Cardi B, in typical fashion, did not hold back on the haters of her being on Flo Milli’s remix of “Never Lose Me” alongside SZA. During a recent Instagram Live, Cardi walked around and had some words for her followers.

“When the Flo Milli remix came out, b*tches were acting like they were so mad that I was on it,” she said. “‘Cardi not even gonna sound good on this.’ And then when it came out, you know the haters — some of them didn’t even hear it. They was like, ‘She just don’t go with the song.’ And now there’s over 10,000 TikToks of people talking about, ‘B*tch could never be me in her life!’”

“And the artist — which is Flo Milli — said she f*cking loved the verse,” Cardi added. “And she’s a real b*tch. She ain’t gonna be like, ‘Oh yeah I love it!’ just because she wanted me on the song. She loved it. And SZA loved it, b*tch. I wanna say this why you can’t listen to no f*cking body.”

Flo Milli had dropped the remix of the song a few days earlier, as part of her Fine Ho, Stay album.

Cardi B Claps Back At Fans Who Criticized Her Flo Milli Remix

Cardi B has already dropped two new singles this year and is gearing up to drop her long awaited second album. But one of her most talked about performances may actually be a guest appearance on an already established hit. That came when she teamed up with Flo Milli and SZA for a special version of “Never Lose Me” that landed on Milli’s new album Fine Ho, Stay. The song was already a hit from earlier this year, partially propelled by a remix with Lil Yachty. This week it sits at number 34 on the Hot 100 and it’s expected to rise back up the charts with the new remix.

Despite the success of the song, Cardi B remembers people’s initial reaction to it. In a video she recently shared to her Instagram story she calls out the haters who claimed she wouldn’t “fit in” on the song. The evidence she brings up is pretty hard to dispute. She mentions the hundreds of thousands of people using her audio from the song on TikTok as evidence that people like the song. The track has already racked up more than 5 million streams on Spotify in a week as well. Check out the video of Cardi refuting fan critiques below.

Flo Milli, SZA, And Cardi B Bring Feminine Mystique To Their ‘Never Lose Me’ Remix

At long last, Flo Milli has shared her long-awaited sophomore album, Fine Ho, Stay. To celebrate the milestone, the Alabama rapper has shared a remix to her viral hit, “Never Lose Me.” On the remix, Flo is joined by Cardi B and SZA — and the three of them issue a reminder that they’re not the ones to take for granted.

Flo’s verses remain the same as those on the original, however, SZA gives the song a little bit more romantic flair.

“Hit me up, I’ll blow your mind / He speed in a Jeep with his hand on my booty / He touchin’ on me, I get goofy / From the ‘burbs, actin’ bougie,” she rap-sings on her verse.

Cardi steps in with some more heat, and as one can expect, adds some clever, yet hilarious one-liners.

“He love me, ain’t no need for no groupies / Hit Miami, I’m struttin’ my two-piece / On the beach, actin’ bad, we on Tubi / He don’t never ever wanna lose me,” Cardi raps.

Flo Milli fans have been looking forward to the promised release of the SZA-featuring remix of her hit single “Never Lose Me,” but today, they got a pleasant surprise on that count. In addition to finding out its release date via her third album, Fine Ho, Stay, which drops this Friday, March 15, but they also found out who else is on it: Cardi B.

Cardi, whose run of star-powered remix features has included team-ups with GloRilla (“Tomorrow 2“), Latto (“Put It On Da Floor Again“), and FendiDa Rappa (“Point Me 2“), has become the rap it-girls‘ it-girl as fans have impatiently waited for word of her own second studio album. Incidentally, Cardi has been much more active on that front lately; the release of the “Never Lose Me” remix will actually coincide with the release of her own single “Miami,” which will follow “Bongos” and “Like What” in Cardi’s efforts to promote the impending album.

The two rappers announced the news in a quick video on Instagram in which Flo Milli mugs the camera while the track plays and Cardi enters the frame from offscreen. You can check out the teaser below and the full track in less than nine hours when it drops at midnight ET/9pm PT.

SZA & Flo Milli’s “Never Lose Me” Remix Coming On Rap Diva’s Next Album

There’s a lot of competition among female rappers these days. Instead of letting this hold them back, our favourite femcees are using it to get more creative than ever before, constantly finding new ways to set themselves apart from contemporaries. A great example of this is Flo Milli, who nearly always stays out of the way in terms of drama, but has never been known to miss when spitting over a beat. She particularly proved this during last year’s celebrations for the 50th anniversary of hip-hop and continues to make her presence felt while readying her sophomore studio album, Fine Ho, Stay.

Recent singles to come from the Alabama native include “Never Lose Me” (plus subsequent remixes with Lil Yachty and Bryson Tiller) and “BGC.” Music lovers think these titles might arrive on Milli’s next album, along with tracks like “Hot Box,” “Chocolate Rain,” and “Fruit Loop.” As her most popular release continues to make rounds on TikTok and Instagram, the 24-year-old has plans to capitalize on it even further, this time tapping a renowned female vocalist to join her on the gerreaux-produced beat.

SZA & Flo Milli Confirm Their First Collab is OTW

Since Milli first hinted at joining forces with SZA, we’ve been eagerly waiting for the next edition of “Never Lose Me” to hit streamers. However, the “Pussycat Doll” hitmaker shared via Twitter/X earlier this month that she won’t be sharing this version as a single. “I’m not putting the remix out ’til I drop my album ‘cuz [I know] how y’all get lol,” she teased. “But it’s in the box 😂🤌🏾,” the TDE songstress chimed in, letting us know she’s submitted her verse.

With her Fine Ho, Stay LP being confirmed over seven months ago now, hip-hop heads are growing curious to see who Flo Milli will reference both aesthetically and sonically throughout the project. In the meantime, we know she’ll be joining Gunna on his Bittersweet Tour, which is set to kick off in early May. Flo Milli’s new single “Never Lose Me” is the Alabama rapper’s first to achieve a Billboard Hot 100 chart position, debuting at No. 84 at the end of December. It has since climbed to No. 19 — a testament to its popularity both on TikTok and on streaming — but it figures to shoot even higher when its remix featuring 2023 chart champion SZA drops. The two rappers have been teasing its release (yes, SZA is RAPPING rapping in the snippets they’ve shared) for the past two weeks, with SZA previewing the lyrics on Instagram and Twitter before mischievously deleting the posts.

The collaboration has likely been in the works for even longer than that, as SZA recorded her first in-studio meeting with Flo nearly three years on Twitter. As yet, there’s no release date, but from Flo Milli’s reactions to SZA’s verse, it sounds like it’s coming along and should be hitting streamers sooner rather than later.

The remix will almost certainly see a huge bump in the track’s streaming numbers, as fans weren’t able to get enough of SZA last year, driving her second album SOS to ten non-consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 and turning its singles “Kill Bill” and “Snooze” into streaming juggernauts, with the former breaking Lil Nas X’s record for the longest-running No. 1 on the Hot 100 at 21 weeks. In early 2023, Top Dawg Entertainment president Punch, who has been navigating the New Jersey native’s career all along, said that she could very well release a full rap album and it looks like the “Never Lose Me” remix could go a long way toward supporting that argument.

It’s not the only release from SZA for which fans have been waiting impatiently. She’s been teasing a deluxe version of SOS called Lana (a shortened version of her real name, Solana) since November, only revealing a few potential album covers in the meantime.

Flo Milli Teases Exciting Remix With SZA For “Never Lose Me”

The world of hip-hop collaborations is about to get a sizzling upgrade! Flo Milli and SZA drop hints of an upcoming remix that’s set to take the music scene by storm. Fans were treated to an exclusive sneak peek into the dynamic duo’s collaboration. Flo Milli shared a series of text messages from none other than SZA herself. In a text exchange that’s making waves across social media, SZA seemingly offered her vocals on Flo Milli’s track “Never Lose Me.” Declaring, “At ur service bookiiieeee.” The revelation sent shockwaves through the fanbase. With imaginations running wild at the prospect of these two powerhouse artists joining forces on a remix that promises to be nothing short of spectacular.

Building up the anticipation, SZA took to her Instagram story to share Flo Milli’s song. Accompanied by a snapshot from the studio where Pro Tools was wide open – a telltale sign that something magical is in the works. The image sparked a frenzy among fans who eagerly await the drop of this highly anticipated remix. Furthermore, the excitement reached its peak as fans flooded the comments section with words of encouragement and enthusiasm.

Furthermore, one fan expressed their appreciation for SZA’s support, noting, “S/o to SZA because Beyoncé doesn’t get on no R&B girls’ music at all!” The sentiment underscores the significance of this collaboration and the star power that both Flo Milli and SZA bring to the table. Moreover, another fan highlighted Flo Milli’s individuality in the rap game. Applauding her for forging her own path without seeking endorsement from established artists. “I love that Flo Milli is finding her own way and not looking for a piggyback from Nicki and pandering to the Barbz. This is so rare in female rap today. I love this for her!” The sentiment resonates with those who appreciate authenticity in an industry often marked by collaboration for validation.

Moreover, “Never Lose Me” has already seen one remix from Bryson Tiller. The song has been well received. As the buzz continues to build, one fan succinctly captured the collective sentiment. Declaring, “This is about to be too sexy.” With such high expectations and the chemistry brewing between Flo Milli and SZA, it’s safe to say that this remix is poised to set the airwaves ablaze and leave an indelible mark on the hip-hop landscape. Flo Milli Reminds Us That Fumbling Her Is A Major L On Her New Single, ‘Never Lose Me’

Flo Milli continues to make a case for why you want her on your team. Tonight (December 1), the Alabama native has dropped her catchy new bop of a single, “Never Lose Me.”

On “Never Lose Me,” Flo reminds us that she’s hard to woo, and she’s even harder to keep.

“How you gon’ prove you could treat me right? / You stole my heart like a thief in the night / Yeah, he my man, he was never your type / If you try me, ho, it’s on sight,” she raps on one of the song’s verses.

On the chorus, she hammers home to a romantic interest, “Tell me you don’t ever wanna lose me.”

This particular single is one of Flo’s more melodic songs, as she showcases both her rap skills and her soft, R&B vocal stylings. In an interview with The Forty Five, which took place earlier this year, Flo said we can expect her upcoming second album, Fine Ho, Stay to demonstrate more rawness.

“I’ve been [exploring that vulnerability] a little bit more,” said Flo. “But I’ve been exploring lots of different pockets. Y’all will see on the new album the versatility that I bring.”

You can listen to “Never Lose Me” above.
