Rihanna Will Perform At The 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show
Rihanna and the NFL have seemingly confirmed that the Bajan pop star will perform at next year’s Super Bowl halftime show. Earlier today, Rihanna shared a picture of a football on Instagram, which the official NFL account liked.
Shortly after, the NFL shared a tweet with the same picture, tagging Rihanna, Apple Music, and the NFL on Fox Twitter account.

Rihanna was reportedly offered to perform at the Super Bowl in 2020, however, turned down the opportunity due to the NFL’s treatment of Colin Kaepernick.
Fans of Rihanna are also eager for new music, as she’s been teasing her ninth studio album for more than six years. The Super Bowl halftime show seems like the perfect opportunity to share new songs.
This past May, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky welcomed their son. While it may seem she has her hands tied, as a new mom, an artist, and a business woman, Rihanna said in a recent interview with Vogue that she doesn’t feel restricted or hindered in any way.
“I think I even say yes to more now,” she said, “because I know it will be different on the other side of this. At first, I expected some magical change, but really I remain who I am.”
She continued, saying, “none of the dials are turned down.”

Rihanna Told Tems To Stop Being So Humble: ‘You Need To Be That B*tch You Know You Are’
There’s no denying that Rihanna is a global superstar and any words of advice from her are sure to juice up any artist on the rise. Tems, the Nigerian singer most notable for her vocals on Wizkid’s “Essence,” is a bit more than just an emerging act, though. “Essence” has propelled Tems to a path that could lead to massive Rihanna-like heights. She was featured on Beyoncé’s Renaissance alongside Grace Jones and Bey on “Move,” and was recognized as the Best International Act at the 2022 BET Awards. But none of this seems to go to her head; she’s chill AF. In fact, a new feature in GQ UK bears the headline “Tems Is Way Too Chill.” But Rihanna is here to help her with rising to the occasion.
When speaking about the grandeur of being on “Move” alongside to icons in Beyoncé and Jones, Tems comes across as humble and grateful. But then professes that while, “Of course it means something to me,” she explains that, “I just have this chill thing going on,” which keeps her grounded. But when she met Rihanna at the “We Found Love” singer’s Savage x Fenty show in Los Angeles last year, Rihanna was direct with Tems about embracing her soaring stardom, saying, “‘You need to be that b*tch you know you are.”
How does one even manage to process that coming from Rihanna? Something tells us that Tems, who has since notched a song on the Wakanda Forever soundtrack and put out the track “Wait For U” with Drake and Future earlier this year, is already taking the advice in stride.

Kanye West Is Rihanna’s Biggest Fan + 5 Times The Bad Gal Outdid Herself
Kanye West praised Rihanna in a now-deleted post, where he crowned her as the “blueprint of this generation.” While fans gushed over Ye’s love for Rih, others speculated if his statement were true of the businesswoman. Rihanna ‘Work Work Works’ With A Restaurant Staff To Help Clean Up After A Late Night Out
Last week, Rihanna and her friends went for a girls’ night out in New York City. At one of her favorites, Caviar Russe, she was spotted enjoying caviar, champagne, and sashimi bites until 2 am, according to a report by Page Six.
As the restaurant closed up shop for the night, Rihanna was seen helping the staff, cleaning up, and pushing in bar stools.
It should come as no surprise that Rihanna extended kindness to Caviar Russe’s wait staff. In 2016, TMZ reported that Rihanna once tipped $200 on an $82.25 tab at an Austin bar. Three years earlier, she reportedly tipped a waiter at Laugh Factory $200 on an $80 tab, according to TMZ.
Also during the night, Rih debuted her new curtain bangs hairstyle, while wearing baggy jeans and a large No Limit jersey.
This past weekend, choreographer Parris Goebel, who choreographed Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Fashion Show, Vol. 3 last year, won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography For Variety Or Reality Programming.
“We won a mf EMMY!!,” read a tweet from the official Savage X Fenty Twitter account. “And it’s like Muva KNEW it would happen. Congrats to [Parris Goebel] for the sickest choreo & to the insanely talented team behind the #SAVAGEXFENTYSHOW VOL. 3! Now, we celebrate.”

Jay-Z’s Billionaire Line About Him, Kanye West, Rihanna, And LeBron James On ‘God Did’ Recalls A ‘XXL’ Cover
DJ Khaled‘s new album, God Did, has hip-hop heads talking. One of the highlights of the album is its title track, on which Jay-Z raps for four straight minutes.
On a particular line, Jay recalls acquiring billionaire status, and how some of his collaborators quickly received the coveted title after.
“Nobody touched a billi until Hov did,” Jay raps. “How many billionaires can come from Hov crib? I count three / Me, Ye, and Rih / ‘Bron’s a Roc boy, so four technically.”
Jay was crowned hip-hop’s first billionaire in 2019, largely due to his extensive catalog, as well as his investments into companies like D’usse. Kanye West officially became a billionaire about a year later, largely in part to his Yeezy fashion collection. The following year, Rihanna became a billionaire, thanks to her Fenty Beauty line, as well as her Savage X Fenty lingerie and underwear collection. Lebron James acquired billionaire status this past June, thanks to his nearly two-decade spanning basketball career, as well as partnerships with brands like AT&T and Nike.
It seems that this billionaire status was manifested 17 years ago, when Jay, West, and James covered the August 2005 issue of XXL. Next to them was Foxy Brown, as Rihanna had only just stepped onto the scene with her debut single, “Pon De Replay,” that summer.
Music journalist Elliott Wilson shared an image of the cover on Instagram today.
Shortly after, he shared an image of a fan-made cover with Rihanna’s face photoshopped over Brown’s.
