The better part of the last month has found much of Hollywood showing concern for Jamie Foxx. He’s been in the hospital recovering from a health scare for the past three weeks. The multi-talent was on the set of his latest Netflix project when a medical complication caused him to reportedly have to be revived and immediately taken in for further treatment. It remains unclear exactly what ailment Foxx is suffering from, though it’s obviously serious. Thankfully, after worrying the world due to a lack of information, his Instagram feed lit up with a message earlier this week.

“Appreciate all the love!!!” the “Gold Digger” hitmaker – or his team – wrote over a black screen, “Feeling blessed 🙏🏿❤🦊.” Of course, the good news relieved some of the stress friends, fans, and family have been feeling. However, according to Page Six, Foxx’s health may not have improved much at the time the post was shared. An insider told the outlet, “Nothing had changed. He was still in the same condition,” when the update was sent out.

Elsewhere, Kevin Hart shared some of the conflicting information he’s received on the Impaulsive podcast on Wednesday (May 3). Hart further explained that things have been kept so tight because “Jamie’s always been a private person to a certain degree.”

Cardi B Seizing Tasha K’s YouTube Checks While Awaiting $4M Defamation Judgement: Report

The dramatic saga between Cardi B and Tasha K continues. The YouTuber found herself in a tremendously expensive pot of boiling water a few months ago. At the time, a judge ruled that the YouTuber was guilty of defaming the rap diva in her online videos. The former previously alleged that Cardi worked as an escort before finding fame. She also shared stories of using hard drugs and claims that she had contracted an STI. In court, the mother of three denied working in the sex trade or contracting any sort of illness. She also noted the extreme emotional distress caused by Tasha’s allegations, specifically sharing that it resulted in marital problems between her and Offset.

“Only an evil person could do that shit,” the New Yorker said on the stand. She also was candid in revealing that she sought professional help to deal with her mental health after being defamed. Ultimately, Cardi was awarded $1M in general damages, $250K for medical expenses, $1.5M in punitive damages, and finally, $1.3M for her attorney fees. It’s certainly a major win for the Invasion of Privacy hitmaker. Still, it might be some time before she gets her dues in full. The former stripper apparently sent subpoenas to both her nemesis’ bank and Google, who oversee Tasha’s ad revenue on YouTube and her website. “YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to immediately hold all money, including wages, and other property, except what is known to be exempt, belonging to the Defendant or obligations owed to the Defendant named above beginning on the day of service of this summons and including the next 1,095 days,” a notice obtained by the outlet reads.

A rep for Google reportedly spoke with the “WAP” rapper about the matter. They revealed that the embattled creator had $9,304.81 in revenue. The former is now taking action with the court so that the funds can be handed to her immediately as she awaits the other $3M+. Lil Ronald Fatally Shot In Chicago, ShortyMobb Rapper Was Just 14 Years Old: Report

ABC 7 Chicago reports that a 14-year-old boy was fatally shot on the city’s South Side a few days ago. The incident occurred on Thursday (April 20) at 1 PM local time on the 2300 block of East 80th Street. Though the outlet was unaware of the teen’s identity, TruthTellerTV on YouTube has since claimed that ShortyMobb rapper Lil Ronald lost his life due to the senseless gun violence.

When he was shot, the Drill artist was allegedly sitting in a car. He was rushed to South Shore Hospital immediately after, though he was ultimately pronounced dead by doctors. There have been no arrests in connection with the murderous incident, however, local detectives continue to investigate and seek answers. Aside from the YouTube upload claiming Ronald is the crime’s victim, a Reddit post from last week also shows a screenshot from Lil Los’ Instagram Story, seemingly paying tribute to the rising star, taken too soon.

As HipHopDX notes, we have yet to receive official confirmation that Ronald is the one who was fatally shot in Chicago. If true, the slaying marks the second murder of a ShortyMobb member in recent months. According to a post from @raphousetv, another person in the crew, Cello, was killed on the East Side of Chicago earlier this year. While reports of the teenager’s alleged death continue to circulate online, hundreds of Twitter users are sharing their thoughts on the tragedy.

“This is why it’s drastically important for parents to be 100% active in their children’s lives,” one person wrote. “And actually show them you care and love them. Or they will find it elsewhere in a different form.” Others pointed out photos making rounds of Lil Ronald flexing a weapon for the camera. “I mean these images do say a lot,” they noted. “The obsession these young people got with guns is unhealthy, backed by a country that enforces these silly gun laws.” Someone else wrote back, “He’s 14, you can’t have a handgun at that age. Frank Ocean Reportedly Had Bike Accident Pre-Coachella, Forced Set Changes

Frank Ocean’s Weekend 1 set at Coachella on Sunday (April 16) angered many fans for being late, cut short, and generally bizarre. However, new rumors and alleged reports indicate that something else might have prompted last-minute changes to the set. Moreover, TMZ allegedly spoke to sources close to the situation, who revealed the star had a bike accident that resulted in a serious ankle injury. Furthermore, this occurred just days before his scheduled performance while he rode around the Empire Polo Club grounds while he was there to rehearse. Not only that, but it was reportedly so serious that doctors advised a change to the staging.

To elaborate, one of these big changes involved scrapping the initial plan for Frank Ocean’s set to feature an ice rink. Apparently, a casting director reached out to many L.A.-based hockey teams in March for an unknown paid performance. Then, participants saw the former Odd Future member at the audition, which allegedly cast over 100 players. Also, they reportedly rehearsed on an elevated rink at Paramount Studios and then went to Coachella grounds for a dress rehearsal a week before the show. Of course, it’s unclear how all this new info affected the decision to not livestream the performance as usual, which also happened with Björk’s set right before Ocean’s.
