Nicki Minaj Shows Love To Chris Brown, Fans Want To See Him On “Pink Friday 2” Tour

Nicki Minaj had nothing but love when responding to a video of Chris Brown playing “FTCU” for one of his dancers at a recent concert. “This is so very appreciated. Wow. 🫶🏽,” Minaj wrote on X, formerly Twitter. As a result, many fans began to implore Minaj to bring out Brown during stops on her upcoming Pink Friday 2 tour. Nicki’s 53-stop tour of North America and Europe begins on March 1 in Oakland. At the time of writing, the only confirmed guest act is Monica, who will open all non-festival shows on the North American leg.

Minaj and Brown have seven collaborations together. Their partnership dates back over a decade to “Right By My Side” in 2012. Their most recent collab was Brown’s “Wobble Up”, also featuring G-Eazy, in 2019. Furthermore, their best charting was the Young Money track “Only”, which went triple platinum and peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. However, their best-performing collab with no other featuring artists was Brown’s 2013 “Love You More”, which peaked at No. 23.

Chris Brown Claims He Was Uninvited From NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

The love from Minaj caps off a mixed week for Brown. The singer claimed he was uninvited from the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. “I was asked by the NBA to play in the All-Star Game this year! Only for them to call later and say I couldn’t do it because of their sponsors like Ruffles. At this point, I’m sick of bothering me and I’m tired of living in the f-cking past,” Brown wrote on Instagram. Furthermore, Brown claimed that after uninviting him, the NBA still asked him to sit courtside at the game. Brown posted an initial invitation from the league to appear at the game. However, he did not provide evidence of the league uninviting him.

It was the second major event in a week that Brown had seemingly been excluded from. Usher confirmed in a recent interview that he did not consider Chris Brown for a cameo at his Super Bowl halftime show. “No, I did not reach out to Chris Brown. I’m not gon’ tell you everybody I reached out to. I reached out to some hitters. I was curating what would be one of the greatest Super Bowls of all time and it actually turned into that because of who I reached out to,” Usher said.

Nicki Minaj Previews “Pink Friday 2” Tour Choreography

It goes without saying that the Barbz are pumped for Nicki Minaj’s upcoming world tour. The tour, which is in support of her new album Pink Friday 2, kicks off next month in Oakland. Nicki will be accompanied by Monica, making over 50 stops around the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

While fans still have a few more weeks until they can catch Nicki live, she’s been sure to give them plenty of updates on social media. Earlier this week, for example, she shared a fun clip of some of her backup dancers rehearsing the choreography for “FTCU.” For obvious reasons, the footage left supporters eager to see more. Luckily, Nicki has recently come through with yet another behind-the-scenes peek at what’s to come.

Nicki Minaj Rehearses For Tour

In another short clip, she joins the dancers, showing off some moves of her own. Fans in the comments section are looking forward to seeing what other glimpses Nicki will give them before next month. The tour isn’t the only exciting thing Nicki has in the works, however. Earlier this week, she took to social media to preview a new song she has on the way with none other than Burna Boy.

Nicki Minaj Expands Her Pink Friday World Tour With New Dates

Fans hoping they’ll have the chance to see Nicki Minaj perform this year just got some good news. She originally announced the tour last year with 37 confirmed dates from the first day of March until early June. The original announcement features dozens of US dates across many major cities and a number of supplementary European stops afterward. But now even more fans will get the chance to see Nicki as she’s shared more than a dozen new tour dates.

Among the 13 new dates are a number of second stops in cities already getting performances. Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Toronto, Amsterdam, Manchester, Cologne, and Paris are all getting a second helping of the Pink Friday 2 tour. Brooklyn in particular is even getting a third show among the newly announced dates. She also announced that Nashville and Glasgow will be getting stops on the tour. She’s even visiting two entirely new countries with newly added dates in Copenhagen and Stockholm. The tour is just a few days into its presale and has already sold out dozens of arena shows. Nicki Minaj Expands Her 2024 Tour

Another major accomplishment for Nicki came on streaming. Pink Friday 2 became the fastest album by a female rapper to reach 1 billion total streams on Spotify. The album was powered by smash singles like “Super Freaky Girl” and “Red Ruby Da Sleeze.” It’s also spawned some hits among the deep cuts with tracks like “FTCU” and “Everybody.” What do you think of Nicki Minaj adding more than a dozen new shows to her upcoming tour? Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday 2” Reaches One Million Units Sold In The U.S.

Nicki Minaj’s status in hip-hop is pretty much cemented now at this point in her career. Or is it? The legendary Trinidadian rapper and singer with roots in New York continues to transcend even the greatest of her accomplishments. If you have been living under a musical rock for the past month, she dropped her long-awaited album, Pink Friday 2. While some feel the tape is a bit bloated, her Barbz are still enjoying it nonetheless.

Recently, the 41-year-old femcee has been dishing out new versions of the album. The first of them was called the Gag City Deluxe. That tacked on a remix of “Beep Beep,” which included 50 Cent. Additionally, she worked with Keyshia Cole and Monica for “Love Me Enough.” Then, over this past weekend, Nicki and Future got together for a second collaboration on “Press Play.”

Whether or not Nicki did this to up the streams and sales will never be known. But, we would be remiss to say that it did not help PF2 earn its first major milestone. According to chart data, the sequel over a decade in the making has just hit one million units sold in the United States. Nicki took the time to thank her Barbz for this incredible achievement. “Thank you to every single one of you listening [and] supporting this album, the best label Republic Records, the GREATEST artists in the WORLD of our generation featured when I needed them the most,” according to a quote gathered from Revolt.

What are your thoughts on Nicki Minaj’s latest sales milestone for her new album Pink Friday 2? Is this a better record than the original Pink Friday? Do you feel she did a great marketing job to reach this goal? Or, do you think her record would have taken longer to get one million units sold without the other versions? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Nicki Minaj. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on around the music world.

Nicki Minaj’s Collaborator RedOne Doesn’t Mind Her Not Performing “Starships”

During a New Year’s celebration at the start of the month, Nicki Minaj dazzled fans with some tracks from her new album Pink Friday 2. But when her DJ tried to queue up one of her classic hits, she skipped on the track. After teasing fans with the instrumental introduction to “Starships” Nicki made him skip the song. Despite boos from the crowd, she insists that she doesn’t play that song anymore because she doesn’t like it.

That got plenty of fans discussing both the song and Nicki’s take on it. One person with a pretty interesting opinion on her choice to retire the song is the producer who originally helped her craft it in the first place. TMZ caught up with RedOne to ask him some questions about the song being retired. “I have the utmost respect for Nicki Minaj and I love her work very much. I will always respect an artist’s wishes, I feel very proud to have made that record with her along with the global success it made,” the producer said of her choice to stop performing the song.

“Starships” Producer Speaks On Nicki Minaj Skipping The Song During Live Shows

During a recent interview on Apple Music, Nicki spoke at length about her new album Pink Friday 2. She discussed playing “FTCU” for J. Cole before the album dropped and his love of the track. She also teased that the song could be getting a new remix soon which led many to speculate Cole could be involved. That led to a discussion about something else Cole told her about doing what’s right for the songs she’s writing above all else.

Nicki Minaj set fan expectations pretty low on any Pink Friday 2 deep cuts getting a music video. Some fan favorite cuts like “Everybody” have taken off since the album dropped but a supplementary music video isn’t likely to follow. What do you think of the producer who made “Starships” sharing his take on Nicki Minaj cutting it from her live sets? Let us know in the comment section below.

Nicki Minaj Seemingly Responds To Wack 100 “Record-Breaker” Comments

Nicki Minaj has seemingly responded to Wack 100 claiming she’s not a record-breaking artist. “Barbz did we break any records?” Nicki posted on X on January 6. Wack had been defending Cardi B, saying she was a bigger artist than Nicki and had been for “the past 2-3 years”. It was a not a take that a lot of people agreed with. “Nicki is on her 5th album cardi doesn’t even have a second 1. Her team set her up everytime. This is why she scared to drop now she doesn’t compete where she doesn’t compare,” one person argued.

Pink Friday 2 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Nicki the most No. 1 albums amongst female rappers. 14 tracks from the album also debuted on the singles chart. However, the album only spent one week at No. 1 before being dethroned by 1989 (Taylor’s Version). Furthermore, the album set a 2023 record for an album debut by a female rapper on Spotify. While Wack is entitled to his dislike of Nicki, it’s objectively untrue to say that she doesn’t have records to her name.

However, away from his various beefs, Wack has been working on some new creative projects. Wack 100 revealed to VladTV that he is producing a new reality TV show called The Gworls Club. Notably, the show will notably feature 12 transgender contestants. The show will air on the Tronix Network, a “Zeus-style network” that is a joint venture between Wack and Ray J. Wack called the show “crazy” and said that the production of the show involved “17 shots” being “emptied in the parking lot”. Furthermore, he said the shooting incident involved the “transgenders” being “jumped by the gays”.

He also spoke at length about “Incredible Diapers”, an adult diaper venture he is running. Additionally, his hope is to get the product on Amazon and on the shelves of Walmart. Furthermore, Wack called the company “the only Black diaper company in the universe”. Additionally, he said that he was working with the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo to construct a $200 million manufacturing plant in the African nation.

Nicki Minaj Addresses Lack Of “Pink Friday 2” Videos, And Her Answer Will Surprise You

Nicki Minaj is riding high off of the success of Pink Friday 2, and recently sat down with Ebro Darden on Apple Music to talk about her life and career. While the rest of the interview was quite enlightening and satisfying, the Barbz might not be happy with her answer to one of their burning questions: where on Earth are the PF2 visuals? Moreover, the Young Money alum explained how a conversation with J. Cole in the studio about her song “FTCU” inspired a new perspective on this. “[I] didn’t like the chorus because, you know, you wouldn’t be able to play it on radio,” she recalled how her talk with the Dreamville boss went.

“[J. Cole] was like, ‘Who cares?’” Nicki Minaj remarked to Ebro. Funnily enough, she recently teased a potential remix of this song with an as-of-yet unknown male MC. “He was like, ‘Man, f**k the radio!’ And I was like, ‘You’re right! F**k the radio!’ And it dawned on me. Why the f**k– this is not something I’m putting out to be as a single. This is something that’s a part of a body of work. And I didn’t even wanna put out singles. I purposefully don’t have videos out because I want y’all to listen to the music.”

As such, it seems like there’s not a lot of hope currently for us to get an “Everybody,” “Beep Beep,” or “Big Difference” music video. Still, it’s hard to ever imagine a world in which the Trinidadian superstar is anything less than a commercial powerhouse with anything she does. Pink Friday 2 broke Spotify records and, although divisive, still contains some beloved songs for the Barbz. Maybe her upcoming tour’s set-up is all we’ll get connected to the project’s visual aesthetics… and that’s okay!

After all, we still have plenty to look forward to when it comes to the 41-year-old’s still-evolving Pink Friday 2 rollout. She participated in a fan-favorite interview with Funny Marco, and has been hot on the press of the press with one media appearance after another. Was Nicki Minaj’s ‘Needle’ Supposed To Be On Drake’s ‘For All The Dogs?’

In the leadup to the release of Drake and Nicki Minaj’s respective albums, fans couldn’t help speculating whether the two Young Money artists would reunite after years of not quite collaborating with each other. In September, Nicki herself wondered aloud whether she would appear on For All The Dogs while confirming that he would show up on Pink Friday 2. While he did join her on the PF2 track “Needle,” Nicki didn’t land a spot on For All The Dogs.

In her new interview with Ebro Darden, Nicki added a new wrinkle to the tale, revealing that “Needle” was initially intended for Drake’s album. Addressing the disappointment from fans surrounding the duo only putting out one new collab, Nicki said, “He told the fans on his tour that I was gonna be on his album, and actually the song he was talking about was ‘Needle.’ But, he ended up feeling like sonically, it didn’t match for For All The Dogs and I from day one felt like it matched Pink Friday 2.”

She says she joked around with some of her friends that something would end up happening that would allow her to keep the song for herself — and it turned out she was right. “It was just God’s timing,” she said, nodding to fans’ disappointment and crediting it to neither artist announcing the change. On the bright side, though, as she points out, “It’s the perfect Drake and Nicki song!” You can check out Nicki’s full interview with Ebro below:
