Rapper Kevin Gates recently took to Instagram to share his thoughts surrounding splitting finances in relationships. In the Instagram Live hosted by Gates, a viewer asked to hear his thoughts on her “going 50/50 with [her] man.” Gates responded by sharing his personal experience, saying that he has been with a woman who was able to provide him with something money can’t buy.
The rapper begins, “I have been in a relationship where the woman provided me intangible wealth.” He elaborated, saying there “was no amount of money that could pay for” what she gave him. “[The woman] did everything to make [his life] peaceful and it motivated [him] and allowed [him] to focus and make more money,” Gates explained. About the relationship, he says “50/50 wasn’t half of the rent, but she provided a place of peace to me in order to reach my highest potential.” He cites, “different types of wealth,” saying he doesn’t “look at wealth as something that’s of the pocket.” The rapper claims he looks at it instead as “of the heart and of the mind.”
Following Gates’ story, a viewer commented, “Especially if she’s the mother of your kid.” He responded, “I’m gonna be honest with you, all my children’s mothers is good.” The rapper additionally discussed “hearing dudes talk about baby mama drama.” He says that it’s not something he personally deals with. “I dont have that problem,” the rapper shares. “I don’t have no bad relationships with none of my children’s mothers,” he revealed. Gates went on to say that, “They all love me and support me,” calling himself “very very blessed and fortunate.”
In April, Gates also shared in an interview that he prefers hunting for his own meat over buying it at the grocery store. He added that his love for hunting is also good for his mental health. “It takes pure focus. It’s almost like meditation,” the rapper shared. He added, “You got to be in sync with it.” Gates then went on to explain his appreciation and respect for the animals he hunts. “I know I’m not going to get instant results,” he shares. “I know I got to put work in… to cultivate it and develop it.”
Modern dating is messier than it ever has been in decades past, with more and more people leaning towards options like non-monogamy and polyamory. After his failed relationship with Erica Banks, that seems to be the move for Finesse2tymes, who revealed in a recent interview that he’s in a relationship with three different women. “I gotta have more than one woman,” he told Angela Yee on Lip Service a few weeks back. “I know that one of ’em, or two of ’em, they get along, I kinda just threw it at them. “Tuesday” is one of hip-hop’s most beloved “one-hit wonder” tracks of the 2010s, brought to us by ILOVEMAKONNEN and Drake. Despite the song’s massive success, though, the Los Angeles native recently remarked to NPR Music during an interview how their relationship took a nasty turn. Of course, this isn’t the first time that he’s spoken on this issue, and he actually took some different turns back then compared to his current stance. Still, it’s quite unfortunate if true, considering he left OVO less than two years after signing a record deal. Apparently nothing was the same after the 2015 Wireless Festival.
“That’s when I knew something was weird,” ILOVEMAKONNEN told the outlet. “Just ’cause when I came out on set- and I started losing weight too, right- Drake had made a little joke like, ‘He a little Eric Benét-a** looking n***a.’ You know, like, ha-ha. And then I just started to feel this vibe. As I was supposed to go into my verse [on stage], they just cut it.” Also, he shared that their issues didn’t stem from Makonnen’s sexuality, which many thought had rubbed the Canadian superstar the wrong way.

In fact, the “SCUSE ME” artist claimed that past tweets of his dissing Drake was what threw a wrench into their camaraderie. “‘Y’all need to drop him because he said your song ‘Practice’ was lame back in 2011,’” ILOVEMAKONNEN remembered one fan writing on social media. “[It’s] our little outlet,” he shared while explaining that he meant no ill will. “That’s our only way of attention. It ain’t nothing personal.” Later on during his NPR Music interview, he theorized that things really solidified themselves into a falling out when he referenced the rumored beef during a Tim Westwood freestyle.
To make matters worse, the 34-year-old spit those bars over Drake instrumentals, putting things further into context. However, back in 2019, he stated that things were “all good” between him and OVO, so maybe this is just him reflecting on water under the bridge. Bhad Bhabie has taken to Twitter to rant about something once again. This time, it’s about her relationship with her former beau Chief Keef. Back in February, Bhabie took to Twitter to express her love for Chief Keef. Some of her tweets about him remain on her page. She asked fans to tell Keef that she is sorry and loves him, adding a teary-eyed emoji. She also said that he hates her, but it’s okay because she will be back, and added a kissing emoji. However, some outlets reported that she had also tweeted that Chief Keef is the only person she will ever love.
Just last week, Bhad Bhabie spoke further about the relationship. In an interview with Emily Ratajkowski, she confessed that she has five or six tattoos dedicated to Keef. “I have one guy that managed to make it six times, five or six,” she said. The guy she is referring to is, of course, Chief Keef. “So, I have Chief Keef’s birthday, his last name, his name, his nickname, and I have ‘CK’ on my ankle, then I have his last name right here,” Bhabie revealed. “Actually, I just covered his birthday, and then I have ‘So’ on my ear, and then I have ‘Keef’ on my wrist.”

In response to many pointing out that they thought that Keef “groomed” her and was a pedophile, she took to Twitter to dispel the rumors. “Calling someone a pedophile isn’t something you just say to troll or talk sh*t. It’s disrespectful [as f*ck],” she said in his defense. “I can’t stand the [motherf*cker] but I’m not the type of person to let someone’s name [be] ruined with lies. Dead that sh*t.”

Finesse2Tymes has recently attended the Lip Service podcast. The podcast is well known for discussing sex and relationships with its guests. In a recent episode, Finesse2Tymes came out to say that he is currently in a relationship with three different women. After rapper Saweetie went on Instagram Live to let women know if their man isn’t buying a Birkin bag, then get rid of him. Lil Durk responded by saying he buys India property because she doesn’t want a Birkin bag. He posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the caption, “I just got her property she ain’t want a birkin.”
February 2021:
Durk is confused why people want him and India to break up . He tweeted, “Yall want us to break up so bad lol”.
Lil Durk keeps his romance going with his lady as he celebrates her birthday. He showed off the custom jewelry he purchased for her on Instagram. India received a custom emerald necklace with an iced out heart pendant of their two children. On the back of the chain, there was a photo of India and Durk kissing.
Fans tried to come at the Bloodas rapper on Twitter after he tweeted, “Who need kids when you got 7 kids”. This prompted fans to bring up the rapper’s other kids and previous women he has kids with. India wasted no time in defending her man as she responded to a fan who say she has “baby mama syndrome”. She tweeted, “Y’all are so obsessed with us” and later added, “It be the men hating. They be wanting to f*** the rappers. No cap, when I go to concerts n***** be about to beat the b****** a** tryna get next to the rappers.”
India continued to chat with fans as one user even tried to say Durk had a baby on her with another woman and doesn’t even take care of that child, either. India called cap on that too.
May 2021:
Fans thought India might have cheated on Durk after he posted a few tweets. He wrote on Twitter: “The streets got her chino it’s over dog”, “Never Cared” and “Chase who yea ok”. Many assumed he was talking about India, and some even thought they broke up. But, Durk hopped on Twitter to end the speculation letting people know his girl is not like any other woman.

Lil Durk and India were subject to a home invasion, where gunfire was exchanged on both sides. Early Sunday morning, intruders broke into the Chicago rapper’s Atlanta home, to which no one was harmed, injured, or arrested. It is unknown as to how many intruders were there.
September 2021:
Fans applauded Durk for mentioning his girl’s business on Drake’s hit single, “Laugh Now, Cry Later”. In the middle of his verse, he raps, “India Royale cosmetic, I’m just promoting my b****/Drake song do a billion streams for sure, I’m just promoting her shit”.
There’s no question Durk brought more attention to India’s cosmetic line after that bar.
October 2021:
Lil Durk went on IG Live with Nicki Minaj for a Q&A. The “Moment for Life” rapper asked Durk which one of India’s products should she buy and also talked about what he likes the most about her. He told Nicki, India has respect for herself.
”Outside of looks, she respects herself. She respects herself as a woman.”
The couple faced more breakup rumors weeks after this as Durk had cleared his Instagram account. They both then went on Instagram Live to clear things up and Durk posted photos after with the caption, “Y’all Know This Shit 4eva.”

While Durk was the headliner for the WGCI Big Jam in Chicago, he brought India on stage. With thousands watching, the Chicago rapper popped the question to his girlfriend. What better way to do it than in his hometown! Of course, she said yes and the United Center erupted in applause.

India was spoiled by her man a few days before Valentine’s Day. Durk filled a place with rose petals, candles, and balloons. They both took to social media to share their special night.

The Voice of the Streets sat down with Gillie and Wallo of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game Podcast where he revealed why he proposed to India. He told the hosts that it was her low amount of sexual partners that led him to get on one knee.
”But, it’s like, everything about [India]. Being real, not cheating, she ain’t been passed around. It was, like, her body count. That’s what really did it.”
The clip went viral all over social media, to which fans had mixed feelings about, mainly women. There were women who felt India should have been offended about what her fiance said, but she didn’t seem to mind at all. She went to Twitter to let people know that she does not care what people think about Durk.

Lil Durk shut down Neiman Marcus for India’s 27th birthday. She shared the outing on Instagram and showed off the lavish gifts she received from her fiance. India even shared the price tag as Durk spent over $100,000 on her special day.
It looks like Durk is really in love with India as he appears to have a tattoo of her on his right calf. Durk continues to display his love for his wife to be. Fans questioned the ink though, feeling the tattoo artist could have done a better job.

Unfortunately, India declares that her and Durk have broken up. She tweeted, “I’m a free agent”, indicating she is single. They stopped following each other on social media as well. It is unclear on why they have broken up, as many speculate there was cheating going on.

It seems like Durk wants India back as he posted a tweet on Valentine’s Day directed towards her. ”Happy Valentine’s Day to the woman that made me a man. I love you @indiaroyale.” India was not taking the bait and told him to “let it go”.

Lil Durk continued speaking on his ex, India Royale, on social media, Monday night, after the mother of their four-year-old daughter, Willow Banks, announced that she is single. The two got engaged in 2021 but called off the wedding after a speculated cheating scandal in September 2022.
“Can’t save them all,” he said in the newest video, in which he addresses his followers in a dark room. Many fans brought up NBA Youngboy in response. One wrote, “Seems like India given yb more attention than durk.” Another asked, “did he just agree with his opp??” Royale and Youngboy traded shots online in response to Durk’s recent comments. Durk had recently reflected on his relationship with Royale in a lengthy statement posted on her birthday, over the weekend. In it, he explained how their relationship fell apart. “I fucked up,” he admitted. “She played a small part. She is really a good girl who live[s] life. I am a good guy, good husband. I just never listened to her pain back when she was pregnant with Willow in the belly.” He continued: “So, I ain’t perfect. But I am perfect for you. I love you, and I am all ears whenever we get back into a relationship. You saved my life with you, Willow, and big Sky; out of all my kids you was there… Don’t attack her. She is the best in the world. I didn’t do her wrong. I just kept her from the world.”
