LeBron James & Savannah’s Parenting Applauded After Son Bryce’s Fan Interaction

As innocuous as it may seem, just a simple video of a fan interaction goes a long way when determining a celebrity’s politeness and demeanor. What’s more is that it’s just as strong of an indicator of how that person’s parents raised them. Moreover, many people online are giving LeBron James and his wife Savannah their flowers after a clip emerged of a fan approaching their son Bryce at a Target for a picture. The man says he’s a huge fan and then poses for some time to take some pictures with him. While the fan is “throwing up Blood,” Bryce said that he’s doing none of that as he laughs and poses for the picture.

Of course, with an online consensus like that, people are bound to point out inconsistencies in it. For example, while the fan is posing after already taking several pictures, Bryce pulled out his phone and started fiddling on it. Maybe LeBron James didn’t emphasize the importance of giving people full undivided attention enough, but when someone’s brandishing gang signs next to you on your shopping trip, maybe it’s not so important. Regardless, it was still a comical and wholesome moment in which Bryce comes off as respectful, appreciative, and humble.

Furthermore, these are qualities that will be important as Bryce develops a potential future in professional basketball. Even though he will not be eligible for the NBA draft until 2026, many scouts still looked out for him at the Nike Peach Jam. Sure, a lot of the attention might be on his big brother Bronny right now since he’s closer to that age limit. Still, it’s great to know that LeBron James’ family will likely hold a lot more hooping talent, and that they’re not letting that fame get to their head.

Meanwhile, the NBA superstar faced some important questions at the end of this year’s season. Many speculated retirement, but he maintained that he’s not going anywhere. His last big move when it comes to his NBA career was one of respect: changing his number back to 23 in honor of the late legend Bill Russell. Clearly that respect runs in the family. With that in mind, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on LeBron James and the James family.

Meek Mill Praises Jay-Z As He Spits His All-Time Hova Bars

Meek Mill has been very vocal in the past about his love for Jay-Z. The Philly native went to Hova’s Shawn Carter Foundation gala event last week. On the carpet, HipHopDX asked him about his favorite Jay-Z bars, to which Meek Mill responded: “Every Hov bar is my favorite Hov bar.” He then goes on to spit out some of Jay-Z’s lyrics:

“Why you home alone?
Why she out with me?
Room 112, hotel balcony
How’d she say, Jay, you can call the house for me?
There’s no respect at all, you better check her, dawg.

Meek Mill proceeded down the carpet after throwing out the verse, leaving the interviewer ecstatic about the live mini-performance. The lyrics come from the song “Is That Yo B*tch” from Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter, which was released back in 1999. This early track shows how long Meek has been a fan of Jay, going into the deep reservoir to pull out this classic track. If prompted, the rapper could probably throw out ten or more lyrics from different songs across Jay-Z’s extensive catalog of music.

Jay-Z’s Influence On Meek Mill

Meek has never been shy about showcasing his love for Jay-Z. He attributes Hova with a lot of his early inspiration. As for the foundation gala, it was a massive success. Reports show it raised over $20 million to help struggling college students looking to continue their education. $10 million of that total donation came from Amazon chairman Jeff Bezos. The money will allow the Shawn Carter Foundation to build international exchange programs, emergency assistance programs, and scholarships.

Meek Mill also said recently he was inspired by both Jay-Z and Lil Wayne to stop writing down his lyrics. Once he found out the two rap heavy hitters freestyled their verses off the dome, he decided he wanted to do the same thing. There are no updates as to whether Meek donated to the foundation or, if he did, how much he contributed. But seeing as he’s such a huge fan of the New York hip-hop mogul, it would make sense that he helped out his fund.

Cardi B recently went to France for Paris Fashion Week, where she was photographed countless times. A new clip shows Cardi walking to her car surrounded by paparazzi, taking the opportunity to compare French paparazzi to American paparazzi. She ranted about American photographers seeking unflattering images of celebs in order to pick them apart, claiming that the French don’t do that.

You guys are the best,” she’s heard telling the photographers. “I really love the paparazzi out here because let me tell you about the f*ckin’ American paparazzi… When you guys put [up] pictures of celebrities, you guys make sure that they look nice. You guys make sure that they take good pictures. I don’t know why American paparazzi, they will really post a picture of you looking like this [Makes a face]. That’s f***ed up. Y’all want pictures of celebrities looking bad so people can make fun of them, shred them, put their confidence down… that’s mean. Y’all gonna get paid the same. The French paparazzi don’t do that.”

She continued, “I can’t [be] f***in no regular degular shmegular because they gon tell the world. Will Smith Shows Love To Joyner Lucas For His Latest Single “Broski”

Joyner Lucas is Will Smith’s favorite rapper, as he declared in a Facebook post praising his latest single, “Broski.” Of course, Smith is no stranger to the rap realm, but to see him engage with the game so many years into his career is still a treat to see. Moreover, the Massachusetts MC is on a streak of singles ahead of his next project, with his most recent before “Broski” being “Cut U Off” with NBA YoungBoy. His next album, titled Not Now, I’m Busy, is expected to drop at some point this year, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down with his prolific release schedule. Furthermore, this will be his first album since 2020’s ADHD, and the long wait has fans eating good with his new releases.

In addition, the 34-year-old also made strides with other industry figures to expand his repertoire and collaboration history. For example, Juelz Santana recently teased a song with Joyner Lucas, a meeting of two generations that could result in some lyrical gems. Not only that, but the song will appear on Santana’s Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama. As such, there’s a lot of history on display for what looks to be Lucas’ comeback year.

The Will Smith-Certified “Broski”

Meanwhile, Will Smith is hard at work on his next film, Bad Boys 4 alongside Martin Lawrence. In addition, he and Michael B. Jordan announced a sequel to Smith’s 2007 film I Am Legend. Its producer and screenwriter, Akiva Goldsman, spoke to Deadline about the film’s plot. “This will start a few decades later than the first,” she revealed. “That will be especially visual in New York. I don’t know if they’ll climb up to the Empire State Building, but the possibilities are endless.

“We trace back to the original Matheson book [that the first movie was based on] and the alternate ending as opposed to the released ending in the original film,” Goldsman continued. “What Matheson was talking about was that man’s time on the planet as the dominant species had come to an end. That’s a really interesting thing we’re going to get to explore. There will be a little more fidelity to the original text.” For more on Will Smith and Joyner Lucas, stay posted on HNHH.

Nicki Minaj Praises Foxy Brown On “Queen Radio”

Recently, Nicki Minaj shared her appreciation for rapper Foxy Brown on her Apple Music show, Queen Radio. “Listen to me real f***ing quick,” she begins, “it’s not a b*tch walking planet f***ing earth that is f***ing with Foxy Brown.” She pauses before going on to rap lyrics from Brown’s 2001 Broken Silence track “730.” Nicki then scoffs in disbelief at the mere thought.

This wasn’t the first time Nicki sung the praises of Foxy Brown. In November of last year, she discussed the influence the rapper has had on her with City Girls’ JT for i-D. When she was asked which artists had the most influence on her, she immediately responded “Foxy Brown.” She continued, “I still probably at times sound similar to her. I would listen to this woman non-stop.” She went on to cite their shared Trinidadian descent. “Finding out she was from Trinidad was so freaking amazing to me,” Nicki explained, “because I never imagined that a rapper could be from my country.” She continued to compliment the rapper, saying “She’s so precise with her delivery, and so clear. And I really love clarity in raps.”

Foxy Brown’s Influence On Nicki Minaj

Back in 2017, Nicki praised Foxy Brown again in an Instagram post for her influence’s birthday. “I may have never even started rapping if it wasn’t for her,” she captioned a photo of the rapper, “KING FOX.” Nicki continued to praise her, saying, “Her flow & delivery is still unmatched. You can’t listen to me w/o hearing her influence. She’s still the only thing I compete w/when it comes to precision of flow, delivery & execution.”

Though Nicki claimed she only competes with Foxy Brown, it appears as though some Cardi B fans disagree. Last week, it was revealed that one of Cardi’s superfans allegedly started a recent petition to get Nicki kicked out of Hidden Hills. The petition targeted Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, and his sex offender status. Additional posts by the Twitter user reference plans to “end” Nicki Minaj “from the inside out.”

Pharrell Defends Kanye West’s Title As The “Louis Vuitton Don”

Earlier this year, Pharrell Williams was named Men’s Creative Director of Louis Vuitton. Yesterday, he debuted the Men’s Spring-Summer 2024 Collection in Paris, and countless celebrity guests attended to show their support. Pharrell appears in a clip alongside one guest, Swizz Beatz, where he reveals that there’s one title he’ll never be taking over.

When Swizz calls Pharrell the new “Louis Vuitton Don,” he’s immediately stopped in his tracks. “Nah nah nah,” Pharrell corrects him, “I’m the Pupil King, I’m a student.” He continues, “‘Louis Vuitton Don’ is the one great Kanye West, period.” When Swizz Beatz asks him how he’s feeling amid the debut, he says he’s “electrified with gratitude.” He goes on, “My appointment in this position is a tribute to our brother Virgil. I’m grateful, man. God is the greatest.” Pharrell replaces the late Virgil Abloh, who previously held the title. He served as Men’s Creative Director at Louis Vuitton beginning in 2018, up until he tragically passed away of heart cancer in 2021.

50 Cent Praises Ice Cube For “Creating A Path” With BIG3

50 Cent has recently taken to social media to congratulate Ice Cube. Ice Cube’s BIG3 basketball league was just officially recognized as the first Black-owned sports league in the U.S. 50 Cent shared the news on Instagram, along with a message for Ice Cube. “Ice Cube has done some great sh*t over the years creating a path artist from our culture can follow,” he wrote.

Ice Cube has previously shared that the goal behind his BIG3 league is to improve American cities. “The country is very uneasy right now,” he told Wall Street‘s Maria Bartiromo, “Everybody got to do their part. The BIG3, we’re going from city to city this year. We’re not in our bubble like we have been in the last couple of years. We’re going to be all over the country this summer, hopefully making cities a little better than we found them when we leave. That’s our plan. I think it should be everybody’s plan. Everybody’s got to look in the mirror and say, ‘What can I do to make things better?’ That’s the only way it’s going to change.”

50 Cent Congratulates Ice Cube

50 Cent has taken on a sports initiative of his own recently, partnering with the Sacramento Kings to launch the Kings and Queens Rise Co-Ed Youth Sports and Mentoring League. He shares similar goals of improving communities and offering young people a “path.” He told The Sacramento Bee earlier this week, “I think idle time is the devil’s time. Especially in inner cities where you got so many different distractions, so many different influences, positive and negative.”

50 Cent continued, “They get a chance to be part of that team effort. I think it teaches them lessons that are priceless in the early stages.” He also called it “a great program,” adding, “I had fun hanging out with the kids, if we keep them active, they won’t go get in trouble.”
