Kendrick Lamar has given fans plenty of reason to praise him over the years. He’s got highly acclaimed classics in his back catalog like To Pimp A Butterfly and Good Kid m.A.A.d City. After taking a 5-year absence from releasing studio albums he returned in 2022 with Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. The album was a huge hit both critically and commercially and the tour that followed received rave reviews from fans in attendance. Even other artists can’t help but praise him. Kid Cudi recently shouted out one of the rapper’s excellent live shows as inspiration for the direction of his new album.

But one thing fans aren’t praising is a new selfie Kendrick shared. The picture itself is pretty simple. It’s an up-close and personal shot of Kendrick’s face while he’s sporting a furry hat accessorized by some gold Chanel pins. The picture is strikingly silly and fans took to the comments to joke along. “How old n*ggas take pictures when they first get a iPhone” one of the top comments jokes. “0 aura. Kendrick Lamar has had a pretty busy past few days coinciding with Paris Fashion Week. He appeared at the Chanel fashion show alongside some other stars like Naomi Campbell and Baby Keem. With her golden blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes, the Graham family matriarch’s genes didn’t pass off to Drake. Interstingly, they bypassed the Scorpion rapper in favour of gracing his son, Adonis, who resembles a cherub boy with his luscious golden girls and sparkling orbs. Champagne Papi was initially uncertain about his paternity, but he’s now comfortably assumed the role of a single parent, thanks to guidance from Sandra.

As we enter 2024, Drake was happy to show off a new selfie with his maker, who shielded her eyes with oversized rose-tinted glasses. The multi-talent wrapped his arm around Graham while pulling a slight pucker for the camera. Her bright, white teeth cracked a smile while capturing the sweet moment. We’ve heard the “Miss Me” rapper share plenty of bars about his parent’s troubled relationship throughout his discography, such as one “Two Birds, One Stone,” when he spit, “More blessings for Sandy and him, more life / My parents never got it right, but, God bless em both, I think we all alike.”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Celebrates Freedom With New Post-Prison Selfie

Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released from prison earlier this week after spending nearly eight years behind bars, and to celebrate, she hopped on Instagram to share her “First selfie of freedom.” The now 32-year-old woman’s highly disputed case has been thrust back into the spotlight amid her release, sparking further debate surrounding her conviction. Famously, Gypsy Rose’s mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard is said to have had Munchausen syndrome by proxy. She convinced her daughter and medical professionals that Gypsy Rose suffered from various physical and developmental disabilities for years, despite her being perfectly healthy. This resulted in frequent unnecessary and often painful procedures and treatments.

Years into the abuse, Gypsy Rose met a man named Nicholas Godejohn online, and they eventually developed a romantic relationship. She later enlisted his help to escape her mother’s mistreatment. “I wanted to be free of her hold on me,” she said during her former secret lover’s trial. “I talked him into it.” In June of 2015, Godejohn ventured to Springfield where Gypsy Rose and her mother lived, and stabbed Dee Dee Blanchard to death.

“That B*** is dead!” Gypsy Rose posted on Facebook before her mother’s body was discovered, bearing 17 stab wounds. She pled guilty to second-degree murder in July of 2016 and was later sentenced to 10 years. Godejohn was sentenced to life in prison. Gypsy Rose is now on parole and has been met with an outpouring of love and support from peers as she navigates her newfound freedom.

“The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard,” her six-hour tell-all, airs on Lifetime in January of 2024. “I want to make sure that people in abusive relationships do not resort to murder,” she told People of the upcoming docuseries. “It may seem like every avenue is closed off but there is always another way. However, Benji Blue Bills isn’t the only person feuding with Carti. After a VHS-style home video of Carti spending time with his son went viral online, Iggy Azalea took to X to express how she felt about the father-son moment. “Its cool how you can fit damn near every visit into just one video Talented!” Azalea wrote in direct response to one post of the video. Azalea’s implication appears to be that Carti doesn’t spend enough time with Onyx and thus can fit all of his father-son time into a concise 2:40-long video.

However, fans on the whole weren’t taking Azalea’s side in the matter. “RESPECT CARTI HES OUR GLORIOUS KING,” one Carti fan wrote. “Probably cause you don’t let him hang out with him,” added another, directly addressing Azalea’s claims. “This was special for everybody and you had to ruin it,” lamented a third. Of course, Azalea’s die-hard fanbase quickly rushed to her defense, leading to a pitched battle of Carti stans and Iggy stans in the comments section. However, Carti himself has not responded to Azalea’s comments.

Wiz Khalifa Selfie Backfires After Fans Roast His Outfit

Putting yourself out there is hard for everyone and that can include celebrities. Consequently some take a pretty minimal approach to their social media presence deliberately to avoid some of the toxicity that can fester on those platforms. But others are more willing to embrace it, though that doesn’t mean it won’t backfire. Subsequently, that recently happened to Wiz Khalifa after he shared a series of bathroom mirror selfies. In the picture, he’s sporting a mostly black fit headlined by a black puffy jacket and pointy black shoes.

It was probably primarily the shoes that led to the fit getting attacked on all fronts by fans in the comments. “Wiz u my n*gga but these 3 musketeer…medieval…2geese for a pint of goat milk a*s shoes bruh,” one of the top comments reads. “This man done turned into Rumplestiltskin,” and “Boy you look like you crawled out the ground” other comments agreed. Wiz Khalifa has had an extremely prolific 2023 dropping multiple mixtapes throughout the year. His newest project is a mixtape called Decisions which dropped at the start of December. It’s his 3rd mixtape of the year and it features 13 tracks. The songs on the album are handled entirely by Wiz himself with no features. It directly follows Khali Sober another mixtape that preceded it by less than two months, dropping back in October. That mixtape was also handled entirely by Wiz on his own with no support from features.

Wiz also appeared on a soundtrack cut for the film Good Burger 2 back in November. He teamed up with Lex Luger and Chad Hugo for the song which is called “No Fair.” The single and the mixtapes he’s shared this year are part of an extremely prolific period for the rapper that dates back years now.
