track also comes with an accompanying music video that is heavily stylized. It featured the various label members in matching baggy red shirts and big jeans in a variety of locations like a living room and outside a gas station. The description for the song also includes a link to pre-order the upcoming full label compilation. It officially confirms that the album will drop pretty soon, hitting streaming on April 5.

Future and Metro Boomin have taken the hip-hop world by storm with their incredible new album We Don’t Trust You. Overall, this album is getting a whole lot of love thanks to the track “Like That” with Kendrick Lamar. By now, everyone knows that this song is directed at none other than Drake. Fans are waiting patiently for a response, however, it has yet to arrive. Meanwhile, Future and Metro are readying another album that will drop on April 12th.

In the meantime, fans have been digging into this new project and finding their favorite sons. One track that needs to be considered is “GTA.” This is your typical lowkey banger from Future and Metro. The production is fantastic and it is what you would hope for from Metro. He comes through with some spine-chilling melodies that Future is able to float over. It’s a menacing song from start to finish, and it matches the energy of the rest of the record.

The next album between these two is supposedly going to have an R&B focus to it. However, there is no confirmation that this is the case. Out of “go!” and “gun kontrol,” this may be her craziest and most zany track from the album yet. BbyMutha’s “lines” definitely lives up to the title is has. This three-minute track gives you the feeling after taking some seriously trippy psychedelics. The warped beat and hallucinating vocal delivery from her tie everything together in the perfect way that only she could do.

During her Fifth Harmony days, the radio was constantly bumping “Work from Home” with Ty Dolla $ign. “Worth It” with Kid Ink was also another party hit during that era. Of course, when she went solo, Camila put out “Havana” with Young Thug and “My Oh My” with DaBaby.

Most saw those previous crossovers as successful. However, “I LUV IT” is not getting the reaction that Carti and Camila may have not been expecting. People are extremely mixed on it so far with some saying that this ruined Carti’s “generational run.” The deeper delivery makes its return to a fast-paced beat that just does not fit the lighter tone of the song. Additionally, while repetitive choruses can be done right, Camila’s “I love it” refrain just does not come off right. Finally, the Gucci Mane “Lemonade” post-chorus sample is out of place too.
