Slim Jxmmi Slams Millyz For Using The Same “Stan” Sample As Swae Lee

It appears that there’s a competition of samples between Rae Sremmurd and Jadakiss co-signed rapper Millyz. The Boston-bred lyricist recently revealed a new song that samples Eminem’s hit record, “Stan.” Millyz interpolates Ditto’s hook over a pitched-up version of her melody that showcases his range while reflecting on his own hardships. “Even if I could, it would all be straight/ With this pistol on my waist/ It reminds me that I could die tonight, die tonight,” he sings on the hook.

Months prior, Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee lit up the Internet when he previewed a new song that also contained the same sample as Millyz’s latest record. On the record, Swae’s delicate vocals bring a youthful energy to the record. “My lean’s gone cold I’m wondering why I, got out of bed at all/ 3.5 clouds up my window, and I can’t see at all/ And even if I could it would all be great, with these racks stacked up too tall,” he raps. Just a few days ago, he suggested that he finally got the sample cleared for Sremm 4 Life.

Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee Vs. Millyz

Just before the release of “Tonight,” Millyz confirmed that he got Eminem’s blessing. “OMG WE CLEARED THE ‘STAN SAMPLE!!!” Millyz wrote. “DROPPIN 3/9 SALUTE TO THE [goat].” However, this led to Rae Sremmurd member Slim Jxmmi leaping into the comment section on Akademiks’ post to tear down Millyz’s upcoming single since it uses the same sample from Swae Lee’s upcoming release. “Naw this ain’t it fam! Sremm4 got the bangings version! Sample cleared!” Slim Jxmmi wrote.

Millyz ultimately shrugged off the Rae Sremmurd rapper’s comments, writing, “I cleared the sample too lil did u be aight.” While the comments spread across social media, ultimately landing on Akademiks’ page, Slim Jxmmi doubled down afterward, writing, “Wasn’t nobody on this sample till my brother leaked his version singing live.” Overall, Millyz appeared caught off-guard because he never expected to feud with the “No Flex Zone” duo. “Havin smoke w rae shermurd is crazy,” he wrote along with several laughing emojis. So far, Swae Lee hasn’t chimed in on the matter but we’ll have to wait until April 7th to hear what Rae Sremmurd has in store on Sremm 4 Life.

Rae Sremmurd Announced The Release Date For ‘Sremm4Life’ With Its Stylish New Artwork

Just when it seemed like the wait for Rae Sremmurd’s fourth album was becoming interminable, the sibling act from Tupelo, Mississippi announced the release date for Sremm4Life along with its minimalist album cover on Twitter. The release date will be one month from now, on April 7.

The artwork for the album closely follows the trend established with the first three installments of their Sremmlife albums, with a white background and both brothers mugging for the camera. This time, they’re decked out in stylish outfits, as Slim Jxmmi lies on his back and Swae Lee stands next to him, both throwing up four fingers to mark the milestone.

Fans were, understandably, pretty psyched to see the announcement, as we’ve all been waiting since 2018 for a follow-up to SR3MM, their third album, which consisted of three discs — a group album and a solo album for each brother. Since then, the Brown boys appeared in an episode of Lil Dicky’s FX comedy Dave, Swae Lee became a father while Jxmmi had a couple of run-ins with the law, and they released three new singles to promote the album.

Denial” dropped last June, “Torpedo” came out at the end of the year, and their latest single, “Sucka Or Sum,” arrived in January. The album itself, Sremm4Life, is due 4/7 through EarDrummers / Interscope.

Slim Jxmmi’s Ex Is Accepting Stepdaddy Applications

Slim Jxmmi’s ex-girlfriend Kee just posted “Stepdaddy Applications” on her IG Story and invited “serious inquiries only.” Moreover, she said that any hopeful applicants “must like to travel, dinosaurs, sharks and the science museum.” In addition, she included some standard prompts in the application for users to fill out. The typical name, date, address, etc. was included, along with available hours, transportation, and other considerations. Ultimately, it’s a pretty funny and over-the-top apparent dig at Jxmmi, who Kee recently took aim at again after his rumored new romance.

“Y’all keep sending me this,” Kee said about a picture of the Rae Sremmurd rapper with fellow MC Sukihana. “They posted it for a reason. this is the most attention he’s gotten since SremmLife 2 and knocking my teeth back. He’s blocked for a reason. People do not change. Had to learn to stop feeling bad and making excuses for how he treats me. I love myself, my son and my PH balance more.” In fact, this application might be to spite Jxmmi for his role in their son’s life. Or, she’s genuinely looking for someone to share the load.

Slim Jxmmi’s Ex Looking For Stepdaddy

Regardless, Kee accused the “No Type” rapper of domestic violence on various occasions. Last year, she posted “recording [of] his [management] asking [her] to protect him and lie to a judge on a public statement to help his career,” she expressed. “Took me a while to get the courage to post this, because I didn’t want to look ‘dumb’ or listen to ‘She’s going to go back.’ But he’s given me no choice. After years of going through these kinds of things, I had one of my biggest breakdowns a few days ago. Out of anger and emotion threatened my own life and my son’s because I was so fed up from how he treats me. I didn’t mean any of the texts,” referencing suicidal texts she allegedly sent him after postpartum depression.

“He physically assaulted me while pregnant [with] my friend present,” she continued. “He’s [broken] my phones in front of his team, screamed at me and pushed me around in front of them. They always point fingers like I’m making him do these things. This is my truth. Aaquil Brown for years has been emotionally, physically, and mentally abusive to me.” Regardless of your take, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on Slim Jxmmi and his ex.

Slim Jxmmi’s Ex Accuses Him Of Abuse After He Posed In Photos With Sukihana

Just when you thought the day would end without any other internet controversy, Slim Jxmmi and Sukihana heated things up. There wasn’t any warning about these two, but they appeared in flirtatious photos together. In one, Sukihana showed off her backside with her leg lifted around the Rae Sremmurd rapper. In another, it looked as if Suki might have been twerking on him, up close and personal. It all looked like a bit of parking structure fun, but the mother of Jxmmi’s child added her voice to the discussion on her Instagram Story.

Jxmmi’s ex Kee has repeatedly accused him of domestic violence. In June 2022, she took to social media with several claims, including that the hitmaker pulled her hair out. She accused him of stepping on her face and physically assaulting her while she was pregnant. After the photos of Sukihana and Jxmmi went viral, Kee returned with similar sentiments.

“Y’all keep sending me this,” Kee wrote on her Story. “They posted it for a reason. this is the most attention he’s gotten since SremmLife 2 and knocking my teeth back.” In another slide, she added, “He’s blocked for a reason. people do not change. had to learn to stop feeling bad and making excuses for how he treats me. I love myself, my son and my PH balance more.”

She added, “I wish them the best thought. this is the attention he needs for Sremm4 [red heart emoji] y’all go get that in April lol.” Suki seemed to catch the posts, and she referenced Kee mentioning having her teeth knocked out. The Florida rapper shared a photo showing her missing front tooth. “Mines already out,” she penned over the image.

Kee Previously Accused Slim Jxmmi Of Being On Drugs

During last year’s revelatory posts, Kee claimed that her ex was both on drugs and withdrawing from them during their relationship. She said people close to them knew of the alleged abuse, including one of their producers. “This is my truth,” she also stated at the time. “Aaquil Brown for years has been emotionally, physically, and mentally abusive to me.” Slim Jxmmi has not responded to this most recent controversy.

Rae Sremmurd Shine On Their Carefree New Song ‘Sucka Or Sum’ Ahead Of A Potential Fourth Album

Rae Sremmurd returned with a brand new song, “Sucka Or Sum.” The duo members, Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee, have put out a handful of songs recently, including “Torpedo,” “Denial,” and “Community D*ck” featuring Flo Milli.

They previously teased a snippet of the song in a Twitter video as they got fans excited by jamming out. Produced by Jaxx, “Sucka Or Sum” opens with a calming instrumental before dropping the booming beat.

The music video for the song finds the two brothers dressed as construction workers, in fancy suits, and just having a good time in their regular clothes. Add in some enticing visual effects, and it creates a seriously cool viewing experience.

Last May, Rae Sremmurd began teasing their long-awaited fourth studio album, which could potentially feature their latest few singles. “SREMM4LIFE,” they tweeted along with a photo of a “4” on fire. However, there is currently not a release date and only limited info about the project.

“We’ve got to give them something new, man. As an artist, it’s hard to be yourself, and I feel like with this album, it was like we’re not following a trend,” Jxmmi told GQ last year. “We want set the tone.”

Rae Sremmurd Performed ‘Torpedo’ On ‘Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party,’ Amplifying ‘Sremm4Life’ Watch

Rae Sremmurd dropped the video for “Torpedo” on Friday, December 30. It’s the latest single, following “Denial” and “Community D*ck” featuring Flo Milli, to amplify buzz that SREMM4LIFE is coming sooner than later. The buzz only got louder when Rae Sremmurd performed “Torpedo” on Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party last night, December 31. The NBC special aired live from Miami.

The two-hour show opened with Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton, her co-host and godmother, singing “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll” in matching leopard-print outfits. Up next: Rae Sremmurd, who started a medley with their 2016 No. 1 song “Black Beatles” before hitting “Torpedo.” They finished by venturing into the crowd for “No Type.”

Later in the show, Swae Lee returned to the stage for a “Party Up The Street” duet with Cyrus. Swae Lee, Cyrus and Mike Will Made-It, who co-produced with Andrew Watt, dropped the vibe-inducing song as part of Cyrus’ 2019 six-track EP She Is Coming.

In January 2022, Cyrus posted photos from the studio with Rae Sremmurd, Mike Will Made-It, and others. Andrew Watt, meanwhile, shared all the way back in June 2021 that he was planning on working on another album with Cyrus. Watt told Guitar World that the album was “still in the planning stages,” but it appears we’re close to Cyrus’ Plastic Hearts followup.

Cyrus confirmed during Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party and across her social media platforms that a new single, “Flowers,” is arriving on January 13, which may or may not purposely be on Liam Hemsworth’s birthday. Either way, we’re here for it.

Rae Sremmurd Drops Gritty Visual For ‘Torpedo’ As Another Teaser Of Their Upcoming Project ‘Sremm4Life’

Well, with just a few days left in the year, it looks like Rae Sremmurd’s long-awaited SREMM4LIFE project won’t hit streaming platforms until 2023. So far, the duo has released two singles from the album, “Denial” and “Community D*ck” featuring Flo Milli. To hold fans over until the project receives an official release date, brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi have dropped the video for their new single, “Torpedo.”

Co-produced by Sonny Digital and Austin Powerz, “Torpedo” is a complete departure from their past two singles. “Denial” was a melodic track about the rollercoaster of emotions that come with being in love, whereas “Community D*ck” was an attempt at the commercial rap sound with playful banter about the reckless sexual escapades of men. “Torpedo,” on the other hand, is explicitly made for the streets.

The video, co-directed by Matt Swinsky and Medet Shayakhmetov, quite literally showcases Rae Sremmurd and their posse enjoying what their native neighborhood has to offer — parking lot pimpin’, exotic car drag races, and hood highlife flexing, which is driven home as Swae Lee raps in the chorus, “Takin’ off to the money, torpedo / Now all the h*es tryna find me like Nemo / Pockets is tight as a speedo / Jet fuel makin’ me float / What exactly they mad at me for?”
