Nelly and Ashanti welcomed their first child, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes, nearly a month ago, a representative for the couple confirmed to PEOPLE on Wednesday. “Ashanti and Nelly welcomed their baby boy, Kareem Kenkaide Hayes, on July 18, 2024,” they told the outlet. “The proud and happy parents are so in love with KK!” In addition to the official confirmation, Ashanti revealed that she’s postpartum in a post on Instagram.

“Funny how life’s plans aren’t…always on time.. lol,” Ashanti captioned a selfie and video of herself. “I’ve been waiting to be a mom for a long time now but nothing could prepare me for EVERYTHING motherhood brings! This is what postpartum looks like I’m loving these super cozy @fridamom shorts! I’m so proud of my body for giving me my baby, baby, baby, baby, baby.”

The birth of their first child comes less than a year after they tied the knot back in December of last year. The marriage came after reconciling following a decade spent apart. Ashanti first announced her pregnancy during an interview with ESSENCE. “This new year of my life is such a blessing full of love, hope and anticipation,” she told the outlet. “Motherhood is something that I have looked forward to, and sharing this with my family, fiancé and loyal fans, who have been so supportive of my career, is an amazing experience.”

About two years ago, the Scarlet MC had the hots for Stranger Things 4 cast member, Joseph Quinn. While unbeknownst to him, The London, England actor was capturing the hearts of fans instead as Eddie Munson in his one and only season on the show. However, co-star Noah Schnapp tossed Doja Cat the alley-oop by passing the message on to Quinn. Sadly, things never came to be for them, as the rapper and singer went on to match up with J. Cyrus. A lot of her supporters have not been in love with their relationship, as the Twitch streamer has been accused of emotional abuse of his team.

Now, that relationship seems to be in the rearview mirror because Doja and Joseph have been linked once again. A couple of days ago, multiple reports from across the pond came through that they were spotted throughout London together. These bombshells were certainly sparking dating rumors, but now, things may be solidified. According to some new photo evidence from Pop Base via X, Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn can be seen holding hands while strolling down the streets of London. Blueface Explains Where He Stands With Chrisean Rock Amid Jail Stints

Blueface recently gave fans his first update from prison and broke his silence on a lot of important matters. For one, he let fans know when exactly he thinks he will finish his sentence, and it looks like it might be a lot sooner than some folks believed. “So I got sentenced to four years,” the California rapper during an exclusive phone interview with DJ Hed and Gina Views on the Effective Immediately program. “I got a year’s credit, so that goes down to three years, and I gotta do 33 percent of that … [so I’ll be home] probably like March, April [2025].”

Elsewhere, Blueface also revealed where he and Chrisean Rock stand. “I don’t know, that’s a tough one,” he remarked when asked whether they would produce a third season of their reality TV show, Crazy In Love. “Me and Rock, we vibing right now, but you know. When that fitness get involved, you know it might get a little weary.” As far as their relationship, Blue says that they “stay on a three-way,” are still speaking, and that Rock will be out of jail soon in her drug case (which still doesn’t have a verdict or sentence). However, he also explained that he hasn’t been able to keep up with their child Chrisean Jr. as a result of both of their legal situations.

In addition, Blueface detailed a typical day in jail for him. “I be jacking off, watching TV, eating Doritos and using the phone,” he said in lewd fashion. “That’s pretty much it […] They only got like 12 channels. I’ve been watching a lot of the news, the Sherri show and The Jennifer Hudson Show. I’m chilling, man. I’m in my environment. It’s like a little break from responsibility. I’m like 180 [pounds] right now; I’ve never been 180 before. I’m getting sized up, I’m about to bounce out looking like a dalmatian.”

Meanwhile, Blueface’s father updated fans on Chrisean Jr.’s status amid his father and Chrisean Rock’s troubles. “Free Blue Free Chrisean,” he expressed on social media. “Got a chance to speak with jr. the other day he miss his mom, dad, & grandpa. Y’all are going to very surprise with his progression that he has made when he pops back on the scene.”

Jay-Z & Beyonce Go For A Night Out In New York City After 40/40 Club Recreation

Jay-Z and Beyonce chose to hit up the New York City nightlife scene after Fanatics Fest on Friday (August 16). Moreover, this is a pretty fitting outing for them, considering that the former announced the relaunch of his iconic 40/40 Club sometime in 2025, if all goes according to plan. Hov also recreated the sports bar at Fanatics Fest over the weekend. As such, it’s no wonder the power couple wants to see what else is up in the Big Apple for a night out. Apparently, Travis Scott was also at ZZ’s Club along with Bey and Jay, and left the Hudson Yards members club a little before they did.

As far as their style, Jay-Z and Beyoncé donned a black 40/40 Club sweatshirt and a rose fringe overcoat respectively. You can see pictures of their outing by clicking the “Via” link below. Elsewhere, though, other recent conversations around their relationship are a bit more salacious. For example, Kanye West expressed in a recently resurfaced Candace Owens interview from some years ago that the Houston superstar should let the East Coast lyricist cheat.

Beyond that ridiculousness, though, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are ignoring it all and just focusing on their billions and on having some good times. They recently shared some lavish and seemingly solo vacation pics from earlier in the year, as if their public outings’ luxury wasn’t enough for fans. Jokes aside, it’s always heartening to see some famous celebrity couples enjoy some time to themselves, as exclusive or expensive as that time may be. After all, we can get too caught up in their exploits and escapades in the public eye and not in what they share with the rest of us.

Meanwhile, both Jay-Z and Beyoncé have a long musical legacy to contend with, one that’s now further cemented in legend status. Now, we’re seeing how old Hov albums like Reasonable Doubt maintained their steep value, as Dame Dash’s shares in it will fall back in his former Roc-A-Fella co-boss’ hands in a few years. That became a very contentious situation overall, one that Dame has no plans of making any easier for Jay. We’ll see what happens, and what this star couple learned from studying NYC’s nightlife.

The R&B singer recently appeared on the Counsel Culture program with Nick Cannon and others to talk about his romantic feelings and how he perceives the bond he creates with other prospective partners. Overall, he said that he doesn’t try to define himself by gender or sexuality norms, and instead sees love as a language that he is “fluent” in with various different genders and sexual orientations.

“To be honest with you, bro, it’s not even me that’s opening my heart,” August Alsina said of his “love for another man.” “It’s that power that’s higher than myself. In fact, LeBron James’ wife didn’t think there was a difference between being a side chick and being a sneaky link until someone else clarified it. Most interestingly, though, she went on a small rant about how she despises the term “wifey,” presumably from how she described it as a minimizing and diminutive way to refer to a marriage.

“Nothing,” Savannah James responded to a question about what the difference between a side chick and a sneaky link is. “[Nothing] to me. Young people, help us, we old,” she added. Then, an off-camera participant explained that a side chick is someone that a man’s main partner knows about, whereas the partner does not know about the sneaky link. “Oh!” Bronny’s mom exclaimed. “Just be single,” she continued as her co-host agreed.

Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson have reportedly settled their divorce, and new details about the numbers involved and other considerations recently emerged thanks to court documents reportedly obtained by In Touch Weekly. Moreover, these docs state that they split due to “irreconcilable differences that have arisen between the parties which have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage, making it impossible for the parties to live together as husband and wife.” But it seems like this settlement satisfied both individuals.

Furthermore, one of the terms is that Tina Knowles must pay her estranged ex-husband a one-time payment of $300K. Neither she nor Richard Lawson will receive spousal support from the other. As a result of their settlement and agreed-upon terms, Tina also got a 2018 Tesla, a 2020 Bentley, the Matriarch Book partnership with Penguin Random House, a one-percent interest in Kirby Beauty Management LLC, furniture and art in her possession, and all creative works, ideas, drafts, and materials that she generated during their marriage. These awards don’t change the fact that Knowles must pay all credit card debits she garnered during their relationship.

On the other hand, Richard Lawson’s awards were a 2021 Cadillac Escalade, various bank and retirement accounts, all money owed to Richard Lawson Studios, earned royalties, and all his creative works that manifested during the marriage. As far as the Cadillac, he had to pay everything for it. The court docs also reveal an NDA that both must sign, which bars both of them from speaking negatively about the other party, their children, or their grandchildren.

“With respect to the mutual desire to protect the privacy rights of any and all present or future grandchildren of either party, the parties agree that they will not, when asked by any media or person, discuss said grandchildren or future grandchildren whether verbally or in writing,” Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson’s agreement reportedly reads. In other news, Tina’s endorsement of Kamala Harris put some more Beyoncé songs on the campaign playlist. “[Kanye’s] been trying to have it done the natural way, but the word is he’s been a little unsuccessful. So apparently now he’s planning the insemination or IVF route,” the alleged source told the outlet. This is an odd development amid Kanye West’s many other headlines these days, including more drama surrounding his former colleague Milo Yiannopoulos and his bizarre claims about Ye. But this alleged source made things even weirder to look at, as they claimed that the Chicago artist obsessively seeks the creation of biological perfection.
